입력지진파에 따른 지진 시 필댐의 침하량 영향관계 분석 (Evaluation of the Effect of Input Motions on Earthquake-Induced Settlement of Embankment Dams)

  • 현행 내진설계 일반(KDS 17 10 00)에 따르면 내진설계 시 사용하는 입력지진파에 대한 기준이 명확히 제시되어 있고 실지진파에 대해서는 표준설계응답스펙트럼에 맞추어 보정하도록하고 있으나, 실지진파 선택에 따른 영향이 사전에 평가되지 않아 지진파 선택 시 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내외에서 발생한 실지진파에 대하여 국내 설계기준이 제시하는 표준설계응답스펙트럼에 부합하도록 보정한 후, 수치해석을 통하여 필댐의 침하량 변화를 평가하였다. 그 결과 댐 하단에 작용하는 자유장 가속도의 영향보다 댐 마루에서의 최대가속도, 댐제체를 통한 증폭 특성등 제체 상부의 거동이 침하량에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 동일한 표준설계응답스펙트럼으로 보정한 입력지진파일지라도 초기 실지진파와 댐 제체에서의 증폭 특성에 따라 침하량이 달리 평가될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 지진시 측정되는 strong motion 데이터와 시설물의 손상의 상관관계를 구하기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 지진시 측정된 시간 - 지진강도 관계와 측정위치들이 포함된 대규모 지형정보시스템(GIS) 데이터에 대한 분석에 Kriging 공간 통계분석법을 사용함으로써 첨두지반속도(PGV)와 파이프라인 및 건물의 손상정도의 관계를 구할 수 있었으며, 특히, Kriging법은 측정치에 포함된 오차 등 불확실한 요소들을 고려한 $90\%$의 신뢰도에 해당하는 지진강도-손상 관계를 구할 수 있어서 역거리 제곱법 등 다른 공간데이터 분석법에 비하여 우수한 방법이었다.

상이한 지반조건을 갖는 아치구조물의 지진응답 분석 (Seismic Response of Arch Structure Subjected to Different Ground Motion)

  • Spatial structures have the different dynamic characteristics from general rahmen structures. Therefore, it is necessary to accurately analyze dynamic characteristics and seismic response of spatial structure for seismic design of spatial structure. An arch structure is used as an example structure because it has primary characteristics of spatial structures. Multiple support excitation may be subjected to supports of a spatial structure because ground condition of spatial structures is different. In this study, the response analysis of the arch structure under multiple support excitation and simple support excitation is studied. By means of the pseudo excitation method, the seismic response is analyzed for long span spatial structure. It shows that the structural response is divided into two parts, ground displacement and structural dynamic response due to ground motion excitation. It is known that the seismic response of spatial structure under multiple support excitation and simple support excitation are the different in some case. Therefore, it has to be necessary to analyze the seismic response of spatial structure under multiple support excitation because the spatial structure supports may be different.

Impulse 함수 기반 목표응답스펙트럼 맞춤형 지진파 보정 알고리즘의 적용성 평가 (Evaluation of Applicability of Impulse function-based Algorithm for Modification of Ground Motion to Match Target Response Spectrum)

  • 동적 지진해석 수행 시 적절한 입력지진파를 선정 생성하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 현재 국내에서는 일반적으로 국외에서 계측된 강진 기록이나 인공지진파가 입력지진파로 사용된다. 계측지진기록은 지진파의 고유성질인 시간에 따라서 주파수 특성이 변이하는 비정상(Non-Stationary) 특성을 가지고 있지만 설계 응답스펙트럼과는 일치하지 않으며 주파수영역에서 생성된 인공지진파는 설계 응답스펙트럼과는 일치하지만 정상(Stationary) 특성을 가지고 있는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 계측기록의 Non-stationary 특성을 보존하되 동시에 설계 응답스펙트럼에 상응하는 지진파를 생성하였다. 적용된 기법은 Impulse 함수를 이용하여 시간영역에서 지진기록을 목표 스펙트럼에 상응하도록 보정하는 알고리즘이다. 적용 결과, 시간영역 변화 알고리즘은 성공적으로 계측 지진기록을 설계 응답스펙트럼와 일치하도록 조정할 수 있으며 원 지진기록의 Non-stationary 특성을 보존하는 것으로 나타났다. 나아가 계측 지진기록과 보정된 지진기록을 적용한 비선형 지반응답해석을 수행한 결과, 보정된 지진파를 이용한 결과가 보다 합리적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 변환된 지진기록은 기존 기록의 문제점을 보완하는 진보된 입력지진파인 것으로 나타났으며 추후 지진해석 시 이를 준용하는 것이 합리적일 것으로 판단된다.

동력경운기(動力耕耘機)의 운동(運動) 시뮬레이션을 위한 모델 개발(開發) (Development of Simulation Model for Power Tiller Motion)

  • A mathematical model is developed and computer programmed for simulation of power tiller motion. The model consists of a main body and two driving wheels resulting in an 8 degrees of freedom system. Drawbar loading is also included by coupling the model with a sub-model representing the implement to be used. The computer program SIMPTL can predict motion characteristics and static stability of power tiller under a given set of ground and operation conditions.

한국무용 숙련자와 미숙련자에 따른 폐기능, 부드러움, 그리고 지면반력의 차이 분석 (The Analysis of Differences in Pulmonary Functions, Jerk Cost, and Ground Reaction Force Depending on Professional and Amateur Dancers in Korea Dance)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the performance of dancing motions depending on the level of skill by investigating pulmonary functions, ground reaction force, and jerk cost. The subjects of this study were 12 professional dancers (career: 16 yrs) and 12 amateur dancers (career: 9 yrs) who had similar physical conditions. We selected four motion phases which included the diagonal line motion, the deep flexion motion, the breath motion, and the turn motion with one leg after a small step walking motion, with Goodguri Jangdan. In the experiment, 6 infrared cameras were installed in order to analyze the value of the jerk costs and the force plate form. Finally, we measured the pulmonary functions of the subjects. For data analysis, independent t-tests according to each event, were carried out in the data processing. According to the results of FVC % Predicted, the professional dancers showed greater lung capacities than the amateur dancers, indicating that the level of dancing skill influences lung capacity. Based on the result of the balance test, the professional dancers used more vertical power than did the amateur dancers when performing maximal flexion motion. The professional dancers used a propulsive force of pushing their body forward by keeping the center of body higher while the amateur dancers used a braking power by keeping their bodies backward. When performing medial-lateral movements, the amateur dancers were less stable than the professional dancers. There were no differences in values of jerk costs between the amateur dancers and the professional dancers.

  • Free-field ground motion during earthquake is significantly affected by the local site conditions and it is essential in the seismic design to perform the accurate site-specific ground response analysis. In this paper, one-dimensional seismic characteristics of waste landfill are studied based on the vertical propagation of horizontal shear waves through the column of soil/waste. Seismic response analysis is peformed for short-period, long-period and artificial earthquake ground motions using a computer program for seismic response analysis of horizontally layered soil deposits. The computed peak ground accelerations are compared with the values calculated according to Korean seismic design guidelines. The analysis result shows that the long-period earthquake causes the largest peak ground acceleration while the artificial earthquake results in the smallest one.

  • A scale model of power tiller-trailer system with the same kinematic characteristics was constructed one eighth of the actual size to validate the effectiveness of mathematical model of motion. The parameters for the scale model of power tiller-trailer system were measured by a series of laboratory experiments. Validation tests for the: scale model was conducted under several ground and operating conditions. The tests were performed on artificial ground surfaces with several kind, of slope and obstacle. The travel path of the scale model was photographed successively in three directions. The travel paths obtained from both the film analysis and the simulation model appeared to be consistent with each other. It was concluded that the simulation model could be used to predict the motion of actual power tiller-trailer system if the parameters for actual power tiller and trailer are provided.

Pushover 해석을 이용한 5MW급 해상풍력터빈의 지진취약도 (Seismic Fragility for 5MW Offshore Wind Turbine using Pushover Analysis)

  • Seismic fragility curves for an offshore wind-turbine structure were obtained. The dynamic response of an offshore wind turbine was analyzed by considering the nonlinear behavior of layered soil and the added mass effect due to seawater. A pile-soil interaction effect was considered by using nonlinear p-y, t-z curves. In the analysis, the amplification effect of ground acceleration through layered soil was considered by applying ground motion to each of the soil layers. The vertical variation in ground motion was found by one-dimensional free-field analysis of ground soils. Fragility curves were determined by damage levels in terms of tower stress and nacelle displacements that were found from static pushover analysis of the wind-turbine structure.
