This paper proposes the effective compensation method fur the IR lamp deterioration in NDIR capnograph system. The newly designed optical chamber with two IR lamps and an electronic hardware for controlling lamp intensity have been implemented. After applying the proposed optical chamber and reference lamp control circuit to the NDIR type capnograph system, it is identified that the proposed method can compensate the lamp deterioration effectively.

In an ongoing survey of Korean indigenous fungi, three fungal strains belonging to the Sordariomycetes were isolated from soil samples. These strains were designated KNU16-001, KNU16-002, and KNU16-009, and identified as Ambrosiella grosmanniae, Acremonium sclerotigenum, and Trichocladium asperum, respectively, based on morphological characterization and phylogenetic analysis using internal transcribed spacer region sequences of ribosomal DNA. This is the first report of these species in Korea.

본 연구는 최근에 각광받고 있는 풍력터빈 발전기의 동적특성에 관한 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 풍력터빈이 기존의 전력계통에 연계되면 전력계통에 미치는 영향은 동기발전기만으로 구성된 전력계통과는 다르며 특히 동적특성이 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 PSS/E를 이용하여 GE1.5MW의 풍력터빈에 대한 동적특성을 시뮬레이션 한다. 풍속의 변화, 부하의 변화 그리고 무한대 모선의 전압변화를 통하여 GE1.5MW의 풍력터빈의 특성을 검토하였다.

Polyclonal gammopathy represents the diffuse activation of B cells and is usually related to inflammation or immune-related diseases. However, the mechanisms leading to polyclonal gammopathy are essentially speculative. Generally, infectious, inflammatory, or various other reactive processes may be indicated by the presence of a broad-based peak or band in the gamma region on serum protein electrophoresis results. A 15-year-old girl, who had been receiving peritoneal dialysis, presented with polyclonal gammopathy and massive gross hematuria. Renal artery embolization was performed, after which the continuous bleeding subsided and albumin-globulin dissociation resolved. This is a rare case of polyclonal gammopathy related to renal bleeding.

Bony lesions of the glenoid and Hill-Sachs lesions are the most common injuries after a first-time traumatic shoulder dislocation. However, fracture of the coracoid process after traumatic shoulder dislocation is rare. A single, open surgical procedure could be performed by a Latarjet procedure using a fractured fragment of the coracoid process. If a fracture of the coracoid process is associated with a traumatic anterior shoulder dislocation, the Latarjet procedure may be the most appropriate surgical option.

This paper describe the KUIC-CEX, an automated CMOS layout verification program which extracts circuit connectivity, MOSFET dimensions, and parasitic capacitance for CIF(1) file. In the KUIC-CEX, Bitmap approach(2, 3) is used for basic operation. Since the output of this program is the Input file format of PSPICE, we can easily verify the layout of circuit. This program is written in C language.
