The study was carried out through questionnaire survey method. The population sample for the study constituted 368 completed questionnaires from sample of 373 freshmen-women of university and students. A survey questionnaire consisted of career cognition items, key competency scale, vocational values scale, and personal characteristics items. The construct validity of key competency scale and vocational values scale were confirmed by factor analysis with varimax rotation. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were employed for data analysis. Major findings of this study were as follows: First, university students and junior college students most wanted to get a job after graduate. Many students decided their career at high school days. Many students were not prepared for their career after graduate. They recognized that major curriculum of university and junior college was very helpful to prepare their career. • This study was performed for the purpose of establishing proper dietary behaviors and improving sodium intake status by investigating nutrition knowledge, dietary behaviors, and food intake frequency related to sodium in 398 university students living in Gyeonggi-do and Incheon. Female students showed a higher rate of eating out more than five times a week as well as daily snack intake than male students. Female students showed a higher score for sodium-related nutrition knowledge than male students, whereas male students showed higher sodium intake than female students. Subjects who showed a higher frequency of eating out and snack intake also showed a higher salt intake ratio and sodium-related nutrition knowledge. Subjects with higher scores related to sodium-related nutrition knowledge showed a higher low salt intake ratio and incidence of low sodium food intake. From this research, depending on the level of nutrition knowledge related to sodium university students showed differences in dietary behavior related to sodium intake. This result would be helpful to develop lower sodium training materials specific to low sodium food selection tips, reading nutrition labels, and so on.

This project was the third video exchange project between Korean and Japanese university students since 2001. However, it was the first time to try it with three universities together. Students from the different universities tried to compete with each other. It provided a better chance for students to improve their English. Most students expressed the importance of the video exchange project in developing their English proficiency and enabling them to use English in an international context. Many students agreed that the project was an educational, enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

  • Students' protocols obtained from audio/video taping of small cooperative group problem solving processes were analyzed in the aspectsof verbal behaviors. The frequencies of the behaviors were com-pared by students' previous achievement level. Students' involvement in the verbal interaction for each level of students in each small group were also investigated. High-ability students ebility students and medium-or low-ability students. No significant differences were found in the subcategories of 'receiving information' or 'asking'. 0nly 3 small groups among 12 groups studied were found tobe bal-anced in students' involvelment. lnvolvement of medium-ability studentstended to be lower than that of high-and low-abilit students.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the differences in eye movement pattern shown in shown in classification process between the scientifically gifted and general students in elementary schools. The subjects for the research consisted of 16 gifted students in special education center for the gifted at Seoul National University of Education and 22 general students at G elementary schools. The tasks consisted of four hierarchical biology classification tasks and one non-hierarchical tasks. SMI's Eye Tracker (iView $X^{TM}$ RED) was used to collect eye movement data while the Begaze software analyzed the task performing process and eye movements. The findings of this study were twofold. First, there was a significant difference in students' fixation duration by students' academic achievement level. Gifted students spent little time on scanning details and found the features successfully. Second, the process of the classification is different by students' academic achievement. General students spent more time to gaze the salient features not relevant features. They had a difficulty to find the element to classify.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate children's ideas about growth of plants and their conceptural change after instruction to apply SPACE (Science Processes And Concepts Exploration) Learning strategy. For this study, a total of 55 students from infants to 5th grade were sampled. Data were obtained by the individual interview procedure and summarized by using network analysis. The major results of this study were as follows : 1. A very small number of students responded reforming or reorganisation of materials about the mechanism of germination and growth inside the seeds. 2. Almost all students confused between conditions necessary for germination and growth. Water and sunlight were mentioned by many students, while air and temperature were mentioned by a few students as the condition. 3. Some of the students showed that growth occurs continuously. Many students explaned occurence of growth about Plants related to the night, monning, or evening. 4. With the explaning about the necessary conditions for caterpillar growth, students mentioned conditions related in terms of human experience. 5. Many young childrens showed tendency of the egocentric and human-centered view of the world. Students scientific concepts increased significantly with age. Many students conceptions depend on the context-specificity ideas.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between self-leadership and the perception of learning in nursing students. Methods: A descriptive research design was used in this study. The participants were 378 nursing students in M city and C city who were surveyed between June 1 and June 30, 2014 using self-report questionnaires. The data was analyzed using SPSS WIN 21.0 Program, which determined frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation; a One-way ANOVA; a $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test; a Pearson correlation coefficient; and a Stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: There were significant positive correlations between nursing students' self-leadership and their perception of learning. In the multiple regression analysis, self-leadership was the most significant predictor in explaining nursing students' perception of learning. Conclusion: Study findings suggest that nursing students' self-leadership is defined as having an important influence on nursing students' perception of learning. In order to strengthen nursing students' self-leadership, there is a need to develop education programs that increase nursing students' self-leadership.
