  • Dynamic loading of structures often causes excursions of stresses will into the inelastic range and the influence of geometry changes on the response is also significant in may cases. In general , the shell structures designed according to quasi-Static analysis may collapse under condition of dynamic loading. Therefore, for a more realistic prediction on the lad carrying capacity of these shell. both material and geometric nonlinear effects should be considered. In this study , the material nonlinearity effect on the dynamic response is formulated by the elasto-viscoplastic model highly corresponding to the real behavior of the material. Also, the geometrically nonlinear behavior is taken into account using a Total Lagrangian formulation. the reinforcing bars are modeled by the equivalent steel layer at the location of reinforcements, and Von Mises yield criteria is adopted for the steel layer behavior. Also, Drucker-Prager yield criteria is applied for the behavior of concrete. the shape imperfection of dome is assumed as 'dimple type' which can be expressed Wd1=Wd0(1-(r-a)m)n while the shape imperfection of wall is assumed as sinusoidal curve which is Wwi =Wwo sin(n $\pi$y/l). In numerical test, three cases of shape imperfection of 0.0 -5.0cm(opposite direction to loading ; inner shape imperfection)and 5cm (direction to loading : outward shape imperfection) and thickness of steel layer determined by steel ratio of 0,3, and 5% were analyzed. The effect of shape imperfection and steel ratio and behavior characteristics of perfect shape shell and imperfect shape shell are identified through analysis of above mentioned numerical test. Dynamic behaviors of dome and wall according toe combination of shape imperfection and steel ratio are also discussed in this paper.

  • Microstructural basis for the thermal degradation of electrodeposited black chrome "solar-L-foil" heated in air has been investigated using scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive x-ray analysis, X-ray diffraction techniques and UV-VIS-NIR spectre-photometer. Experimental result, the change in the shape of the particle comprising the film from their initial needle like structure to a more spherical shape with an oxide after 1hr annealing at $600^{\circ}C$ has been observed. The effect is to degrade solar absorptance of the thin film.

LNG배관에 존재하는 균열에 대한 응력확대계수 해석 (An Analysis of Stress Intensity Factor for Presented Crack in L.N.G. Piping)

  • This paper describes an analysis of the stress intensity factor (SIF) of the presented cracks in LNG piping. The stress analysis used the Finite Element Method. The stress Intensity factor calculated Raju & Newmann equation and ASME Section XI method. The cracks in the flanges are found to be influenced by temperature, but the cracks of the piping are found not to be influenced by temperature. If the cracks shape in the flanges and the cracks shape of the piping are same each other, the cracks in the flange will be dangerous more than the cracks of the piping.

L1-norm 기반 이산 극좌표에서의 영상처리 (Image processing in a discrete polar coordinate system based on L1-norm)

  • 본 논문에서는 L1-norm 기반 이산 극좌표에서의 방사형 영상처리 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 위를 위하여, 먼저 L2-norm 기반 극좌표는 이산 시스템에서 존재할 수 없음을 확인하였고, Cartesian 좌표를 이산 극좌표로 변환하는 기법을 개발하였다. 제안된 방법을 유방암 영상의 안정화와 극도의 무정형 물체 경계 탐지에 적용한다. Cartesian 좌표계에서 수행된 Gaussian 필터링 방법과 비교하여, 제안된 방법은 전반적인 방사형 mass 영상을 유지하는 동안 영상 신호를 안정화했다. 기존의 경계 탐지기가 무정형 물체의 모양을 정확하게 찾을 수 없는 반면, 제안된 경계 탐지 기법은 높은 정밀도로 탐지해낸다. 본 논문은 또한, 홍채 영상 분리 기법에의 응용과 좋은 검증 결과를 갖게 되었다.

DNA가 봉입된 Poly(D,L-lactic-co-glycolic acid) 미립구의 제조 및 시험관내 방출 (Preparation and In Vitro Release of DNA-Loaded Poly(D,L-lactic-co-glycolic acid) Microspheres)

  • 비바이러스성 유전자 전달체의 주요 단점인 낮은 transfection 효율에 기인한 반복투여 등을 극복하기 위하여 poly (D,L-lactide-co-glycolide)를 이용하여 DNA가 봉입된 미립구를 제조하였다. pDNA 그 자체 또는 여러 비율의 키토산/pDNA 복합체를 사용하여 봉입하였고, 그 결과 44%(pDNA 그 자체), 5%(0.7:1 미토산/pDNA 복합체), 그리고 8%(1:1 키토산/pDNA 복합체)의 봉입효율을 나타내었다. 주사전자현미경(SEM)을 통해 본 표면구조에서는 미립구 제조 직후에서는 매우 매끈한 구형을 보이다가 제조 후 41일 경에는 찌그러진 다공성의 구조를 보였는데 이는 미립구 제조에 사용한 poly(D,L-lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA) 고분자의 분해에 의한 것으로 생각된다. 시험관내 방출실험에서는 0.7:1 키토산/pDNA 복합체를 사용한 미립구에서 47%의 pDNA가 26일만에 방출된데 반해, pDNA 그 자체 혹은 1:1 키토산/pDNA 복합체를 사용한 미립구에서는 각각 15% 혹은 32%의 pDNA 방출을 나타내었다.

폴리머 층 전사 및 처짐 현상을 이용한 곡선 형태의 PMMA 나노채널 제작 (Curve-typed PMMA Nanochannel Fabrication using Polymer Layer Transfer and Collapse Technique)

  • We present a simple and low-cost method to fabricate poly(methyl-methacrylate) (PMMA) nanochannels with various shapes by combining the standard optical lithography with a PMMA layer transfer and collapse technique. We utilized PMMA membrane reflowing/collapsing phenomena into microchannels to fabricate nanochannels at both corners of arbitrarily-shaped microchannels. This allows nanochannels with various shapes such as curved nanochannels as well as straight nanochannels to be easily fabricated since the shape of the microchannel determines the shape of the nanochannels. This nanochannel fabrication method is simple, flexible, and low-cost since the standard optical lithography with low-resolution optical masks can be used to fabricate nanoscale channels as small as 100 nm wide with various shapes. Also, the sealing of nanochannels can be naturally achieved while the nanochannels are formed through the polymer layer transfer and collapse.

이중 동축 확산화염의 형상 및 배출 특성 (Measurement of soot concentration in flames using laser-induced incandescence method)

  • An experimental study on double-concentric diffusion flame has been carried out in order to investigate the shape, the flame length, and the other characteristics of the flame. Flow visualization of the flame by the $TiO_2$ particles and also the emission measurements are conducted. The commercial grade LP gases are used as fuel. The inverse diffusion flames are formed at the center when the central air flow rate is about 0.1 L/min. With a larger flow rate of the central air jet than 0.2 L/min the flame turns to be an annular-shaped flame, which is very bright. When the central air flow rate increases over 2.4 L/min, the flame turns to blue and the flame tips are opened because of the lifting of the inner part of the flame. Because of this lifting and the incomplete combustion, the CO emission increases abruptly from 25 ppm to more than 150 ppm. On the contrary, the NOx emission is decreased.

GPS 수신기를 위한 모델 기반 다중경로 신호 추정 기법 (A Model-Based Multipath Estimation Technique for GPS Receivers)

  • Multipath remains a dominant source of ranging errors in GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System). And it is generally considered undesirable in the context of GNSS, since the reception of multipath can make significant distortion to the shape of the correlation function. In this paper, therefore, the model of the distorted shape of the correlation function is formulated and a MBME (Model-Based Multipath Estimation) technique for GPS L1/L5 receivers is proposed in order to estimate the parameters of the indirect signal such as the amplitude and the delay. The MBME technique does not require the any hardware modifications and it can estimate the parameters for both the short and long-delay multipath. Especially, it would be the very effective technique for the short-delay multipath if the L5 signal is available. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed technique has been confirmed by simulation results.

머신비전을 이용한 타원형 기어 검사 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Elliptical Gear Inspection System Using Machine Vision)

  • 타원형 기어는 오발 유량계에 사용되는 특수기어로써 타원형 모양에 의해 생긴 공간으로 물을 흘려보내 계측한다. 본 연구의 목적은 타원형 기어의 가공정도를 판단하고 불량을 가려내는 시스템을 머신비전을 이용하여 개발하는 것이다. 각종 산업분야에서 자동화가 확산되면서 머신미전의 수요는 늘고 있으며 업계전반의 생산공정 중 검사 공정에서 빼놓을 수 없는 인자가 되었다. 하지만 머신비전을 이용한 기어측정은 기어의 형상이 복잡하다는 이유로 잘 사용되지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 머신비전을 이용한 검사 프로그램으로 타원형 기어의 측정이 가능함을 보였으며 본 연구에서 설계한 타원형 기어의 가공정도를 판단할 수 있었다.
