The education will boil from daily life and as doing desirably, Nammyung emphasized. This fact all people importantly from education, to think. But recognizes this problem the center of life and study of oneself and the case which indicates writes. Nammyung led and recognized the importance of daily life from education. The life of the human being becomes more distant from daily life and when being absorbed in being external makes a valuable territory lose from life. When with the same interest of education becomes more distant from daily life of life, the education makes the meaning lose. When meaning the education is embodied from if human life, must have an educational interest in daily life. And works from the daily life which is repeated, meeting, association, dialogue and relationship, introspection etc. must become the interest territory of education, the education must devise is value from daily life the possibility of experiencing in order to be. Because the work which is ordinary, meeting from ordinary, with human relation and association dialogs, reflective etc. to compose a life. When the education excepts a daily life consequently, will not be able to give the value which is important in life. When saying conclusively, the education must escape from the fact that considers seriously a knowledge acquisition and a compensation. And the education must do to make a value the people experience rather from daily life. The resultant education will be able to accomplish the essential function of the education which loses, daily life will be valuable and there is a possibility which to make feel will do. With being like that, education could be reconciled with the people.

It also examined how family life events, social support, and support from the children affected the level of life satisfaction of the low-income age in the Seoul metropolitan area. The analysis of the data showed the following results: 1. The low-income female roamers experienced finance and business strains more than other family life events. The significant family life events that affected their life satisfaction were intra-family strains, finance and business stains, and illness and family care stains. 2. The level of social support was average. The low-income female earners reported that their relatives had provided the largest amount of support among their social network; however, only support from their friends affected their life satisfaction. Emotional support was the common support type which low-income female easers had received. 3. Purpose: The purpose of the study was to understand and describe the experiences of young Korean women with attempted suicide. Methods: The data were collected by individual interviews from four women who attempted suicide during 2008-2009. A total of 25 hours interviews were audio-recorded and transcribed verbatim. The data were analyzed using feminist phenomenology to reflect and respect the participants' view and experience as much as possible. Results: Five theme clusters and ten themes emerged from the analysis. Five theme clusters include "anger resulting from others-oriented life," "guilt resulting from selfish life," "confusion resulting from unbalanced life between self and others," "attempted suicide resulting from the chaos of life as a whole," and "peace resulting from balanced life between self and others." While these theme clusters represent the phases of life experience, ten themes indicate specific problems or strategies raised during these phases in the context of male-oriented Korean patriarchal society. Conclusion: The results of the study provide insights by deeply understanding of life of young women who attempted suicide in the Korean sociocultural context with the ideology of the subjection of women.
This study focused on the understanding the life of the elderly in the institution by phenomenological method. The participants were seven. who were 4 men and 3 women living in the elderly institution in Taegu. The data were collected through the indepth interviews and participant observation from June 20. 1999 to January 10. 2000 and analyzed by phenomenological analytic method by Giorgi. The structure of the meaning were as follows: Unhappy life: irresponsibility. self-centered thought. hardness. Irresistible life: misfortune. unhealthiness. Reading their son's intention. Bitter life: unfair treatment from their sons and daughters, betrayed feeling for their being thrown away. Outside oriented life: a fear of others' attention, wrong information about institutionalized life, maladjustment. Self-consolation life: comfortableness, convenience, economic merit of low cost. Dissatisfied life: discomfort from communal living. unkindness of the institution staffs, depreciated tendency to the elder people, irrational social security system. economic distress, physical pain, restrained feeling. Tenacity to their sons and daughters longingness for their sons and daughters, regretableness, waiting, Regretable life: remorse for their past life. agony, guilty, loneliness, grief, self-abandonment, self-depreciation, other residents' death in common. Inharmonious life with other residents complaint, conflict, ignorance, selfishness. Yearning life for opposite sex: sexual interest. Preparing for their life: control over their body and mind, consideration for others. A life with hope: blessing death, forever healthfulness, affiliation to their family. From the results of this study an education and consultation should be done as soon as possible to remove the negative recognition of the institutional life to the facility residents. the family and the future consumers of elderly institution. To minimize the maladjustment to facility life of residents, a new program and interventions for the new comer's are needed. The thesis with above results will widen the understandings of institutional residents and an important guidance for a better nursing care in elderly institutions of korea.
Objectives: We calculated life expectancy and inequalities therein by income for the period of 2016-2018 across the 253 electoral constituencies of the 20th National Assembly election in Korea. Methods: We obtained population and death data between 2016 and 2018 from the National Health Information Database and constructed abridged life tables using standard life table procedures according to gender and income quintiles for the electoral constituencies of the 20th National Assembly election held in 2016. Results: Life expectancy across the 253 constituencies ranged from 80.51 years to 87.05 years, corresponding to a gap of 6.54 years. The life expectancy difference by income across the 253 constituencies ranged from 2.94 years to 10.67 years. In each province, the difference in life expectancy by income across electoral constituencies was generally greater than the inter-constituency differences. Constituencies in capital and metropolitan areas showed a higher life expectancy and a lower life expectancy difference by income than constituencies in rural areas. Conclusions: Pro-rich inequalities in life expectancy by income existed in every electoral constituency in Korea. Both intra-constituency and inter-constituency socioeconomic inequalities in health should be highlighted in future policy-making in the National Assembly.

The antioxidant potentials of ethanolic extracts derived from Aster yomena (A. yomena) were evaluated by assessing their total phenolic and flavonoid contents and radical scavenging activities. Our findings revealed that the 60% ethanolic extract of A. yomena exhibited the most robust antioxidant properties among all extracts tested. Specifically, the IC50 values for the 2,2'-azino-bis (3-ethyl benzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activities of the 60% ethanolic extract from A. yomena were determined to be 1,640.30 ㎍/mL and 2,655.10 ㎍/mL, respectively. Moreover, the inhibitory effect on malondialdehyde increased with the 60% ethanolic extract from A. yomena. To assess the neuroprotective effects, we examined the impact of the 60% ethanolic extract from A. yomena against H2O2-induced cytotoxicity in HT-22 (mouse hippocampal neuronal cell line) and SK-N-MC (human neuroblastoma cell line) cells. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in cell viability and reduced intracellular oxidative stress. Furthermore, the major bioactive compounds present in the 60% ethanolic extract from A. yomena were identified as chlorogenic acid and rutin through high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis.
This study examined the effects of social support on the perceived life satisfaction of middle-aged wives. To better understand the effects of social support on the perceived life satisfaction of middle-aged wives this study considered the following four different types of social support: emotional material informational and companionshp support. In addition each type of social support from the following five sources-the family of origin network the family of husband network friends neighbors and social organization-were examined separately in relation to the perceived life satisfaction of middle-aged wives. The data for his study were collected in the winter of 1995 from 417 housewives in Pusam wholse youngest child has graduated from elementary schools. Analyses of these data proved that (1) contrary to the classical "middle-age cristis" theory the average level of the perceived life satisfaction of middle-aged wives is relatively high; (2) there is a strong positive correla ion between the global level of social support and the overall life satisfaction of middle-aged wives; (3) the family of origin network is the most important provider of social support to middle-aged wives; and (4) the effects of social support on the perceived life satisfaction of middle-aged wives differ across types and sources of support. Findings showed that emotional informational and companionship support from the family of origin network have significantly positive effects on the perceived life satisfaction of middle-aged wives. On he other hand the material support from the family of origin network proved to have little effect.le effect.

Two linyphiid spiders, Saitonia kawaguchikonis Saito & Ono, 2001 and Asthenargus niphonius Saito & Ono, 2001 were confirmed from Korea for the first time. Males of S. kawaguchikonis and a female of A. niphonius were collected with pitfall traps in a leaf litter of mixed forests in three National Parks (Hallyeohaesang National Park, Mt. Naejangsan, and Mt. Sobaeksan) during the seasonal surveys for the spider fauna in mountainous terrain from 2018 to 2020. These two species were formerly known from China and Japan, or only from Japan, respectively. The present study describes these two species with measurements, morphological illustrations, and a distribution map. This report adds the genus Asthenargus Simon & Fage, 1922 from Korea to the Korean spider fauna for the first time.

To explore marine microorganisms with medical potential, we isolated and identified marine bacteria from floats, marine algae, animals, and sponges collected from Jeju Island, Korea. We isolated and identified 21 different strains from the marine samples by 16S rRNA analysis, cultured them in marine broth, and extracted them with ethyl acetate (EtOAc) to collect secondary metabolite fractions. Next, we evaluated their anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effects. Among the 21 strains, the secondary metabolite fraction of Bacillus badius had both strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity, and thus was selected for further experiments. An antioxidant compound detected from the secondary metabolite fraction of B. badius was purified by preparative centrifugal partition chromatography (n-hexane:EtOAc:methanol:water, 4:6:4:6, v/v), and identified as diolmycin A2. Additionally, diolmycin A2 strongly inhibited nitric oxide production. Thus, we successfully identified a significant bioactive compound from B. badius among the bacterial strains collected from Jeju Island.
