CoP 내 지식통합과 CoP 성과 연구: 사회적 자본과 CoP 구성 다양성을 기반으로 (Knowledge Integration and CoP Performance: Based on Social Capital and Diversity in CoP)

  • As a community of practice (CoP) is known to facilitate team learning, it is increasingly important to understand the mechanisms of CoP, thereby enabling organizations to fully utilize it and optimize its benefits. To explain how CoP improves organizational performance, we focus on its effects on social capital and knowledge management activities, and propose a research model suggesting that shared goals and trust in CoP improve its performance through knowledge integration. Our analysis uses structural equation modeling, with field data collected from 372 members of 46 CoPs in three companies; the analysis validates our research model. Our findings also suggest that CoP diversity can strengthen the link between knowledge integration and CoP performance.

기업가지향성이 중소기업의 기업가적 성과에 미치는 영향: 기업가정신 지식역량의 매개효과 분석 (Impact of Entrepreneurial Orientation on Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises' Entrepreneurial Performance: The Mediating Role of Entrepreneurial Knowledge Position)

  • 본 연구에서는 기업가지향성이 조직의 기업가적 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 조직의 기업가정신 지식역량의 매개효과를 통해 분석하였다. 국내 3,324개의 중소기업을 대상으로 한 2017년 기업가정신실태조사 기업편의 설문조사 응답 자료를 토대로 분석한 결과, 기업의 혁신성은 기업가적 성과에 직접적인 정(+)의 영향을 미침과 동시에 기업가정신 지식역량에도 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 위험감수는 지식역량에만 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 진취성은 기업가적 성과에는 직접적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치는데 반해 기업가정신 지식역량에는 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 자주성과 경쟁성은 기업가정신 지식역량과 조직의 기업가적 성과에 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 기업가정신 지식역량은 조직의 기업가적 성과에 강한 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과는 기업가지향성과 조직 성과의 상관관계 모형을 보다 구체화할 필요가 있다는 선행연구의 제언에 응답한 것으로, 기업가지향성은 조직의 지식역량, 즉, 기업가정신을 추구하기 위한 관련 전문 지식을 보유한 인력 및 지원 프로그램과 이러한 지식자원을 종합하고 재조합하여 활용하는 역량의 선행요인으로, 기업의 혁신성, 위험감수, 그리고 진취성을 통해 조직의 지식역량이 향상되어 결과적으로 기업이 보다 우월한 기업가적 성과를 도출하는 데 이바지하는 것으로 이해할 수 있다.

R&D 혁신역량과 기업성과 간의 관계 연구 (The Empirical Study on Relation between R&D Innovation Capability and Performance in Knowledge-Based Service Firms)

  • Purpose: This empirical study is focused on the relationship between innovation capability (R&D and Human Resource innovation) and performance in knowledge-based service firms. Methods: We build research model to test how each of innovation capability on technology and human resource is influenced on their financial and non-financial performance in the knowledge-based service industries. Based on the previous research, we hypothesized the factors are regarded innovation capabilities of the firms as the scale of R&D and human resources. Because this study is especially targeted to the performance of knowledge-based service firms. With the survey on 424 main knowledge-based service firms, the multi-regression analysis was performed. Results: The result showed that the scale of R&D and human resources capabilities are main factors for knowledge-based service firms' performance, which reflects the current industrial structure. Conclusion: This study empirically demonstrated that human resources are most important to the growth of knowledge-based service firms.

코레일 지식경영 활성화 사례 (The Case of the Knowledge Management Activity of KORAIL)

  • It is well known in KM (Knowledge Management) literature that a certain amount of knowledge is necessary for KM to contribute to corporate performance to some extent. However, for a company to amass knowledge is very difficult due to limited time and poor understandings from employees. Especially, it becomes harder in public organization where simulating financial motif among members is constrained. In this respect, KORAIL, one of typical and leading public organizations in Korea, shows very unique example in which KORAIL succeeds in catalyzing the knowledge circulation process among members, string the resulted working knowledge, and then sharing it to improve working performance at an individual level as well as team level. This KORAIL case will help understand how important the knowledge circulation speed is to improving the corporate performance.

물류 안전 분위기가 물류 안전행동 및 물류 안전성과에 미치는 영향 : 물류 안전지식과 물류 안전동기의 매개효과 (Effects of Safety Climate on Safety Behavior and Safety Performances in Logistics : Mediating Effects of Safety Knowledge and Safety Motivation)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between logistics safety climate, logistics safety behavior, and logistics safety performance and the mediating effects of safety knowledge and safety motivation, and to suggest its strategic implications for the improvement of the logistics safety performance. Based on previous researches related to logistics safety, safety climate, safety knowledge, safety motivation, safety behavior and safety performance, research models and hypotheses were set up and questionnaires were conducted. For the hypothesis test, reliability analysis and validity analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation model analysis, and bootstrapping were applied. As a result of the empirical analysis, the logistics safety climate had a significant positive effect on logistics safety knowledge, logistics safety motivation, and logistics safety behavior, whereas logistics safety knowledge and logistics safety motivation had a meaningful positive effect on logistics safety behavior. Further, logistics safety behavior was found to have a significant positive effect on logistics safety performance. Safety behavior had a significant mediating effect, but safety knowledge and safety motivation did not. However, logistics safety climate, logistics safety knowledge, and logistics safety motivation did not have a significant effect on logistics safety performance.

일부지역 치과위생사의 심폐소생술에 관한 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of factors affecting the implementation of CPR by dental hygienists in certain regions)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the knowledge of dental hygienists on CPR, their CPR attitude and performance ability in an effort to offer data that can contribute to the development of a more effective CPR education program. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 234 dental hygienists in Jeollanam and Jeollabukdo from February 24 to May 20, 2017. The questionnaire asked dental hygienists of the knowledge, attitude, performance ability in regards to CPR. The data were analyzed using SPSS Window ver. 19.0 program through independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test and multiple regression analysis. The Cronbach alpha of their CPR knowledge was 0.78, and that of attitude to CPR was 0.79. The Cronbach alpha of CPR performance ability was 0.96. Results: The dental hygienists surveyed in this study who were aware of CPR accounted for 88.9% of total subjects. Dental hygienists who were certified in CPR accounted for 20.5% of total subjects. They received a score of 7.66 on CPR knowledge, 3.33 on attitude and 2.61 on performance ability. There was a positive correlation between the knowledge and attitude, between the knowledge and performance ability and between the attitude and performance ability (r=0.332, r=0.461, r=0.426). A regression analysis showed that the dental hygienists who were younger, who graduated from a four-year university or a higher educational institution, who were CPR certificate holders, who received more CPR education, who were cognizant of automated external defibrillator, who were more knowledgeable on CPR and who took a more positive attitude were more likely to be affected in terms of CPR performance. Conclusions: The dental hygienists surveyed were aware of CPR on the whole, but their CPR knowledge, attitude and performance were not sufficient to perform CPR in emergency situations. More intensive education should be provided for dental hygienists to have an accurate knowledge of CPR to carry it out with a positive attitude.

소상공인 경영자의 리더십 유형과 지식경영이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Leadership Type of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Owners and Knowledge Management on Business Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive practical implications by verifying the influence of MSME owners' leadership type and management performance on knowledge management. In addition, we tried to verify the mediating role of knowledge management between the leadership type and management performance of MSME owners. Leadership types were divided into transformational leadership and transactional leadership. Transformational leadership consisted of charisma and inspirational motivation, while transactional leadership consisted of situational rewards and management by exception. For data collection, we conducted a survey targeting workers in small businesses. After excluding insincere data that were inappropriate for analysis, we used the remaining 243 samples for empirical analysis. To test the hypothesis, we adopted regression analysis and three-step mediated regression analysis as analysis methods. As a result of the empirical analysis, all seven hypotheses derived were supported, and the main results are summarized as follows. First, we found that MSME owners' transformational leadership and transactional leadership had a positive effect on knowledge management and management performance. Second, we found that knowledge management of MSME owners had a positive effect on business performance. Third, both transformational leadership and transactional leadership of MSME owners were found to be partially mediated by knowledge management in relation to management performance. Based on these research results, we derived practical implications for MSME owners.

인천지역 단체급식소별 조리종사자의 위생실천도 및 위생지식 비교 조사 (A Comparative Study on Sanitary Practices and Perception of Employees in Elementary School, Hospital and Industry Food Service in the Inchon Area)

  • The purposes of this study were to compare performance of HACCP-based sanitary management and sanitation knowledge of employees in some food services (hospitals, elementary school, industry) in Inchon. Therefore, the survey questionnaire consisted of general background, sanitation performance, sanitation knowledge evaluation. The subjects were 370 employees in hospital, elementary school, industrial food service. The statistical analysis of data was completed using SPSS program. The results were summarized as follows: 99.3% of surveyed employees were female. 95.7% of employees were attended sanitation education and 76.8% of them were educated once a month. Employees in school food service showed higher academic career than the other food service employees. The food service employees' performance level was high(4.48). The performance level of school employees was significantly higher compared to other food services(p<0.001). Average score of sanitation knowledge was 16.36/20. The school food service employees' knowledge 17.03 was also higher compared to other food services. There was no significant correlation between sanitary performance and knowledge for total score. But among items of sanitary performance, a personal hygiene and food sanitary was significantly correlated with sanitation knowledge. The results of survey imply that the suitable contents and methods of education and training must be developed. Also, Financial supports to install necessary sanitary facilities are very important in order to raise effectiveness of education.

임상간호사가 지각한 욕창 간호의 중요도, 교육요구도와 지식 및 수행과의 관계 (Perceived Importance, Educational Needs, Knowledge and Performance Concerning Pressure Ulcer Care by Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: To examine pressure ulcer care from the standpoints of perceived importance, educational needs, knowledge and performance among clinical nurses. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted with a convenient sample of 289 nurses from four hospitals. Questionnaire data collected from June to August 2008 was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: The mean scores of importance and educational needs concerning pressure ulcer care were high, performance was moderate, and knowledge was low. Knowledge level differed significantly according to career, performance differed significantly according to pressure ulcer care education and the main healer(the person primarily responsible for treatment). Perceived importance differed significantly according to the main healer, and educational needs differed significantly according to working area and the main healer. Significant correlations were evident between performance and importance, performance and educational needs, importance and knowledge, and importance and educational needs. Conclusion: Focus on perceived importance and educational needs to clinical nurses about pressure ulcer care may be beneficial to improve knowledge and practice of pressure ulcer care, and should be reflected in the development of effective programs to enhance relevant nursing skills.

정형외과병원 간호사의 섬망간호에 대한 지식, 수행 및 스트레스 (Knowledge, Performance and Stress about Care for Delirium in Orthopedic Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the correlation among nurses' knowledge, performance, and stress about care for delirium. Methods: The data were collected using the instruments for knowledge about nursing care (50 items), performance (23 items), and stress (20 items). Descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data of 222 participants. Results: Nursing knowledge were different by clinical experience (F=3.12, p=.016), position at work (t=-2.54, p=.012), experience in caring patients with delirium (t=3.90, p<.001), and conflicts with other disciplines on matters related to delirium (t=4.00, p=.001). The difference in performance were associated with age (F=4.19, p=.001), clinical experience (F=2.67, p=.003), and whether there was a guideline for managing the patients with delirium (t=2.30, p=.022). Stress of nurses was different by whether they had a religion or not (t=-2.41, p=.017). The knowledge of care for delirium had the positive relationship with performance (r=.21, p=.001) and negative relationship with stress (r=-.29, p=.001). Conclusion: It is necessary to develop educational program and guideline for improving the knowledge and performance in care for delirium among nurses working at orthopedic hospitals.
