A Study on User's Requirement Analysis for Improvement of OASIS (한의학술논문검색시스템 기능개선을 위한 사용자 요구 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Thanks to current development of many search engines and web technologies, a new semantic searching technology appears, featuring giving a relevant meaning to the keyword beyond the previous keyword search service. On the wave of advance of various search engines, the enhancement of OASIS offered by KIOM is needed as well. To do this, KIOM examined demographic and sociological analysis on their position, status, and career, the convenience of OASIS, and the value of papers offered in OASIS from members who have ever used it. Furthermore, the importance of each area involved in oriental medicine is also examined in terms of a new direction for OASIS improvement. Based on the result of the user survey, it turned out that not only an automatic search system that can find meaning of chinese character-centered key words but also a Authority-system which can distinguish homonym beyond simple keyword search system should be introduced quickly. Also, we reached the conclusion that it is necessary to interconnect a citation index information on references with laboratory information of the agencies concerned and interconnect major web sites around the world by using Open API. OASIS is the only domestic web site for offering papers that cover oriental medicine. Therefore, if requirements about the site in oriental medical circles are analyzed sufficiently and the problems of its information search system are improved, OASIS is expected to play a critical role in the development of oriental medicine.

  • Ischemic stroke is a disease that the brain tissues cannot function by reducing blood flow due to thrombosis or embolisms. Due to the nature of the disease, it is most important to identify the status of cerebral vessel and the medical images are necessarily used for its diagnosis. Among many indicators, brain MRI is most widely utilized because experts can effectively obtain the semantic information such as cerebral anatomy aiding the diagnosis with it. However, in case of emergency diseases like ischemic stroke, even though a intelligent system is required for supporting the prompt diagnosis and treatment, the current systems have some difficulties to provide the information of medical images intuitively. In other words, as the current systems have managed the medical images based on the basic meta-data such as image name, ID and so on, they cannot consider semantic information inherent in medical images. Therefore, in this paper, to provide core information like cerebral anatomy contained in brain MRI, we suggest a template-driven medical images mapping method. The key idea of the method is defining the mapping characteristics between anatomic feature and representative images by using template images that can be representative of the whole brain MRI image set and revealing the semantic relations that only medical experts can check between images. With our method, it will be possible to manage the medical images based on semantic.

  • This Paper Proposes an approach that removes the redundancy of Path information and uses an inverted index, as an efficient way to store a large volume of XML documents and to retrieve wanted information from there. An XML document is decomposed into nodes based on its tree structure, and stored in relational tables according to the node type, with path information from the root to each node. The existing methods using path information store data for all element paths, which cause retrieval performance to be decreased with increased data volume. Our approach stores only data for leaf element path excluding internal element paths. As the inverted index is made by the leaf element path only, the number of posting lists by key words become smaller than those of the existing methods. For the storage and retrieval of U data, our approach doesn't require the XML schema information of XML documents and any extension of relational database. We demonstrate the better performance of on approach than the existing approaches within the scope of our experiment.

  • Metal prices are rapidly rising due to increasing demand of metals and limited available resources according to the industrial requirement. As a result, securing a stable supply of these metal resources has been recognized as a core element of national competitiveness and sustained economic growth. In the case of magnesium and its alloys which are entirely depending on import, low-grade magnesium scraps from end-of-life vehicles and 3C(Camera, Computer, Communication) parts and magnesium wastes such as sludge and dross generated during melting process are hardly recycled. Accordingly, the development and commercialization of recycling technology of low-grade magnesium scrap is desperately needed to improve efficiency of resource circulation and to establish the required proprietary of resource metal supply and demand. In this study, papers and patents on recycling technologies of waste magnesium were analyzed. The range of search was limited in the open patents of USA (US), European Union (EP), Japan (JP), Korea (KR) and SCI journals from 1974 to 2012. Patents and journals were collected using key-words searching and filtered by filtering criteria. The trends of the patents and journals was analyzed by the years, countries, companies, and technologies.

Changes of IgM and IgG antibody levels in experimental rabbit anisakiasis as observed by ELISA and SDS-PAGE/immunoblot (ELISA와 SDS-PAGE/immunoblot을 이용한 실험적 토끼 아니사키스증에서 혈청 항체가의 변화)

  • Antibody changes in experimental anisakiasis were observed in 10 rabbits which were infected each with 10 Anisakis simplex larvae. The sera were collected before and on the 6th to the 95th day after the infection. Using crude saline extract of Anisakis larvae as antigen, specific IgM and IgG antibody levels were observed by ELISA and SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresislimmunoblot. Levels of specific-IgM antibody were elevated from the 6th day, reached their peaks on the lIth day after the infection, and dropped thereafter. Serum levels of IgG antibody increased from the 6th day and reached their peak on the 26th day after the infection, and decreased gradually thereafter. When SDS-PAGE of the crude extract was done, at least forty-one SDS-polypeptide bands were recognized. Of them, IgM antibody reacted mainly to the bands of 168, 95, 74, 64, 51, 47 and 34 kDa while IgG antibody reacted strongly to 168, 92, 85, 64, 58, 52, 42 and 40 kDa bands. The crude extract showed negligible cross reactions with sera of other parasitic diseases and normal control.   • Today, it is necessary to calculate orbits with high accuracy in space flight. The key words of Poincar$\acute{e}$ in celestial mechanics are periodic solutions, invariant integrals, asymptotic solutions, characteristic exponents and the non existence of new single-valued integrals. Poincar$\acute{e}$ define an invariant integral of the system as the form which maintains a constant value at all time $t$, where the integration is taken over the arc of a curve and $Y_i$ are some functions of $x$, and extend 2 dimension and 3 dimension. Eigenvalues are classified as the form of trajectories, as corresponding to nodes, foci, saddle points and center. In periodic solutions, the stability of periodic solutions is dependent on the properties of their characteristic exponents. Poincar$\acute{e}$ called bifurcation that is the possibility of existence of chaotic orbit in planetary motion. Existence of near exceptional trajectories as Hadamard's accounts, says that there are probabilistic orbits. In this context we study the eigenvalue problem in early 20th century in three body problem by analyzing the works of Darwin, Bruns, Gyld$\acute{e}$n, Sundman, Hill, Lyapunov, Birkhoff, Painlev$\acute{e}$ and Hadamard.

A Study of Diaphoretic Therapy[汗法] in "Yumunsachin(儒門事親)" ("유문사친(儒門事親)"의 '한법(汗法)'에 관한 연구)

  • Jangjahwa(張子和) was influenced by "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)" and Yuhagan(劉河間)'s theory, and other classics. Also, his clinical experience was helpful to theorize his thought. Thus, he improved medical theory by combining previous medical theory and his own experience. The essence of his thought is the importance of pathogenic Gi[邪氣] as the cause of disease and is Sambeop(三法) of Hantoha(汗吐下) as the methodology for removing pathogenic Gi[邪氣] away. He regarded pathogenic Gi as the cause of disease, and eliminated pathogenic Gi for the remedy. Namely, Sambeop(三法) of Hantoha(汗吐下) was selected as the best efficient method for driving pathogenic Gi away. Sambeop of Jangjahwa(張子和) have different meaning from previous one. Traditionally, Diaphoretic Therapy[汗法] was regarded as therapy for exogenous disease[外感病], and its effect was regarded as Balhanhaepyo(發汗解表). Emetic therapy[吐法] was throwing up Dameumsuksik(痰飮宿食) of stomach and above diaphragm. Purgation therapy[下法] means Tongbyeon(通便), Hajeok(下積), Sasil(瀉實), Chuksu(逐水) were regarded as therapy for Yangmyeongsiljeung(陽明實證) of Sanghan(傷寒). He submitted a new extensive concept of Sambeop adding traditional one, and expanded the application range of Sambeop. All methods, can cause circulation of Gihyeol(氣血) by opening the 'Hyeonbu(玄府)', like Moxibution therapy[灸薰], Steaming[蒸], Washing[洗],Heat therapy[慰], Cauterization[烙], Acupuncture therapy[鍼刺], Stone needling, Physical and breathing exercise[導引], Massage[按摩] were regarded as Diaphoretic Therapy[汗法]. Especially, he thought that Diaphoretic Therapy and venesection[瀉血] have same medical implication. If we examine the process of pushing out pathogenic Gi[邪氣] by means of Sambeop(三法), we can find the intermediation, that is circulation of Gihyeol(氣血). Its meaning is implied in the word of 'opening Hyeonbu(玄府)'. He thought that the circulation of Gihyeol(氣血) is the key to control health. Gihyeol(氣血) was circulated well under the physiological balance, but it was not circulated well under the invasion of pathogenic Gi[邪氣]. In other words, pathogenic Gi is the immediate cause of bad circulation of Gihyeol(氣血) and disease. Naturally, the doctor must remove pathogenic Gi that cause bad circulation for healing by means of Sambeop(三法). In my opinion, because the ultimate goal of Jangjahwa(張子和) was circulation of Gihyeol(氣血) by removing pathogenic Gi[邪氣], the concept of Sarnbeop(三法) could be expanded.

  • Since the 1990s, the rapid development of information and communication industry, the demand for semiconductor and LCD continues to increase. Therefore in the formation of fine circuit patterns, which are the cores of sensitizer and the most expensive thinner and stripper liquor used to remove photoresist and its dilution, the amount in demand are dramatically increasing, emerging need for recycling of waste thinner and stripper liquor. Recently, recycling technologies of stripping process waste solution has been widely studied by economic aspects and environmental aspects, in terms of efficiency of the stripping process. In this study, analyzed paper and patent for recycling technologies of waste solution from stripping process. The range of search was limited in the open patents of USA (US), European Union (EP), Japan (JP), Korea (KR) and SCI journals from 1981 to 2010. Occupational Therapy for Activity and Participation of Children and Adolescents With Developmental Disability: A Systematic Review (국내 발달장애 아동·청소년의 작업치료 목표에 대한 체계적 고찰: ICF-CY 모델의 활동과 참여를 중심으로)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to provide evidence for a systematic analysis of occupational therapy interventions for the activity and participation of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. Methods : The articles used in this study were collected from the RISS, KISS, and DBpia databases. The key words used were "children and occupational therapy" "children and sensory integration," "adolescent and occupational therapy," "adolescent and sensory integration," "developmental disorder and occupational therapy," and "developmental disorder and sensory integration." The research period was limited to January 2008 to August 2018. Seven articles in total were selected for systematic analysis. Results : Most of the included works were single-case studies, and most subjects dealt with the autism spectrum disorder. The majority of the interventions used involved sensory integration. Occupational therapy interventions were self-care (33%), major life area (33%), learning and application (11%), communication (11%), and mobility (11%). Conclusion : This study will help with understanding the current state of occupational therapy interventions for the activity and participation. On the basis of this understanding, various studies on this subject are expected to be conducted in the future.

  • It is over 12 years since the launch of Korea Train eXpress (KTX) services. Demand for the KTX has been on the increase continuously but few studies have been produced related to this phenomenon. KTX passenger demand has been constantly increasing due to influencing factors such as the expansion of network, rise of oil prices, etc. In this study, our main focus is to verify that there are other types of elements that are causing an increase in KTX demand; our approach looks at changes in social and psychological aspect that have occurred due to the reduction of travel time and cost, as well as the imposition of a five-day workweek. In other words, we considered diffusion theory in the marketing area, which affects product selection and purchasing attitudes, as a key factor that is causing passenger demand to increase. That is to say that it is hypothesized that the demand for travel on the KTX has increased due to the train's utility, which is spread by the diffusion effect Therefore, the Bass diffusion model was applied to explain the dramatic increase in KTX passenger demand. Based on this foundation, it was also discussed how certain marketing strategies that incorporate the diffusion effect should be considered variously for sustainable management of rail transportation, while considering a steady passenger demand.
