The purpose of this study is to investigate mathematics content knowledge(MCK) of pre-service teachers about the area of a circle. 53 pre-service teachers were asked to perform four tasks based on the central ideas of measurement for the area of a circle. The results of this study are as follows. First, pre-service teachers had some difficulty in describing the meaning of the area of a circle. Quite a few of them didn't recognize the necessity of counting the number of area units. Secondly, pre-service teachers had insufficient content knowledge about the central ideas of measurement for the area of a circle such as partitioning, unit iteration, rearranging, structuring an array and approximation. Lastly, few pre-service teachers understood the concept of actual infinity. Most students regarded the rectangle as the figure having the approximation error instead of the limitation from rearranging the parts of a circle.

The production technology is the basic of manufacturing for various materials and components. This technology can influence the quality and productivity of leading export products such as automobile, ship, and electronic device. Besides, the production technology is very useful to apply to other manufacturing fields and has a great ripple effect. However, it is very difficult to make the production technology into standardization and knowledge-based database because the production technology is dependent in hands-on experience. In this study, the knowledge-sharing platform for the molding & forming technology which is a branch of the production technology is introduced. This platform is web-based system and has the knowledge authoring tool technologies storage, semantic database, and web portal service. Therefore, the molding & forming technology can be shared and spread easily by the knowledge-sharing platform.

Although there are various cultural events and cultural contents produced in the region, there is a lack of distribution and spread of regional information to expand related economic consumption. This study combined local advertising by local advertisers with the knowledge search method in question and answer format from a location-based service perspective for the purpose of spreading and using local cultural information. The approach looked at domestic and international cases of knowledge search based on region and location-based advertising research, presented community model of location inquiry based information service and revenue model of local advertisement. Through this, this study designed a question and answer based community and operational structure model of local advertising, and developed an information service system in the form of prototyping. By extending the distribution of question and answer data among users to location information, it is meaningful that a business service model was presented that combines local cultural content information and the demand for user access with the revenue model of local advertising.

Using computer technology in teaching school mathematics creates new instructional environments. The emphases on the use of computer technology in the classrooms and in particular the use of computer-based exploration as a context of mathematics instruction have been reflected in the recommendation of the NCTM (Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics, 1989). Although the power of using computer technology in the exploration of mathematical problems has been recognized and stressed by many educators, we do not have many research studies on mathematics in computer-based explorations. Especially research has failed to clarify how computer technology can contribute to the construction of procedural and conceptual knowledge of mathematics. Up to now most researches on procedural and conceptual knowledge in computer environments have only focused on classifying programming languages which program language has more random access and rich interrelationship characteristic in relation to conceptual knowledge in humans, and which computer language has more characteristic flavor of procedural knowledge. How computer-based explorations affect the knowledge construction of mathematics, therefore, emerges as an issue of research on teacher education program for theoretical framework. This situation leads to do research on the effectiveness of using computer explorations in pre-service teacher education in terms of procedural and conceptual knowledge construction.

This research aims to improve oral health knowledge through oral health education by investigating and analyzing the effect of subjective oral health knowledge and oral health behavior on personal oral hygiene management ability targeted for adults who visited a dental hygiene laboratory at B University in Busan for comprehensive dental hygiene management and procedure from September 23, 2013 to December 12, 2013, and provide basic data to improve adults' personal oral hygiene management ability by inducing behavior on oral health. Results derived from the research are as follows. Oral health education is a prerequisite to improve personal oral hygiene management ability through improvement in oral health knowledge and oral health behavior, which leads to improved personal oral health and furthermore promotion of national oral health through not just simply transmitting oral health knowledge, but desirable change in oral health behavior based on oral health knowledge.

The purpose of this study is to derive practical implications by verifying the influence of MSME owners' leadership type and management performance on knowledge management. In addition, we tried to verify the mediating role of knowledge management between the leadership type and management performance of MSME owners. Leadership types were divided into transformational leadership and transactional leadership. Transformational leadership consisted of charisma and inspirational motivation, while transactional leadership consisted of situational rewards and management by exception. For data collection, we conducted a survey targeting workers in small businesses. After excluding insincere data that were inappropriate for analysis, we used the remaining 243 samples for empirical analysis. To test the hypothesis, we adopted regression analysis and three-step mediated regression analysis as analysis methods. As a result of the empirical analysis, all seven hypotheses derived were supported, and the main results are summarized as follows. First, we found that MSME owners' transformational leadership and transactional leadership had a positive effect on knowledge management and management performance. Second, we found that knowledge management of MSME owners had a positive effect on business performance. Third, both transformational leadership and transactional leadership of MSME owners were found to be partially mediated by knowledge management in relation to management performance. Based on these research results, we derived practical implications for MSME owners.

This study is a descriptive research to establish a positioning strategy of nursing service image, making a perception map on each hospital's nursing service image and ranking construct factors of nursing service image. The results in this study were as follows; 1. The rank of construct factors of nursing service image which were thought important by subjects was the first 'Kindness', the second 'Reliability', the third 'Professional Knowledge', the fourth 'Responsibility', and the fifth 'Advanced Nursing Skill'. 2. The perception map for nursing service image on each hospital showed a hierarchial structure and positioned the first B hospital, the second C hospital, the third D hospital, the fourth A hospital, and the fifth E hospital. The perception map for construct factors of nursing service image and hospitals showed the first dimension : 'Reliability', the second dimension : Kindness', the third dimension : 'Mission', 'Accuracy', 'Neat Appearance', and 'Ethical Aspect', and the fourth dimension : 'Client Advocate', 'Humanistic Consideration', 'Professional Knowledge', 'Responsibility', and 'Advanced Nursing Skill'. 3. The findings of subject's characteristics which affected degree of likeness on each hospital nursing service image to make a marketing strategy were as follows : In A hospital D hospital, and E hospital, the subject group whose hospital dates were under 1 week, education level was upper graduate university, and age was between 40's and 50's, were appeared to have low nursing service image on following construct factors : 'Kindness', 'Reliability', 'Responsibility', 'Mission', 'Neat Appearance', and 'Humanistic Consideration'. In B hospital and C hospital the subject group whose hospital dates were under 1 week or over 5 weeks, sex was woman, and age was 20' s or 40's, having a admission experience on subject hospitals, were appeared to have low nursing service image on following construct factors : 'Professional Knowledge', 'Advanced Nursing Skill', 'Ethical Aspect', and 'Humanistic Consideration'. As the based on above results, nursing managers can use positioning method to develope a marketing strategy for nursing service image.

This study examines the effects of mathematics learning mentoring activities on mathematical knowledge for teaching (MKT) of pre-service mathematics teachers. We choose six pre-service mathematics teachers in the department of mathematics education at M University. The pre-service mathematics teachers conducted 1:1 mathematics learning mentoring for two hours at a times and twice a week for 15 weeks. The pre-service mathematics teachers submitted the mentor log, which recorded weekly learning and emotional observations. We collected the mentor log and the reflection log of pre-service mathematics teachers and the interviews with pre-service mathematics teachers. Based on the collected data, we analyzed the effects of MKT, the understanding of students, and pre-service mathematics teachers' introspection by mathematics learning mentoring. We obtained conclusions as follows. First, mathematics learning mentoring provides an opportunity for pre-service mathematics teachers to apply the theory of mathematical education to schools. Thus pre-service mathematics teachers express theoretical knowledge as practical knowledge. Second, mathematics learning mentoring helps pre-service mathematics teachers have the ability to understand students and provide opportunities to reflect on their attitudes as learners. Third, mathematics learning mentoring helps advance teaching activities by providing pre-service mathematics teachers with opportunities to reflect on their teaching activities. Finally, mathematics learning mentoring has positively influenced the change in pre-service mathematics teachers' beliefs and teaching intuition.

The objective of this study is to analyze the effects of music lesson applying the blended learning-based STEAM education on the musical knowledge and STEAM literacy of pre-service kindergarten teachers. After conducting a pre-test on the musical knowledge and STEAM literacy targeting 20 students(3rd year) of early childhood music lesson in Dept. of Early Childhood Education of C University in O Metropolitan City and 19 students(3rd year) of early childhood music lesson in Dept. of Early Childhood Education of D University in B Metropolitan City, the effectiveness of the pre - post test design was verified. In the results of study, the experimental group with music lesson applying the blended learning-based STEAM education showed significantly improved results in all the areas of musical knowledge and convergence, creativity, and communication out of STEAM literacy than the control group with general music lesson. Such results of this study imply that music lesson applying the blended learning-based STEAM education could be usefully used as a teaching/learning method to improve musical knowledge and STEAM literacy of pre-service kindergarten teachers in university education site in the future.

Knowledge retrieval service that uses collective intelligence which has special quality of open structure and can share the accumulative data is gaining popularity. However, acquiring the right needs for users from massive public knowledge is getting harder. Recently, search results from Google which is known for it's exquisite algorism, shows results for collective intelligence such as Wikipedia, Yahoo Q/A at the highest rank. Objective of this paper is to show that most answers come from human and to find the most influential people in on-line knowledge retrieval service. Hereupon, this paper suggest the influence value calculation algorism by analyzing user relation as centrality which social network is based on user activeness and reliance in Naver 지식iN. The influence value calculated by the suggested algorism will be an important index in distinguishing reliable and the right user for the question by ranking users with troubleshooting solutions in the knowledge retrieval service. This will contribute in search satisfaction by acquiring the right information and knowledge for the users which is the most important objective for knowledge retrieval service.
