  • To determination of antioxidant substance homoorientin, from Phyllostachys bambusoides leaves, the ultrasonic extraction and HPLC on-line $ABTS^+$ screening method were empolyed. Also, the various experimental variables such as the frequency and time of ultrasonic system were investigated and homoorientin was extracted efficiently at the low frequency 35 kHz and the extraction time 60 min. The values were positive peak 1574.71 (relative area, 23.67%) and negative peak 6924.34 (relative area, 1.23%), respectively. This HPLC on-line $ABTS^+$ screening method was rapid and efficient to search for antioxidants from natural products. These results will provide a database for investigating the constituents of natural products and the resources of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.

UIC 518 OR의 가속도계를 이용한 차세대고속열차(HEMU-430X) 동적 거동 안전성 평가 (Safety Evaluation of the Dynamic Behavior of HEMU-430X using the Accelerometers of UIC 518 OR)

  • 차세대고속열차는 국가 연구개발사업으로 국내에서 최초로 개발한 동력분산식 차량이다. 차세대고속열차의 성능시험을 위해 경부고속 구간에서 속도 354.64km/h 까지 1차 시운전을 종료하였다. 따라서 주행안전성을 위해 대차 및 차체의 동적 거동 분석을 통한 안전성 평가가 필요하다. 본 연구의 동적 거동 안전성 분석방법은 UIC 518 OR의 가속도계를 이용한 단순방법(Simplified method)를 이용하였고, 분석구간은 최고속도 지점 기준으로 ${\pm}10{\sim}20km/h$ 범위로 하였다. 이에 분석된 결과 값을 UIC 518 OR의 제한기준 값과 비교하여 차량마다 해당속도에서의 동적 거동과 속도증가에 따른 경향을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 동적 거동 분석결과는 UIC 518 OR 제한기준에 모두 만족하였고, 이러한 경향은 속도 354km/h이상에서도 지속될 것이라 예측된다.

영상정합을 이용한 교통밀도 수집방법과 수집 데이터 비교분석 (A study on the Traffic Density Collect System using View Synthesis and Data Analysis)

  • 교통밀도는 교통수요와 가장 직접적인 관계가 있으므로 거시적인 지표 중에서 가장 중요하다고 알려져 있으며(Traffic Engineering, 2004), 특정시각 주어진 거리 안의 존재하는 차량의 대수로 정의한다. 하지만, 밀도는 기상과 도로조건 및 비용 상의 문제로 인하여 현장에서 직접 수집이 어렵다. 이런 이유로 속도와 교통량보다 상대적으로 연구가 활발하게 이루어지지는 않아 수집방법에 관한 다양한 시도뿐만 아니라 측정된 값의 정확도에 관한 연구가 많이 부족하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 밀도를 측정할 수 있는 방법으로 여러 대의 카메라 영상을 정합(synthesis)하는 기술을 활용하였다. 이러한 밀도수집시스템으로 수집한 밀도를 정의에 기반한 참값으로 선정하고, 이 값을 전통적인 측정방법들로 산출한 밀도와 비교하였다. 비교결과, 관계식(fundamental equation)을 이용한 산출방법으로 산출한 밀도 값이 참값과 비교하여 RMSE(Root Mean Square Error)가 1.8-2.5로 가장 참값에 가깝다. 또한 향후 밀도를 직접 수집할 때 유의하여할 수집 간격 등의 간과하기 쉬운 이슈사항을 순간밀도와 평균밀도를 산출하여 알아보았다. 실험 사이트의 실제 교통상황은 LOS B임에도 불구하고, 초 당 순간밀도는 최대(16veh/km)에서 최소 2(veh/km)의 값이 다양하게 관측되어 교통상황의 판단이 어려웠다. 하지만 30초 간격으로 15분 평균밀도는 8.3-7.9(veh/km)로 정확하게 LOS B를 판단하였다.

  • 카드뮴 1 mM를 함유한 배지에서 배양된 고도 카드뮴 내성 효모 Hansenula anomala B-7으로부터 분리한 malate dehydrogenase(카드뮴 적응 MDH)와 카드뮴을 함유하지 않은 배지에서 배양된 사용균주의 malate dehydrogenase(카드뮴 비적응 MDH)활성에 미치는 금속 이온의 영향을 비교 검토했다. 카드뮴 적응 MDH와 비적응 MDH 활성은 1 mM $Cd^{2+}$에 의하여 대조구에 비하여 450%와 150%가 각각 증가되었으며, 카드뮴 적응 MDH 활성은 1 mM $Zn^{2+}$, $Mn^{2+}$$Cu^{2+}$에 의하여 각각 147%, 150%와 135% 증가되었다. 더욱이, 카드뮴 적응 MDH 활성은 2 mM $Cd^{2+}$와 2.5 mM $Zn^{2+}$에 의하여 각각 925%와 250% 증가되었다. 카드뮴에 의한 카드뮴 적응 MDH의 활성 촉진은 효소반응 4분으로 최대값에 도달했으나, 카드뮴 비적응 MDH의 활성 촉진은 효소 반응 초기인 1분으로 최대값에 도달했다. 카드뮴 적응 MDH와 비적응 MDH의 Km값은 두 효소 모두 6.9 mM L-malate였다. 그러나, 카드뮴 비적응 MDH 활성은 카드뮴에 의하여 Km값이 변화되지 않았고 Vmax만 증가되었으나 카드뮴 적응 MDH 활성은 카드뮴에 의하여 Km값과 Vmax값 모두 변화되었다.

  • Authors have tested on the characteristics, image qualities and clinical applications of Konica Hi-ortho X-ray film MGH. The results are as followed; 1. The speeds of KM/MG, MGH were as about 2.7 times, and those of KR/MG, MGH were as about 4.5 times as compared with LT-II/A and the tube voltage influenced upon KM/MG, MGH over 80 kVp, upon KR/MG, MGH over 90kVp. 2. Good image definition by the detection of Burger Phanton KM/MGH, KM/MG, and LT-II/A, and good I.Q. values by the detection of Hawlet Chart LT-II/A, KM/MGH, and KM/MG in that order. Therefore, MGH film could reduce the patient dose steeply, and furthermore, provide high image quality by the high contrast and then, it will be very useful to abdominal angiography and cerebral angiography.

상시관측소의 데이터를 이용한 GPS측량의 정밀도분석 (Precision Analysis of GPS Surveying Using Continuos Stations)

  • 본 연구는 GPS 상시관측소의 데이터를 이용한 GPS 정밀 측지측량을 실시하고 그 정밀도를 분석하여, 실용적인 GPS 상시관측소 활용 방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 우리나라는 1985년 한국 천문연구원을 시작으로, 2002년 현재 수 십여개의 상시관측소가 운영되고 있으나, 그 자료의 이용도가 미미한 수준이므로 많은 예산을 투입하여 운행중인 GPS 상시관측소의 적극적인 활용 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다. GPS 정밀 측지측량 결과 인천대학교 구내의 두 측정점과 국립지리원 수원측정소와의 폐합차는 0.0206m이었으며 서울측정소와의 폐합차는 0.0118m이었다. 또한 한국천문연구원 서울측정소와의 폐합차는 0.0129m이었으며 행정자치부의 지적과 인천측정소와의 폐합차는 0.0024m이었다. 상시관측소의 데이터를 사용할 경우 GPS를 이용한 정밀 1,2차 기준점 측량 작업규정에 명시된 오차한계인 거리 3km미만시 30mm, 거리 30km 이상 $IPPM{\times}D(km)$과 비교하여 볼 때 매우 좋은 분석값을 가짐을 알 수 있었다.

멧돼지(Sus scrofa) 서식지 및 이동 특성을 고려한 연결성 모델링 연구 (A Study on the Connectivity Modeling Considering the Habitat and Movement Characteristics of Wild Boars (Sus scrofa))

  • Wild boars(Sus scrofa) are expanding their range of behavior as their habitats change. Appearing in urban centers and private houses, it caused various social problems, including damage to crops. In order to prevent damage and effectively manage wild boars, there is a need for ecological research considering the characteristics and movement characteristics of wild boars. The purpose of this study is to analyze home range and identify land cover types in key areas through tracking wild boars, and to predict the movement connectivity of wild boars in consideration of previous studies and their preferred land use characteristics. In this study, from January to June 2021, four wild boars were captured and tracked in Jinju city, Gyeongsangnam-do, and the preferred land cover type of wild boars was identified based on the MCP 100%, KDE 95%, and KDE 50% results. As a result of the analysis of the home range for each individual, it was found that 100% of MCP was about 0.68km2, 2.77km2, 2.42km2, and 0.16km2, and the three individuals overlapped the home range, refraining from habitat movement and staying in the preferred area. The core areas were analyzed as about 0.55km2, 2.05km2, 0.82km2, and 0.14km2 with KDE 95%., and about 0.011km2, 0.033km2, 0.004km2, and 0.003km2 with KDE 50%. When the preferred land cover type of wild boar was confirmed based on the results of analysis of the total home range area and core area that combined all individuals, forests were 55.49% (MCP 100%), 54.00% (KDE 95%), 77.69% (KDE 50%), respectively, with the highest ratio, and the urbanization area, grassland, and agricultural area were relatively high. A connectivity scenario was constructed in which the ratio of the land cover type preferred by the analyzed wild boar was reflected as a weight for the resistance value of the connectivity analysis, and this was compared with the connectivity evaluation results analyzed based on previous studies and wild boar characteristics. When the current density values for the wild boar movement data were compared, the average value of the existing scenario was 2.76, the minimum 1.12, and the maximum 4.36, and the weighted scenario had an average value of 2.84, the minimum 0.96, and the maximum 4.65. It was confirmed that, on average, the probability of movement predictability was about 2.90% better even though the weighted scenario had movement restrictions due to large resistance values. It is expected that the identification of the movement route through the movement connectivity analysis of wild boars can be suggested as an alternative to prevent damage by predicting the point of appearance. In the future, when analyzing the connectivity of species including wild boar, it is judged that it will be effective to use movement data on actual species.

  • During the period from July 1st to the end of November 1970, a survey on air pollution and noise level was made in Seoul, Pusan and Taegu, the three largest cities in Korea. Each city was divided into 4-6 areas; the industrial area, the semi-industrial area, the commercial area, the residential area, the park area and the downtown area. Thirty eight sites were selected from each area. A. Method of Measurement : Dustfall was measured by the Deposit Gauge Method, sulfur oxides by $PbO_2$ cylinder method, suspended particles by the Digital Dust Indicator, Sulfur dioxide ($SO_2$) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) by the MSA & Kitakawa Detector and the noise levels by Rion Sound Survey meter. B. Results: 1. The mean value of dustfall in 3 cities was $30.42ton/km^2/month$, ranging from 8.69 to 95.44. 2. The mean values of dustfall by city were $33.17ton/km^2/month$ in Seoul, 32.11 in Pusan and 25.97 in Taegu. 3. The mean values of dustfall showed a trend of decreasing order of semi-industrial area, downtown area, industrial area, commercial area, residential area, and park area. 4. The mean value of dustfall in Seoul by area were $52.32ton/km^2/month$ in downtown, 50.54 in semi-industrial area, 40.37 in industrial area, 24,19 in commercial area, 16.25 in park area and 15.39 in residential area in order of concentration. 5. The mean values of dustfall in Pusan by area were $48.27ton/km^2/month$ in semi-industrial area, 36.68 in industrial area 25.31 in commercial area, and 18.19 in residential area. 6. The mean values of dustfall in Taegu by area were $36.46ton/km^2/month$ in downtown area, 33.52 in industrial area, 20.37 in commercial area and 13.55 in residential area. 7. The mean values of sulfur oxides in 3 cities were $1.52mg\;SO_3/day/100cm^2\;PbO_2$, ranging from 0.32 to 4.72. 8. The mean values of sulfur oxides by city were $1.89mg\;SO_3/day/100cm^2\;PbO_2$ in Pusan, 1.64 in Seoul and 1.21 in Taegu. 9. The mean values of sulfur oxides by area in 3 cities were $2.16mg\;SO_3/day/100cm^2\;PbO_2$ in industrial area, 1.69 in semi-industrial area, 1.50 in commercial area, 1.48 in downtown area, 1.32 in residential area and 0.94 in the park area, respectively. 10. The monthly mean values of sulfur oxides contents showed a steady increase from July reaching a peak in November. 11. The mean values of suspended particles was $2.89mg/m^3$, ranging from 1.15 to 5.27. 12. The mean values of suspended particles by city were $3.14mg/m^3$ in Seoul, 2.79 in Taegu and 2.25 in Pusan. 13. The mean values of noise level in 3 cities was 71.3 phon, ranging from 49 to 99 phon. 14. The mean values of noise level by city were 73 phon in Seoul, 72 in Pusan, and 69 in Taegu in that order. 15. The mean values of noise level by area in 3 cities showed a decrease in the order of the downtown area, commercial area, industrial area and semi-industrial area, park area and residential area. 16. The comparison of the noise levels by area in 3 cities indicated that the highest level was detected in the downtown area in Seoul and Taegu and in the industrial area in Pusan. 17. The daily average concentration of sulfur dioxides ($SO_2$) in 3 cities was 0.081 ppm, ranging from 0.004 to 0.196. 18. The daily average concentrations of sulfur dioxides by city were 0.092 ppm in Seoul, 0.089 in Pusan and 0.062 in Taegu in that order. 19. The weekly average concentration of carbon monoxides(CO) was 27.59 ppm. 20. The daily average concentrations of carbon monoxides by city were 33.37 ppm. in Seoul, 25.76 in Pusan and 23.65 in Taegu in that order. 21. The concentration of $SO_2$ and CO reaches a peak from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. 22. About 3 times probably the daily average concentration of CO could be detected in the downtown area probably due to heavy traffic emission in comparison with that in the industial area. 23. As for daily variation of the concentration of $SO_2$ and CO it was found that the concentration maintains relatively higher value during weekdays in the industrial area and on the first part of the week in the downtown area.

차량 운행에 따른 엔진오일의 성능특성 평가 연구 (The study on performance of characteristics in engine oil by vehicle driving)

  • 엔진오일은 다양한 내연기관의 윤활을 위한 가장 기본적인 윤활제이다. 최근 자동차사 및 엔진오일 제조사 등은 엔진오일의 교환주기를 15000~20000 km를 권장하고 있는 반면, 대부분의 정비관련업자 및 운전자들은 엔진오일의 성능진보와는 별개로 관습적으로 매5000 km 마다 엔진오일을 교환권유 또는 인식하고 있다. 빈번한 엔진오일의 교환은 폐엔진오일로 인한 환경오염과 차량 유지비 등의 증가요인으로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 신유와 실제 운행조건의 차량을 활용하여 5000 km, 10000 km를 각각 주행한 후 회수된 사용엔진오일의 다양한 물성으로 인화점, 유동점, 동점도, 저온겉보기점도, 전산가, 4구식 내마모시험 및 금속분을 조사 분석하였다. 결과적으로 사용엔진오일은 신유에 비해 전산가, 마모흔, 철과 구리 성분 증가가 다소 관찰되었지만, 주행거리별 사용엔진오일의 물성 및 금속분 변화는 거의 유사하였다.

Analysis of the axle load of an agricultural tractor during plow tillage and harrowing

  • Analysis of the load on the tractor during field operations is critical for the optimal design of the tractor. The purpose of this study was to do a load analysis of an agricultural tractor during plowing and harrowing. First, a load measurement system was developed and installed in a 71 kW agricultural tractor. Strain-gauges with a telemetry system were installed in the shaft located between the axles and the wheels, and used to measure the torque of the four driving axles. Second, field experiments were conducted for two types of field operations (plowing, harrowing), each at two gear levels (M2, M3). Third, load analysis was conducted according to field operation and gear level. At M2 gear selection for plowing, the maximum, minimum, and average (S. D.) torque values were 13,141 Nm; 4,381 Nm; and 6,971 Nm (${\pm}397.8Nm$, respectively). For harrowing, at M2 gear selection, torque values were, 14,504 Nm; 1,963 Nm; and 6,774 Nm (${\pm}459.4Nm$, respectively). At M3 gear selection for plowing, the maximum, minimum, and average (S. D.) torque values were,17,098 Nm; 6,275 Nm; and 8,509 Nm (${\pm}462.4Nm$, respectively). For harrowing at M3 gear selection, maximum, minimum, and average (S. D.) torque values were, 20,266 Nm; 2,745 Nm; and 9,968 Nm (${\pm}493.2$). The working speed of the tractor increased by approximately 143% when shifted from M2 (7.2 km/h) to M3 (10.3 km/h); while during plow tillage and harrowing, the load of the tractor increased approximately 1.2 times and 1.5 times, respectively.
