The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of culture teaching and using web sites as a method of culture teaching in college English education. To achieve these purposes, a web-based culture teaching-learning model was developed and applied in English classes. Then, the effects were compared with those of a culture teaching method which were based on the traditional verbal explanation. As the tools for this study, two test sheets were used to measure language proficiency and American cultural knowledge. Focusing on the study results, the conclusions were summed up as follows: First, for enhancing the American cultural knowledge, using the web was found to be more effective than traditional verbal explanations. Second, for English language enhancement through web-based culture teaching, it is necessary to do it for each level of English proficiency or develop web sites which fit well with students' interests or levels.

According to the Bank Profitabilities Statistics of OECD members, Our domestic banks applying commissions for both exchange and selling/buying foreign currencies are evaluated as much higher than those of other countries banks. The theory indicates an analysis results and comparison in between banks over the world. Our domestic bank assert that, in general, the aggregated banking commission income is lower than those of other countries by comparing in the field of non-interests profits. Viewing by another analysis in details, some commission rate applying to domestic services are far below than cost basis, but other commission rate applying to foreign currency transaction services is abnormally higher. Such unfair rate should be lowered to the similar level to other banks in the world and also the actual cost should be reasonably reevaluated in the reasonable manner. One more thing, The writer suggest that domestic banks should spend efforts to increase their income by improving and diversifying with the various type of new commissions applied to domestic market, such as multi-functional financial services, expanding ATM services, electronic settling technique etc under today's rapidly changing and opening world financial market.

Due to development of power electronics technology, power conversion system are tend to small size, easy to use and light weight. Especially motor control system have increased concerns and interests about IPM(Intelligent Power Module) inverter, which contains protection circuit, drive circuit and power devices. So, we manufactured 3-phase inverter using DIP-IPM(Dual in-line package IPM) PS21245- E(1.5 Kw) made by MITSUBISHI Electric. Some of these features include -HVIC to Provide level shifting and gate drive for high-side IGBTs. The interface circuit between pwm controller and DIP-IPM can made by direct connection. In order to validate dynamic performance of the proposed system, the actual experiment worked out at wide speed range. The developed system is shown as a good dynamic characteristics.

Purpose: Education provided in many Korean medical colleges still isn't free from the contents of the "2+4 year program." Korean medical colleges especially holds onto the belief that humanities must be taught to the lower grades. Methods: I introduced the six-year integrated program and reversed the order of the existing education program. The new program assigned anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry to the 1st years, and humanities subjects such as forensic medicine and medical ethics to the 4th, 5th, and 6th years. Results: Increased participation and interests among students. Conclusion: Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM) at the level of pre-medicine brings harm rather than good.

Three dimensional orthogonal grid generation is able to control effectively the grid spacing near the boundaries, but there are some difficulty to meshing complex geometry. The mesh complex geometry by orthogonal grid generation method must divide block of geometry It is required a careful skill, and long time. Its also difficulty to make unstructured mesh on complex geometry. Particularly, three dimensional geometry must have more time and effort. Recently, there have been growing interests in mesh generation of complex grometry, aslike an automobile headlamp, the heart. The method of easily meshing complex geometry is resarched to solve them. We suggest octree grid into one among these methods. As octrce grid is automaticaly adapted at the boundaries by determine the level operations to control the grid spacing near the boundaries are unnecessary. In this paper we showed throe dimensional mesh generation, and heat-flow analysis on the octree mesh.

개인화 서비스를 효과적으로 제공하기 위하여 사용자의 관심사를 이해하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 최근 많은 연구들이 사용자의 관심사를 이해하기 위하여 오픈 디렉토리 프로젝트를 이용하여 그 관심사를 주제별로 분류하는 방법을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 관심사를 더욱 정확하게 이해하기 위하여 명사로 표현되어 있는 오픈 디렉토리 프로젝트를 동사 레벨로 확장하는 기법을 제안한다. 또한 실험 결과를 통하여 제안된 기법이 디렉토리와 연관된 동사를 효과적으로 확장하였음을 입증한다. 확장된 오픈 디렉토리 프로젝트는 사용자의 관심사를 동사 레벨로 이해하도록 함으로써 다양한 개인화 서비스에 활용될 것이다.

본 논문은 디지탈 시스템의 회로측정 평가방식에 관한 연구로서, 조합논리회로와 순서논리회로에서의 회로복잡도와 부분회로에 대한 외부 단자로부터의 접근도를 구하고, 이 수로부터 측정평가방식을 논하였다. 따라서 회로설계 초에 이 평가방식을 적용해 봄으로써, 더 좋은 측정평가도를 얻도록 재설계되어져야 하며 이러한 설계방법은 시스템 유지보수에 매우 경제적이고 신뢰도를 높일 수 있다. 또한 스테픈슨-그레손의 방법과 본 방법의 회로측정 평가도를 비교하면 결과 값은 서로일치하면서 본 방법이 계산과정에서 매우 간편하였다.

What is the basis of the political polarization in Thailand? What are the key differences between the opposing camps? This paper aims to answer these questions at the individual level, using a national survey conducted by the authors between July and August 2017. The paper argues that the color-based polarizations in Thailand are significant and deeply rooted in a complicated array of demographic, attitudinal, and political dimensions. That is, despite their relative differences in demographics and socioeconomic status, the Yellow Shirt and Red Shirt supporters differ in party identification and democratic values. This finding indicates that the struggle between the conflicting groups in this country is not just about competing interests, but about the identities and basic values underlying the "rules of the political game."

인터렉티브 디지털 스토리텔링은 디지털 기기 등을 이용해 사용자의 반응에 따라 이야기를 진행하는 것을 의미한다. 이는 컴퓨터 등의 디지털 기기를 사용하여 기존에 한 방향으로만 이루어지던 기존의 스토리텔링방법의 한계점을 보환할 수 있고, 사용자가 직접 이야기의 진행 방향이나 방법 등을 선택할 수 있게 하여 이야기에 몰입도를 높일 수 있는 장점이 있다. 우리는 이러한 인터렉티브 디지털 스토리텔링에 마커와 멀티터치 스크린을 사용하였다. 사용자로 하여금 마커를 사용하여 현재 이야기 진행에 따른 흥미도를 선택하게 하고, 멀티터치 스크린을 통해 다양한 사용자 반응을 입력받아 이야기를 진행 할 수 있는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

The acquisition of advanced scientific and technological knowledge is essential for the economic and security interests of any nation. Major countries are actively accumulating capacities by strategically identifying and nurturing key technologies, aiming to gain a competitive advantage amidst internal and external environmental shifts and the global competition for technological dominance. By comparing and analyzing trends in strategic technology policies in leading countries, we may be able to understand Korea's technology status and level as well as identify technologies to focus or develop. Accordingly, this study scrutinizes policy trends, criteria for technology selection, objectives, and strategies adopted by major countries regarding strategic technologies and offers insights into Korea's technological development by means of comparative analyses across strategic technologies among these countries.
