신뢰성분석 기법을 이용한 고속철도 검측시스템의 수명예측 (Lifetime Prediction Using Reliability Analysis Method about for the Electric Detection System)

  • The importance of railway safety has become increasingly significant domestically as well as internationally, as a series of high speed railway accidents and other major accidents have occurred recently. Especially for the domestic railway, the Korean Railway Safety Law has been revised recently, mandates all the domestic railway operation authorities to render the performance of RAMS and RCM. This study inspects and analyzes the current status of the sensing technology of the electric detection system to tell the status of railway facilities in the highway railway in a real time through a sensor. It also performs the reliability analysis of the electric detection system that is being progressed as a study assignment and suggests the system construction for the higher reliability.

  • 본 연구에서는 충돌해석 프로그램의 해석 결과와 실제 시험결과에 대한 비교를 통하여 충돌해석 프로그램의 신뢰성에 대한 검증을 진행하였으며, 충돌해석 프로그램을 이용하여 도시철도차량에서 요구하는 차량 편성에 대한 충돌 해석 결과를 제시하였다.

  • Jointless AF(Audio Frequency) Track Circuit is more comfortable than exist joint track circuit. This electrical circuit's function is detection train on rail, and transmit information between wayside and vehicle. 'Korea Railroad Corporation' proposed for revision of the Korean railway standards(KRS SG 0038-06 R, 2006.5.16) "Non-insulated AF Track Circuit". This proposal equipment developed to extend use for station of National Railway exist line. According to test standards Korean railway safety law and its ordinances, which were committed to Korea Railroad Research Institute, the professional committee 'Railway facility sector II' have helded on January in 2007. In this investigation, the changed test norm will be review the difference of important function test standards of new version to conform effectivity and safety test procedure according to the KS A 1025.

효과적인 철도차량운전면허 교육훈련에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Rolling stock driver's license training)

  • 철도사고의 발생 확률은 적지만 한 번의 사고로 인하여 피해가 막대하고 빠르게 확산되는 특징이 있다. 이러한 예상치 못한 철도사고 예방을 위하여 열차안전운행의 최일선 접점에 있는 기관사의 역할은 무엇보다 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다 할 것이다. 철도안전법 시행 이전 기관사 양성은 각 철도운영기관에서 자체적으로 정한 자격기준, 교육기간, 실무수습을 거쳐 양성하였으며 동일차종을 운전하는 기관사 양성에 있어 철도운영기관 별로 각기 다른 기준으로 선발 교육함에 따라 철도차량운전자에 대한 양성 관리가 체계적으로 이루어 지지 않았다. 철도안전법 시행으로 철도차량 종류에 따라 면허의 종류를 분류하고 전문교육훈련기관을 지정하여 일정한 교육을 이수한 후 제3의 평가기관을 지정, 평가토록 함으로써 일정 수준이상 득점을 해야만 면허가 발급되는 체제를 갖추게 되었으며 교육훈련기관과 평가기관을 분리하여 운전자에 대한 능력을 객관적으로 검증할 수 있도록 하였다. 교육대상자에 따라 과목별 이론교육 시간을 달리 배정하고 실기교육의 대부분을 차지하고 있는 운전시뮬레이터의 취급시간을 최대한 확보하여 철도차량운전자의 자질을 극대화하는 교육프로그램이 되도록 설계하여야 한다. 본 논문을 통하여 면허취득을 위한 교육훈련의 효과를 극대화 하고 실용적인 교육을 위하여 필요한 제반 여건에 대하여 국내외 면허 교육훈련을 비교분석을 통하여 현행 제도의 문제점 및 개선방안에 대하여 연구하고자 한다.

철도종합안전심사제도 개선을 위한 해외 심사제도 분석 (The Investigation of the Overseas Audit Systems for the Improvement of the Integrated Railroad Safety Audit System)

  • Recently the assurance of railroad safety is very important issue in KOREA because there are lots of changes in the railroad industries. The Railway Safety Act was established in order to cope with these changes effectively and prevent the railroad transportation accidents. According to this law, Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA) has been entrusted with 'Integrated Railroad Safety Audit (IRSA)' and has implemented the safety audit to the railroad operation agencies such as Korea Railroad (KORAIL) and the railroad facility management organization such as the Korea Rail Network Authority (KR Network). The target of IRSA is to establish the effective rail safety management system and to raise the safety level of the railroad operation and facility agencies by checking synthetically their performance of safety duties with sincerity according to the Railway Safety Act. The purpose of this paper is to improve the efficiency of IRSA by the comparative research between IRSA and other similar safety audit system. To study the efficiency of IRSA, we investigated the rail safety audit systems of EU system specially France, England where the big changes have happened for the rail operation concepts and Japan where government entity control the railroad safety. The international standards of Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS 18001), Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems Auditing (ISO 19011) are investigated.

철도차량 운행속도에 따른 기관사의 인지과정 분석 (Cognitive Process of Railway Drivers at Different Speeds)

  • The objective of this study is to verify the hypothesis that cognitive process of railway drivers would be influenced by train speed. The hypothesis is tested by investigating railway drivers' cognitive processes at different speeds of a locomotion. The experiment shows that human performance of railway drivers decreases as the train speed becomes faster. In addition, simple signals outperformed complex signals at every train speed. Therefore, it is suggested to redesign complex signals simpler for improving drivers' human performance. It is also recommended that the Korean railway safety law should be revised to mention requirement of the signal design, especially for the fastest train including KTX. The implications of the experiments are discussed in detail.

사용내구연한이 만료된 철도차량의 주요 재질별 재활용률 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Recycling Ratio in Major Materials of Expired Railway Vehicles)

  • The regulation involved with railway vehicles is defined by law to protect customer and fundamental safety. The persisting period of domestic railway vehicles in general are 25~30years. Expired railway vehicles are disused in various way. The railway vehicles are consists of recyclable various materials, but there is no standardization or calculating method related with railway vehicles to make disuse scenario. In this study, performed to get a recycling ratio about major materials of domestic subway railway vehicles using ISO 22628 which is Road vehicles-Recyclability and recoverrability method. This research provide foundation for further researches, standardization of EoL stage and recycling railway vehicle.

  • It is recommended that reasonable and well-organized standards of the locomotive's requalification system, as it stands, should be established through comparing with foreign of the country for verifying it's propriety. The purpose of this study is to develop the process of locomotive's requalification system for reducing human errors which has been founded as important cause in railway accidents and safety. Therefore, some effective alternatives suggested in this study may be used as basic data for supporting the Korean railway safety law.

  • Recently the assurance of railroad safety is very important issue in KOREA because there are lots of changes in the railroad industries. The Railway Safety Act was established in order to cope with these changes effectively and prevent the railroad transportation accidents. According to this law, Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA) has been entrusted with 'Integrated Railroad Safety Audit (IRSA)'. Even though newly introduced IRSA is conducted smoothly, it is necessary to study the methodology and criteria of the state's safety audit system in other fields to improve the efficiency. In ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) Safety Management Manual, a state's safety programme embraces those regulations and directives for the conduct of safe operations from the perspective of aircraft operators and those providing air traffic services(ATS), aerodromes and aircraft maintenance. The safety programme may include provisions for such diverse activities as incident reporting, safety investigations, safety audits and safety promotion. To implement such safety activities in an integrated manner requires a coherent SMS(Safety Management System). In this paper, to improve the efficiency of IRSA, we investigated the ICAO's the State's Aviation Safety Audit Systems and ICAO Safety Management Manual. And through the result of investigation, we proposed the improvement concept of IRSA.

직접 PC슬래브설치를 통한 철도지하횡단 공법의 적용 연구 (Railway Underground Crossing Method Using PC Slab)

  • Existing grade crossings between railway and roadway area gradually changed to grade separation systems by the law. In the case of new roadway construction which crosses railways, it shall be grade separation system in principle. With the railway underground crossing method, many practices have been developed which can minimize rail displacements and avoid rail release. With these methods, the effects to the train can be reduced. The underground crossing methods can be identified as open-cut methods and non open-cut methods. The open-cut methods include temporary support methods and special rail construction methods. Also the non open-cut methods includes pipe roof methods, front jacking methods, messer shield methods, NTR methods and JES methods. Among these, the most suitable method is applied considering safety, economy, class of each rail system (train passing frequency and velocity), etc. In the non open-cut methods, the cost and duration shall be increased to keep existing rail system during construction. In the open-cut methods which use plate girders, the rail speed shall be restricted due to the displacement and vibration of the girder. In this study new grade separation methods were developed. With this method, the safety during construction can be increased. This method refines temporary support methods, but pc slab girder with huge stiffness is applied instead of plate girders. With this method, the rail displacement can be reduced and higher safety can be obtained during construction. Also construction cost and duration can be minimized because the temporary work and the overburden soil depth can be reduced.
