  • The author analyzed 51 Korean male adults and 53 female adults with normal occlusion roentgenocephalometrically and following conclusions were obtained. 1. The angle between the Camper line and the maxillary occlusal line was $-6.22^{\circ}$ in male and $-4.76^{\circ}$ in female. There was not a considerable difference between male and female. 2. The angle formed by the Camper line and the Frankfort Horizontal line was $18.01^{\circ}$ in male and $17.3^{\circ}$ in female. Not a significant difference was found in both sexes. 3. The angles of NSL-$OL_s$, NSL-FH and $OL_s$-FH showed no considerable differences in both sexes.

  • The purpose of this study was construction of bell-bottom blue jeans according to change of flare line and investigate the effects clothing pressure according to various movements of the legs. In this study, movements of leg were classified by M1, M2, M3, M4.(M1:erecting, M2: leapfrogging position, M3:sit-on-one' keens position, M4:Traditional nobel-sitting position) The results were as follows: As usings the leg surface shell by the adhesive paper taping method, basic slacks pattern and blue jeans patterns according to change of flare line was constructed. The order of clothing pressure of the different patterns is C(the flare line is on the calf of the leg)>B(the flare line is on the knee)>A(the flare line is on the thigh). Clothing pressure in the knee point was highest and when the flare line was on the calf of the leg, clothing pressure showed high.

  • In this paper we consider the two tangent lines of isogonal and isotomic conjugates of the line at both vertices of a given triangle. We find the necessary and sufficient condition for the two tangent lines of isogonal or isotomic conjugates of the line at both vertices and the median line to be concurrent. We also prove that every line whose isogonal conjugate tangent lines at both vertices are concurrent with the median line intersects at a unique point. Moreover, we show that the three intersection points correspond to the vertices of triangle are collinear.

  • The present study describes the considerations on the long-term reliability of the on-line partial discharge (PD) ceramic sensor for thermal power generators. Voltage acceleration aging tests were carried out under continuous and impulsive thermal aging at more than $100^{\circ}C$, considering the practical service environment. Experimental results show that the sensors have a life that could last for more than 100 years, excellent dielectric characteristics, and insulation strength. In addition, the ceramic on-line PD sensors were installed in a thermal power generator in Korea for demonstration. The results of the PD calibration and test voltage application prove that the on-line ceramic sensors have satisfactory performances for on-line PD measurement.

  • The purpose of this paper is to present the development processes of the assembly line tester of power transmission for lift truck. Because power transmission is most important part of lift truck, all assembled powertrain parts must be inspected for operational defects, pressures and RPM. Developed assembly line tester is designed to take about 25 minutes for inspecting each assembled power transmission and located it at the end of assembled line. The assembly line no-load tester consists of three parts: (1) the driving hardware part; for installing and operating the transmission. (2) control PCB part; send data from sensors to a computer and control driving part, (3) operation software of no-load tester; for an automatic inspection or manual inspection, for database management and printing transcripts.

  • Many mid-sized companies in Korean automotive industry have attempted to solve the lack of human power, to control the quality of components, to improve the production rate, and to innovate the manufacturing line. The goals of this study are to analyze the production rate of an automotive component manufacturing line using simulation software, to construct a Flexible Automation Subassembly (FAS) system and to suggest an optimized layout design using FAS line. In this research, the simulation model for manufacturing line was developed and used the realistic data of a medium sized company in Korean automotive industry. To complete this research, a simulation software 'ARENA' was used. This research analyzed the work distribution strategy and cycle time element for production flow and proposed an optimized layout to resolve line balancing problem which would bring the improved production rate.

  • In automated assembly line, an automatic guided vehicle system(AGVS) represents a mire versatile means of moving materials automatically. In this paper, the vehicles not only provide the transportation medium between workstations but also as mobile workstations. The objective for the developed model is the determination of the appropriate time to control AGV based assembly line in order to minimize production makespan while maximizing the efficient use of vehicles. In this paper, we consider the finished goods of two types which are produced in assembly line. The assembly line is considered with and without queue. Because no buffer are present in case 1. this model seeks to determine the point in time at which vehicles should be launched in the assembly line without experiencing a delay. The case 2 model also seek to determine the vehicle launch times while minimizing production makespan. The assumption in this model is that the maximum queue size cannot exceed 1 at any time.

  • Two species of Scopula, S. asthena Inoue, 1943 and S. tenuisocius Inoue, 1942, were newly recorded from Korea. Scopula asthena can be distinguished by the bipectinate male antennae and whitish wings with four blackish dots on each wing. This species is similar to S. superior (Butler, 1878) but differs in the large blackish discal dots on both wings. Scopula tenuisocius can be distinguished by its whitish forewing with light grayish, dentate antemedial line, short-line shaped discal dot and line light grayish, weakly rounded, dentate postmedial line, and whitish hindwing with a blackish discal dot and light grayish, undulating medial lines. Scopula tenuisocius is similar to S. floslactata (Haworth, 1809) but the species can be distinguished by the thinner and blackish subterminal line of the forewing that appears minutely dentate along the line. To date, 41 species of the genus Scopula are known in Korea.

  • This study investigates and analyzes the amount and shape of the front waist dart of the bodice and investigates the dart division method by bust size. Measurements at 5 arm positions were taken from 15 subjects. Clothing tests were given to 6 of the subjects. The conclusions were as follows: 1) Front Body surface changes were occurred around armpit and they were caused by the wrinkles of the armpit 2) The curved dart line was more appropriate for use with C cup, the large bust body, than the linear line. The changes of the dart amount at arm movements had different types by bust size. 3) Patterns for A & C cup body were adequate to divide the dart amount by 3 darts such as under the B.P., under the anterior armpit and side line, or to aggregate to 1 dart under the B.P. For the B cup body, however, the suitable pattern to use was the total dart amount divided by 1~2 darts and decreasing the waist line at the side line should be avoided.
