Wireless Power Transfer for Electric Vehicles Charging Based on Hybrid Topology Switching With a Single Inverter

  • In wireless power transfer (WPT) system, the conventional compensation topologies only can provide a constant current (CC) or constant voltage (CV) output under their resonant conditions. It is difficult to meet the CC and CV hybrid charging requirements without any other schemes. In this study, a switching hybrid topology (SHT) is proposed for CC and CV electric vehicle (EV) battery charging. By utilizing an additional capacitor and two AC switches (ACSs), a double-side LCC (DS-LCC) and an inductor and double capacitors-series (LCC-S) topologies are combined. According to the specified CC and CV charging profile, the CC and CV charging modes can be flexibly converted by the two additional ACSs. In addition, zero phase angle (ZPA) also can be achieved in both charging modes. In this method, because the operating frequency is fixed, without using PWM control, and only a small number of devices are added, it has the benefits of low-cost, easy-controllability and high efficiency. A 3.3-kW experimental prototype is configured to verify the proposed switching hybrid charger. The maximum DC efficiencies (at 3.3-kW) of the proposed SHT is 92.58%.

대도시 혼잡구간의 아스팔트 포장에 대한 경제성 분석 모델 연구 (A Study on the Economical Analysis Model for Asphalt Pavementin Congestion Area of Metropolitan)

  • 본 연구는 대도시 아스팔트 포장에 대한 포장공법에 대한 LCC 분석모델 개발 및 VE 평가에 관한 연구로 대도시 포장의 공용연수 동안에 발생하는 총 생애주기비용을 고려하여, 지역 특성과 교통량 등 포장의 수명에 영향을 주는 인자에 대해 보다 효율적으로 대처할 수 있는 포장공법 선정에 대한 의사 결정을 지원하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 우리나라의 대표적 대도시라고 할 수 있는 서울시의 관련 자료를 토대로 LCC 분석모델을 개발하였고, 관련 실무자의 의견을 반영하여 VE 평가를 실시하였다. LCC 분석모델 개발은 포장공법별로 공통되는 비용항목을 제외한 포장공법 선정에 직접적으로 영향을 주는 비용항목으로 구성하였으며, 이렇게 개발된 LCC 분석모델을 서울시에 현재 공용중인 사례 대상노선을 선정하여 적용해 그 타당성을 검토하였다. 분석에 사용되는 비용항목의 근거자료는 서울시 통계자료와 단가산출 기준자료 등을 이용하여 분석의 신뢰성을 높였다. 개발된 LCC 분석 모델은 대도시 아스팔트 포장에 국한적으로 사용되고 있는 개질 아스팔트와 재생 아스팔트를 일반아스팔트와 비교 분석하여 대도시의 지역 특성과 교통량 등을 고려한 최적 포장공법의 선정을 지원할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

폐질환 진단을 위한 잡음환경에 강건한 폐음 패턴 분류법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Robust Pattern Classification of Lung Sounds for Diagnosis of Pulmonary Dysfunction in Noise Environment)

  • In this paper, a robust pattern classification of breath sounds for the diagnosis of pulmonary dysfunction in noise environment is proposed. The feature parameter extraction method by highpass lifter algorithm and PM(projection measure) algorithm are used. 17 different groups of breath sounds are experimentally classified and investigated. The classification has been performed by 6 different types of combinations with proposed methods to evaluate the performances, such as ARC with EDM and LCC with EDM, WLCC with EDM, ARC with PM, LCC with PM, WLCC with PM. Furthermore, all feature parameters are extracted to 80th orders by 5th orders step, and all experiments are evaluated in increasing noise environments by degrees SNR 24dB to 0dB. As a results, WLCC which is derived from highpass lifter algorithm, is selected for the feature parameter extraction method. Pm is more robust than EDM in noisy environments to test and compare experimental results. WLCC with PM method(WLCC/PM) has a better performance in an increasing noise environment for diagnosis of pulmonary dysfunction.

LCA 및 LCC를 고려한 환경친화적 리모델링의 평가방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Method of Green Remodeling Considering LCA and LCC)

  • This study aims to presents Evaluation Method of Green Remodeling that analyze the value of environment through expense, using the method of life cycle cost and life cycle assessment simultaneously. The results of this study are summarized as follows. Evaluation Model developed in this study can convert economical value of environment into cost by integrating. In addition, the model can apply as a useful tool to estimation of economical design alternative as well as quantification of environmental loads and costs. Evaluation Model presented In this study observe energy consumption and the environmental load emission with qualification, it can forecast effect of environmental cost that cost estimation is expected to be added to energy cost rate by being possible. Synthetically, when Estimation Model and computer program that developed in this study is applies to the construction industry; reasonable management of environmental load is convenient at each step of Green Remodeling. In addition, at preliminary design phase, practical use may be possible by reasonable yardstick about various alternatives and improvement of design alternatives likewise by grasping environmental effect.

제주계통의 전압조정을 위한 MMC-HVDC 시스템 응용 (Application of MMC-HVDC System for Regulating Grid Voltage Based on Jeju Island Power System)

  • This paper presents a control method of the modular multilevel converter - high-voltage direct current (MMC-HVDC) system to regulate grid voltage on the basis of the Jeju Island power system. In this case, the MMC-HVDC system is controlled as a static synchronous compensator (Statcom) to exchange the reactive power with the power grid. The operation of the MMC-HVDC system is verified by using the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation program. The Jeju Island power system is first established on the basis of the parameters and measured data from the real Jeju Island power system. This power system consists of two line-commutated converter - high-voltage direct current (LCC-HVDC) systems, two Statcom systems, wind farms, thermal power plants, transformers, and transmission and distribution lines. The proposed control method is then applied by replacing one LCC-HVDC system with a MMC-HVDC system. Simulation results with and without using the MMC-HVDC system are compared to evaluate the effectiveness of the control method.

LCC-LCA 통합 분석에 의한 친환경 건설기술 평가방법 (Evaluation Method of Green Construction Technologies Using Integrated LCC and LCA Analysis)

  • 건물의 생애주기 동안 사용되는 자원과 에너지를 절약하기 위한 친환경 기술들의 개발이 점차 확대되고 있다. 이러한 수많은 친환경 기술을 건축물에 무분별하게 적용하는 것은 많은 비용과 시간을 필요로 한다. 따라서 친환경 기술을 선택적으로 건축물에 적용하기 위한 위선순위 선정이 필요하다. 이러한 친환경 기술의 우선순위 선정을 위해선 친환경 기술의 경제적 가치를 정확히 파악하는 것이 중요하지만 현재는 친환경 기술의 정확한 경제적 가치를 분석하지 못하고 있다. 친환경 기술은 건물의 생애주기 동안 $CO_2$ 배출량을 감소시키고 투입되는 비용을 감소시키는데 목적이 있으며, 따라서 이러한 친환경 기술의 가치 평가 시 경제적 요소뿐만이 아닌 환경적 요소도 함께 고려되어야 한다. 본 연구는 친환경 기술의 경제적 가치를 종합적으로 판단할 수 있는 LCC-LCA 통합 경제성 분석방법을 활용하여 친환경 기술의 가치평가를 실시하고, 이를 사례에 적용하여 그 타당성을 검증하고자 하였다. Case study 결과, 친환경 기술은 경제적 요소와 환경적 요소가 함께 고려되어야 더욱 가치가 높아졌다. 그리고 우선순위 분석에서는 친환경 지능형 컴포넌트 기술이 가장 높은 순위로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 발주자가 프로젝트 기획 시 건축물에 적용할 친환경 기술의 선정을 위한 의사결정에 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 향후 개발되는 다른 친환경 기술의 우선순위 도출을 위한 선행연구로 활용될 것이다. 또한 친환경 기술의 평가항목은 본 연구의 평가항목 이외에 추가적인 항목들이 존재할 수 있으므로, 향후 이러한 평가항목들을 선정하여 경제성 평가 시 활용한다면 보다 정확한 평가를 수행할 수 있을 것이다.

친환경 도로노선의 재해위험도 평가시스템 개발 (Development of Disaster Risk Analysis System for Environment Friendly Road)

  • PURPOSES: This study is to investigate the consideration which relates with a disaster from route alignment process and proposed the method it will be able to evaluate a disaster danger fixed quantity. METHODS: Use the landslide disaster probabilistic map of GIS based and in about landslide occurrence of the route alignment at the time of neighboring area after evaluating a risk fixed quantity, it compared LCC expense in about each alternative route. It developed the system it will be able to analyze a LCC and a disaster risk in about the alternative route. In order to verify a risk analytical algorithm and the system which are developed it selected national road 59 lines on the demonstrative route and it analyzed a disaster risk. RESULTS: Demonstrative route not only the disaster risk to be it will be able to compare a disaster risk fixed quantity like the economical efficiency degree in compliance with LCC expense productions it compared and there being the designer will be able to decide the alternative route, it confirmed. CONCLUSIONS: Roads can be designed by considering occurs repeatedly landslides and debris flow caused by disasters in advance and expect to be able to effect that can reduce the overall cost to recover losses caused by the disaster, and temporally loss is expected.

히트 펌프 냉난방 시스템의 실사용을 통한 경제성 분석 (Economic Analysis of Heat Pump System through Actual Operation)

  • The present study has been conducted economic analysis through actual operation of EHP and GHP which are installed at the same building of an university Cost items, such as initial cost, annual energy cost and maintenance cost of each system are considered to analyze LCC and economical efficiency is compared. The initial cost is considered on the basis of actual costs, and annual energy cost is converted into the cost after measuring electricity and gas consumption a day. LCC applied present value method is used to assess economical efficiency of both them. Variables used to LCC analysis are electricity cost escalation rate, natural gas cost escalation rate, interest rate, and service lives and when each of them are 4%, 2%, 8%, and 20 years, results of analysis short that EHP(148,257,306 won) is 8.05%(12,981,990 won) more profitable than GHP(161,239,295 won).

  • 본 논문에서는 SEPP-LCC형 부하 공진 고주파 인버터의 한 회로형식을 제안하고, 그 동작원리에 관해서 명확히 하였다. 제안한 인버터는 스위칭 소자 양단에 병렬로 커패시터를 추가함으로써 스위칭 소자의 턴-온과 턴-오프시에 발생하는 스위칭 손실, 노이즈, 스트레스 등을 줄일 수 있다. 범용성 있는 회로해석을 위하여 무차원화 파라미터를 도입하였고, 동작특성 및 평가를 통하여 얻은 특성치를 이용하여 회로를 설계하였다. 또한, 실험을 통하여 이론해석의 정당성을 입증하였다.

Economic Evaluation of LED Luminaires for Tunnel Interior Zones

  • There has been a need for the systematic evaluation of the economic efficiency between conventional fluorescent lamp lighting systems that have been used in tunnels and LED lighting systems. This study has evaluated basic tunnel lighting between the conventional fluorescent lighting systems and the LED lighting system using the evaluation tool of tunnel lighting by Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and using the economic efficiency evaluation method. In addition, the unit discount rate of the LED lighting system and the estimated increase in the price of electricity have made the estimated cost of LCC the same if two luminaires were used in the basic part of the tunnel.
