Purpose: This study examined the relationships among disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency among nursing students by identifying the predictors of disaster nursing competency. Methods: The study participants were 306 nursing students in the nursing departments of 3 universities located in G City and J Province. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, the Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The participants' scores for disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency were 5.41±1.68, 4.29±0.46, and 2.84±0.78, respectively. Disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency exhibited positive correlations. The factors influencing disaster nursing competency among nursing students included disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, year level, disaster training experience, first-aid training experience, disaster area experience, medical service experience, and disaster severity awareness. These variables explained 17% of the variance in disaster nursing competency. Conclusion: Disaster nursing knowledge and disaster preparedness attitudes was positively related to disaster nursing competency. The findings of this study indicate that it is important to develop and apply education programs aimed at increasing disaster nursing knowledge and enhancing disaster preparedness attitudes among nursing students to improve nursing students' disaster nursing competency.
This study is to establish the domains and the standards of instructional evaluation on the teacher knowledge dealing with the knowledge of 'teaching and learning methods and assessment'. Especially, in this study, the instruction assessment standards are developed focused on the five types of mathematics competencies such as problem solving, communication, reasoning, connection, information and handling, which were emphasized in the mathematical curriculum revised in 2022. By the result, ten domains such as an instruction involving instruction goal and content, problem-solving competency, data treatment competency, learners' achievement level and attitude, communication competency, reasoning competency, connection competency, the assessment method and procedure based on the competency, the assessment tool development based on the competency, assessment result based on the competency were new established. According to those domains, the total 20 instructional evaluation standards were developed. This study is limited to consider the domain of 'teaching and learning methods and assessment' among the domains of teacher knowledge, while dealing with the elements of mathematics competencies in the standards. However, instructional evaluation standards reflecting these competencies should be developed in the other diverse domains of teacher knowledge.
The objectives of this research; (1)To measure levels of the wife consumer competency and consumer role satisfaction (2) To investigate the sociodemographic variables influencing consumer competency (3) To determine the relationships of consumer competency and consumer role satisfaction (4) to provide the basic data useful for consumer education policies. For the evidence of this topic, research was conducted 370 wives in seoul. The major findings were; 1)Among the component of consumer competency consumer attitudes scores are highest and consumer knowledge scores are lowest. This implies that consumer education is necessary for the wife to obtain consumer knowledge. 2) Consumer skills differ significantly age and occupation and consumer knowledge differ significantly education and income 3) Resulting form multiple regression analysis, consumer competency had the positive linear relationships with the variables such as education, age and income.. The most influential variable is education, in turn age and income. but income is not statistically significant. 4) There are positive relationships among consumer attitudes, consumer knowledge and consumer skills. 5) consumer role satisfaction has positive relationship with consumer competency, Among components of consumer competency, the relationships of consumer role satisfaction and consumer knowledge is not statistically significant. This implies that consumer education for increasing consumer role satisfaction is necessary for the wife to obtain consumer skills and consumer attitudes.
Knowledge management is an innovation paradigm to improve organizations competitiveness by strengthening organization's knowledge competency. Most organizations which have implemented knowledge management have experienced various difficulties in improving organization's knowledge competency, and so they have strived to find solutions. For the problems, it may be considered as an effective approach to link between knowledge management and human resource development. This study introduces two real cases adopting such approach focusing on competency development and career development which are primary areas of human resource development, and presents a model structuring core mechanisms which can be found in the cases. The model focuses on creating synergy effects between knowledge management and workforces' competency development. The cases and the model are expected to be helpful in enhancing organizational competency and the performance of knowledge management.

This paper aimed to analyze the effect of SW convergence education applying Yut-nori on the knowledge information processing ability of elementary school students. A study was conducted targeting elementary school students in the islands of Jeollanam-do. A SW convergence education applying Yut-nori was developed and applied to the experimental group. A pre-test for knowledge and information processing competency was conducted, SW convergence education applying Yut-nori was conducted, and a post-test for knowledge and information processing competency was conducted. As a knowledge information processing capability test tool, the upper elementary school knowledge information processing competency measurement tool was used for analysis. According to the analysis, SW convergence education using Yut-nori is effective in improving knowledge and information processing competency, which is the ability of elementary school students to collect, analyze, evaluate, and use selected knowledge and information to solve problems efficiently. It was found to be effective in improving knowledge and information processing competency.

One of the important competencies in knowledge and information society is the competency of Knowledge information processing. This is closely related to science education and described as one of the core competencies in the 2015 national curriculum revision. Even with a general agreement of the educational necessity of this competency, its practice in class depends mostly on teachers' will. Therefore, we surveyed science teachers' perceptions and classroom condition about the competency of Knowledge information processing, and we analyzed the questionnaires of 64 middle and high school teachers in Seoul and interviewed three teachers. As a result, all teachers shared the importance of Knowledge information processing competency and explained it in terms of social paradigm and goal of the subject. However, there were not many cases of actual practice in class. The teachers answered that time for Knowledge information processing competency is not enough in class and they also lack of PCK on this competency. About half of the teachers had experiences in teacher training about Knowledge information processing competency but most of their experiences are related to information utilization literacy. The importance of Knowledge information processing competency was very high in three factors (collection, analyzation, and utilization), among which information analysis was the highest. Middle school teachers showed higher scores in most questions even though the differences were not significant, and high school teachers showed higher scores in the importance of information sources at a significant level. In order to cultivate competencies, it is necessary to expand the meaning of science inquiry so as to cover this competency and to consider ways of linking with other subjects and develop methods of teaching and learning.
The purpose of this study is to examine the consumer competency of women in their 20-40s after consumer competency is classified into consumer knowledge, consumer attitude and consumer skill. Since these components can show differences based on the areas of consumption life, the areas of consumer competency are classified into financial management areas, trading areas and consumer citizenship areas. The differences in consumer competency based on marital status and the differences in variables affecting consumer competency by marital status are identified. The types of consumers are classified and characterized based on consumer competency and marital status. This sentence can immediately follow the previous one rather than start a new paragraph. The same goes for the other sentences below. First, the female consumer competency levels of the married group were generally higher than those of the single group. Second, consumer knowledge and consumer competency in financial management areas showed significant interaction effects between the marital status and employment status of demographic variables. Third, there were differences in factors affecting significant differences in consumer knowledge, consumer attitude, consumer skill and over all consumer competencies between the unmarried and married groups.

In this study, we collaborated with the National Library of Korea's Library Education Institute to pilot the operation of a librarian learning community and aimed to measure its effectiveness based on the improvement of librarian competencies. A total of 28 participants attended four programs, and the research results are as follows: First, when analyzing competencies in terms of community capacity, attitude competency was the highest, followed by knowledge and skills competencies in that order. The correlation analysis among competencies showed that there were mutual correlations among the three competencies. Second, in the pre-post analysis of the three competencies and their sub-competencies, it was found that all competencies, including sub-competencies, improved. Based on the research results, it was confirmed that through the operation of the librarian learning community, the average competencies of librarians can be improved, which can directly impact the enhancement of the library's service capabilities. Therefore, it is believed that there is a need to activate the operation of librarian learning communities and explore nationwide dissemination strategies for the operating model.
This study aimed to measure consumer information competency, which indicates consumers' general ability to search and utilize information. The model of this study was constructed in order to identify how consumer information competency influences the efficiency and the effectiveness of external information search. The model was verified with related prior knowledge as a moderator variable in order to understand holistic consumer information search activity. The result of the study is as follows. First, the concept of consumer information competency was constructed with four sub-abilities: define, search, extract, and synthesis & use. The ability of define was the highest, as opposed to the ability of extract, which was the lowest. Second, consumer information competency was lower for women as well as for low family income. The sub-abilities of search and synthesis & use were lower for aging consumers. Third, consumer information competency has positive effects on information search efficiency and effectiveness. Moreover, the efficiency influences the effectiveness positively. Fourth, prior knowledge moderates the effect of consumer information competency to the efficiency. Only for consumers with high knowledge the efficiency has the effect of mediating between consumer information competency and the effectiveness.

This study aims to present the differentiating factors of B2B salesperson competency through comparing the suppliers and buyers in Korean steel industry in their perception on the importance and priority of B2B salesperson competency. Based on previous studies, analysis on B2B salesperson competency has been analyzed using the B2B salesperson performance competency measure factors and appropriately reorganizing them for better application to the steel industry. The required performance competencies of B2B salesperson can be categorized into 3 different types, namely social exchange competency, advisory sales competency, and skill & knowledge competency. AHP analysis was performed for analyzing the relative importance of B2B salesperson competency based on the factors of previous studies, in which categorization of the aforementioned types had been done. As the result, first, it has been confirmed that there is a difference in 1st layer main factors between the supplier group and buyer group. The supplier group valued the advisory sales competency, while the buyer group valued skill & knowledge competency. Second, it has been proved that there is same result of relative importance in 2nd detailed factors between the supplier group and buyer group. Both group confirmed that customer member, identify customer needs and communication skill are very important factors. Third, as the result of analysis on the gap between B2B salesperson competency of the suppliers and buyers, the gap in the product knowledge and sales team member need improvement for buyer's satisfaction according to overall results of relative importance and priority. The steel supplier was able to develop B2B salesperson competency according to the buyers' needs based on the result of this study, and furthermore it is expected that this study will be able to contribute to increase in buyer competitiveness through differentiation in B2B salesperson competency.
