Proposal of the Track Layout Criterion for the Light Rail Transit (경량전철 선로선형기준에 대한 제안)

  • This paper proposes the track layout criterion for the LRT(light rail transit). All criterions established concerning dimension and performance of LRT vehicles that are three types. Types of vehices are AGT(automated guided train) steel wheel. AGT rubber tire and LIM(linear induction motor). Using theoritical approach, adaptation and validity of criterions are verified. Proposed criterions may provide a standard scheme for design and construction of the infrastructure on LRT.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 복잡한 구조의 전통적인 엘리베이터 도어의 문제점을 개선한 리니어유도모터(LIM)를 적용한 단순 메커니즘 구조와 직접 구동의 신개념의 엘리베이터 도어시스템의 개발에 관한 것으로 최적의 도어 구조와 리니어모터의 설계, 벡터제어에 의한 고성능 구동제어기 및 최적 운전 패턴을 제안하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 제안된 리니어도어시스템의 설계와 제작과정에 대해서 자세히 서슬하며 실제 제작되어 분석과 시험에 의해 성능을 검증하고자 한다.

  • The electromagnetic pump can transfer molten metals by the electromagnetic force of LIM for molten metals, which are zinc, tin and aluminum. The speed and quantity of the flow are analyzed using magnetohydrodynamics. The molten zinc is used in the experiment and the experimental results are compared with the analysis.

  • This paper presents the characteristics analysis and experiment of the electromagnetic pump using linear induction motor(LIM Pump) which can transfer the molten metals by the electromagnetic force. The characteristics of LIM Pump are analysed solving the magneto-hydro-dynamic(MHD) equation at various magnetic flux. The molten zinc is used in the experiment and the results we compared with the analysis.

  • For a linear induction motor(LIM), the constants of each phase are different due to the structure. In this paper, a vector control analysis method of a LIM taking into consideration its asymmetrical constants are proposed. And, in order to prove the propriety of proposed vector control method and to analyze the dynamic characteristics of LIM's vector control, FEM taking into account of movement and using stator tapped winding is used in the analysis region. So, It is confirmed that the proposed asymetrical constants vector control theory and simulation method of mixing with FEM is appropriate to dynamic characteristics analysis of LIM.

  • It is difficult to realize the complicate SUM which is applied vector control system, but widely used in AC motor vector motor control system or servo control system because of its high performance in current control. In this paper, we use the dynamic characteristic analyzing methode that can calculate efficiently the end effect by using equivalent circuit methode in the operating SLIM system modeling and doing simulation of output characteristics of vector controller.

  • MAGLEV(Magnetic Levitation) with Middle-low speed be classified as a kind of LRT(Light Rail Transit) in KOREA. Also this vehicle has adopted LIM propulsion method. The MAGLEV has adopted LIM type in operational or developing model in the world. The power rail of LIM is very similar with the 3th rail of LRT in the functional property but the structure and shape of power rail is different with that. WE have to search the optimal power rail system for Korean MAGLEV vehicle. In this paper, we suggest the conceptual design and direction of design for power rail of Korean MAGLEV developing.

  • Authors conducted a deduction of some parameters using the magnetic equivalent circuit method and a verification study of the thrust force control algorithm of a rotary-typed small-scaled linear induction motor for a railway transit. In a LIM, it is possible to express the parameters of the magnetic equivalent circuit into a function of the shape of the secondary aluminium plate and the airgap between the LIM primary core and the secondary aluminium plate. It means that the LIM properties can be changed considerably by the shape of the secondary aluminium plate and the airgap between the LIM primary core and the secondary aluminium plate. So, authors analyzed a tendency of changes of the magnetic equivalent circuit parameters and the LIM characteristics by changing of the airgap of the secondary aluminium plate of a rotary-typed small-scaled LIM. And authors conducted a verification study of the indirect vector control algorithm with constant slip frequency by using the rotary-typed small-scaled LIM tester set on the basis of the calculated LIM parameters. Finally authors accomplished a research on applicability for LIM railway transit.
