Different kinds of information are used when solving tasks that arise in the life cycle of an applied knowledge based system (KBS). Many of these tasks are still under investigation. Their solving methods are often researched independently of each other due to complexity of the tasks. As a result, systems that realize these methods turn out to be incompatible and therefore could not be used together in the lifecycle of a KBS. The following problem arises here: how to support the full life cycle of a KBS. This paper introduces a class of computer knowledge banks that are intended to support the full life cycle of KBSs. Primary tasks that arise in the full life cycle of a KBS are analyzed. The architecture of a knowledge bank of the introduced class is presented, including an Information Content, a Shell of the Information Content and a Software Content. General requirements on these components are formulated on the basis of the analysis. These requirements depend on the current state of understanding in the life cycle of KBSs.

In this paper, research and applications of a knowledge-base system in scheduling are review. The method is based on the problem-solving techniques developed in artificial intelligent. The object of this paper is to enable the re-time rescheduling under dynamic environments. Developed to KBS(Knowledge-Based Scheduling) system in this paper, will based on expert system, and applicate to requirement of users effectively.

In this study, we propose an efficient expert system (ES) construction mechanism by using dynamic knowledge map (DKM) and database management systems (DBMS). Generally, traditional ES and ES developing tools has some limitations such as, 1) a lot of time to extend the knowledge base (KB), 2) too difficult to change the inference path, 3) inflexible use of inference functions and operators. First, to overcome these limitations, we use DKM in extracting the complex relationships and causal rules from human expert and other knowledge resources. Then, elation database (RDB) and its management systems will help to transform the relationships from diagram to relational table. Therefore, our mechanism can help the ES or KBS (Knowledge-Based Systems) developers in several ways efficiently. In the experiment section, we used medical data to show the efficiency of our mechanism. Experimental results with various disease show that the mechanism is superior in terms of extension ability and flexible inference.

본 논문은 멀티미디어 정보 검색을 위한 비디오 데이터 처리 기법에 관한 연구로서 뉴스 비디오 도메인에 기반하여 비디오 정보를 효과적으로 검색할 수 있는 비디오 검색 시스템이다. 효과적인 시스템을 구축하기 위하여 비디오 데이터의 생성과 구성에 관한 사전 지식을 이용하여 의미 정보와 특징 정보를 추출한다. 이를 바탕으로 뉴스 비디오를 내용별로 인덱싱하여 신속하게 뉴스 비디오를 검색하도록 한다. 본 논문에서는 실제 KBS 방송국에서 방송 중인 뉴스에 적용하여 실험하고 시스템 평가를 위하여 프리시즌과 리콜을 사용하였다.

Potential employers considering locations for production or service facilities typically equire detailed advance knowledge of the wages they will be expected to offer for workers in various occupational categories. The State of Missouri s Department of Labor and Industrial Relations is often contacted by organizations requesting such information. The current wage rate survey approach, initiated in 1988, allows the Department to predict an appropriate wage rate for a given occupation in certain counties, adjusted for changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI). However, both Department employees and firms have indicated that improved prediction responsiveness and accuracy are desirable. A major deficiency of the current approach is its inability to predict wages for unsurveyed counties. This paper describes a knowledge-based system (KBS), currently in the prototype testing stage, that is expected to supplement the wage rate survey in the near future.

XML(eXtensible Markup Language, XML)은 인터넷에서의 자료 교환을 위해 고안된 언어이다. 본 논문에서는 XML의 개념을 발전시킨 확장형 규칙 표식 언어(extensible Rule Markup Language, XRML)를 제안하고 있다. XRML은 웹 페이지에 내재된 암묵적 규칙의 식별, 구조적인 규칙으로의 변환, 사람과 소프트웨어 에이전트간의 지식 공유를 가능하게 하며, 이를 통해 지식기반시스템(Knowledge Based System)과 지식관리시스템(Knowledge Management System)의 통합을 실현할 수 있는 새로운 언어가 될 것이다. 본 고에서는 XRML이 이상과 같은 능력을 갖기 위해 반드시 갖춰야 할 6가지 설계 기준과, 이들 기준을 반영한 XRML 구성 요소로서 RIML(Rule Identification Markup Language), RSML(Rule Structure Markup Language)과 RTML(Rule Triggering Markup Language)을 설계하였으며, 개별 요소들의 기능 및 특성과 함께 태그와 DTD(Document Type Definition)도 식별하였다. 나아가 전술한 구조를 기반으로 하여 XRML을 워크플로우 시스템상의 폼처리에 적용한 Form/XRML이라는 프로토타입 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 프로토타입의 개발을 통해, 지식기반시스템의 지식을 활용하는 RTML이 폼을 비롯한 다양한 응용시스템에 내재될 수 있으며, 웹 페이지의 암묵적 규칙과 지식기반시스템의 규칙이 일관성 있게 유지될 수 있음을 보여 주었다. 요컨대 본 연구는 XRML이 지능형 웹으로 발전하기 위한 새로운 도구이며, KBS와 US의 통합을 위한 중요한 도구임을 입증하였다는 점에서 큰 의의를 갖는다고 하겠다.

Social manufacturing architecture is based on information delivery through social media and SNS, PLM and social platform, crowd source and knowledge base on whole phase of product life cycle. Although advanced social manufacturing issues are rising globally, its technology emerging into domestic industry is likely to be slow. We focused to review technological changes and R&D trend, patent issues, and then suggest assignments and advices to be practiced for social manufacturing modeling.

잠수함은 수중 활동으로 인하여 압력선체에 항상 수압을 받고 있기 때문에, 손상시에는 수상함에 비하여 그 영향이 상대적으로 크며 대처 가능한 수단과 시간은 제한되어 있다. 수압으로 인하여 작은 파손에도 잠수함이 치명적인 손상을 받을 수 있으며, 이는 곧 함의 임무 수행능력의 손실뿐만 아니라 승조원의 안전에도 직결되는 상황을 초래할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 잠수함의 손상시, 크게 압력선체 손상과 배관 계통이 손상된 경우만을 고려하여 두 경우 누수가 발생하였을 경우에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 지식기반시스템을 개발하였다. 잠수함의 설계 지침서와 설계 경험을 바탕으로 잠수함의 운용자로부터 위기 대응과 관련된 지식을 추출하여 분석, 정리하였고 도출된 지식들은 지식기반시스템 개발도구를 사용하여 규칙의 형태로 지식베이스에 저장하였으며, 후향 추론기법을 사용하여 상황대처에 대한 결과를 도출하였다.

A prototype GIS-based decision support system (DSS) was developed by using a database management system (DBMS), a model management system (MMS), a knowledge-based system (KBS), a graphical user interface (GUI), and a geographical information system (GIS). The method of selecting a dispersion model or a modeling scheme, originally devised by Park and Seok, was developed using our GIS-based DSS. The performances of candidate models or modeling schemes were evaluated by using a single index(statistical score) derived by applying fuzzy inference to statistical measures between the measured and predicted concentrations. The fumigation dispersion model performed better than the models such as industrial source complex short term model(ISCST) and atmospheric dispersion model system(ADMS) for the prediction of the ground level $SO_2$ (1 hr) concentration in a coastal area. However, its coincidence level between actual and calculated values was poor. The neural network models were found to improve the accuracy of predicted ground level $SO_2$ concentration significantly, compared to the fumigation models. The GIS-based DSS may serve as a useful tool for selecting the best prediction model, even for complex terrains.

사이버세계는 국가와 국민의 인프라를 구성하고 통제한다. 사이버 공격과 개인정보유출로 국민경제 피해 및 국가 안보가 위협당하고있다. 2014년 12월 사이버 해킹공격으로 한국수력원자력의 원자력 냉각시스템 설계도면이 유출된적이 있으며, 청와대 홈페이지 해킹, KBS 방송국 해킹 등 사이버사고의 발생하였다. 이에 따라 정보통신기반보호법, 정보통신망이용촉진 및 정보보호등에 관한법률, 개인정보보호법이 시행되고있으며, 앞서가는 첨단 기술로 무장한 해커의 공격을 막기는 어려우나 인터넷 정보화 사회에서 형식적인 요건으로 개인정보보호법을 지켜야 하는 개인정보책임자 양성방안을 제안하고자 한다.
