아동 사고 예방 (Injury prevention for children)

  • Injury has now replaced disease as the biggest single cause of death in children after their first birthday. Each month one child dies from preventable, unintentional injury and the medical cost of these injury is increasing remarkably. It is necessary to develop injury prevention system to manage, evaluate and analysis the information about accident. This resource manual developed as a result of literature review of child care safety project which is based on the Kidsafe Tasmanian Division in Australia and the other resources. The purposes of this study is to; 1. Develop model to enable services to focus on injury prevention 2. Develop standardized child care injury report form 3. Develop home safety checklist 4. Development of injury prevention policies The suggestions to develop injury prevention policies : 1. detail analysis of injury occurrence 2. investigation of known intervention and their effectiveness 3. analysis of policy environment 4. development of policy on implementation of intervention 5. develop protocol and materials to develop an injury prevention focus 6. increase knowledge and awareness among staff and parents of where injuries were occurring and develop.

Novus-io: An Internet of Things Platform for Academic Projects

  • Internet of things (IoT) is based on a global dynamic information network with cloud services where a great number of devices (things) exchange data to provide added-value services and products. There are several commercial and open source IoT platforms available in the market to connect devices to internet; however, they have cost and operational constraints that make them not suitable for academic projects. In this work, an IoT platform, known as Novus-io, is introduced in order to support academic projects for undergraduate students. With this platform and proper training, undergraduate students from different majors (not only from information technology and electronics) are capable to upgrade their school projects with IoT functionalities. The objective of this approach is to provide to any undergraduate student skills and knowledge on IoT, so they will be prepared, in their imminent step toward professionalism, to understand the relevance of digital services in today's world.

  • 최근 ISO/TC211, OGC, INSPIRE 등 국제기구들을 중심으로 시맨틱 기술을 활용한 공간정보의 공유 노력이 진행되고 있다. 또한 스마트폰의 대중화와 소셜 네트워킹 서비스의 활성화로 인해 온라인 소셜 커뮤니티에서 이슈를 추출하기 위한 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 응용 수준에서 가용한 공간정보 온톨로지는 부족한 실정이며, 소셜 네트워크 서비스에서의 공간정보 추출 역시 텍스트 마이닝을 통한 지오코딩 부분에 집중되어 있다. 따라서 소셜 미디어 정보에서 공간 현상을 추출하여 시맨틱 공간 지식으로 변환하기 위한 방법은 매우 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. 또한 공간 현상을 단순한 빈발 키워드가 아닌 연관 이슈의 형태로 사용자에게 제공함으로써 공간상에 발생하는 이슈에 대한 이해도를 향상 시킬 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 소셜 미디어 서비스의 하나인 마이크로 블로그를 기반으로 데이터를 수집하여 데이터 마이닝 기술을 접목하여 연관 이슈를 추출하고, 이를 시공간 지식으로 변환하기 위한 공간 이슈 온톨로지 모델을 제안하였다. 이를 통해 향후 관련 시스템의 개발을 위한 참조모델 및 공간 온톨로지 구축을 위한 모델로써 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

결정요소 및 현장용어 지원 지식융합 수행 시스템 기반의 HS 관세분류 서비스에 관한 실증 연구 (A HS tariff classification service based on a knowledge convergence performance system supporting decision elements and field terms)

  • FTA(Free Trade Agreement) 환경에서 수출입 기업이 무관세 혜택을 받기위해서는 원산지 규정을 준수하는 일이고, 이를 위해 가장 먼저 선행되어야하는 것이 물품의 품목분류가 필요하다. 이를 위해서는 관세율표를 구성하고 있는 HS(Harmonized System) 품목분류의 기본원리에 대한 철저한 이해가 전제되어야하며, 품목에 대한 호(Heading)에서의 상품명에 대한 이해와 관련 영역(section)이나 해당 영역(chapter)의 주(Note)는 물론 해설서의 규정까지 이해하고 있어야 올바른 품목분류를 할 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문은 물품의 특성을 잘 알고 있는 경우, 업무 담당자도 쉽고 정확하게 분류할 수 있도록 품목분류의 결정에 영향을 줄 수 있는 7가지 결정요소를 시스템에서 먼저 제시하여 사용자가 선택하도록 하고, 각 산업에서 통상적으로 통용되는 현장용어 지식을 포함하는 융합적 수행시스템 기반의 HS 품목분류 서비스 개발을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 이 시스템의 실제 기업 현장 적용을 통해 효과를 검토하였다.

Research of Semantic Considered Tree Mining Method for an Intelligent Knowledge-Services Platform

  • 본 논문은 지식기반의 서비스 융합을 추구하는 4차산업혁명의 핵심 기반인 데이터로부터 유용하지만 드러나지 않는 정보들을 추출하는 방식을 제안한다. IoT로 대표되는 초연결사회에서 빅데이터의 생성은 필연적이며 그로부터 최적의 서비스를 도출하기 위해서는 가치있는 데이터를 찾아내는 것은 최우선으로 수행되어야 한다. 다양한 디바이스로부터 엄청난 양의 데이터를 수집·저장·관리하고 통합하는 데이터중심 IoT 플랫폼은 일종의 미들웨어 솔루션으로, 플랫폼의 궁극적인 목적은 빅데이터를 적시적소에 맞게 가공 및 분석수행 후 가치 있는 결과를 도출하여 최적의 답안을 제시하는 것이다. 이는 데이터를 분석하는 효율적이고 정확한 알고리즘을 필요로 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 분산되어 생성되는 IoT 데이터로부터 유용 정보 추출을 위해 시맨틱을 고려하여 원데이터를 저장하는 특화된 구조체를 설계하고 제안한 구조체에 기반하여 가치있는 정보를 찾아내기 위한 알고리즘을 다양한 정의와 증명을 사용하여 제시한다.

스마트폰의 지속적 사용에 관한 이해: 물류분야의 택배서비스업 사례 (Understanding the Continuous Intention of the Smart Phone Use: The Case of a Delivery Services Company in Logistics)

  • The rapid changes in business environments are also applicable to the delivery service field. Numerous companies are using smart phones in order to perform work of the delivery service field that is rapidly developing every year. Smart phones established ubiquitous work environments where access to the server of the head office is possible through telephones, scanners, and the internet anywhere and anytime. However, although smart appliances including smart phones have been diffused, empirical analysis of use of them in actual has not been attempted much. In this regard, current study empirically analyzes how connectivity and context-awareness function of smart phones based on the TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) influence the continuous intention to use through trust, usefulness, and ease of use. The results indicate that the connectivity and context-awareness function, which are natures of smart phones, had impacts on the ease of use and trust, but not on the usefulness. Based on these results, this study suggests implications and future research directions regarding the planning and realization of smart appliances.

  • Future e-Trade RFID/USN distribution should satisfy the new needs of reasonable customers such as efficient supply of goods, presentation of information, and communication by developing intermediate and long-term strategies through analysis of industrial conditions and customers' needs. Through preferential application of new technology, knowledge-based e-Trade RFID/USN distribution environment and DB of industrial portal sites should be developed, RFID/USN infra such as Supply Chain Management(SCM) should be expanded, future-oriented knowledge-based services should be developed to prepare specific and realistic plans for proper UT(Ubiquitous Technology). Such change in e-Trade distribution environment should have historical and environmental backgrounds to suggest specific tasks and directions as a conversion of structural concept of engineering and trade theory for new u-Trade. Accordingly, this study is to present all the problems available in RFID/USN distribution, develop an organized and technological estimate model and provide a foundation to apply it efficiently. This study aims to present an interpretational foundation of RFID/USN distribution, rather than technical directions.

헬스케어 서비스 리뷰를 활용한 서비스 품질 차원 별 중요 단어 파악 방안 (Keyword identifications on dimensions for service quality of Healthcare providers)

  • Studies on online review have carried out analysis of the rating and topic as a whole. However, it is necessary to analyze opinions on various dimensions of service quality. This study classifies reviews of healthcare services into service quality dimensions, and proposes a method to identify words that are mainly referred to in each dimension. Service quality was based on the dimensions provided by SERVQUAL, and patient reviews have collected from NHSChoice. The 2,000 sentences sampled were classified into service quality dimension of SERVQUAL and a method of extracting important keywords from sentences by service quality dimension was suggested. The RAKE algorithm is used to extract key words from a single document and an index is considered to consider frequently used words in various documents. Since we need to identify key words in various reviews, we have considered frequency and discrimination (IDF) at the same time, rather than identifying key words based only on the RAKE score. In SERVQUAL dimension, we identified the words that patients mentioned mainly, and also identified the words that patients mainly refer to by review rating.

Assistive Technologies (AT) Preferences of People Living with Visual Disability as Information Access Tools in Academic Libraries

  • Assistive technologies are necessary for ensuring independent living and equal participation in an information-based society for people living with disabilities (PLWD). This study investigated the assistive technology preference of students with visual disabilities, and the approach academic libraries should adopt in procuring assistive technologies. The study adopted a quantitative research method, with a survey as the research design. The study was conducted among visually disabled students in four public universities in Nigeria. Using the total enumeration method, an online questionnaire was used to obtain information from 151 students who voluntarily agreed to partake in the survey. The study found that access to electronic resources, scanning/conversion of print resources to electronic formats and access to information on the Web were among the technology-based services provided to visually disabled students. COBRA, ZoomText, Supernova and Dragon Naturally Speaking are the most preferred assistive technologies (software). At the same time, handheld scanners ($\bar{x}=4.40$) and braille keyboards ($\bar{x}=4.60$) are the most preferred assistive technologies in the hardware category by visually challenged students. The study further revealed that the library management should consult with students living with a visual disability before procuring assistive technology. Findings from this study thus provide further evidence of the need for librarians to fulfil their moral and legal obligation in advocating the provision of assistive technologies. Library administrators and university stakeholders should expedite actions on meeting the assistive technology needs of people living with visual disabilities. These actions should transcend mere policy formulation on the provision of assistive technologies to restructuring their services and spaces to accommodate assistive technologies as information service delivery tools for people with visual disabilities.

백트래킹 기법을 이용한 불확정성 하에서의 역방향추론 방법에 대한 연구 (Development of a Backward Chaining Inference Methodology Considering Unknown Facts Based on Backtrack Technique)

  • As knowledge becomes a critical success factor of companies nowadays, lots of rule-based systems have been and are being developed to support their activities. Large number of rule-based systems serve as Web sites to advise, or recommend their customers. They usually use a backward chaining inference algorithm based on backtrack to implement those interactive Web-enabled rule-based systems. However, when the users like customers are using these systems interactively, it happens frequently where the users do not know some of the answers for the questions from the rule-based systems. We are going to design a backward chaining inference methodology considering unknown facts based on backtrack technique. Firstly, we review exact and inexact reasoning. After that, we develop a backward chaining inference algorithm for exact reasoning based on backtrack, and then, extend the algorithm so that it can consider unknown facts and reduce its search space. The algorithm speeded-up inference and decreased interaction time with users by eliminating unnecessary questions and answers. We expect that the Web-enabled rule-based systems implemented by our methodology would improve users' satisfaction and make companies' competitiveness.
