  • Internet of Things Iranian people and things, things and things are connected through the Cloud. It can significantly save energy through a combination of LED lighting as a new ICT technologies and industry-to provide a human-centric, eco-friendly, and the content is embedded multifunction solutions that meet your needs, environment, implementation time according to user requirements, technology It can be systematized as converged next-generation lighting. In this paper, we have developed regarding whether the building in relation to the LED lighting control system using smart devices and Cloud-based user as a human connection through the board to the Arduino Yun lit LED lighting, wireless smart device or to the Cloud or off. After the Arduino Yun is connected to the Internet, taking the current date and time information from the Linux shell command used the way coming across the bridge (BRIDGE) its value.

  • 다양한 조명들이 있으며 각각의 조명에는 그 특성에 적합한 구동 회로가 필요하다. 구동 회로에서 조광 범위 조정은 최근 생활수준의 향상으로 인해 일반 가정 및 사무실에 각 구성원 간의 시력보호, 능률향상, 실내분위기 조성을 위하여 반드시 필요한 기능으로 부각되고 있다. 또한 에너지 절약을 위해 절전 기능을 강조함에 따라 필요한 곳에 필요한 밝기만 유지하여 주는 역할이 더욱 중요해 지고 있다. 최근에는 회로 구성이 쉽고 보호 기능 구현 및 제어가 간편한 MCU를 이용한 조명 제어가 도입되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 추세에 맞추어 기존의 형광등과 최근의 AC LED 구동용 제어 보드를 MCU를 이용하여 조광 범위 조정이 가능하게 각각 구현 하였다.

  • ATMega8535 Controller is the ideal solution for use as a standard controller in many applications. The small compact size combined with easy program updates and modifications, make it ideal for use in machinery and control systems, such as alarms, card readers, real-time monitoring applications and much more. This board is ideal as the brains of your robot or at the center of your home-monitoring system. Today, most drivers must use a parking place day by day. Therefore we make time shorten. Using above-mentioned ATmega8535, a sensor of infrared rays, led and lcd, we will make a parking system which is able to display parking situation and lead a car at the best position of Parking easily and quickly. Trying this project, we will be more closer to practical application of electronic engineering bit by bit.

  • In this study, we proposed WLED(White-Light Emitting Diode) driver IC for mobile applications. This IC drove WLED for mobile applications with low input voltage and high efficiency by using boost converter. The device was designed by using boost converter applied current-mode control algorithm and provided PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) & analog dimming. Designed IC consisted of bias block, drive block, control block, protection block. We confirmed this device worked well through a application PCB (Printed Circuit Board) test.

  • In this paper, we proposed the micro web-server Implementation on Strong ARM processor with embedded Linux. The parallel port connecting parallel I/O is controlled via HPPT protocol and web browser program. HTTP protocol is ported into Linux and the micro web server program and port control program are installed on-board memory using CGI to be accessed by web browser, such as Internet Explore and Netscape. 8bit LED and DIP switches are connected to the processor port and the switch input status is monitored and the LED output is controlled from remote hosts vie internet. The result of the proposed embedded micro-web server can be used in automation systems, remote distributed control via internet using web browser.

An Integrated Approach in the Pest Management in Sericulture

  • The success of sericulture industry in India is mainly attributed to the well-planned annual sericultural activity and the systematic implementation of pest preventive and control measures. The insect spectrum of silkworm and its food plants is complex and plays a major role in limiting the production of silk. Insects cause extensive damage to plant whereas predators and parasites either kill the silkworm larvae or force them to spin flimsy cocoons. Unilateral control measure against this pest is mainly based on the use of synthetic organic insecticides. Though these approaches initially paid rich dividends, the undesirable consequences soon surfaced. Insecticide induced resurgence of gall midges, leafhopper, leaf roller, secondary pest out breaks and development of pest biotypes has led to realization of Integrated Pest Management in sericulture. Various components of IPM, viz. Host plant resistance, cultural practices, biological control, chemical control and integrating them at various technological levels have been studied. Sources of host plant resistance have been identified for some of the major insect pests. High yielding mulberry variety has been propagated and their resistances towards major pests have been recorded. Cultural practices like pruning, pollarding, judicious use of nitrogen, optimum spacing and weed management have preyed to be the powerful tools in containing pests. Natural control over the pest population build- up exerted by the wide range of parasitoids, predators and pathogens has been well documented with identification of natural enemies and studies on their potential. Augmentation, through inoculation or inundative releases of parasitic arthropods, is the most direct way of increasing the numbers of these beneficials in sericulture.

LED driver IC design for BLU with current compensation and protection function (전류보상 및 보호 기능을 갖는 BLU용 LED Driver IC설계)

  • In recent years, as LED display systems are actively spread, study on effective control methods for an LED driver for driving the systems has been in progress. The most representative among them is the uniform brightness control method for the LED driver channel. In this paper, we propose an LED driver IC for BLU with current compensation and system protection functions to minimize channel luminance deviation. It is designed for current accuracy within ±3% between channels and a channel current of 150 mA. In order to satisfy the design specifications, the channel amplifier offset was canceled out by a chopping operation using a channel-driving PWM signal. Also, a pre-charge function was implemented to minimize the fast operation speed and luminance deviation between channels. LED error (open, short), switch TR short detection, and operating temperature protection circuits were designed to protect the IC and BLU systems. The proposed IC was fabricated using a Magnachip 0.35-um CMOS process and verified using Cadence and Synopsys' Design Tool. The fabricated LED driver IC has current accuracy within ±1.5% between channels and 150-mA channel output characteristics. The error detection circuits were verified by a test board.

Implementation of a BLU system for advertisements using a LED and Acryl (LED와 아크릴을 이용한 광고용 BLU 시스템 구현)

  • This paper has proposed and experimentally demonstrated a new BLU using an LED and an acryl, which is specially focused on the implementation about the guiding effect of an acryl luminous by the LED. While the conventional BLU using a fluorescent lamp is generally and widely used, it shows big power consumption with a short life even more too thick to hold on the wall. To solve such demerits, we propose a new method for a BLU using an LED and an acryl in this paper. This BLU system has various scratches on the surface of acryl to get diffusion effect of light, and has been included an embedded board that can dynamically control the colors and the intensity of the BLU through the Internet. We have conducted computer simulations to find out the optimal scratch pattern on the surface of the acryl for the backlight system. Based on the resulted out simulation. The the optimal scratch pattern signs has been developed. The simulation result shows 2,673Lux an average for a luminous intensity test, and the other hand, experiential result shows 2,554Lux. From the experiments, it is possible for the proposed BLU system to be used for real advertisements.

  • Sensing module of standing and moving human body using shutter method was developed. The module consists of Fresnel lens, pyroelectric infrared (PIR) sensor, interface circuit of the PIR, micro control unit(MCU), and alarm light emitting diode(LED). The principle for standing human body is chopping the thermal of human body using camera shutter. The human sensing signal in MCU by algorithm of interrupt function is detected. By unifying an apparatus and print circuit board(PCB), the developed module can be replaced as commercial moving human body detector. Experiment results show that sensing distance is about 7.0m and sensing angles is about $110^{\circ}$ at room temperature. In these condition, sending ratio was 100% and the power dissipation of the module was 100mW.

  • This study develops a wearable solar energy harvesting device that absorbs solar energy to generate and store power which can be used during outdoor activities by users even after dark. For this study, a prototype hat for outdoor activities at night was developed after the design of a solar energy harvesting generation, storage, and delivery system was designed that could store energy to light up LEDs. First, the main control board of the system was designed to integrate the charging function, the darkness detection circuit, the battery voltage sensing circuit, and the LED driving circuit in order to reduce bulkiness and minimize the connection structure. It was designed to increase convenience. Second, the system was designed as a wearable fashion product that connected each part with fiber bands and manufacturing it so as to be detachable from the hat. Third, charging and LED operation tests show that the battery is fully charged after 5 hours even in winter when the illuminance value is low. In addition, the LED operation experiment verified the effectiveness of a buffered system that could operate the LEDs for about 3 hours at night.
