In the knowledge based economy, it's important to know the place where the proper knowledge locates as well as to produce the creative knowledge. This paper intends to clear up the linkage structure between research fields and its application areas. 2,135 proposals submitted to Korea Science and Engineering Foundation were analyzed to investigate the relationship between research fields and application areas. The results are as follows; first, 51.8% of the basic research is devoted to the advancement of knowledge, second, 40.8% of that is applicable to the industry, third, 49.9% of engineering and 20.2% of natural science research is applicable to the industry.

In modern society, the importance of inter-enterprise collaboration on supply chain is more emphasizing, depending on the industrial structure is going advanced. Therefore, the studies for advancement of inter-enterprise collaboration are taking, and especially the studies about how IT systems affect those advancement are taking. However, there are a shortage of recognition to each IT systems on B2B collaboration, additionally there is not much study of its application. In this study, we analyze the Performance Model relationship between the level and the importance of IT system for B2B collaboration in small and medium-sized enterprise, and draw a priority order for improvement of IT systems for its effective practical use.

The research on the process capability is the basis for quality design, operation standard and so on. In this study, histogram of the measured value for the cutting process and calculation of the capability factor Cp are established, resulting in the classification of 4 grades, and necessary measures for them are presented. The advancement of productivity is the most significant result of this study. The processing time per piece for those stabilized processes having the capability factor 1.33 and above is lessened, and the advancement in quantity capability is made possible permitting dispersion of standard up to the tolerance limit. The exact knowledge of process capability is most important for the quality design system. For the efficient application of this result of the research, a systematic and positive cooperation by the whole company members is needed.

The knowledge management was considered as the inevitable result of the rule of knowledge in this era, and its importance became clear in being the main source for achieving success, the need to consider and manage knowledge as an independent field that must be addressed with a clear scientific methodology has become intangible - they are very valuable and a strategic asset. On the other hand, the innovation process relates to all parts of the organization, and helps to improve the behavioral patterns of individuals and their attitudes towards adopting modern and innovative ideas, it is a purposeful process adopted by the senior management and works to provide the capabilities and requirements for embodying the innovative behavior in it. In the field of dealing with the market, it is a product of the organization's innovative approach, which aims at advancement, change, and intended and organized renewal. The main objective of this article is to determine the most appropriate ways to integrate knowledge management mechanisms to employ innovation factors within universities based on the role of universities in supporting innovation. This was achieved through reviewing many relevant research and listing the most prominent concepts of knowledge management, its importance, objectives, and processes determining the stages of knowledge management application, the requirements for applying knowledge management, and the obstacles that impede its application; Then the statement "Innovation in universities, through which it addressed the concept of innovation, its importance, stages, and requirements for its application, as well as identifying the most prominent models of innovation, and obstacles to innovation, in addition to that the role of universities in supporting innovation will be identified. From the surveyed study done in this article, we concluded that the relationship among organizational culture, knowledge management and innovation capability can provide useful insights for managers regarding developing a strong culture, promote knowledge management practices effectively and eventually enhance the whole organization's innovation capability. Also, we found that different components of Knowledge Management as Knowledge activities, Knowledge types, transformation of knowledge and technology have a significant positive effect in bringing innovation through transformation of knowledge into knowledge assets in universities.

Purpose: Trade in small and medium businesses must improve innovation performance before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The requirement for rapid innovation is being able to compete and survive post-pandemic. This research attempts to investigate the influence of organizational forgetting, knowledge management, and business agility in distributing innovation performance improvementsto SMEs in Tasikmalaya, Indonesia. Research design, data and methodology: In this research, a structural equation modeling approach with SmartPLS was applied. This research used 221 Tasikmalaya SMEs as samples. The findings of this study show that SMEs are still underrepresented in technological advancement. Results: Organizational forgetfulness does not have a significant impact on innovation performance, nor does it have an indirect impact through knowledge management. Business agility, on the other hand, has a significant indirect effect on innovation performance. Knowledge management does not have a significant and direct impact on innovation performance, but business agility has a significant impact. Conclusions: Efforts to enhance SMEs' trade must be willing to challenge the status quo or abandon knowledge that is no longer relevant to current developments to improve business agility and innovation. Technology-oriented SMEs can quickly become agile by implementing organizational forgetting. SME owners must be willing to adapt to technological advances to adopt organizational forgetfulness.

Since the Human Genome Project(HGP) has begun in the mid 1980s, the sequencing of the human genome has been finally completed in 2001. The knowledge developed from the HGP has revolutionized how health care professionals think about patient care, mandating a new paradigm of patient care in totally inconceivable ways from the past. For instance, the patients at risk for disease can be identified early enough for intervention; the medicine can be tailored for individual patients based on their own genetic information ; the gene therapy could be a common procedure in the near future. The advancement in genetics, therefore, requires the shift of paradigm not only in nursing education, practice, but also in nursing research. It is attempted, in this article to introduce briefly the basic knowledge of genetics, the pharmacogenomics, and the overview of national genetic research initiated and organized by the Center for Functional Analysis of Human Genome in Korea. The current state of nursing genetic knowledge and its implications on nursing education, practice, and research has examined. Furthermore, the visions and the opportunities for nursing science and practice to participate in this genetic revolution were also explored.

Recently, the volume of knowledge information in the form of electronic media is quickly increasing in the library field along with the advancement of electronic communication technology. Libraries have both printed data and electronic data and are faced with the issue of corresponding with the access and use of knowledge information in terms of the space. This study is for building the layout of a sustainable knowledge information space based on the view that the library is the official infrastructure of the knowledge information based society. It is intended to analyze the meaning of knowledge information in the modern society, characteristics in the spatial organization and the transmission of knowledge information. The goal of this study is to understand and forecast the spatial structure where users access knowledge information and exchange with one another and developing the direction and guidelines for the spatial plan that today's libraries prefer through this analysis. For this, this study firstly prepared the base for the research on library space which can be considered as the physical realization of such concepts, through the theoretical review about the knowledge information and social concepts as well as characteristics of modern society. Also, it seized the characteristics in the transmission of knowledge information by conducting a structural analysis of the information service such as knowledge information and space, space and information media, space and space through the cases of 10 public libraries. The analysis resulted in basic data including the system of organizing knowledge information, system of knowledge information transferring elements and structure, and layout pattern of each library. These results are deemed meaningful for the promotion of communication with the user through the exchange, creation, and experience of knowledge information, the social role of today's public library.

본 논문은 문화콘텐츠 창조 기반으로서 지식정보의 계층구조를 논하였다. 지식정보는 자료, 정보, 지식, 지혜의 계층구조를 가지며, 학술논문, 연구보고서, 고문헌등의 디지털 자원과 문화유산을 포함 지식콘텐츠로 표현된다. 문화콘텐츠는 역사학이나 민속학 등 인문학의 지식과 문화 자원들이 가진 잠재적, 원형적 가치에 창조성과 실용성을 가미하여 만들어낸 산출물이다. 이 과정에서 지식콘텐츠는 문화콘텐츠를 개발하고 공유 소통하여 부가가치를 창출하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 지식콘텐츠의 구성과정은 자료-정보-지식-지혜로 이어지는 지식정보의 계층 구조를 기반으로 한다. 역사분야의 지식정보화 사업을 중심으로 문화유산으로부터 콘텐츠 개발 현황을 고찰하였다. 이를 통해 지식정보화와 문화콘텐츠 개발이 별개의 과정이 아니라 상호 협력하고 공생해야 하는 연속적인 과정임을 밝혔다. 이 결과로 문화유산이 지식정보로 정리되고 문화콘텐츠 창조에 적극적으로 활용되는 기반이 될 것으로 기대한다.

As B2B (Business to business) develops swiftly, at home as well as in other advanced countries, plans for activating Electronic business are made and proceeded in a national viewpoint. However, it is essential task for the construction, advancement and activation of B2B framework to make an efficient search for differently built -up data from B2C and thus to look for optimal business partner suitable for his/her own business. For this, in the last Aug. of 2001, government has also referred to ebXML, the exchange model for electronic business data based on XML, as a suggestion for B2B framework. The purpose of this study is to develop search system for efficient choice of business partner and this will play an important role for data processing and competitiveness strengthening of small and medium enterprises. Meanwhile, this system is built up by using systemic characteristics registered in ebXML Registry/Repository and ‘question-expanding’ searching ways based on the particulars of business profiles for both objectiveness and maximum efficiency of search result.

3-D medical image reconstruction technique using computer simulation technology has been used in the knowledge of the anatomical features and the biomechanical characteristics with the advancement of computer hardware and software. Especially, the use of 3-D image reconstruction technique in orthopaedics demonstrates that this technique is useful to improve surgical technique as well as to help inform the knowledge of shoulder joint anatomy. The purpose of this article is to introduce the utilization of 3-D image technology in shoulder surgeries.
