The present study examined whether Kang's (1999) model of the relationships among language learning strategy use and language proficiency for the Asian students could be applied to a more heterogeneous group. In Kang's study, he collected information of language learning strategies of 957 foreign students learning English as a second language in American colleges through a questionnaire. He also measured the subjects' language proficiency with the Institutional Testing Program TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). This study analyzed the same data without the limitation of cultural identity. Structural equation modeling was used to model the relationships among strategy use and language proficiency. Then, the model of the present study was descriptively compared with Kang's (1999) model for the Asian students. The overall flow of the relationship paths appeared to vary very little across the two models, which would have indicated that the generalizability of Kang's (1999) model could be extended more than originally examined. As the continent's Neo-Confucianism has emerged as an issue recently, Kang You-wei has become a hot topic in Chinese thought circles. His view that the goal of Confucianism is ultimately to reformbased on the "ChunQiu Gongyang" has been drawing new attention in the 2000s with the emergence of Political Confucianism. This paper reviews Kang You-wei's study of Chun Qiu Gongyang, which could be called the ideological origin of continental Confucianism, and also analyze the development process and problems of political Confucianism. In order to understand the current discussion of Confucian constitutionalism, an understanding of Kang You-wei should be preceded. Because most of the problems raised in continental political Confucianism, began with the idea of Kang, and they insist on returning to Kang You-wei as well.

Basal cell nevus syndrome is a rare inherited disorder characterized by mulitple cutaneous basal cell carcinoma, pits of the palms and soles, cysts of the jaws, skeletal abnormalities and ectopic calcifications. Currently there are new lines of investigation based on biomolecular studies, which aim at identifying the molecules responsible for these cysts and thus early allowing an early diagnosis of these patients. We report a case of a 9-year-old boy with the various manifestation of basal cell nevus syndrome, which are multiple odontogenic keratocysts, pits of the soles, bifid ribs, ectopic calcification, macrocephaly, and hypertelorism, etc. Total five odontogenic keratocysts were found. For the reduction of the size of the odon-togenic keratocysts, following preoperative marsupialization, there were surgically enucleated. And the impacted upper right lateral incisor and canine are tracted orthodontically.

To achieve better understanding of the effects of monosodium-L-glutamate(MSG) against $CCl_4$ fatty liver in Wister male rats, 5% MSG solution was given as drinking water and $CCl_4$ 0.1 ml/kg was injected subcutaneously twice a week for four weeks. It was showed that increased hepatic phospholipid and hepatic triacylglycerol levels by $CCl_4$ challenge were significantly decreased by additionnal MSG, respectively. However, MSG had no apparent effect on the elevated hepatic cholesterol level in the presence of $CCl_4$. Histologically, additional MSG markedly inhibited fatty degeneration, spotty necrosis, inflammation and periportal vascular proliferation manifested by $CCl_4$. respectively. These results indicated that effects of MSG against $CCl_4$ induced-fatty liver appeared to be involved with partial restoration of altered hepatic lipid composition.

본 논문에서는 현재 다수의 게임 회사가 추구하는 수익 모델의 문제점을 조사하고 이로 인해 발생하는 부정적인 요인이 게임에 어떤 영향을 끼치는가를 분석하여 새로운 게임을 기획하거나, 운영할 때 과금정책에서 고려해야 할 점을 제시한다. 이러한 조사 및 분석은 앞으로 게임 운영자 및 게임 산업에 많은 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Median filter techniques were applied to the chest radiographs for the digital image processing. Histogram distributions were transformed to convert the gray level for detections of the small gray deviations of the image boundaries.
