정보통신기술 활용에 대한 인식과 장애요인 - 한국농수산대학 학생들을 대상으로 - (An Assessment of Readiness and Barriers toward ICT Tools - The Case of Korea National College of Agriculture and Fishery -)

  • This study aims to examine agricultural college students' perception of readiness and barriers towards implementation of ICT program. Data were gathered from 175 student of agricultural college in Korea. Descriptive statistics, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, t-test, and one-way ANOVA were applied to analyze the data. Results reveal that technology usefulness perception scores were high among the readiness components, but students readiness and school infrastructure readiness were low. Results also shows that policy and technology factors were also seen as the main barriers of ICT program implementation. Findings show that demographic variables did not significantly affect readiness and obstacles. The results of this study can provide guidance to the government or agricultural college organizations when considering readiness and barriers towards implementing ICT programs. In addition, this study contributes to improve the theory of adoption behavior and contributes to the foundation for future research aimed at improving our understanding of agricultural college students' behavior.

  • Unstable crop production and distribution affected by climate change and COVID-19 pandemic has raised the food security concerns worldwide. In particular, Russia's invasion to Ukraine has blocked the grain trade such as wheat and com to importing countries, which has aggravated the situation. Korea has relied on foreign imports for about 80% of domestic grain demand, raising great concerns on food security. Considering situations related to Korea's food security, some points in view of a crop scientist are suggested and discussed as follows; 1) Domestic production of major grain crops should be increased through encouraging farmers by appropriate governmental subsidy programs 2) International corporation should be strengthened and diversified for sustainable overseas agricultural development and for stable import even in case of food crisis and emergency. 3) Self-sufficiency target should be specified by law so that more budget investments could be put to alleviate the food security concerns. 4) Technologies for climate smart agriculture and for competitive agricultural products should be developed aided by social and governmental support.

표면처리에 의한 오일팜 EFB 기반 펄프몰드의 흡수특성 변화 (Changes in the Water Absorption Properties of Pulp Mold manufactured with Oil Palm EFB by surface treatments)

  • The applicability of oil palm biomass, EFB(Empty Fruit Bunch) as raw materials for environmental friendly packaging material, pulp mold, was evaluated in this study. The changes in the water absorption properties of pulp mold by the addition of EFB and the surface treatments with PVA and AKD were analyzed by measuring the changes in the water absorption rate and the water contact angle. The each pulp mold sample was prepared by using laboratory wet pulp molder. And the water absorption rate of each samples were evaluated by measuring times for the absorption of a 0.1 ml water drop on the pulp mold sample surface. The addition of EFB to the pulp mold made of OCC resulted in the decrease of water absorption rate and the increase in the water contact angle. The surface treatments with PVA and AKD on the OCC pulp mold showed the significant reduction in the water absorption rate. However, in case of ONP pulp mold, the addition of EFB and the surface treatments with PVA and AKD showed no big changes in water absorption times. Those might be come from the finer surface structure of ONP pulp mold which were made of more finer and flexible fibers and more hydrophilic fibers. The results of this study showed the functional properties such as water absorption rate, could be controlled by the application of EFB and the treatments with AKD or PVA, especially in case of the OCC pulp mold.

물순환장치 가동에 따른 농업용저수지의 3차원 이송확산모의에 관한 연구 (A Study on 3-Dimensional Advection-Diffusion Model Operating Density Current Generator in Agriculture Lake)

  • 본 논문은 국내 농업용저수지의 성층현상을 방지하고자 물순환장치를 설치하였을 때, 3차원 수리해석모델인 EFDC를 이용하여 부유물질 이송확산모의를 하였다. 이를 통해 물순환장치의 이송확산범위를 예측하고, 다양한 운전인자를 조절함으로써 최적의 운전인자를 도출하여 물순환으로 인한 내부변화의 영향을 최소화하고자 하였다. 3차원 이송확산모의 결과에 의하면, 30일 이후에 전 수층에 걸쳐 물순환이 시작되며, 100일 이후 저수지의 전체순환이 가능한 것으로 모의되었다. 또한, 연속운전보다 간헐운전이 저수지 전 구간에서 이송확산농도가 낮게 나타났으며, 안정적으로 전체순환이 일어났다. 물순환장치의 표층과 저층 혼합비율은 표층 혼합율이 높을수록 저수지 영향을 감소시킬 수 있으며, 3:1 동일조건일 경우, Case 8(50일운전:50일정지) 조건이 저수지의 내부영향을 최소화할 수 있을 것으로 나타났다.

  • IT 와 농업 및 축산업의 융합은 생산, 유통, 소비 분야에서의 효율과 질적 향상을 기대하게 되었고 특히 IT 영역의 정보 분석 기술과 자동제어 기술은 농산물 생산에 많은 장점을 제공하게 되었다. 네트워크 기반에서의 농축산업 분야 ICT 확대는 기술적, 환경적인 측면에서의 어려움들을 해결하게 되었으며 ICT 융합을 주도하는 국내 및 국제 표준기구에서는 최근 스마트 농축산업 영역에서의 필수 기술 항목을 표준화하여 다양한 문제를 해결하려고 시도하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IT와 접목한 스마트 농축산업 환경에서의 ICT 표준화 중점 항목을 분석하고 로드맵을 제시한다.

Post-2020 국가 보호지역 시스템 관리를 위한 기타 효과적인 지역 기반 보전 수단(OECMs) 후보지역 유형 검토 (Reviewing the Candidate Types for Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures for Post-2020 Management Related to National Protected Areas System)

  • This study aims to systematically review the candidate types for OECMs suitable for domestic conditions in areas related to the Korea Forest Service in order to achieve the goal of establishing the protected areas and OECMs system required by Post-2020 GBF, and to provide basic data for the establishment of the national protected areas system. As a result of the study, the selection criteria for OECMs were presented, and it was found that arboretums·botanical gardens, Natural Recreation Forests, and air holes may correspond to the Candidate Types for OECMs. As a result of evaluating the possible areas for OECMs based on the OECMs selection criteria, in the case of arboretums·botanical gardens, it is judged that only conservation areas can be designated as OECMs, except for areas mainly used by visitors of arboretums·botanical gardens that fall under the BGCI conservation type among national and public arboretums·botanical gardens. However, private and school arboretums·botanical gardens have personal property ownership, so it was judged to have no effective measures to control activities that may adversely affect biodiversity, which showed limitations in designation of OECMs. Natural Recreation Forests was found to meet the OECMs selection criteria. However, private forests have personal property ownership, which limits the designation of OECMs. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the function of in-situ conservation in order to meet the OECMs for private and school arboretums·botanical gardens, and private forests that have personal property ownership. To this end, effective measures are needed to achieve biodiversity conservation outcomes, and it is judged that legal control and corresponding support policies (incentives) are needed. In the case of air holes, for sustainable conservation, the management boundary of air holes should be clearly defined based on the preparation of laws and guidelines related to air holes. In addition, it is judged that it is desirable to designate the competent local forest office as the management authority and conduct periodic detailed surveys of air holes, establish and implement the conservation plans based on those.

우리나라 중부지역(中部地域)의 녹지자연도사정(綠地自然度査定)에 관한 연구(硏究) -공주(公州)·연기군지역(燕岐郡地域)의 조사사례(調査事例)를 중심(中心)으로- (Evaluation of the Degree of Green Naturality in Middle Part of Korea -With the Case Study in Area Gongju and Yeongi-gun, Choongnam-do-)

  • 인간(人間)의 활동(活動)이 자연환경(自然環境)의 자연성(自然性) 보존(保存)에 미친 영향을 파악하여 자연보존정책(自然保存政策)의 기본방향(基本方向) 설정(設定)에 기초 자료로 활용(活用)코자 녹지자연도(綠地自然度) 조사(調査)를 실시(實施)하였다. 녹지자연도(綠地自然度) 조사(調査)에 관한 기존(旣存)의 조정기준(調定基準)에 따라서 1983년(年) 하계(夏季)에 우리나라의 중심지방(中部地方)인 공주(公州) 및 연기지역(燕岐地域)에 대하여 조사(調査)한 결과(結果), 그 평균치(平均値)는 약 5.1~5.9로 비교적 높은 값을 보이며, 특히 DGN 7등급지(等級地)의 점유비(占有比)가 높았다. 이 연구(硏究)를 통하여 기존의 녹지자연도(綠地自然度) 조정기준(調定基準)을 중부지방(中部地方)에 적용함에는 다소의 문제점(問題點)이 있으므로 이에 대한 재검토(再檢討)가 요망(要望)되며, 또 조사방법(調査方法)에 있어서도 많은 개선점(改善點)이 검토(檢討)되었다.

실과교과 농업 생명 기술 영역에서의 지속가능발전을 위한 실천 방안 탐색 (Exploring Practical Methods On Agriculture Technology Education of the Practical Arts for Sustainable Development)

  • 본 연구는 실과교과의 농업 생명 기술 영역에서 지속가능발전을 위한 실천 방안을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구의 내용은 실과 교과에서의 지속가능발전에 대한 내용을 분석하고, 실과교과에서의 지속가능발전에 기초한 농업 생명 기술 교육의 실천 방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 연구 내용을 성취하기 위하여 'P 학교'를 대상으로 사례 연구를 진행하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 실과교과에서의 농업 생명 기술 영역에서 지속가능성은 친환경 미래 농업의 개념뿐만 아니라 사회적 교과 간 세대간 경제적인 '통합'개념에서 지속될 수 있는 가치로서 제시되어야 한다. 아울러 초등학생의 전인적 성장이 삶 속에서 농업교육의 노작 활동을 통해 교육과 자연의 순환구조 속에서 가치로운 실천이 될 수 있도록 해야 한다. 이 연구를 바탕으로 추후 실과교과의 농업 생명 기술 교육 영역에서 '통합'에 근거한 지속가능한발전을 위한 프로그램 개발이 이루어져야하며, 삶 속에서 이루어지는 가치 있는 체험을 위한 프로그램 개발이 이루어져야겠다.

  • We are now currently facing serious climate changes such as super typhoon, flood, intense heat, severe cold, super hurricane, drought, desertification, destruction of ecosystem, marine pollution, reduction of food production, destruction of tropical forests, exhaustion of water resources, climate refugees, etc. All of the above mainly derive from greenhouse gas exhaustion. Such harmful consequence might directly affect mankind's sustainable development. If we keep using resources that emits greenhouse gases, the global temperature will rise about $3.2^{\circ}C$ by year 2050. In case of $3^{\circ}C$ rise in temperature, it will result in abnormal climate which will bring about severe property damage. Moreover, 20~50% of the ecosystem will become extinct. As Korea's economy increasingly expands, so do our energy consumption rises. And because of the consequences that can be driven by increasing rate of resource use, not just Korea itself, but also the whole world should seriously concern about greenhouse gases. Although agricultural division only takes up about 3.2% of total greenhouse gas emission, the ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs are taking voluntary actions to gradually reduce $CO_2$ and so does each and every related organizations. In order to reduce $CO_2$, introduction of new and renewable energy in farm house warming is crucial. In other words, implementing wood-pellet boiler and geothermal heat boiler can largly reduce $CO_2$ emission compared to diesel boiler. More importantly, not only wood-pellet and geothermal heat is pollution-free but they also have economic advantages some-what. In this thesis, the economic advantage and sustainablity will be introduced and proved through comparing practical analysis of surveyed farm house under structure employing wood-pellet boiler and geothermal heat boiler with Agriculture-Economic Statistic of 2012 who uses diesel boiler.

기능성 유기충전제로서 오일팜 EFB 미세분 적용특성 (Evaluation of the applicability of oil palm EFB fines as a functional organic filler)

  • The applicability of oil palm EFB(Empty Fiber Bunch) to the papermaking process as a functional organic filler was investigated in this study. Since the EFB has similar chemical composition to the lignocellulose materials such as wood fiber, the fines of EFB was applied to the handsheet paper as an alternative to wood powder which were used as an organic filler to improve water removal efficiency and bulk. The experiments showed that the EFB fines resulted in the higher water removal efficiency at the wet pressing process and leaded to the higher bulk than those of wood powder. In case of 10 % addition of organic filler, the strength properties were not significantly changed. Those results suggested that the EFB could be used as a new organic filler for improving water removal efficiency and bulk property.
