  • Recently, Housing projects in the center of the Metropolis are getting higher, larger, more complex gradually, the resources are increasing greatly. Especially, the right manpower in the right place could quite important factor because the construction cites are wide and many subcontractors and labors throw into finish works in High-rise Housing projects. Differing from apartment building projects. it is only four or five years that high rise building projects are started so, there is little data for manpower information. Furthermore it is difficult that the data gathering and managing because manpower management is usually used to execute by subcontractors from supply to demand. Consequently, this study, proposed develop management for accurate manpower plan and efficient collection and practical use of manpower information through analysis of present condition in construction sites

  • Hereafter, the housing construction industry in a domestic country has to give more relative importance to the redevelopment and the rebuilding of existing housing rather then the housing supply methods by the development of new housing sites, and those tendencies are rapidly spreading out. Also, because apartment occupies $50\%$ over of the existing housing, its maintenance, repair, remodeling and reconstruction got to be necessary area for the slumming prevention of a residential area and the disaster prevention occurred by durability lowering of building. But, as having focused on the housing supply methods by the development of new housing sites, the domestic construction industry has relatively carelessly dealt with deconstruction areas including maintenance, remodeling, redevelopment and reconstruction of old existing housing. Therefore the process of the deconstruction is not well suited to regulations and related technology. This paper suggests the present situation of C&D production and new demolition process through comparative analysis of the present demolition works.

  • In order to increase energy efficiency, developments of the advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) in the smart grid technology have recently been actively conducted. An essential part of AMI is analyzing power consumption and forecasting consumption patterns. In this paper, we analyze the power consumption and summarized the data errors. Monthly power consumption patterns are also analyzed using the k-means clustering algorithm. Forecasting the consumption pattern by each household is difficult. Therefore, we first classify the data into 100 clusters and then predict the average of the next day as the daily average of the clusters based on the deep neural network. Using practically collected AMI data, we analyzed the data errors and could successfully conducted power forecasting based on a clustering technique.

  • These days the land category is the most specific basis of legal for land use or land use form that is determined by the main use of land. Even if same land building site, it is used very various like a detached house, a row house, a multiplex house, a villa, an apartment, a mixed-use Apartments, commercial building, fallow land etc. There is a need of variety analysis in order to apply greenhouse gas emission or statistics assessment for standard of classification. Therefore, This study measured carbon dioxide by for different government agencies of maps by land use time, season, elevation, space, area of floating population. As a result, The emission characteristic was high l.78 times, on average of l.35 times in winter compared with summer, when the temperatures increased 11C, the carbon dioxide is 22ppm high in the afternoon, A commercial building is high 4.04 times compare with detached house.

  • The pipes used in buildings are generally categorized into metallic or plastic materials. Metal pipes, such as copper and stainless steel pipes, are mainly used for water and hot water supply, and for the heating system. However, plastic pipes made of polyethylene and cross-linked polyethylene are used for floor heating, water drainage, and air vent systems. Usually, plastic pipes have thermal demerits, such as high linear expansion coefficients and bending phenomenon by hot water, although the pipes have several merits of light weight, low price, low thermal conductivity, and the comparatively high workability of metal pipes. Therefore, if those kind of demerits are overcome, plastic pipes can be easily accepted for hot water systems. This research is aimed to evaluate the applicability for vertical heating pipes of a plastic pipe system consisting of electric fusion fitting of a conductive carbon compound and propylene random glass fiber pipe, through measurement of the expansion rate and leakage in summer and winter seasons, in the apartment construction field.

  • Reflecting the fact that there are increasing number of old high-story apartment structures in urban area, it is expected that the demand of blasting demolition will increase in the near future. It is of great important to make up for the insufficient empirical knowledge in blasting demolition through priori method such as computer simulation. Computer simulation of the blasting demolition involves complicated process. In the past domestic researches, two-dimensional bonded particle model was used to examine the overall demolition behavior of a five-story simple structure. It was observed that the two-dimensional simulation did not properly simulate the collapsing behavior of a structure mainly due to the reduced degree of freedom. In this study, three-dimensional simulation was tried. It consumed a great amount of calculation time, which limited the extent of the study. A few parameters, such as delay times, amount of charge at each hole, ball properties, were modified in order to check oui; their effect on the collapsing behavior. The differences were observed as expected but the collapsing behavior did not exactly coincide with the test blasting with a scaled model.

  • A leaf blight caused by a species of Phytophthora was found on fatsia plants (Fatsia japonica Decne et Planch.) growing in an apartment garden in Daegu, Korea in late April to May, 2003. The species of Phytophthora isolated from the diseased plants produced sporangia and sex organs on V8 juice agar medium. Sporangia were papillate, ovoid to subspherical, and caducous with a pedicel. The dimensions of the sporangia were $31.2-46.8\times23.4-33.2{\mu}m$ in range, $39.6\pm4.1\times28.3\pm2.8{\mu}m$ in $average{\pm}standard$ deviation, I/b ratio approximately 1.40, with papillae about $3.6{\mu}m$ high, and pedicels $0.95.8{\mu}m$ long. Oogonia were spherical, $25.0-32.5{\mu}m$ in range with an average of $28.2\pm2.3{\mu}m$ in diameter. Antheridia were predominantly paragynous, globose to ovoid, $8.8-13.8\times7.5-10.0{\mu}m$ with an average of $10.9\pm1.2 \times9.2\pm1.1{\mu}m$. Oospores in the oogonia were aplerotic or plerotic, and $20.0-25.0{\mu}m$ in diameter with an average of $23.5\pm1.5{\mu}m$. Pathogenicity of the isolate was confirmed on detached leaves of fatsia. The disease was observed only in April and May of 2003 when the weather was unusually wet. It then diminished with increase of temperature in the year and did not appear again on the same plants in 2004. Thus, the fungus appeared to be a relatively weak pathogen of fatsia.

  • Property auctions have become a new method for real estate investment because the property auction market grows in tandem with the growth of the real estate market. This study focused on the statistical model for predicting bid price rates which is the main index for participants in the real estate auction market. For estimating the monthly bid price rate, we proposed a new method to make up for the mean of regions and terms as well as to reduce the prediction error using a decision tree analysis. We also proposed a linear regression model to predict a bid price rate for individual auction property. We applied the proposed model to apartment auction property and tried to predict the bid price rate as well as categorize individual auction property into an auction grade.

  • The objective of this study is to find out the recent trends of hanok design based on 58 hanoks appeared in architecture magazines in the last 10 years. The cases are analyzed in terms of location, size, building form, spatial organization, material, roof form, and the ceiling form of living room. The consequences of this study is as follows; Most of the recent hanoks are built in rural area (91.4%), which shows the hanok is not accepted as an urban house type. Hanoks tend to be built in 2 stories whose 2nd floor is smaller than the 1st floor. (34.5%) The preferred size is total floor area of $99.2{\sim}165.2m^2$ (62.0%), 3 rooms (46.6%) with a traditional ondol room (60.3%). The buildings with ㄱ-shape (43.1%) and linear-shape (27.6%) are preferred, and the compact plan type similar with apartment house appears (13.8%). In the roof design that greatly influences the appearance of building, the traditional design factors such as half-hipped roof (55.2%), double eaves (27.6%), and eaves curve tend to be sustained. In terms of spatial organization, most of recent hanoks have double-layed plan (74.2%). The living room mostly has separately defined space. (82.8%) The indoor and outdoor tend to be connected by a narrow wooden veranda (39.7%), while some cases don't have any wooden floor space (48.3%). The entrance is adopted as an important spatial element in front part of building (75.9%), and it influences the appearance of building. The living room, the counterpart of the wooden floor hall in traditional hanok, and kitchen tend to be interiorized. In terms of material, the cement roof tile and red clay brick are preferred. Consequently, the walls of recent hanoks have the image of brick structure rather than the wooden frame structure of traditonal hanok.

  • Since powerline for powerline communications (PLC) is designed for supplying electric power using 60 Hz wave, they will have different electrical behaviors for high data rate PLC whose bandwidth is allocated between 1 MHz and 30 MHz. Thus, it is necessary to investigate the different properties in this frequency bandwidth for the high data rate PLC. In this paper, low voltage (220V) powerline impedance for indoor high data rate PLC in between 1 MHz and 30 MHz is measured. For measurement a low voltage coupling unit is made and a vector network analyzer is used. A T-equivalent circuit of the low voltage coupling unit is obtained and then powerline impedance is derived by measuring the reflection coefficient of the total powerline network. With the method proposed, impedance is measured in case of a general korean apartment and its property is analyzed. Measurement shows that the average impedance is about 100Ω.
