This study was conducted to suggest the best union fabric to combine with cellulose fiber for summer and in-between seasons. Four types of union fabric, viz. silk/flax, silk/cotton, rayon/flax and rayon/cotton, were used as sample fabrics after weaving them in a local textile factory. The air permeability, moisture regain, water absorption, water vapor permeability and thermal insulation of the samples were tested. The results are as follows. The rayon/flax union fabric is the most suitable for summer clothes due to its having the best comfort property of air and water vapor permeability, and moisture and water absorption. For in-between seasons, it is recommended to use the silk/cotton union fabric because of its good thermal insulation properties.

This study determined how the upper body shape of elderly women changes with age in order to improve the fit of clothing worn by elderly women. Thirty-nine healthy elderly Japanese women had their body measurements taken by measuring tape and a 3D body line scanner (Hamamatsu Model #C9036-02) from December 2011 to March 2012 at a university in Tokyo. It was found that the shoulder line shortens in women between the ages of 70 and 74, but that the upper arm lengthens in women between the ages of 75 and 79. It was also found that the upper part of the scapular area rolls forward in women between the ages of 70 and 74, and that the point of the back which protrudes the most-the lower scapular area-rolls forward in women between the ages of 75 and 79. The results will be helpful for designing clothes for elderly women as their body shape changes with age.

This paper analyses current densities induced inside human body of lineman for 765kV transmission line when he wears a protective cloth or not. Applying the boundary element method, we calculate current densities induced in organs inside a worker in case he was located at 15[cm], 30[cm], 50[cm], and 100[cm] far from a prefabricated jumper. As results of study, we find a maximum current density induced in all organs may be higher than $10[mA/m^2]$ if he does not wear protective clothes. We also know high permeability materials can lower current density more than high conductivity materials.

The research of the current situation of made-to-measure production by ready-made men's suit companies was done by interviewing and surveying the made-to-measure specialists. It was apparent that most frequently purchased items in Mass Customization were jackets of formal dress. The results of the research on the current situation of Mass Customization by ready-made clothes companies were as follows. The Mass Customization accounted for 3∼10%. The advantages of Mass Customization were more acceptable sizes, designs and details while the initial reasons for it were unusual physical figures and designs. The posture of a customer during measuring turned out to be critical enough to influence fitness after production. The companies in the research were found out to have materials for Mass Customization in storage and the sizes and other data of fixed circle of customers who would want Mass Customization saved in computer in most of the cases.

In this thesis considering the problems shown in the usage of interlining of clothes and in the process of sewing the breaking away strength which is meant by adhesion is analysed by experimennt in which Polyamide content is dealed with at the 5 level to raise the adhesive strength by using the one-sided non woven adhesive interlining made in this country as the samples. After examing the optimum in the process of Cotton and polyester fabrics and adhered fabrics practical for blouse and jacket and analysing the breaking away strength the wanted property of matter and the change with the repeated laundry We reach at the following results. 1. The adhesive strength of the two adhered fabrics were strongly appeared in order of cotton>polyester. 2. The order of the breaking away strength by the interlinings of adhesive fabrics was A5> A4> A3> A2> A1. 3. The breaking away strength of the two adhered fabrics was weakened by the repeated laundry and the breaking away phenomena were fewer under the most suitable conditions than the various conditions.

Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) is a representative hydrophilic and water-soluble polymer and widely employed in various applications such as fibers for clothes and industries, films, membranes, medicines for drug delivery system, and cancer cell-killing embolic materials. Moreover, PVA fibers, gels, and films are potentially high-performance materials because they have high tensile and impact strengths, high tensile modulus, high abrasion resistance, excellent alkali resistance, and oxygen barrier property which are superior to those of any known polymers[1,2]. Costume of each age reflects its own history. Military costume is an reflections of war, social and geometrical background. Soldiers on their uniforms were at the battlefields with their lives and country on their shoulders. The main purpose of this writing is to study military costume of ancient empires in historical Point of view including especially those of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Crete, Greece, Etruria, Rome. As we will see, ancient military costume developed from earlier stages of uniforms into military costume in various ways. The types of military costume formed itself gradually but rapidly into sophisticated, useful, and excellent quality clothes. Military costume of early ancient empires signified its strength and were actual and symbolic costume that determined life and death, glory and disgrace.

The main purpose of this study was to give a right and proper direction in high school girls' uniforms through the comparison of the attitude toward school uniforms and free choice of wearing clothings. The samples were consisted of 319 high school girls' students in Gwanju and Mokpo. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage and chi-square test. The finding of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Students prefered to take uniforms than self·control clothes. The greatest reason for the agreement on uniforms is th,It uniforms make sure the identity of the students. The problem in uniform was the disconvenience for activity. 2. Preference for uniform style was semi-fitted double jacket, flat collar blouse, vest and pleated skirt. 3. They make choice of prefering color were green, bluepurple and white, free-choice clothing color were green, light yellow and light blue and uniform color were bluepurple, darkblue and black.
