자연휴양림 숙박시설만족도 모형연구 (Model Study on the Level of Satisfaction for Recreation Forest Accommodations)

  • Research into the use of recreation forest accommodations, the main facilities in these forests, and user satisfaction with them has been carried out for recreation forests in the suburbs of Daegusi and Gyongsangbukdo. This study aimed at providing background material to support the increasing demand to improve the facilities of recreation forests and to educate recreation forest staff about how to provide better service. User satisfaction with recreation forests as determined through regression analysis was affected by the following factors in this order: indoor recreation, the indoor space, outdoor recreation, time satisfaction factor, and activity opportunities. The level of satisfaction is affected by the force of factors above. The order of effective offerings of accommodations is presented according to the results.

자휴양림의 개발요소가 이용만족도에 미치는 영향 (Factors Affecting User´s Satisfaction in Development of Natural Recreation Forest)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine factors affecting user´s satisfaction in development of natural recreation forest(NRF) in order to answer the research question: What is the magnitude of factors affecting user´s satisfaction in development of NRF. After reviewing the literature, mechanism of outdoor recreation, and development factors in NRF, we constructed the conceptual framework and have formulated the hypothesis of this research. we have obtained data through a questionnaire, which surveyed 625 visitors at 10 of the 72 natural recreation forests in Korea in 1999, We have analyzed the data using the mean difference test, Pearson´s correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression method. We found that 1) all the development factors except recreational resources affecting user´s satisfaction have turned out to be statistically significant at one percent level. The direction of relationship between independent variable and dependent variable is the same as that of dependent variable. 2) in bivariate analysis, the relationships between user´s satisfaction and all the development factors are fairly high and statistically significant. The higher the value of development factors, the higher the degree of user´s satisfaction. 3 in multivariate analysis, such variables as the suitability of activities level of services, atmosphere, and facility have been statistically significant at one percent level, and 4) Their relative contribution of the suitability of various recreational activities, level of atmosphere, and service on dependent variable have been turned out to have 8.167, 4.889, 3.333, and 1.611 times more importance than that of the suitabity of recreational resources, respectively. The research results suggest that a guideline for the creation of marketable NFR and development of use-programs and recreational atmosphere be recommended in the planning and development process of NRF, and excessive investment on facilities is not desirable. The approach and analysis method adopted by this research is highly useful for an evaluation criterion of NRF and development of devices for increasing user´s satisfaction in NRF. It is recommended that more empirical study on individual factors affecting user´s satisfaction be performed in the future.

Similar services, different perceptions: The gaps of satisfaction based on the level of recreation specialization

  • The golf industry has become the center of attention for recreational activities in the participant sport market; however, there has been little effort made to understand golf consumer and their consumption behavior using the concept of 'recreational specialization' which segments the golfers based on level of specialization in golf. The purpose of this study was to explore the differences in the relationships among perceived service quality, price of playing golf, overall customer satisfaction with the course, and a player's intention to revisit the same golf course based on the magnitude of recreation specialization in golf. Four public and two private golf courses from the southeastern state of the United States were randomly chosen from a list in a golf magazine. The 365 surveys among 417 participants were ultimately analyzed. Multiple group analysis was conducted in order to investigate differences in relationships among service quality, price, customer satisfaction, and revisit intentions between groups based on the level of recreation specialization. The key findings were 1) for more specialized golfers, satisfaction with price did not affect overall customer satisfaction or revisit intention, however, service quality significantly influenced both overall customer satisfaction and revisit intention, 2) for less specialized golfers, satisfaction with price significantly influenced overall customer satisfaction but did not affect revisit intention. Knowledge about which the determinants of satisfaction are different between more and less specialized golfers could provide a better understanding of how different marketing strategies should be implemented for different specialized levels of golfers.

  • This study was carried out to estimate the recreation carrying capacity of lawn areas in parks. Recreation carrying capacity in this study is composed of two parts, ecological carrying capacity. This part deals with the psychological carrying capacity, based on the perception of crowding level and recreation satisfaction of users. The survey was conducted at the lawn areas of Doturag World and Seorabul Plaza in Bomun Resort Complex in Kyungju. The major results are as follows: 1. As the result of regression of regression analysis between use density of lawn area and level of perceived crowding, the capacity was estimated as 60.0㎡ man. 2. As the result of regression analysis between use density of lawn areas and total recreation satisfaction, the capacity was estimated as 48.5㎡/man. 3. As the result of regression analysis between use density of lawn areas and satisfaction to use density, the capacity was estimated as 63.2㎡/man. 4. As a conclusion, the psychological carrying capacity was estimated as 60.0㎡/man. And this value is based on user's perception of crowding and recreation satisfaction level for each use densities.

자연휴양림과 수목원 방문객의 이용특성 비교 연구 (Comparison of Visitor Characteristics in Recreational Forests and Arboretums)

  • 본 연구는 자연휴양림과 수목원 간의 방문 이용특성과 서비스 만족도, 전반적 만족도 및 충성도(재방문의향, 권유의향)의 관계를 비교, 분석하는 것을 목적으로 수행하였으며 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자연휴양림의 서비스 만족도, 전반적 만족도, 이용객 충성도 모두 수목원보다 높게 나타났으며, 상대적으로 서비스 만족도가 전반적 만족도나 이용객 충성도에 비해 평균 차이가 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 자연휴양림의 서비스 만족도는 전반적 만족도, 이용객 충성도에 영향을 주지 않는 반면, 수목원의 서비스 만족도는 전반적 만족도와 이용객 충성도에 정(+)의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 수목원 이용객의 전반적 만족도에 미치는 가장 큰 요인은 '산림 및 휴양경관'이었으며 재방문의향은 '자연경관 체험콘텐츠'와 '시설이용요금'이, 권유의향은 '자연경관 체험콘텐츠'가 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 인자로 도출되었다. 본 연구는 전국에 분포한 자연휴양림과 수목원 방문 이용객을 대상으로 공통된 항목을 동시에 조사한 자료를 토대로 분석하여 두 산림휴양공간 간에 이용특성에 차이가 있음을 확인하였다는데 의미가 있다. 향후 이러한 전국 규모의 이용객 실태조사 결과가 산림휴양공간 유형별 차별화된 운영전략 제시로 이어지기 위해서는 산림휴양공간에서 제공하는 서비스 전반을 아우르는 공통 조사항목의 개발이 필요하다. 더불어 각각의 산림휴양공간의 조성목적에 부합하는 기능 발휘를 위해 서비스 콘텐츠를 선택적으로 운영하고 있으므로 해당 항목을 추가적으로 개발, 모듈화하여 공통 조사항목과 병행 조사하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 판단된다.

  • 자연휴양림은 산림의 공익적 기능 중 자연과 가장 가까이에서 휴식과 심신의 안정, 주변인들과 친목 도모를 위한 좋은 시설 중의 하나다. 국내 자연휴양림은 1988년을 시작으로 2006년 말 현재 123개소가 지정 고시될 정도로 급격한 증가가 있어 왔다. 이처럼 양적인 증가에 따른 이용자 중심의 만족에 대한 요구도 점점 높아지고 있으며 양적인 팽창에 비례하여 질적인 이용만족도에 대한 연구의 필요성이 대두 되었다. 본 연구는 2007년 11월에 신설 개장한 구미 옥성 자연휴양림을 대상으로 개별 설문을 통하여 이용자의 만족도를 결정하는 여러 속성들에 대하여 알아보았다. 설문 분석은 물리적 분야, 심리적 분야로 구분하여 실시하였으며 요인분석, 회귀분석을 통하여 만족도 모형을 구축하였다. 물리적 분야에서는 환경적 요인이 더 큰 만족도를, 심리적 분야에서는 내적휴양요인이 만족도에 더 큰 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 이용자 만족도 모형을 통하여 향후 있을 자연휴양림의 시설 및 서비스 개선작업을 위한 효율적인 방안을 제시하여 운영자 및 이용자 모두에게 적절하고 수준 높은 휴양기회를 제공하기 위한 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다.

군집별 만족도 비교를 통한 자연휴양림의 효율적 운영 방안 연구 (Study on Operating Strategy for Recreation Forests through Comparing the Level of User Satisfaction according to Clusters)

  • 산림과 계곡 속에서 휴양을 통한 개인의 자아개발과 주위사람들과의 교류의 장소, 환경에 대한 교육의 장소, 심리적 안정과 정신적 편안함을 누리기 위한 장소로서 자연휴양림이 각광을 받고 있다. 1988년부터 급격히 설립되기 시작한자 연휴양림은 이용객 또한 증가되고 있으며, 지역적 여건이나 환경적 여건에 따라 그 특징이 세분화 되어 가고 있다. 그리고 주 5일제의 영향과 휴식, 여가, 웰빙 등에 대한 관심 증대 그리고 여름이나 행락철 또는 주말에 집중되는 이용객들로 인해 조용히 심신의 휴양을 원하는 방문객들은 기대한 휴양 욕구를 충족하지 못하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 이용객의 효율적 만족도 향상을 위해 전국 국 공유 85개 자연휴양림을 군집분류한 선행연구를 바탕으로 각각의 군집별 만족도의 차이를 검증하였다. 설문은 각각의 군집별로 적절히 배분하여 1,132부를 회수하여 유효한 설문지 1,015부를 분석에 이용하였으며, 설문의 신뢰성과 구축된 모형식의 통계적 적절함을 검증하였다. 그 결과, 군집별로 만족도에 영향을 미치는 독립변수의 순위에 유의한 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 수용잠재적 자연휴양림군집, 내부활동적 자연휴양림군집, 내부활동, 수용잠재혼합 자연휴양림군집에서는 휴양 및 피로회복의 변수가 만족도에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치고 있으며, 그 외의 변수들의 영향력 순서도 다름을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 이용실적지표 자연휴양림군집에서는 방문비용의 적절함이, 교육적지 표 군집에서는 주변관광지와의 연계성이 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 군집별로 차별화된 자원의 배분을 통하여 이용객에 대한 효율적인 만족도 향상을 위한 서비스 및 자연휴양림 환경의 정비작업에 우선순위를 제공하여 줄 수 있을 것이다.

패션웹사이트 이용실태와 정보만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Types of Behavior and Satisfaction Level on the Information on Internet Fashion Web Sites)

  • The purpose of this study were (1) to analyze the current fashion web-sites on the internet, which were increasing rapidly in number, (2) to find out the users purchase experiences of fashion products at internet shopping malls and satisfaction level on the information provided by the fashion sites. The questionnaire was administered to 332 women & men and data were analyzed by frequency, mean, standard deviation, factor analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA and t-test. The results of this study were as follows. The factors on the satisfaction of information fashion web-sites categorized as 5 areas: Economy$.$Convenience, Aesthetics $.$Recreation, Variety $.$Interests, Up-to dateness $.$Specialization, and Reliability$.$ Precision. On the factor of Economy$.$Convenience, the users who had more frequent access and who were in their 20’s expressed the higher level satisfaction. On the factor of Aesthetics$.$Recreation, the users who had longer periods of time of use, who had lower level of internet shopping mall involvement, and students appeared to be more satisfied. On the factor of Variety$.$Interests, the users marking higher level of satisfaction were those who had higher frequency of uses, who had shorter period of time of use, who had lower level of internet shopping mall involvement and were students. On the factor of Up-to-dateness$.$Specialization, higher level of satisfaction was shown among the users who had shorter period of time of use, who had higher frequency of uses, who were in their 20’s and who were students. There was no significant differences according to Reliability & Precision factor.

휴양환경 이용수준에 대한 방문객의 적응 및 대응행동 - 북한산 국립공원 소귀천 탐방로를 대상으로 - (Visitor Adjustment and Coping Behavior for Use Level in a Recreational Setting - A Case Study of Bukhansan National park -)

  • Perceived crowding is known as a necessary method to evaluate social carrying capacity in recreational settings. But according to the results of previous research, perceived crowding, use density, and satisfaction have shown weak and indirect correlations. The theory of visitors’ adjustment is one of several possible explanations for this poor relation. But the validity of the visitors’ adjustment theory has not been not inspected clearly. Therefore, the purposes of this study are to understand visitors’ adjustment theory and to examine visitors’ adjustment to the overuse of recreational settings. Study hypotheses were formulated through literature review and related to visitors’ adjustment in recreation density. Pour hypotheses were established and inspected with the case study, i.e., Rationalization : Visitors’ satisfaction isn't related to use density in recreation setting, 2) Product-shift : Preference norm is related to current use density, 3) Self-selection : Visitors’ satisfaction for the use level is generally high, and 4) Displacement : Norm interference is related to willingness to revisit. The case study was conducted during May and June,2001. According to the results of this survey, visitors adjust to overuse of recreation setting through rationalization and product shift (hypotheses l/2 acceptance). Current use density isn't related to visitors’ satisfaction and willingness to revisit (see table 3). And visitors’ preference norm is modified by situation (see table 4). Visitors’ satisfaction and willingness to revisit don't show a high correlation but moderately high (see table 5, hypothesis 3 acceptance). Differences between visitors’ preference norm and current use density is norm interference. Norm interference isn't related to willingness to revisit (see table 7). Therefore, the norm interference concept is not a useful method to explain visitors’ adjustment to the degree of overuse in a recreational setting (hypothesis 4 rejection). As for future directions, the following are proposed: 1) correctly understanding and reestablishing the visitor norm and norm interference concept, 2) introducing a composite research method to monitor visitors’ behavior and survey visitors’ attitudes and coping responses. These efforts would be helpful in the Planning and management of recreational settings to improve the quality of visitors’ experiences.

Assessing Students' Satisfaction in Public Universities in Bangladesh: An Empirical Study

  • This study aims to examine the level of students' satisfaction toward the services (i.e. accommodation facilities, transportation facilities, and recreation and sports facilities) provided by the public universities in Bangladesh. The study also aims to identify the major service factors that influence students' satisfaction in public universities in the country. A cross-sectional survey was conducted at six public universities to obtain primary data. A standardized questionnaire was distributed to a total of 500 randomly selected students to collect the data. Several statistical tools, namely, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were employed to analyze the data. The findings revealed that recreation and sports facilities have the strongest impact on students' satisfaction in the public universities in Bangladesh. Transportation facilities also have positive and significant impact on student's satisfaction. However, the study found a negative correlation between accommodation facilities and students' satisfaction indicating that students are not satisfied with the accommodation facilities provided by the public universities. The findings of this study provide an insight about students' satisfaction that might be useful to authorities of the public universities and other higher educational institutions in designing policies for various services and facilities to be provided to their students.
