토양환경보전법의 토양오염 관련 주요 용어의 정의 및 재정립에 관한 고찰 (Suggestion for Legal Definitions of Keywords on Soil Contamination Policies in Korea)

  • 토양오염에 관련된 토양환경보전법의 주요 용어인 토양, 토양오염, 토양오염부지, 정화에 대해 미국, 영국, 네덜란드, 독일, 덴마크의 주요 법에서 나타난 용어와 비교 분석하였다. 토양오염에 관련된 주요 용어의 정의는 국가별로 내용과 수준이 다르다. 이는 각국에서의 토양오염이 실태가 다르고 또한 사회적 문제에서 이들이 차지하는 비중이 동일하지 않으며, 국가별로 토양오염을 방지하고 토양오염의 위해성을 저감하기 위한 이들 국가들의 법과 사회의 발전 배경, 추구하는 토양환경보전정책의 목표와 접근방법이 같지 아니하기 때문일 것이다. 우리나라의 실정과 외국의 관련법, 이들 법의 마련 배경 등을 종합적으로 고려할 때, 토양환경보전법에서 다루는 토양의 정의는 신설되어야 할 것이고, 토양의 정의에는 토양화 과정을 거쳐 생성된 자연적인 지표층을 포함하고 지하수와 하수층을 제외하는 토양의 범위가 제시되는 것이 바람직할 것이다. 토양오염의 정의에는 위해성 평가의 개념(토양오염물질, 경로, 수용체), 토지 이용, 경제적 개념, 토양오염의 인정한계가 포함되어야 할 것이다. 토양오염의 발생주체에 따라 대상 부지의 토양오염여부가 결정될 수 있는 토양환경보전법 제2조 제1호는 대상 부지의 위해성에 의해서 토양오염여부가 결정되는 내용으로 변경해야 할 것이다. 토양오염부지의 정의는 i) 토양오염물질 등을 포함한 토양오염, ii) 위해성에 근거한 토양오염부지의 설정, iii) 토지 이용, iv) 토양오염부지 설정의 한계에 관한 개념을 적절하게 혼합하여 마련할 수 있을 것이다. 토양오염지역 정화의 정의에는 정화의 목표, 목적, 행위, 방법과 범위, 정화의 한계가 포함되어야 할 것이다. 금번 연구에서 제안하고 있는 용어의 정의는 우리 나라 토양오염지역의 조사, 복원, 해제에 관한 법, 제도의 효율성을 제고할 것이다.

Sequencing, Genomic Structure, Chromosomal Mapping and Association Study of the Porcine ADAMTS1 Gene with Litter Size

  • A disintegrin-like and metalloprotease (reprolysin type) with thrombospondin type 1 motif (ADAMTS1) plays a critical role in follicular rupture and represents a major advance in the proteolytic events that control ovulation. In this study, a 9,026-bp DNA sequence containing the full coding region, all 8 introns and part of the 5'and 3' untranslated region of the porcine ADAMTS1 gene was obtained. Analysis of the ADAMTS1 gene using the porcine radiation hybrid panel indicated that pig ADAMTS1 is closely linkage with microsatellite marker S0215, located on SSC13q49. The open reading frame of its cDNA covered 2,844 bp and encoded 947 amino acids. The coding region of porcine ADAMTS1 as determined by sequence alignments shared 85% and 81% identity with human and mouse cDNAs, respectively. The deduced protein contained 947 amino acids showing 85% sequence similarity both to the human and mouse proteins, respectively. Comparative sequencing of three pig breeds revealed one single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) within exon 7 of which a G-C substitution at position 6006 changes a codon for arginine into a codon for proline. The substitution was situated within a PvuII recognition site and developed as a PCR-RFLP marker for further use in population variation investigations and association analysis with litter size. Allele frequencies of this SNP were investigated in seven pig breeds/lines. An association analysis in a new Qingping female line suggested that different ADAMTS1 genotypes have significant differences in litter size (p<0.01).

Molecular Cloning of Two Genes Encoding Cinnamate 4-Hydroxylase (C4H) from Oilseed Rape (Brassica napus)

  • Cinnamate 4-hydroxylase (C4H) is a key enzyme of phenylpropanoid pathway, which synthesizes numerous secondary metabolites to participate in development and adaption. Two C4H isoforms, the 2192-bp BnC4H-1 and 2108-bp BnC4H-2, were cloned from oilseed rape (Brassica napus). They both have two introns and a 1518-bp open reading frame encoding a 505-amino-acid polypeptide. BnC4H-1 is 57.73 kDa with an isoelectric point of 9.11, while 57.75 kDa and 9.13 for BnC4H-2. They share only 80.6% identities on nucleotide level but 96.6% identities and 98.4% positives on protein level. Showing highest homologies to Arabidopsis thaliana C4H, they possess a conserved p450 domain and all P450-featured motifs, and are identical to typical C4Hs at substrate-recognition sites and active site residues. They are most probably associated with endoplasmic reticulum by one or both of the N- and C-terminal transmembrane helices. Phosphorylation may be a necessary post-translational modification. Their secondary structures are dominated by alpha helices and random coils. Most helices locate in the central region, while extended strands mainly distribute before and after this region. Southern blot indicated about 9 or more C4H paralogs in B. napus. In hypocotyl, cotyledon, stem, flower, bud, young- and middle-stage seed, they are co-dominantly expressed. In root and old seed, BnC4H-2 is dominant over BnC4H-1, with a reverse trend in leaf and pericarp. Paralogous C4H numbers in Brassicaceae genomes and possible roles of conserved motifs in 5' UTR and the 2nd intron are discussed.

Ecological Impact Analysis of a Stream on the Dam Construction Using Species Biotic Index (SBI) as a Tool of Ecosystem Health Assessment

  • Species biotic index (SBI), based on a fish assemblage, was applied to a stream assessment using long-term ecological fish data set (1996 to 2001) in Boryong dam area, which is located in the mainstream of Ungchun Stream of Chungnam province, Korea. According to the methods of Hilsenhoff (1988), the scores of tolerance guild assigned 10 classes to each species by its habitat and feeding guild, but modified current 7 criteria to 5 scoring standards due to unclear borderline among species. Relative abundance in the species number of upper stream guilds was only 7% of the total, whereas the abundance in the species number of middle to downstream upper stream guilds was 64%. Mean SBI, based on dataset in Site 1 during 1995-2001 averaged 5.10, which was judged as a "good" condition by the rank criteria of SBI. Before the dam construction, mean SBI in the Site 1 was 4.61, indicating a "good" condition, but after the dam construction, mean SBI was 5.60, indicating a "fair" condition. Trajectory analysis in the Site 1 showed significantly (One-way ANOVA, $F_{6,21}=3.26$, p=0.02) different among years, reflecting the changes of fish composition and population density by the dam construction, whereas Site 2 showed no significant changes ($F_{6,21}=1.00$, P =0.45) difference among years. Mean SBI prior to the dam construction in the Site 3 was 4.52 but after the construction, the value was 6.30, indicating a distinct difference between the pre- and post-dam construction. Trajectory analysis at the Site 3 supported this fact: Values of SBI showed significantly ($F_{6,21}$=14.37, p<0.01) different. Mean SBI was 4.67 in the Site 4, indicating a "good" condition in the health and the health rank was same as the sampling sites 1, 2, and 4. Trajectory in the Site 4 showed no significant ($F_{6,21}=2.35$, p=0.07) difference among the years. Overall, our trajectory analysis indicated that three of four sampling sites (sites 1, 3, 4) showed significant decreases (n=7, p<0.05) and that the proportions of sensitive species declined evidently in the sites 1 and 2 and the tolerant species increased in the dam sites. Our outcomes may be used as a key data for diagnosis of the long-term ecological impact in the future in the watershed.

NCS기반교육 연구동향 분석을 통한 전문대학의 NCS확산연구 (A Study on the Diffusion of NCS-based Curriculum in Junior Colleges based on the Analysis of Research Trends)

  • 우리나라 국가직무능력표준(NCS)에서 직무능력은 현업에서 업무를 수행하는데 필요한 스킬이나 기술 외에도 조직의 구성원으로 갖추고 있어야 할 공통능력, 해당 직무를 수행하는데 필요한 지식, 기술, 태도, 가치관 등을 포함하는 개념으로 정의하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근 국내에서 발표된 NCS기반 교육관련 연구논문을 중심으로 NCS기반 교육과정의 설계와 운영, 각 개별 NCS기반 교육과정 설계에 포함되어야 할 직무능력 구성요인, NCS 도입 및 확산을 촉진시킬 수 있는 핵심요인,NCS기반 교육·훈련과정의 긍정적 효과 및 부정적 효과 등으로 구분하여 간략히 요약해 보고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 교육적 시사점을 살펴보고 전문대학에서의 NCS기반 교육과정 확산의 당위성을 논의해 보고자 한다. 또한 상당한 관련 데이터가 축적되고 NCS확산의 중추적인 역할을 할 수 있는 한국산업인력공단과 NCS 웹사이트의 기능과 역할을 살펴보고 전문대학의 교육강화 측면에서의 몇 가지 제안점을 제시한다.

웹 사이트 컨텐츠 변경 모니터링 시스템 (The Monitoring System for Informing the Change of Contents on the Web Sites)

  • 웹의 급속한 보관은 전세계에 흩어져 있는 무한한 정보를 손쉽게 얹을 수 있도록 하였지만, 인터넷 공간의 엄청난 정보의 양은 사용자들이 관심을 가지고 있는 정보의 변경을 곧 바로 인식하는데 많은 어려움을 주고 있다. 즉, 사용자가 수시로 변하는 웹 문서의 변경을 탐지하기 위해서는 해당 사이트에 접속하여 일일이 검사하여야 한다. 따라서 웹에서 변화된 정보를 자동적으로 감지하여 사용자에게 알려주는 정보변화 감시(Information change monitoring)기능을 수행하는 로봇의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 웹사이트 문서의 변경을 모니터링 하기 위하여 모니터링할 대상 URL, 모니터링 조건, 모니터링 주기 등을 사용자가 정의하면, 변경이 발생할 경우 사용자에게 알람이나 E- mail을 통하여 자동으로 통지하여 주는 웹 사이트 컨텐츠 변경 모니터링 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 웹 문서를 의미있는 단위로 구조화시키는 변경 방법과 HTML 태그를 이용하여 의미있는 단위로 분류시키는 방법을 제시하였다.

Nature-based Tourism in Small Islands Adjacent to Jakarta City, Indonesia: A case study from Seribu Islands

  • In this paper, the nature-based tourism is described as one of the tools to achieve sustainable development in small islands. The study was carried out at Ayer, Bidadari and Onrust Islands of Kepulauan Seribu chains at Jakarta Bay, Indonesia. While the historical records show that previous uses of such islands have started at sixteen century, tourism uses was started at the beginning of 1970s. Among nature-based tourism destination in Kepulauan Seribu chains, these islands are the famous destinations and received a lot of tourists. Tourism growth at these islands has stimulated development of numerous tourism facilities and infrastructure to meet visitor satisfaction. It is observed in this study that island's site-plan destination design has contributed to the successful and sustainability of tourism in small island. The key success lies on the successful integration and implementation of three substantial perspectives into practices, namely economic, ecosystem and social perspectives. First, in order to enhance economic benefits, a site-plan design allowing floating cottages establishment to extent room availability, to build strong images as tropical paradise islands, and to enhance tourist satisfaction with the objectives of improving income and sustaining tourist loyalty to the destination. This design is also reducing land risk from tourism impact and it becomes the significant key of second perspective, the ecosystem perspective. Moreover, the ecosystem perspective has been implemented through native vegetation preservation that led island's wildlife conservation and became potential tourism attraction. The design also develops effective mechanism to manage and regulate visitor flows by establishing visitor track corridors. In implementation, such corridor plays an important role to reduce tourist density in single places and therefore become instrument to reduce severe visitor impact to wildlife, vegetation and heritages of islands. Third, the social aspect of development allowing heritages to conserve and furthermore serve numerous benefits for education, socio-political, culture, and historical studies. Through this study, it is clear that the success of these islands to continuous tourism growth lies on the island's vision to integrate economic, ecosystem and social perspectives on tourism development.

Comparison between wind load by wind tunnel test and in-site measurement of long-span spatial structure

  • The full-scale measurements are compared with the wind tunnel test results for the long-span roof latticed spatial structure of Shenzhen Citizen Center. A direct comparison of model testing results to full-scale measurements is always desirable, not only in validating the experimental data and methods but also in providing better understanding of the physics such as Reynolds numbers and scale effects. Since the quantity and location of full-scale measurements points are different from those of the wind tunnel tests taps, the weighted proper orthogonal decomposition technique is applied to the wind pressure data obtained from the wind tunnel tests to generate a time history of wind load vector, then loads acted on all the internal nodes are obtained by interpolation technique. The nodal mean wind pressure coefficients, root-mean-square of wind pressure coefficients and wind pressure power spectrum are also calculated. The time and frequency domain characteristics of full-scale measurements wind load are analyzed based on filtered data-acquisitions. In the analysis, special attention is paid to the distributions of the mean wind pressure coefficients of center part of Shenzhen Citizen Center long-span roof spatial latticed structure. Furthermore, a brief discussion about difference between the wind pressure power spectrum from the wind tunnel experiments and that from the full-scale in-site measurements is compared. The result is important fundament of wind-induced dynamic response of long-span spatial latticed structures.

인터넷 패션 소호 쇼핑몰 활성화를 위한 촉진전략 연구 (A Study on the Promotion Strategy for Internet Fashion Soho Shopping Mall)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the promotion methods for successful management of 'the fashion saho internet shopping mall' with a small capital. This study analyze the research reports, the news items, the documents on the internet shopping mall and data on promotion method which are offered by the hosting companies of the internet shopping mall like 'Cafe 24', 'Make shop', 'Whoismall' and the promotion consulting companies like 'Whoisad', 'Naver keyword shop'. And also analyze the data that interviewed the administrator of internet shopping mall and directly observed the famous internet shopping mall sites. Generally speaking, the promotion mix, marketing communication program can classify 'advertisement', 'publicity', 'personal selling', and 'sales promotion'. This study analyze the research materials on the basis of advertisement, publicity, personal selling, and sales promotion. The result are as follows. 1. The promotion methods at the stage of information the shopping mall site to the consumer are advertisement, and publicity. ${\bigcirc}$ The methods of advertisement are 'searching engine registration', 'advertisement of key word', 'advertisement of overture', 'advertisement of banner', 'advertisement cooperation marketing', 'advertisement of e-mail'. ${\bigcirc}$ The methods of publicity are using 'cafe', 'blog', 'Naver information site', 'community bulletin board', 'the fashion magazine or a press report' and 'cosponsorship'. 2. The main promotion methods at the stage of inducing the purchase are 'personal selling', and various 'sales promotion'. ${\bigcirc}$ 'Personal selling' at the shopping mall have an effect on the communication at bulletin board over the internet and the telephone. ${\bigcirc}$ 'Sales promotion' are attempted by 'VMD', 'deposit system', 'sale', etc.

악성코드 인젝션 사이트 탐지를 통한 방어효율 향상방안 (Enhanced Method for Preventing Malware by Detecting of Injection Site)

  • 최근 모바일 인터넷 이용률이 급증하면서 인터넷 이용자의 웹 브라우저를 통한 사회 공학적 또는 드라이브 바이 다운로드 방식으로 악성코드 유포 공격이 확산되고 있다. 현재 드라이브 바이 다운로드 공격 방어 초점은 최종 다운로드 사이트 및 유포 경로에 초점을 두어 진행되어 왔으나 공격 초기 악성코드를 주입하는 인젝션 사이트에 대한 특성 탐지 및 차단에 대해서는 충분히 연구되지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 악성 코드 다운로드 공격에 대한 방어메커니즘 향상을 목적으로, 악성코드 다운로드의 핵심 근원지인 인젝션 사이트를 탐지하는 방안에 대해서 연구한다. 결과적으로 악성코드의 확산을 방지하기 위해 다운로드 공격의 최종 사이트를 탐지 및 차단하는 현재의 URL 블랙리스트 기법에 추가하여, 악성코드를 주입하는 인젝션 사이트를 탐지 특징을 추출 하는 방안을 제시한다. 또한 URL 블랙리스트 기반의 접근법과 비교하여 악성코드 감염률을 효율적으로 최소화 할 수 있는 방안임을 보인다.
