The functional properties of cheese, such as texture and melt, are known to be controlled by several important parameters. Recently, the characteristics of Ca in cheeses, especially the form of Ca (insoluble (INSOL) or soluble) and the shift in Ca equilibrium (i.e., from INSOL to soluble Ca), during aging has received a lot of attention. The INSOL form of Ca, which is present as a structural form in casein, plays a critical role in determining the functional properties of cheese during the early period of ripening (~1 mon). It seems that there is always a reduction of INSOL Ca content in cheese during ripening and there are also factors that can affect the shift in Ca equilibrium. These factors may include the composition of cheese milk, cheese manufacturing pH, acid development during aging, adopting curd-washing in various methods, pre-acidification of milk, etc. There have been many studies showing that the rheological and melting properties of cheese during ripening were significantly (p<0.05) affected by the shift in Ca equilibrium. Therefore, for cheese makers, it is now possible to predict/manage the functional properties of cheese by monitoring and controlling Ca equilibrium in cheese during aging.

본 연구에서는 향후 공급량이 증가될 것으로 예상되는 라디아타소나무와 국산 낙엽송의 두 수종을 이용하여 합판을 제조하고 구조용 합판 및 콘크리트 거푸집용 합판으로서의 사용 가능성을 검토하고자 하였다. 먼저, 기초적인 재질을 평가하기 위하여 합판의 재질시험 및 못성능 등의 시험을 실시하였고, 콘크리트조 주택 혹은 목조주택 등의 구조용 재료로의 사용을 검토하기 위해 집중하중과 균일분포하중에 의한 구조성능 시험 및 콘크리트 거푸집용으로서의 성능시험을 실시하였다. 합판의 기초 재질에 해당되는 비중, 너비 굽음, 길이 굽음 비틀림에 대한 실험 결과, 구조용 재료로서의 기준을 만족하였다. 못 측면 저항력, 못 인발 저항력 그리고 못머리 관통력에 대한 실험 결과, 구조용 재료로서의 벽체나 지붕재에 대한 표준성능을 만족하였다. 이들 두 수종으로 제조한 합판의 경우, 집중하중과 균일 분포하중에 의한 구조성능 평가, 콘크리트 거푸집용으로서의 성능 평가 결과를 볼 때 구조용 덮개재, 바탕바닥 마감재, 콘크리트 거푸집용 재료로의 사용이 가능하다고 판단되었다.

Background: This research was planned with the aim of determining the effect of symptom frequency of children with cancer on the quality of life of their parents. Materials and Methods: In gathering the research data, the Child and Parent Information Form, the Symptom Evaluation Form and the Family Version of Life Quality Scale in Cancer Patients were used. Evaluation was made by using percentage calculations, Kruskal Wallis test, Bonferroni adjusted t-test and Bonferroni adjusted Mann-Whitney U test. The significance level was accepted as 0.005. Results: Some 37.6% of the participant children were female and 62.4% were male, with an average age of $10.2{\pm}4.5$. While 41.0% were newly diagnosed, 46.2% were in remission and 12.8% was in relapse. Highly significant differences were detected according to the symptom frequency with parent physical and psychological health, social anxiety, and spiritual wellness sub-dimensions, as well as total point averages. Conclusions: It is thought that following up the symptoms that might develop depending on cancer diagnosis and treatment and implementing nursing initiatives aimed at reducing the symptoms, knowing the importance of life quality, maintaining measures aimed at life quality and planning initiatives to increase the life quality will play a key role in maintaining and developing the health of Turkish paediatric oncology patients and their parents.

Two new marine sponges in genus Suberites, S. hataedoensis n. sp and S. waedoensis n. sp have been collected from Hataedo Island and Waedo Island, Korea during 2005-2006. S. hataedoensis n. sp. is similar to S. durissimus in the spicule composition and texture. However, they differ in growth form, skeleton and surface. S. waedoensis n. sp. is similar to S. japonicus in spicule composition and skeleton. However, they differ in growth form, surface and texture.

현대의 일러스트레이션 디자인은 독창성을 필요로 하는데, 해양생물의 형태와 색채는 일러스트레이션 창작에 풍부한 소재를 제공한다. 일러스트레이션은 디자인적 창조 가치가 매우 높다. 본 연구는 해양생물을 거울삼아 색채학적 지식과 시각적 형태설계를 통해 이를 밝히고, 일러스트레이션 디자인과 해양생물을 주요 연구대상으로 하였다. 본 연구목적은 ① 해양생물의 전형적 특징을 색과 형태 중심으로 정리, ② 이를 해양생물을 대표하는 그래픽 기호로 도출하여, ③ 일러스트레이션으로 접목할 수 있음을 해양생물 일러스트레이션 제작으로 사례를 제시하였다. 연구를 통해서 결론을 도출하고, 해양생물과 육지생물을 구분하는 전형적인 특징 중 하나로 곡선적인 특징을 부각시켰다. 열대어 색채 현상에 대한 분류 연구와 비교분석을 통해 도출한 열대어류의 색채 특성을 바탕으로 해수 열대어의 색채를 추출 및 가공하여 일러스트레이션 디자인에 활용할 수 있다.

This experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of liming on life form and ecological behaviour of stand in low productive grassland with acidified solil at dairy fram in yesan, chungnam province. The inferior plant community of low productive grassland was improved to the most desirable pasture association with herbage of 84% by liming. the life forms of association in low productive grassland were composed of hemicryptophytes of 49.4%, therophytes of 48.2%, geophytes of 2.2% and chamaephytes of 0.2% but by liming their life forms of hemicryptophytes increased greatly by 32.6%, on the other hand geophytes were much more decreased by 33.4%. The ecological behaviour of moisture figure and nitrogen figure were slightly increased and soil reaction figure was gradually decreased in low productive grassland by liming.

The Chinese calligraphy art, which still adheres to tradition, has fallen into the formalism deeper and deeper. The majority of studies on calligraphy still focus on the formal beauty and neglect the core spirit hidden behind the calligraphy art. The calligraphy art is an art defined by words. This definition is not only reflected in the form of the characters but also, and more importantly, in the meaning of the characters. It is not a form of writing, but a writing of lives, wills and feelings, a writing of the experience of daily life, and an improvised poetic writing. With the advent of the age of artificial intelligence, the Chinese traditional calligraphy art, which still adheres to the "supremacy of the brush and ink", has shown a sense of dystopia, and its end is inevitable. Only by truly understanding the core of the calligraphy art, by integrating it with contemporary daily life, and by focusing on the communication of ideas in calligraphy, will it be possible to obtain a new life.

Today, the population of cycle participants is consistently increasing. Cycling is becoming not only a form of physical exercise but also a form of tourism in which cycle activities are related to visiting a particular destination. With the perspective of participation sport tourism, the purpose of this study is to investigate how the level of cycle tourists' participation affects their quality of life. An online survey link was sent to cycle participants to collect data. Out of the total 337 respondents, a total of 226 samples were used for the final analysis, disregarding those that were found to be inadequate or unreliable. For data analysis, frequency analysis, reliability test, validity, correlations, and regressions were employed with SPSS 22.0. For our first result, we found that the level of cycle participation did not significantly affect the quality of physical life. Second, the level of cycle participation did not have significant effect on the quality of mental life. Third, the level of cycle participation behavior did not have a significant effect on the quality of social life. Fourth, the level of cycle participation behavior did not have a significant effect on the quality of environmental life. Conclusions and political implications are discussed.

The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of home care service on the quality of life in patients with gynecological cancer. This randomized case control study was carried out in a womans hospital between September 2011 and February 2012. Women undergoing gynecological cancer treatment were separated into intervention and control groups, of 35 patients each. The intervention group was provided with nursing care service through hospital and home visits ($1^{st}$, $12^{th}$ weeks) within the framework of a specifically developed nursing care plan. The control group was monitored without any intervention through the hospital routine protocols ($1^{st}$, $12^{th}$ weeks). Data were collected using An Interview Form, Home Visit Monitoring Form and Quality of Life Scale/Cancer Survivors. Effects of home care service on the quality of life in gynecological cancer patients were investigated using chi-square tests, McNemar's test, independent t-test and ANOVA. This study found that the intervention group receiving home care service had a moderately high quality of life (average mean: $6.01{\pm}0.64$), while the control group had comparatively lower quality (average mean: $4.35{\pm}0.79$) within the 12 week post-discharge period (p<0.05). This study found home care services to be efficient in improving the quality of life in patients with gynecological cancer.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation between the feeling of powerlessness, social support and life satisfaction in the elderly. Methods: The subjects were 158 old people aged over 65 who were attending one of one college and three settlement houses for senior citizens located in B city. Results: The relationship between the feeling of powerlessness and life satisfaction was in a moderate negative correlation with each other (r=-.433, p=.000). The relationship between social support and life satisfaction was in a moderate positive correlation with each other (r=.410, p=.000). It was found that the higher social support was, the higher life satisfaction was. There was remarkable difference in the form of family (F=2.69, p=.023), the form of residence (F=5.29, p=.002), whether to belong to a group (F=2.26, p=.025). Conclusion: For the reasons stated above, as the feeling of powerlessness is lower and social support is higher, life satisfaction is higher. The results clearly show that in order to improve life satisfaction of the elderly, we need to ease their feeling of powerlessness and enhance social support to them. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a nursing intervention program to reduce powerlessness and to improve social support for the elderly.
