In this study, we have investigated the shielding evaluation methodology for facilities using kV energy generators. We have collected and analysis of safety evaluation criteria and methodology for overseas facilities using radiation generators. And we investigated the current status of shielding evaluation of domestic industrial radiation generators. According to the statistical data from the Radiation Safety Information System, as of 2022, a total of 7,679 organizations are using radiation generating devices. Among them, 6,299 facilities use these devices for industrial purposes, which accounts for a considerable portion of radiation. The organizations that use these devices evaluate whether the exposure dose for workers and frequent visitors is suitable as per the limit regulated by the Nuclear Safety Act. Moreover, during this process, the safety shields are evaluated at the facilities that use the radiation generating devices. However, the facilities that use radiating devices having energy less than or equal to 6 MV for industrial purposes are still mostly evaluated and analyzed according to the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements 49 (NCRP 49) report published in 1976. We have investigated the technical standards of safety management, including the maximum permissible dose and parameters assessment criteria for facilities using radiation generating devices, based on the NCRP 49 and the American National Standards Institute/Health Physics Society N.43.3 reports, which are the representative reports related to radiation shielding management cases overseas.

Today, the United States, Europe and other advanced organizations are utilizing the concept of competency-based HR management. Recently, many organizations in Korea are also managing workforces by introducing the concept of job competencies in personnel management. However, in spite of the current trend, domestic human resources management methods for construction managers continues to operate by asking about work experience, licensing, education level, etc. This is a seniority system and it functions separately from an assessment of practical job competencies for the business. Moreover, construction management work has been very fragmented in terms of expertise and capacity depending on the type of management work and project progress. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a competencies management system for each business segment to effectively manage job competencies that reflect the the characteristics of a construction manager' s work. As such, the aim of this study is to analyze human resources management methods pertaining to domestic construction managers and present challenges and limitations in current practices. In particular, factors affecting the job competencies of construction managers are analyzed statistically. The results of this study will be used as the basis for future research into development of a construction manager competency management system.

To protect human health and manage increasing hazardous chemicals in stream area, it is necessary to expand water quality hazardous items based on risk assessment with proper monitoring data. Also, it is essential to set up the suitable monitoring frequency to produce reliable exposure data to derive water quality guidelines. However, there has been no harmonized monitoring frequency for risk assessment in both domestic and international monitoring systems. In addition, the monitoring frequency for risk assessment has been selected as 'Research needs' in the International Conference on Deriving Environmental Quality Standards for the Protection of Aquatic Ecosystems (EQSPAE) of 2011. In this study, Cases of UNEP/WHO, EU, European countries, USEPA, ANZECC/ARMCANZ, CCME, Japan, and Korea were analyzed to propose the monitoring frequency for risk assessment. Monitoring frequencies depending on environmental conditions, monitoring object, measurement parameters, and monitoring duration were extensively collected. We observed that a monthly monitoring has been applied at most of organizations including EU, USEPA, and UNEP/WHO. In this study, monitoring frequency of minimum 6 times during 3 years were proposed to conduct the risk assessment based on the current domestic status. However, it is necessary to make agreements among interested parties, and perform additional studies about optimal monitoring frequency to protect the aquatic ecosystem and human health in Korean rivers and streams.

There are growing needs for improving the general performances of the domestic working environment evaluation organizations. For this purpose, introduction of laboratory accreditation program has been suggested. This study was conducted as a part of this effort. With a questionnaire developed in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025, the current status of industrial hygiene (IH) laboratories in terms of manpower, management and technical aspects. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The average working staffs' number of the working environment evaluation organizations was $6.8{\pm}3.3$ persons. In addition, 49% of all organizations are run by less than 5 persons. This suggests that manpower of Korean IH laboratories is very limited. 2. IH laboratories surveyed in this study obtained 53% of the points by the international standard. And there is significant correlation between the number of staffing and total scores (P<0.05). 3. The period of work experience is one of the most important factors to determine the working capability. The average year of work experience of the laboratories' directors was $13.5{\pm}5.3$ years. Directors with more wok experiences obtained higher scores on the questions that ask to prove the appropriateness of the research methodology (p<0.05). 4. As for academic qualifications of laboratory directors, 14% had Ph.D., 31% with Master's, 29% with Bachelor's, and 4% had Associate degree. There was significant correlation between the total scores and the general managers' academic background (p<0.05). The 27% of laboratory directors have majored in either industrial hygiene or health, 8% majored in medicine, another 8% majored environmental studies, and 6% majored in chemistry. 5. Only 14% of all IH laboratories surveyed employ directors with Certified Industrial Hygienist licence, 41% have general managers with Certified Associate Industrial Hygienist (Level 1) licence, and 45% of all laboratories either employ directors without relevant qualification or did not respond. When the laboratory manger holds relevant qualification, laboratory health and safety management was better (p<0.05). 6. When compared to the general international standard in terms of the management, and 55% in terms of technological level.
A study on child care centers has been developed with a focus on normal children. Also the child care centers which take care of children with disability are rare. In Seoul, Korea, only 2% of children with disability are taken care of in childcare centers. And even the disabled children at the child care centers are mostly mentally or emotionally disabled because the building, programs and services of the centers are restrictive to the children with severe physical disabilities. In Korea, it is not yet an obligation for child care centers to adopt Disability Accessibility Guidelines to make facilities accessible by the disabled. Also, Korea does not have specific design guidelines or legal standards. This study aims to review the domestic and foreign legal standards and design guidelines which are applicable to child care centers for children with disability through a reference review. Korean legal standards, and US's ABA and ADAAG were analyzed. Two representative references such as "Creating Inclusive Child Care Facilities" published in US and "Design for access and mobility requirement for Children and Adolescents with Physical Disabilities" published in Australia were reviewed. As a result, we categorized the guidelines according to contents such as locations, areas, space organizations, nursing spaces, sanitary spaces, and doors and corridors. The goal of this study is to provide the basic information to develop domestic design guidelines to ensure that the child care centers are welcoming and usable for everyone possible.

This study analyzed the procedures and contents of digitalization of sinological resources owned by major sinological resource institutes in Korea. It investigated the united organizations that use such sinological resources It also assessed governmental policies and future Plans for digitalization of sinological resources. Finally, it proposed steps and conditions necessary for successful digitalization of sinological resources. (1) The level of digitalization of library management, searching, and usage system of national library, university library, and research library that has been applied since 1980s has already been highly advanced. The amount of sinological resources collected is significant and its substance value is very high. The digitalized resources are already distributed on internet partially. However, the level of digitalization of sinological resources still lacks some aspects and requires further effort. (2) The data base for digitalized sinological resources already available can be grouped into bibliographic information, contents and annotation, and full text. and it includes both domestic and foreign resources. The quantities of resources are as described in the body (3) The types of digital sinological resources include antient books. archives, micro, and book blocks. (4) The encoding DB methods of digital sinological resources include text. image, PDF. and etc. (5) The united organizations of sinological resources enable us to avoid duplicated investigation and enhance service efficiency. Here are some factors to consider in order to accomplish ideal digitalization of sinological resources. (1) First of all, it is necessary to organize a control center for digitalization procedures of old materials, and allow it a certain degree of authority to develop and Proceed a comprehensive Plan. (2) Both short- and long-term plans need to be developed in order to analyze various aspects of digitalization process. and their steps need to be taken gradually (3) It is necessary to train experts for old materials and let them construct and manage DB.
Fashion is a field that responds sensitively to social and cultural atmospheres, brings about constant change due to consumer demand for new items in new fashion trends and in the latest design. The fashion industry tries to predict what kind of clothing the customers desires and produces fashion products according to trend information stated by fashion information services. This research analyses the relativity between the trends stated in the fashion information books and what consumer accept, and with this information find the application of trend information books in the planning of domestic woman's clothing. The used information books were based on Samsung Fashion Institute and Interfashion Planning, Inc. The 02/03 F/W season emphasized restoration-romantic, nostalgic mood themes. Fashion trend information and consumer acceptance condition tend to concentrate on trend themes given tv fashion information companies. In other words, $Sincere\;girl(39.04\%){\to}Frontier\;girl(34.92\%){\to}Dark\;lady(18.43\%){\to}Lady\;belle(7.59\%)$ in this order Also when looking into the consumer's wearing, no one theme appears by itself and the themes are mixed accordingly to one's lifestyle and sensibility. Accordingly fashion information organizations must provide precise fashion trends according to consumer sensibility & consumption and also compare trend information to consumer fashion trends each season. With this precise information the planned design plans will help the domestic fashion markets, which are gradually overrun by foreign brands, develop a unique and original fashion product that meets consumer sensitivity needs, and develop a new stepping stone for fashion companies and the relative fashion industry and furthermore contribute to the advancement of overseas markets.
As issues of education, employment and so on, the medical issue is one of the hot spots of society in China today. The health system reform which was pushed ahead after China's Revolution and open to the outside world hasn't received great progress. Many actual problems haven't been solved, for example it is difficult and expensive to see a doctor. With the development of the economy and society, the citizen's legal consciousness has gradually risen. They make a claim for better medical service. At the same time, the number of the disputes of medical care arises annually. China has sped up the opening of service trade for fulfilling promises of entry the WTO since 2001. China has already opened many service trade fields, including medical field. From the domestic perspective, there are many problems in domestic medical department. From the international perspective, China's present medical level falls behind the world advanced medical level. Under this background, it is a bold act for China to open the medical service field to foreign investors. Today, a huge medical service market is developed in China. However, the government's investment to medical devices and the financing channels is limited. Therefore, it is inevitable that individuals, social organizations and foreign investors invest to the medical market. In view of the situation, Chinese government issued a series of relevant laws and rules. In recent years, many multinational companies, consortiums, charitable institutions, enterprises and individuals establish various medical institutions in China. But there are rare research in the actuality and legal subject of foreign investment to Chinese medical market. Hence, it is necessary to realize the actuality of foreign investment to Chinese medical market, to familiar with the elements and procedure of establishing foreign joint and cooperative medical institution. Meanwhile, analyzing the existing problems and posing the legal subject have important theoretic and practical value.
The consumers' purchase experiences of some imported agricultural products (rice, sesame, garlic, onion, jujube, red pepper, oak mushroom, apple, dried persimmon) and their consciousness for the labelling of the country of origin for agricultural products in Youngnam region were examined in this study. The sample consisted of 438 women who lived in Taegu, Pusan and other cities of Kyungpook and Kyungnam, and the self-administered questionnaire for the survey was used. The main reasons to purchase the imported agricultural products were the wide distribution and low price of them. Most of the consumers were concerned about safety of the imported agricultural products but only a few people experienced unsatisfaction of the products. The price, quality, package, container, label, and safety of the examined products were evaluated worse than those of the domestic products. Generally, although they suffered unsatisfaction, the consumers did not complain because they wanted to avoid troublesome work, which means the consumers did not assert their rights. Some people did not know the labelling system for the country of origin and the place to charge the market violating it. Therefore, it will be necessary for the consumers to receive education about the labelling system for the country of origin and the compensation criteria for consumers' grievances and damages. The current labelling method for the country of origin generally met the consumers' preference but the consumers wanted to improve the position and color of the label. Most consumers could not differentiate the imported products from the domestic products. The results obtained from the survey suggest consumer education for the labelling system for the country of origin and the compensation criteria should be activated through various ways such as mass media and consumer organizations.

Life science is one of the most important fields which have direct influence on human life. Many domestic life scientists in the industries, educational organizations and research institutes have been producing important results in a variety of forms such as papers, research notes, presentation materials, books and teaching materials. Open Archiving Community has been constructed in order to share and exchange research information related to life science between researchers. The domestic life scientists can acquire valuable information through the community quickly and efficiently. In this study, the community system has been designed and implemented to provide free access to all data including metadata registry of the bibliographic information on life science and research results accumulated by researchers of their own accord. The community system also has been designed and implemented based on Web 2.0 and provides users with BBS by subjects.
