  • The concepts of mounting a pressuremeter module behind a cone penetrometer was applied in the early 1980s. The pressuremeter module is of 40mm diameter with length / diameter ratio of 10 inflated by nitrogen gas. This cone pressuremeter(CPM) is used to obtain the ground characteristics consisted of mainly silty, clay and sand. Field tests such as SPT, PMT, Vane tests are also carried out to understand the ground condition. Undisturbed samples are obtained to carried out Lah tests. The results of these field and lab tests are presented, discussed in detail, and compared with each others.

  • 본 연구는 지적도면의 효율적인 3차원 위치정보를 구축하기 위하여 수치지도로부터 표고자료를 추출한 후 Kriging, TIN, IDW 보간기법을 적용하여 보간기법별 수치표고모델을 제작하였다. 구축된 수치표고모델를 이용하여 각각의 수치정사영상을 생성하고 수치지적도면과의 중첩 기법을 적용하여 평면위치(x, y)는 연속지적도 상에서 획득하고 높이값(z)은 수치정사영상상에서 획득 지적도면의 3차원 좌표를 구축하였다. 수치지도 DEM을 활용한 지적도면의 3차원 위치정보 구축을 위한 효율적이고 경제적인 방안을 제시하였다.

  • In order to develop SOFC cell performance, many kind of things were investigated. Electrode microstructure is the one of them therefore we focus on electrodes fabrication easily and efficiently. We can fabricate electrodes easily with Pt using DC magnetron sputtering and sintering. However sputtering is difficult to handle and to grow porous electrodes what we require. On the other hand sintering is much easier than sputtering to make porous and adhesive electrodes. So in this paper we deal with sintering and optimize to deposit electrodes conditions by analyzing electrode microstructure with sacnning electron microscopy(SEM) micrograph. Also, we compare electrochemical performance of cells fabricated by sputtering and sintering.

  • Recently by the development of the electronic engineering technology various mobile devices are developed. But their operation time need to be extended although capacity of the batteries are limited. We focused our attention to the portable SOFC system. Because SOFC has the high efficiency and a lot of strongness in comparison with other kinds of fuel cells, We evaluated hydrogen fed SOFC 50W system theoretically and got the results about the operating condition range from the comparison of the power efficiency, exhaust gas temperature, required heat for maintaining the operation temperature and operation time.

  • The effects and the optimum manufacturing conditions for the preparation of synthetic aluminum silicate which has acid-consuming power and adsorbing capacity were investigated. The results are as follows: 1. The adsorbing capacity was affected by the mixing order of the reactants, that is, the excellent ones were obtained by the method which add the sodium silicate solution to the potassium alum solution. 2. Even though preparing by the bane manufacturing condition, the acid-consuming power is superior to the adsorbing capacity. 3. According to the Box-Wilson Plan, the optimum reaction conditions are concentration of sodium silicate solution; 38% w/w, settling time; 43 hours at room temperature, drying time; 13 hours at $110^{\circ}C$.

  • The hexanuclear metallamacrocycles were observed repeatedly in various conditions including the presence of several different tricationic metal ions in the macrocyclic ring system and of the linear alkyl chains at the acyl site of N-acylsalicylhydrazide ligand, which contrasts to the formation of the decanuclear metallamacrocycle with bulkier side chains such as phenyl group at the acyl site of the ligand. We synthesized a series of metallamacrocycles in various solvents to find the relationship between the solvents and the nuclearity of the metallamacrocycles. Whether the solvents are sterically more demanding or not, the complexes formed kept the hexanuclear metallamacrocycle system.

  • Bovine serum albumin microspheres containing cytarabine were prepared using cross-linking agent, formaldehyde. The shape and the size distribution of them were observed. The shape of them was spherical and the susrface was compact and smooth. The size distribution of them was affected by dispersion forces during emulsfication. The release of cytarabine from albumin microspheres was dependent upon cross-linking time, amount of cross-linking agent and drug/albumin ratio. However, the difference of drug release by the dispersion forces was not great. After release test, the shape of albumin microspheres was nonspherical and the albumin matrix seemed to be a little relaxed. The degradation tests of albumin microspheres by the proteolytic enzyme showed that albumin microspheres were progressively digested according to the cross-linking degree.

  • An automatic remote water measurement system was developed. This system sends automatic remote measured and collected water meters data automatically from the transmitter with CDMA modem through SK-Telecom network The water meter data are received through LAH TCP/IP and displayed as test file on IE(Internet Explorer) window. The existing water meters of mechanical type have so many problems to measure data. The person must visit the location of each water meters and write down the data records manually. In this system the RF module has attached each water meter Client/Server programs are developed by network socket programming.

  • In the light of quality comparison the ratio of panaxadiol and panaxatriol contents was assayed in the extract of various ginseng products, whose origin of production and species of the original plants are different. Aglycone compositions of other ginsengs were not comparable with Korean ginseng in their ratio of panaxadiol and panaxatriol contents of dammarane glycosides.
