First, information search for Korean food brand showed that all external search, internal search and direct experience had a positive effect on preference. Second, there was no difference between information search for Korean food brand, risk perception and preference according to gender, but there was a significant difference between information search for Korean food brand, risk perception, and preference according to their age. When purchasing products or services, consumers tend to purchase multiple value attributes through the acquisition of a product rather than physical characteristics. This study empirically analyzed the relations between consumption value, brand attitude, and purchase intention of customers purchasing fair-trade coffee, by dividing consumption values that would have significant effects on consumers' actual purchase behavior into five levels. Among the consumption value factors of customers purchasing fair-trade coffee, the functional value, social value, emotional value, and rare value all had significant effects on brand attitude and purchase intention while the influence of situational value on brand attitude and purchase intention was not verified. These finding are partially concordant with those of preceding studies, and the consumption value of consumers purchasing fair-trade coffee has positive effects on purchase behavior; therefore, it would be necessary for companies selling fair-trade products to understand consumers' specific values. Moreover, analysis of the influence of brand attitude on purchase intention of customers purchasing fair-trade coffee revealed that purchase intention increased when brand attitude was higher. These finding indicate that it is necessary to identify measures to increase purchase intention by targeting consumer groups with high brand attitude with intensive promotions.
This study examines the effects of restaurant attributes on customers' perceptions of price and brand reputation. Four restaurant attributes were used to represent restaurant quality. Multiple regression was conducted to measure the relationships between the four restaurant attributes and price and brand reputation. Further, an independent T-test was used to compare differences between perceptions of locals and tourists with regard to restaurant quality under two categories (price and brand reputation) after they selected a restaurant. Results of this study revealed that residency did not have a significant impact on customers' perceptions of price or brand reputation, whereas restaurant attributes did have an impact. Taste was a predictor of perceived price, whereas service and atmosphere were predictors of brand reputation. In addition, comparison of restaurant attributes between locals and tourists showed that sanitation and service were significantly different in accordance with price and atmosphere, whereas taste and service were significantly different in accordance with brand reputation. Locals showed higher means for each restaurant attribute compared to tourists.

For statistical analysis, the SPSS V19.0 was used for reliability and factor analysis, chi-square test and regression analysis. The results are as follows: First, there was a significant difference (p<0.01) in advertising effects according to gender and education level. Out of the consumers who were exposed to celebrity endorsers, the highschool students and women showed higher advertising effects. Second, the advertising attitude was positively related to brand images (F: 479.680, p<0.01) and buying intentions (F: 1101.427, p<0.01) as well as brand images on purchase intentions (F: 492.175, p<0.01). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the consumer-brand relationship quality on the brand loyalty in family restaurants. Questionnaires were distributed to 320 students in K University located in Masan, who were sampled by convenience-sampling method. The surveys were conducted from November, 10 to 24, 2005. Of the 287 returned questionnaires, 15 unusable questionnaires were excluded to leave 272 for use in the final analysis(response rate: 85.0%). For the statistical analysis, SPSS(12.0)was used to conduct the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study showed that 2 constructs (satisfaction and intimacy) of consumer-brand relationship quality have significantly positive effects on the brand loyalty in family restaurants(p<.01). This indicates that as consumer-brand relationship quality strengthens, the customer's brand loyalty increases. In conclusion, food service managers in family restaurants should focus on the marketing strategies to strengthen the quality of consumer-brand relationship in order to increase the brand loyalty of customers.

It is not the time when foodservice operations in Korea envy worldwide foodservice operations. For our foodservice operations to survive unlimited competition we do not wait for strong brand to be made, but make a worldwide brand through systematic tactics and strategy. To be a worldwide first-class foodservice operation we have to make first-class food products and a first-class brand accordingly. Brand has a power to lighten the future of a company and is in the limelight as a being to be attracted an attention from an invisible being. Brand is considered as a means to all the foodservice operations which invests enormous fund and time, and is appeared as a powerful weapon. It is not too much to say that 21st century is a marketing era centering on a brand. But this brand may be changed its property by various environment and changes. On the other hand it may be disappeared. Therefore more attention must be paid continuously about strategic actions to manage the brand. Now all companies can't promise to succeed without a powerful brand. The fact is that a worldwide brand to be made and developed is necessary. Also If not to do so it is very difficult to survive permanently.
