• Reaction of ${\alpha}-cyano-{\beta}-phenylacrylic$ acid derivatives (Ⅰ) with thioglycolic acid in the molar ratio of 1:2 in saturated sodium bicarbonate solution yielded 3-(4'-oxo-2'-thiazolin-2'-yl)-2-phenyl-4-oxotetrahydrothiophene derivatives (V). Thioglycolic acid was found to be added not only to carbon-carbon double bond but also to carbon-nitrogen triple bond and those adducts were cyclized to V.

  • The purpose of the present study was to look deeply into the experience of self-exploration by providing song psychotherapy to the children of ministers. For this, three women, who were children of ministers and who were in their twenties, were provided with fifteen sessions of song psychotherapy at the Music Therapy Clinic of E University. The present study used Colaizzi's phenomenological method in order to observe and understand the self-exploring process of the participants in depth. Therefore, the present research found 164 meaning units, 38 themes and 14 theme groups, and 3 categorizations. As a result of this study, first, the participants recognized the features of environment while exploring themselves in song psychotherapy. Second, they found their affectedness by and reactions about surrounding environments. Third, they found an intrapersonal condition that was formed by their surrounding environment. With this as the basis, the result of the present study helps form an understanding of the phenomena that the children of ministers experience, and it may be utilized as groundwork in the application and development of music therapy methods for the self-exploration of the children of ministers.

  • Between 1976 and 1984 approximately 26.7 tons of Chinese coins were recovered from a shipwreck which was found at the seabed of the Shin an area in the south-western coast of the Korean peninsula. Elements, Cu, Pb, Sn, Fe, Sb, As, Zn, Ag, Ni, Co and Mn, of 54 pieces of the coins were determined by Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy(ICP-AIS). The result shows that Ch, Pb, and Sn were found to be major elements roughly the coins with the ratio of 7 : 2 : 1, respectively. Trace elements were classified into 3 levels according to the avarage concentration : Fe,As and Sb(0.1-0.5%), Ag, Mi, Co and Zn(100-1000ppm) and Mn(10ppm). Some systematic tendencies are observed in the composition change with a function of their minting ages .The Wuzhu coins(오수전) from the Eastern Han dynasty(A.D.25-219 )are much more abundant in Cu than the coins of Tang dynasty(A.D.618-907) and later periods. Major element compositions of the Kai -tong Vuan-Bao(개통원보) coins from the Tang dynasty, were remarkably variable. In general, however, the Tang dynasty coins were much more abundant in Cu than the Song dynasty(A.S.S60-1279) coins. The amount of major elements Cu and Sn decreases while that of Pb in creasesby passage of age from the Bei Song dynasty(A.D.960-1127) to later Nam Song dynasty (A.D.1127-1279 ). It means that the quality of coins mere degraded. The amounts of trace elemends(Fe, As, Co, Hn) increases with the above age. High amounts of trace elements are supposed to be a reflection of immaturity of minting techniques or use of impurity-rich raw materials. The Jin dynasty(A.D.1125-1234) coins are found to be rich in Sn and thus contain Pb as the third component. It is quite different from the coins of the Song dynasty. The Zhi-dai Tong-Bao(지대통보) coins of the Yuan dynasty from A.0.1310 are much more abundant in Cu and Sn than those of the Nam Song dynasty .

  • This paper aims at studying on the medium of cultural interchange regarding who did and how to introduced the new trend of architecture during the period of Koryo Dynasty. Before the era of Koryo Dynasty, Kyungjang(Sutra Pitaka, 經藏) was mainly centered in Kyeongnu with a substantial function of storage. In the early Koryo Dynasty, however, Daejangjeon(大藏殿), which was spatialized for worship, began to appear. Normally, fixed walls were installed and the Sutras were enshrined inside Daejangjeon, while Jeonryunjang (revolving wheel sutras), a type of rational bookshelf, was introduced, and a new trend became developed in Kyungjang construction. Jeonryunjang(revolving wheel sutras, 轉輪藏) is a dharma instrument with a rotational function so that one revolution gives an effect of reading the enshrined Sutra one time, and began to be created actively in the period of the Northern Song. It is considered that the introduction of Jeonryunjang(revolving wheel sutras) to Daejangjeon was resulted from Haejokuksa(慧照國師) Damjin(曇眞) who visited the Kangnam areas in the Northern Song at that time. The Kangjeol areas in the Northern Song, where Damjin concentratively itinerated three times, were the place in which Jeonryunjang was created in many temples. Since Damjin, historical materials and excavated data regarding constructing Jeonryunjang have been discovered in the Buddhist temples, which are related to his pupils and dharma lineage. The only existing Jeonryunjang of Yongmusa Temple in Korea is the one that Joeung Daesunsa, who succeeded to the dharma lineage of Haesokuksa, promoted, and supports strongly such introduction of Jeonryunjang by Haesokuksa.

  • Accidents of commuting vehicles for preschoolers continue to occur despite various safety policies from the government. In order to minimize such accidents, it is necessary to use both the vehicle-mounted safety commutation management software for the driver, and the mobile App to manage the safe schooling of the children that can inform such information to parents in time. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of the safety management software architecture. The mobile application is designed for Android operating systems. It informs current driving information if the bus as well as the list of current boarded children. Teacher in the bus can manage exceptional cases such as riding child without RFID and unregistered temporary riders like grandparent for convenience and flexibility.
