The purpose of the study is to provide basic data on the public health management in the industrial work places, and some implications on the public health education related to workers self care capacity of their own health. To achieve this purpose a questionnaire was provided to 332 workers during February 11-28, 1993. This was do in Changwon-shi Geojeoi-kun, Chungmoo-shi, Jinjoo-shi, of Kyeongnam province. Through the analysis of the survey results, a relationship was deduced between worker's general characteristics and basic elements of health management in the work place. The main results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. In the knowledge area special health screening received the highest score 3.18. While the educational program scored the lowest .85. In the Attitude area the highest score was achieved in the affirmative attitude to the time consumed by health checks (3.28). The lowest by the management of health checks(1.53). In the Practice area, participation in health checking is the most active (3.44) , and public health education is the least active (0.95). 2. The differences of knowledge by workers' general characteristics is statistically significant in the work sector (P<.05), age (P<.05), sex (p<.001), marital status (P<.001), and prior career(P<.01). But in Attitude general characteristics are not significant factors. In the Practice area, did have a statistical significance, work sector (p<.001), age (p<.001), sex (P<.05), marital status (p<.001) and work career (P<.001). 3. The total difference by workers' general characteristics has a statistical significance only in the case of marital status (P>05). The note of married workers is higher than that of single workers. 4. The correlation between any two of Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice do have a statistical significance (p<.001).
Purpose In this study, radiation workers who work in nuclear medicine department were analyzed to find the cause of differences of radiation exposure from General Characteristic, Knowledge, Recognition and Conduct, especially females working on nuclear medicine radiation, in order to pave the way for positive defense against radiation exposure. Materials and Methods The subjects were 106 radiation workers who were divided into two groups of sixty-four males and forty-two females answered questions about their General Characteristic, Knowledge, Recognition, Conduct, and radiation exposure dose which was measured by TLD (Thermo Luminescence Dosimeter). Results The results of the analysis revealed that as the higher score of knowledge and conduct was shown, the radiation exposure decreased in female groups, and as the higher score of conduct was shown, the radiation exposure decreased in male groups. In the correlation analysis of female groups, the non-experienced in pregnancy showed decreasing amount of radiation exposure as the score of knowledge and conduct was higher and the experienced in pregnancy showed decreasing amount of radiation exposure as the score of recognition and conduct was higher. In the regression analysis on related factors of radiation exposure dose of nuclear medicine radiation workers, the gender caused the meaningful result and the amount of radiation exposure of female groups compared to male groups. In the regression analysis on related factors of radiation exposure dose of female groups, the factor of conduct showed a meaningful result and the amount of radiation exposure of the experienced in pregnancy was lower compared to the non-experienced. Conclusion The conclusion of this study revealed that radiation exposure of female groups was lower than that of male groups. Therefore, male groups need to more actively defend themselves against radiation exposure. Among the female groups, the experienced in pregnancy who have an active defense tendency showed a lower radiation exposure. Thus, those who have never been pregnant need to have a more active defensive conduct for the future possibility of pregnancy.

There was a difference in recognition of chemical substances according to cognitive level of GHS, knowledge level of organic solvents and each department of workers. they were showed higher recognition of chemical substances by research group, partially group and good group. To identify the relationship between types of job classification(group of department, group of GHS cognitive level and group of organic solvents knowledge level) and the levels of recognition of chemical substances, a total of 153 workers in a small and medium business workplace. Descriptive statistics(SAS ver 9.2)was performed. the results of recognition of chemical substances were analyzed the mean and standard deviation by t-test, and anova, (P=0.05). These results In general, small- and medium-sized workplaces have low levels of GHS awareness and organic solvents knowledge. The perception of chemical substances according to the departments. In general, the demand for chemical substances education was highly suggested regardless of the job type. There was a significant difference in the perception of health, safety and practice according to the level of GHS cognitive, and a high perception in the incomplete group. There was not much difference in average awareness of health, safety and practice according to organic solvents knowledge level, but there was a high perception in good group. It is very important to regularly check the worker's perception of the workplace and identify problems with the work environment and improve the work environment. In addition, each department presents appropriate safety and health education such as chemical process safety, toxicity of chemical substances and human exposure. We also propose a chemical substances assessment and management plan that integrates safety and health.

Background & Objectives: International radiation protection committee recognized the importance of radiation protection from medical practices because the exposure to the radiation in medical practice is higher than any other exposure. The factors on knowledge, attitude and practice of radiation safety of the medical workers engaged in radiation were analyzed in order to improve radiation safety technology. Method: Questionnaires were used for 1200 radiation workers in medical institution from July 23 through September 4 and collected for analysis. Results: Different level of safety measures were practiced by age, marital status, career, and medical facility. The difference was statistically significant. Higher levels of safety measures were practiced in the age group of 50s and married persons. The workers who have more than 20 years experience have higher level of safety measures. The workers of health centers have higher level of safety measures to compare with other workers. The factors which give more concerns on safety practice were self efficacy, practice and knowledge in order. Conclusion: Safety conscious operators should get additional education program to maintain higher level of safety. The operators who do not have much safety concern should be intensive training program for self efficacy and safety.
In terms of deregulation requests from business, incidents at construction sites are rapidly increasing after reducing the regular safety training hours. Especially, to prevent incidents through safety trainings for construction site workers, who have lots of hazardous tasks than general manufacturing, is not only to protect property of both the companies and the country but also to increase their profits. That is why there are loud voices regarding that the safety training is a core mandatory to prevent industrial incidents. But, most companies, as soon as the deregulation for safety training is implemented, mitigated conducting safety trainings to prevent incidents. With this, the incidents are currently to be increased and caught in a vicious circle of many incidents at the smaller companies because of their absentmindedness regarding safety training due to their poorness as subcontractors of major companies, comparing to major companies. This study explains that the difference between managers and workers are existing about safety awareness and knowledge. And, we confirmed that the educational factor led by deficiency of safety awareness and knowledge was the major factor.

NCS is the nation-wide standard designed to standardize and systematize the capability(knowledge, technology and attitude) required for personnel to undertake their task in industrial site according to industry field and level of the task. In order to cope with rapidly changing labor market, individual has to be equipped with ability required for each relevant duty field. And company also requires worker to have basic working ability, professional knowledge or technical capability for relevant duty. Especially, the core competency, a fundamental element for all tasks, has been recognized as critical part not just in social level but also in company level. In that sense, the necessity of adding the core competence into regular education program has been vastly demanded. This study mainly deals with development of NCS-based learning module for information capability that most of industrial field want their employee to be equipped as basic skill. And, in particular, education achievement analysis for computer application capability, a subordinate capabilities of information capability, and its application method are mainly described.

Most of enterprises depend on a data modeler during developing their management information systems. In formulating business requirements for information systems, they widely and naturally use the interview method between a data modeler and a field worker. But, the discrepancy between both parties would certainly cause information loss and distortion that lead to let the systems not faithful to real business works. To improve or avoid modeler-dependant data modeling process, many automated data design CASE tools have been introduced. However, since most of traditional CASE tools just support drawing works for conceptual data design, a data modeler could not generate an ERD faithful to real business works and a user could not use them without any knowledge on database. Although some CASE tools supported conceptual data design, they still required too much preliminary database knowledge for a user. Against these traditional CASE tools, we proposed a Requirement-Oriented Entity Relationship Model for automated data design tool, called ROERM. Based on Non-Stop Methodology, ROERM adopts inner systematic modules for complete and sound ERD that is faithful to real field works, where modules are composed of interaction modules with a user, rules of schema operations and sentence translations. In addition to structure design of ROERM, we also devise detailed algorithms and perform an experiment for a case study.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in HbA1c through an education and consultation intervention with diabetic workers. Methods: The participants were 65 workers with Type 2 diabetes. The data were collected from May to October 2014 using questionnaires. The intervention program included six monthly sessions on exercise, dietary habits, stress management, and diabetes knowledge. Changes in HbA1c were evaluated. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-tests with SPSS WIN23.0. Results: The mean of HbA1c was 7.67% before intervention and 7.28% after intervention, and this difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).The mean level of HbA1c was significantly different depending on job position, working hours, work duration, and smoking habit. Conclusion: In conclusion, these findings support the usefulness of intervention programs in reducing HbA1c. Therefore, appropriate intervention programs involving exercise, dietary habits, stress management and diabetes knowledge should be developed and provided to diabetic workers.

Automatic control has been for the most part applied to linear systems where ti can be approximately formalized. In case that it is not definitely established the mathematical modelling to control objects, it requires manual control strategies which put under the human rule. In this paper, it constructs an FLC (Fuzzy Logic Controller) in order to turn a hand control into an automatic control in the domain of swimming pool that has been almost absolutely dependant on a skilled worker's experience. Genetic algorithms upgrade the knowledge which is acquired from human expert, using by FLC, so as to maintain knowledge in the very optimal way. It also designs an algorithm that modifies the rule base and the membership function at the same time, and ultimately will show that it can get better result than human controllers.
