여대생들의 T-Commerce 쇼핑 태도에 관한 연구 - 패션제품을 중심으로 - (T-Commerce Shopping Attitudes Among Female College Students - Focused on Fashion Products -)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among technology innovation (perceived ease of use, perceived ease, joyfulness), individual variables (innovation, self-efficacy), fashion variables (fashion involvement, interest in celebrity style), shopping attitudes toward fashion T-Commerce, and purchasing intention. Two hundred seven female participants in age group of 20s participated in this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, simple and multiple regression, and Cronbach's Alpha were used to test the research questions. As the result, first, all three variables (perceived ease of use, perceived ease, joyfulness) from technology innovation did affect on attitudes toward fashion T-Commerce. Second, individual innovation did affect positively on attitudes toward fashion T-Commerce. Third, interest in celebrity style affected positively on attitudes toward fashion T-Commerce. Finally, attitudes toward fashion T-Commerce affected positively on purchasing intention of fashion T-Commerce. Based on these results, T-Commerce fashion merchandising marketing strategies of fashion goods would be provided to fashion T-Commerce retailers or marketers.

What Kind of Fun Food Marketing Do Customers Want?

  • Purpose of the research: This study aims to explain the state of marketing using fun among recent popular marketing strategies. Although companies are using various differentiated marketing strategies to gain a competitive edge, among them, fun marketing has constituted the most effective area of interest recently. Research design and methodology: To extract the customer selection attributes of fun marketing, after reviewing the literature, six optional attributes were selected from the factors of fun marketing towards consumers such as funny design, language play, celebrity use, funny taste, how to eat, and newtro (new + retro). Out of 300 questionnaires, 276 were used for analysis, excluding unscrupulous or incomplete questionnaires. The results were reviewed for validity and reliability using SPSS andAMOS, and the hypothesis was verified using structural equation modelling (SEM). Principal results: The results showed that funny design, language play, and newtro statistically significantly affected customer satisfaction, but celebrity use, funny taste, and eating methods had no significant effect. It was also confirmed that satisfaction had a statistically significant effect on repurchase intention. Major conclusions: This study can serve as basic data to enhance the marketing strategy of the food service industry, and it provides theoretical and practical implications.

우울증에 관한 언론 보도 분석: 온라인 뉴스 미디어를 중심으로 (Analyzing Online News Media Coverage of Depression)

  • 유명인의 자살이 잇달아 발생하고 그 원인으로 우울증이 지목되면서 언론보도 전반에서 우울증에 대한 보도량이 늘고 있다. 그러나 선행연구의 부족으로 이러한 보도들이 질적인 측면에서 우울증을 건강행동이 필요한 질병으로 심층적으로 다루고 있는지는 불분명하다. 본 연구는 이를 알아보기 위해 2007년부터 약 5년간 온라인 전문 뉴스 미디어의 우울증 보도를 살펴보았다. 정신질환에 대한 선행연구들이 신문과 텔레비전 같은 전통적인 미디어에 초점을 맞춘데 반해, 본 연구는 최근 이용 빈도와 사회적 영향력 측면에서 중요한 온라인 보도를 분석했다. 연구 결과, 우울증 보도에 가장 많이 등장하는 정보원은 연예인, 스포츠스타, 정/재계 인사를 비롯한 유명인 환자였고, 일반인 환자와 비교해 4배 정도 많이 나타났다. 심지어 환자가 아닌 유명인도 일반인 환자보다 2배 이상 많이 등장했고, 의사를 비롯한 전문가도 유명인 환자의 절반 수준 밖에 등장하지 않았다. 또한 분석대상 기사의 약 3분의 1이 우울증의 원인에 대해 전혀 언급하지 않았고, 불우한 환경이나 소심한 성격 등 사회 심리 환경적 원인을 언급한 기사가 전체의 절반이 넘었으며 소수의 기사만이 뇌신경 손상, 호르몬 변화와 같은 신경생물학적 원인을 언급했다. 우울증의 치료방식 역시 분석 대상 기사의 절반 이상에서 전혀 언급되지 않았고, 의사 상담과 약물치료 같은 적극적 치료방식을 제시한 기사가 식이요법, 운동 및 주변 사람들과의 대화와 같은 소극적 치료방식을 제시한 기사에 비해 2배 이상 많았다. 전반적으로 우울증의 원인과 치료방식에 관해 언급하는 정도는 유명인 환자 중심의 기사에서 보다 일반인 환자 중심의 기사에서 높게 나타났다. 원인과 치료방식이 제시되는 정도 간 관계를 분석한 결과, 기사 내에서 우울증의 원인으로 신경생물학적 원인이 많이 제시될수록 적극적 치료방식과 소극적 치료방식 모두 제시되는 정도가 높게 나타났다. 한편 우울증 보도에 가장 많이 나타난 뉴스 프레임은 개인이 겪은 일화를 소개하는 인간적 흥미 프레임이었고, 사건, 사고, 분쟁을 다룬 갈등 프레임과 홍보 및 프로모션을 목적으로 한 상업적 프레임이 그 뒤를 따랐다. 또한 우울증 관련 보도에 한때 우울증을 겪었던 사람들이 회복한 후 이룬 긍정적인 업적이나 성취와 같은 내용이 나타나는 경우는 매우 적었다.

Exploring Gender Differences in Motivations for Using Sina Weibo

  • While Facebook and Twitter get worldwide attention, these popular SNSs are not available in China. As the leading local SNS, Sina Weibo has garnered much of the attention in China. The purpose of the study was to explore why Chinese college students use Sina Weibo and if gender differences exist in the motivations for using it. The results from a survey of 360 respondents show that Chinese students used Sina Weibo mainly for information-gathering, followed by accessibility to celebrity, social connection, self-presentation and entertainment. Among them the most dominant reason for using Sina Weibo was found to be information-gathering. This finding suggests that Sina Weibo functions as a platform to search for information on social issues and interests. The study also found that these motivations were significantly different between male and female users. Interestingly, female respondents used Sina Weibo much more broadly than male counterparts, accessing it to satisfy all needs such as information gathering, accessibility to celebrity, social connection, self-presentation and entertainment. Based on these findings limitations and direction for future studies are discussed.

제품관여도, 광고모델에 따른 소비자 태도차이 연구 (Differences in Attitude -Based on Advertising Model and Consumer Product Involvement-)

  • This study investigates the differences in advertisement attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intention based on advertising model and consumer product involvement. A total of 100 respondents in high involvement and 100 respondents in low involvement categories were exposed to the advertisements of a cosmetic brand using 4 different model types: celebrity endorser, expertise endorser, ordinary person as an endorser, and no endorser. The experiment was planned as $2{\times}4$ types including high/low involvement and 4 different model types (25 respondents each). After looking at an advertisement for 1 minute, respondents were asked to answer a survey measuring advertisement attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intension. The results of this study showed that 6 hypotheses were supported and there was a significant difference between the high involvement and low involvement group depending on the advertising models used as well as the advertisement that influence advertisement attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intension. High involvement consumers showed the most favorable advertisement attitude on an advertisement with an expertise endorser, but low involvement consumers showed the most favorable advertisement attitude on an advertisement with a celebrity endorser. High involvement consumers showed the most favorable brand attitude on an advertisement with an expertise endorser whereas low involvement consumers showed the most favorable brand attitude on an advertisement with a celebrity endorser. High involvement consumers showed the highest purchase intention on an advertisement with an expertise endorser whereas low involvement consumers showed no difference in purchase intention depending on advertisement models. This study shows that marketers should differentiate advertising strategies based on consumer involvement.

스포츠 브랜드 광고 모델과 브랜드 인지도, 자기관에 따른 소비자의 호의도에 관한 연구 (The Effects of Sports Brand Advertising Model, Brand Recognition, and Consumer Subjectivity on Consumers' Preference)

  • As economy is growing and income level is increasing, more people are pursuing relaxation and leisure in their life. As the sports market in Korea is flourishing, sports wear companies have begun to focus marketing their brand by carefully selecting advertising models in order to get more exposure for their brands. The purpose of this study was to analyze, the effects of the advertising model types had on the company's brand recognition, and consumer subjectivity on consumer's preference and purchasing intention were studied. The subjects for the study were 260 men and women in their 20~30s living in Seoul and Gyunggi province. Three-way ANOVA was conducted for the data analysis. The results showed significant interactions between the three independent variables on preference. Although there were various advertising model types due to the improvement of media, (brand advertisement employing) the well known celebrity model was more effective for raising consumer brand awareness compared to non-celebrity models.

유명 연예인 자살보도가 일반인의 자살시도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Famous Entertainer's Suicides on Suicide Attempts of the Public)

  • Purpose: The study explored the influence of the suicide of two famous entertainers on the suicide attempts of the public. Method: The subjects of the descriptive study were 888 suicide attempt patients recruited from October 2007 to September 2009 in an emergency centre located in S-city. The research tools were developed at the Centre for Disease Control. Results: The frequency of suicide attempts during the 6 months and 12 months preceding and following the gas-related suicide of celebrity A were ${\chi}^2$=18.14 and ${\chi}^2$=25.97, respectively, and both were significant(both p<.001). The frequency of suicide attempts of the 6 and 12months before and after the release of report of celebrity B's hanging suicide were ${\chi}^2$=3.85 and ${\chi}^2$=3.47, respectively, and both were significant (both p<.05). Conclusion: These results showed that reports of suicide of celebrities influences suicide attempts of the public. Multiple factors that can influence suicide attempts should be further identified and researched.

Factors Affecting Online Purchase Decision, Customer Satisfaction, and Brand Loyalty: An Empirical Study from Indonesia's Biggest E-Commerce

  • Purpose: The development of online shopping trends in Indonesia is increasing, and Tokopedia is becoming one of the most popular e-commerce websites. The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence whether mobile shopping, customer review, perceived credibility, and Korean celebrity endorsement affect online purchase decision, whether online purchase decision affects customer satisfaction, and whether customer satisfaction affects brand loyalty of customers in Tokopedia e-commerce. Research Design, data and methodology: Quantitative survey with data was collected using an online questionnaire with sample characteristics were Tokopedia customers who lived in Jakarta by 385 samples using the purposive sampling method, and data analysis was conducted using the Smartpls application program version 3.0. Results: Mobile shopping, customer review, and perceived credibility had positive effects on online purchase decision at Tokopedia in Jakarta. However, Korean celebrity endorsement did not have a positive effect on online purchase decision at Tokopedia in Jakarta. Furthermore, online purchase decision had a positive effect on customer satisfaction at Tokopedia in Jakarta, and customer satisfaction had a positive effect on brand loyalty at Tokopedia in Jakarta. Conclusions: This study proposes significant implications for maintaining customer relationships to achieve purchasing decision, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty in the e-commerce industry.

K 패션 착용경험에 관한 연구 -20~30대 네팔, 베트남, 몽골 외국인을 중심으로- (A Study on Foreigners' Experience ofWearingK Fashion -Focusing on Nepalese, Vietnamese, and Mongolian Foreigners in 20s and 30s-)

  • This study aimed to investigate the perceptions and preferences of foreigners residing in Korea towards K-fashion. It sought to provide suggestions for the future development of K-fashion targeting this growing demographic. The results revealed that the longer foreigners had lived in Korea, the more positively they rated Korean fashion, shopping, and culture. The majority of foreigners purchased K-fashion items online, with popular choices including T-shirts, jackets, shirts, and jeans. Both men and women identified shoulders as a common problematic area when wearing clothing, with some issues also reported in the lumbar region. In terms of preferences, younger males (teens and twenties) were more inclined towards fads and celebrity wear compared to older males (thirties and forties). Similarly, younger females (teens and twenties) showed a higher preference for functionality and celebrity wear compared to older females (thirties and forties). These findings suggest that men tend to prioritize aesthetic factors when choosing K-fashion, while women prioritize practical considerations. To better cater to foreign consumers, suggestions for the development of K-fashion include promoting it through K-pop stars, considering dimensions related to foreigners' shoulders when designing top items, diversifying colors, sizes, and patterns, and providing English versions of online shopping platforms.

패션 커뮤니케이션 매체로서의 패션 전시에 관한 연구 -2012 노라 노 <라 비 엥 로즈> 전시 사례를 중심으로- (Fashion Exhibition as Fashion Communication Media -Focus on the 2012 Nora Noh La Vie en Rose Exhibition-)

  • Fashion exhibitions in museums and galleries is a form of fashion communication media. This thesis examines the messages, objects, and space of fashion exhibitions as fashion communication media as well as analyzes the method of fashion communication. This thesis first provides a theoretical study on fashion exhibition and conducts a case study of the 2012 Nora Noh Retro Exhibition La Vie en Rose (2012/5/23-6/2, Horim GNB Gallery, Seoul), dedicated to the first Korean female fashion designer. The message of the exhibition was the fashion philosophy and the fashion style of the designer as well as the intention of the curator. The objects presented were the dresses kept by the loyal customers of the brand, and the homage items by designers of present generation. The space designs of the exhibition were the layout and total coordination of the opening event. The methods of fashion communication for the fashion exhibition, in the case of the La Vie en Rose exhibition, were communicated (1) from the past to the present, (2) from designers to celebrities and (3) from the designer to the celebrity and the viewers. From the past to the present, the designer's style throughout the 60 years of her fashion career is conveyed to the present generation fashion people, in the form of homage designs and collaboration works. From designers to celebrities, her fashion philosophy was delivered in the form of movie and stage costumes. Some present generation celebrities tried reinterpretations of the garment. From the designer to the celebrity and the viewers of the exhibition, the intention of the curator and the designer were individualized and internalized by the viewers.
