MZR을 이용한 2.4 GHz WiFi 대역 소형 단말기 안테나 설계 (Design of Miniaturization Terminal Antenna for 2.4 GHz WiFi Band with MZR)

  • 본 논문에서는 MZR을 사용하여 2.4GHz WiFi대역에서 동작하는 온 보드(on-board) 초소형 안테나를 구현하였다. 설계한 안테나는 소형 단말기 PCB의 크기가 $78{\times}38{\times}0.8mm^3$이며, 시스템의 크기는 $63{\times}38{\times}0.8mm^3$이고, 방사부의 크기는 $15{\times}38{\times}0.8mm^3$인 제한조건에서 동작하는 초소형 안테나를 구현하였다. 급전구조는 시스템 보드의 좌측 상단에 급전 점을 설정하고, 안정적인 급전을 위해 CPW구조를 사용하였고, 급전부와 안테나의 결합은 자계결합구조를 사용하였다. MZR의 공진주파수는 직렬 커패시터와 셀의 인덕턴스에 의해서 결정됨으로 셀 사이의 갭, 셀의 길이, 인터디지털(interdigital) 커패시터의 길이, 방사부와 접지면의 간격에 대하여 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 사용하여 안테나를 설계 제작하였다. 제작한 안테나는 급전구조를 포함한 안테나의 전체크기는 $20.8{\times}9.0{\times}0.8mm^3$이며, 전기적인 길이는 $0.1664{\lambda}_0{\times}0.072{\lambda}_0{\times}0.0064{\lambda}_0$이다. 측정결과 10 dB 대역폭, 이득과 방향성은 각각 440 MHz(18.3%), 0.4405 dB, 2.722 dB이다. 방사패턴은 전 방향 특성을 가지고 있음을 확인하였으며, 초소형 단말기 안테나에 적용할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

LPG 엔진에서 수소첨가에 따른 배기 성능과 열효율에 미치는 영향 (Effects of hydrogen-enriched LPG fuelled engine on exhaust emission and thermal efficiency)

  • The purpose of study is to obtain low-emission and high-efficiency in LPG engine with hydrogen enrichment. The test engine was named heavy-duty variable compression ratio single cylinder engine (VCSCE). The fuel supply system provides LPG/hydrogen mixtures based on same heating value. Various sensors such as crank shaft position sensor (CPS) and hall sensor supply spark timing data to ignition controller. Displacement of VCSCE is $1858.2cm^3$. VCSCE was runned 1400rpm with compression ratio 8. Spark timing was set MBT without knocking. Relative air-fuel ratio(${\lambda}$) of this work was varied between 0.76 and 1.5. As a result, i) Maximum thermal efficiency occurred at ${\lambda}$ value 1.0. It was shown that thermal efficiency was increased approximately 5% with hydrogen enrichment at same ${\lambda}$ value. ii) Engine-out carbon monoxide (CO) emissions were decreased at a great rate under LPG/hydrogen mixture fuelling. iii) Total hydrocarbon (THC) emission was much exhausted in rich zone, same as CO. But THC was exhausted a little bit more in lean zone. iv) Finally, engine-out oxides of nitrogen (NOx) was increased with ${\lambda}$ value 1.0 zone at a greater rate with hydrogen enrichment due to high adiabatic flame temperature.

Pivalic Acid-Ethanol 및 Succinonitrile-Salol 계에서의 수지상정 선단의 형상 (Dendrite Tip Shapes of Pivalic Acid-Ethanol and Succinonitrile-Salol Systems)

  • The shape of a dendrite tip has long been approximated by a paraboloid of revolution, but many attempts have been made as well to more accurately match the dendrite tip profile using other mathematical functions: power function, 4th order polynomial, and hyperbolic function. In the present work, dendrite tip shapes were matched by parabolic function. The differences between the dendrite tip shapes of pivalic acid(PVA)-ethanol(Eth) and succinonitrile(SCN)-salol systems, characterized by anisotropic and isotropic solid-liquid interfacial properties, respectively, were quantitatively treated using shape parameters. The PVA-Eth system showed a slightly higher Z/R value than the SCN-salol system, their Z/R values lying in the range 2-4. (Z is the distance from the tip beyond which the parabolic fit starts to deviate from the profile, and R the tip radius.) ${\lambda}_P$ is the distance from the tip beyond which side branching starts to appear, and is larger in the PVA-Eth system than the SCNsalol system. ${\lambda}_P$ is different for both sides of the 2-dimensional dendrite profile. The difference of ${\lambda}_P$ between both sides of the dendrite is larger for PVA-Eth system than for SCN-salol, implying that the dendrite of PVA-Eth is less symmetric than that of SCN-salol.

평판형 전개판의 3차원 운동 모델링 (Modeling of flat otter boards motion in three dimensional space)

  • Otter boards in the trawl are the one of essential equipments for the net mouth to be spread to the horizontal direction. Its performance should be considered in the light of the spreading force to the drag and the stability of towing in the water. Up to the present, studies of the otter boards have focused mainly on the drag and lift force, but not on the stability of otter boards movement in 3 dimensional space. In this study, the otter board is regarded as a rigid body, which has six degrees of freedom motion in three dimensional coordinate system. The forces acting on the otter boards are the underwater weight, the resistance of drag and spread forces and the tension on the warps and otter pendants. The equations of forces were derived and substituted into the governing equations of 6 degrees of freedom motion, then the second order of differential equations to the otter boards were established. For the stable numerical integration of this system, Backward Euler one of implicit methods was used. From the results of the numerical calculation, graphic simulation was carried out. The simulations were conducted for 3 types of otter boards having same area with different aspect ratio(${\lambda}=0.5,\;1.0,\;1.5$). The tested gear was mid-water trawl and the towing speed was 4k't. The length of warp was 350m and all conditions were same to each otter board. The results of this study are like this; First, the otter boards of ${\lambda}=1.0$ showed the longest spread distance, and the ${\lambda}=0.5$ showed the shorted spread distance. Second, the otter boards of ${\lambda}=1.0$ and 1.5 showed the upright at the towing speed of 4k't, but the one of ${\lambda}=0.5$ heeled outside. Third, the yawing angles of three otter boards were similar after 100 seconds with the small oscillation. Fourth, it was revealed that the net height and width are affected by the characteristics of otter boards such as the lift coefficient.

대형 뉴매틱케이슨의 주면마찰력 산정 (Evaluation of Skin Friction to Large Size Pneumatic Caissons)

  • 본 연구에서는 현재까지 연구된 깊은 기초의 주면마찰력 산정법에 의해 제안된 방법들을 검토하여 대형기초인 케이슨(우물통)기초에 대하여 주면마찰력을 적절히 산정할 수 있는 산정법을 제시하였다. 특히 홍원표(1987)가 제안안 주면마찰력 산정법을 기본 토대로 하여 새로운 주면마찰력 산정방법(Kn계수법)을 제시하였다. 그리고 깊은기초인 말뚝의 주면마찰력을 합리적으로 산정할 수 있다고 알려진 $\lambda$법을 이용한 케이슨의 주면마찰력 산정에 대해서도 검토하였다. 이를 위해 영종대교 주탑하부구조인 뉴매틱케이슨 기초의 시공시 계측된 주면마찰력 데이터를 이용하였다. 주면마찰력은 침설속도에 비례하며 주면마찰력의 분포양상은 직선분포보다 포물선분포에 가깝다. 저부가 확대되는 대규모 케이슨기초 침설시 발생하는 주면마찰력 산정결과 일반적인 말뚝기초의 주면마찰력과는 상이하다. 제안된 Kn계수법과 $\lambda$법을 각각 사용하여 산정한 케이슨의 주면마찰력을 실제 케이슨의 계측값으로부터 산정한 주면마찰력과 비교한 결과, Kn계수법를 이용하여 산정한 케이슨의 주면마찰력은 $\lambda$법에 의해 산정된 주면마찰력보다 실측값에 훨씬 근접하다. 즉, 저부가 확대된 형상의 대형의 케이슨기초의 주면마찰력을 산정하기에는 홍원표가 제안한 식을 이용한 Kn계수법이 $\lambda$법보다 더 적절한 방법임을 알 수 있다.

MULTIPLICITY RESULTS FOR NONLINEAR SCHRÖDINGER-POISSON SYSTEMS WITH SUBCRITICAL OR CRITICAL GROWTH

  • In this paper, we consider the following $Schr{\ddot{o}}dinger$-Poisson system: $$\{\begin{array}{lll}-{\Delta}u+u+{\lambda}{\phi}u={\mu}f(u)+{\mid}u{\mid}^{p-2}u,\;\text{ in }{\Omega},\\-{\Delta}{\phi}=u^2,\;\text{ in }{\Omega},\\{\phi}=u=0,\;\text{ on }{\partial}{\Omega},\end{array}$$ where ${\Omega}$ is a smooth and bounded domain in $\mathbb{R}^3$, $p{\in}(1,6]$, ${\lambda}$, ${\mu}$ are two parameters and $f:\mathbb{R}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ is a continuous function. Using some critical point theorems and truncation technique, we obtain three multiplicity results for such a problem with subcritical or critical growth.

  • We derive the arbitrary time point system size distribution of M/ $G^{B}$1 queue in which late arrivals are not allowed to join the on-going service. The distribution is given by P(z) = $P_{4}$(z) $S^{*}$ (.lambda.-.lambda.z) where $P_{4}$ (z) is the probability generating function of the queue size and $S^{*}$(.theta.) is the Laplace-Stieltjes transform of the service time distribution function. We also derive the distribution of the service siez at arbitrary point of time. time.

  • Recently, a new version of expansiveness which is closely attached to some certain weak version of hyperbolicity was given for $C^1$ vector fields as following: a $C^1$ vector field X will be called rescaling expansive on a compact invariant set ${\Lambda}$ of X if for any ${\epsilon}$ > 0 there is ${\delta}$ > 0 such that, for any $x,\;y{\in}{\Lambda}$ and any time reparametrization ${\theta}:{\mathbb{R}}{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{R}}$, if $d({\varphi}_t(x),\,{\varphi}_{{\theta}(t)}(y)){\leq}{\delta}{\parallel}X({\varphi}_t(x)){\parallel}$ for all $t{\in}{\mathbb{R}}$, then ${\varphi}_{{\theta}(t)}(y){\in}{\varphi}_{(-{\epsilon},{\epsilon})}({\varphi}_t(x))$ for all $t{\in}{\mathbb{R}}$. In this paper, some equivalent definitions for rescaled expansiveness are given.

ArF PLD System을 사용한 YBCO 박막과 STO/YBCO 박막의 제작 (Deposition of YBCO and STO/YBCO thin films using ArF PLD system)

  • Instead of using KrF excimer lasers( ${\lambda}$ = 248 nm) in depositing oxide thin films, as in the most of the laboratories in Korea, we have used an ArF excimer laser( ${\lambda}$ = 197 nm) which has a shorter wavelength. By using a beam which has a shorter wavelength, we could obtain higher quality and smoother surface YBCO thin films. We fabricated YBCO thin films with the various substrate temperature conditions and analyzed the characteristics of these films. We also studied the charateristics of the films fabricated under the various conditions of the power of laser and the oxygen pressure. The characterization tools used in this work were a transport measurement setup, an XRD , and a SEM. We also fabricated STO/YBCO multilayers to use in SFQ devices fabrication. XRD patterns of the multilayers showed that the multilayer films were grown epitaxially.
