  • Due to a recent rise in use of a wireless keyboard and mouse, attacks which take user's input information or control user's computer remotely exploiting the physical vulnerability in the wireless communication have been reported. Especially, MouseJack, announced by Bastille Network, attacks 2.4 GHz wireless keyboards and mice through exploiting vulnerability of each manufacturer's receiver. Unlike other attacks that have been revealed, this allows to attack AES wireless keyboards. Nonetheless, there is only a brief overview of the attack but no detailed information on this attacking method. Therefore, in this paper we will analyze the Microsoft 2.4 GHz wireless mouse packet and propose a way to set the packet configuration for HID packet injection simulating a wireless mouse. We also develop a system with 2.4 GHz AES wireless keyboard HID packet injection using the proposed packet and demonstrate via experiment that HID packet injection is possible through the system we built.

  • According to NIA (National Information Society Agency) report, digital divide is a vicious circle which makes quality interval of human's life between people who have information and relatively not. Especially in a smart phone society, there is a big problem between disabled people and normal people. This paper suggests a braille keyboard system for the blind to solve these problems. It is designed for portable use, convenience and quick text typing based on bluetooth communication technique. In text input test, all texts (Korean, English, number) were accurately expressed and typing speed was about 22 [c/m](characters per a minute). Especially, we design text2voice function to provide more accurate key input system. Popular applications such as call, alarm, message, kakao talk, internet, music, were performed without carring problems using the proposed braille keyboard system. The proposed technique is thought to contribute to eliminating the digital divide through the expansion of smartphone users.

  • The information display control system is designed and implemented on an automobile in which the conventional panel displays are replaced by electronic ones. The system hardware consists of three main parts, i. e., (i) the function select keyboard (ii) the central processing unit (iii) the displays, The system software consists of main routine and several interrupt service routine such as keyboaiuand display interrupt service routine:. The main routine handles various sensor inputs to generate the appropriate information for the driver such as running speed, available fuel quantity. coolant temperature, battery voltage, remaining distance to the destination , time of day, and so on. Finally the results of the field test of the system and some associated difficulties of realization problems are discussed.

  • A person does communication between each other using language. But In the case of disabled person can not communication own idea to use writing and gesture. Therefore, In this paper, we embodied communication system using the facial muscle signals so that disabled person can do communication. Especially, After feature extraction of the EEG included facial muscle, it is converted the facial muscle into control signal, and then select character and communicate using a minimum list keyboard.

  • Virtual Hangul keyboards like Chun-Ji-In, Narat-Gul, and QWERTY are based on eyesight recognition, in which input letter positions are fixed in the smartphone environment. The input method of a fixed-position style is not very convenient for visually impaired individuals. In order to resolve the issue of inconvenience of the Hangul input system, we propose a new paradigm of the finger-touch based Hangul input system that does not need eyesight recognition of input buttons. For the convenience of learning the touch-motion based keyboard, finger touches are designed by considering the shape and frequencies of Hangul vowels and consonants together with the preference of fingers. The base position is decided by the first touch of the screen, and the finger-touch keyboard is used in the same way for all the other touch-style devices, regardless of the differences in size and operation system. In this input method, unique finger-touch motions are assigned for Hangul letters that significantly reduce the input errors.

  • Users who using computer may experience fatigue or sickness on their wrists if they use the keyboard and mouse for a long time. People with physical disabilities will find it difficult to work with the keyboard and mouse. There is a problem in that the substitute product for solving this is limited in function or expensive. In this paper, we development a system for controlling a personal computer with voice commands using the Amazon Echo and Amazon Web Services lambda functions. The implemented system processes the user's voice commands from the Amazon web server and sends them to the personal computer. The personal computer processes the received command and uses it to operate the application program.

  • Recently, the research for the mobile computing such as PDA, Palm PC and wearable computing related technologies is widely under development, specially for the input device. Among the mobile input methods are speech recognition, handwriting recognition and cording type. However these systems have the problems of the data input appraratus like input speed and recognition rate. This paper presents the Glove-based input device which could solve the system's data input problem. By the experimental results suggest the method of proposional input method that utilize the hand's movement is appropriate for the effective mobile input devices.

  • Wearable input device that can make free-space typewriting possible is introduced. We named this device as $SCURRY^{TM}$. To measure the angular velocity of hand and the acceleration rates at the ends of fingers, we buried MEMS inertial sensors in this keyboard. We processed sensor signals to get the information on hand movement and finger-click motion. With this signal processing, apparent finger movements were depicted over the virtual keyboard shown on output device of a target computing system. In this paper, a finger-click recognition method is proposed to improve the recognition performance for finger clicking of $SCURRY^{TM}$. The proposed method is composed of three parts including feature extraction part, valid click part, and cross-talk avoidance part. The experiments were conducted to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithms.

  • In this paper, we discussed three cases to see the effects of the characteristics of Hangul writing system. In applications such as computer Hangul shorthands for ordinary people and pushbuttons with Hangul characters engraved, we found that there is much advantage in using Hangul. In case of Hangul Transliteration, we discussed some problems which are related with the characteristics of Hangul writing system. Shorthands use 3-set keyboards in England, America, and Korea. We saw how ordinary people can do computer Hangul shorthands, whereas only experts can do computer shorthands in other countries. Specifically, the facts that 1) Hangul characters are grouped into syllables (syllabic blocks) and that 2) there is already a 3-set Hangul keyboard for ordinary people allow ordinary people to do computer Hangul shorthands without taking special training as with English shorthands. This study was done by the author under the codename of 'Sejong 89'. In contrast like QWERTY or DVORAK, a 2-set Hangul keyboard cannot be used for shorthands. In case of English pushbuttons, one digit is associated with only one character. However, by engraving only syllable-initial characters on the phone pushbuttons, we can associate one Hangul "syllable" with one digit. Therefore, for a given number of digits, we can associate longer words or more meaningful words in Hangul than in English. We discussed the problems of the Hangul Transliteration system proposed by South Korea and suggested their solutions, if available. 1) We are incorrectly using the framework of transcription for transliteration. To solve the problem, the author suggests that a) we include all complex characters in the transliteration table, and that b) we specify syllable-initial and -final characters separately in the table. 2) The proposed system cannot represent independent characters and incomplete syllables. 3) The proposed system cannot distinguish between syllable-initial and -final characters.
