A significant rise in product-liability cost is expected due to the newly passed product liability amendment Bill approved during the assembly plenary session on March 30, 2017. Korean government legal service(KGLS) filed a damage suit against Korea aerospace industries, Ltd.(KAI) and Hanwha Techwin Co., Ltd., the manufactures of the KUH-1 Surion helicopter crashed. KGLS alleged claims under the product liability Act, the warrant liability Act and the non-performance of contract act. The accountability limits of military aircraft manufacturers was a highly divisive issue among related scholars and legal practitioners. The bottom line was that military aircraft manufacturers had no product-liability insurance available. The United States courts have, therefore, developed the government contractor defense(GCD) and it was recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court in Boyle v. United Technologies corporation(1988). product liability insurances for military aircraft manufacturers are excessively expensive and it cannot be added onto the military procurement cost accounting. However, having an aircraft accident without one can be ruinously expensive. Therefore, the manufacturers should promptly set up appropriate risk management measures. This thesis will first review the advance GCD theory, and then find a way to either reform government contract related regulations.

To control blood glucose level as close to normal is a major goal of treatment of diabetes mellitus. Hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia are the major risk factors for cardiovascular complications, the major cause of immature death among the patients with type 2 diabetes. The purpose of this study is to determine the hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects of Salicornia herbacea in animal model of type 2 diabetes and to investigate the possible mechanisms for the beneficial effects of S. herbacea. S. herbacea was extracted with 70% ethanol and desalted with 100% ethanol. Three week-old db/db mice (C57BL/KsJ, n=16) were fed AIN-93G semipurified diet or diet containing 1% desalted ethanol extract of S. herbacea for 6 weeks after 1 week of adaptation. Fasting plasma glucose, triglyceride, and total cholesterol were measured by enzymatic methods and blood glycated hemoglobin ($HbA_{1C}$) by the chromatographic method. Body weight and food intake of S. herbacea group were not significantly different from those of the control group. Fasting plasma glucose and blood glycated hemoglobin levels tended to be lowered by S. herbacea treatment. Consumption of S. herbacea extract significantly decreased plasma triglyceride and cholesterol levels (p<0.05). The inhibition of S. herbacea extract against yeast ${\alpha}$-glucosidase was 31.9% of that of acarbose at the concentration of 0.5 mg/mL in vitro. The inhibitory activity of ethanol extract of S. herbacea against porcine pancreatic lipase was 59.0% of that of orlistat at the concentration of 0.25 mg/mL in vitro. Thus, these results suggest that S. herbacea could be effective in controlling hyperlipidemia by inhibition of pancreatic lipase in animal model of type 2 diabetes.

Torque control method and turn of nut method are specified as clamping method of high strength bolts in the steel construction specifications. Quality control of torque coefficient is essential activity because torque control method, which is presently adopted as clamping method in domestic construction sites, is affected by variation of torque coefficient. The clamping of torque shear bolt is based on KS B 2819. It was misunderstood that the tension force of the TS bolt was induced generally at the break of pin-tail specified. However, the clamping forces on slip critical connections do not often meet the intended tension, as it considerably varies due to torque coefficient dependent on the environmental factors and temperature variables despite the break of the pin tail.This study was focused to evaluate the effect of environmental factors and errors of installing bolts during tightening high strength bolts. The environmental parameters were composed of 'wet' condition, 'rust' condition, 'only exposure to air' condition. And the manufacture of trial product was planned to identify the induced force into the bolts. The algorithm for a trial product was composed of the relation between electricity energy taken from torque shear wrench and tension force from hydraulic tension meter.

To clone genes related UK-58,852 production, genomic DNA of strain Actinodura roseorufa was used for the construction of genomic library using pOJ446 cosmid vector. The genomic library was screened rising dehydratase PCR product and eryA gene as a DNA hybridization probe. pHD54 was isolated, which contained an approximately 35kb of inserted DNA. BamHI, SmaI and sonicater fragments hybridized to eryA probe. All of pHD54 BgmHI, SmaI and sonicater fragments were subcloned into pGEM7 and some fragments which hybridized to eryA probe were sequenced. The nucleotide sequence was analysed using BLAST program. The sequence identities were observed in KS,AT, KR, ER and PKS loading domains. Also oxidoreductase showed similarity to rifamycin module10, and dTDP-D-glucose 4,6 dehydratase and TDP-D-glucose synthase involved in biosynthesis of sugar showed similarity to Streptomyces argillaceus.

Age-related changes in bone metabolism are well established by biochemical markers of bone matrix in serum and urine, but analysis of the residual bone matrix, which is still turning over, has not been investigated. In the present study, we measured in vivo rates of bone protein synthesis using a precursor-product method based on the exchange of ²H from ²H₂O into amino acids. Four percent ²H₂O was administered to mice in drinking water after intraperitonial (i.p) bolus injection of 99.9% ²H₂O. Mice were divided into the two groups: growing young mice were administered 4% ²H₂O for 12 weeks after an i.p bolus injection at 5 week of age, whereas weight stable adult mice started drinking 4% ²H₂O 8 weeks later than the growing group and continued 4% ²H₂O drinking for 8 weeks. Mass isotopomer abundance in alanine from bone protein was analyzed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. Body ²H₂O enrichments were in the range of 1.88-2.41% over the labeling period. The fractional synthesis rates (ks) of bone protein were 2.000±0.071%/d for growing mice and 0.243±0.014%/d for adult mice. These results demonstrate that the bone protein synthesis rate decreases with age and present direct evidence of age-related changes in bone protein synthesis.

This study reviews the internationally existing standards for fly ash and the other pozzolanic materials. The standards reviewed for this report covers the thirteen contries around the world including USA. It is found that the comparison of standards appeared to be different for technical test requirements from the country to country. This may be due to the different composition of fly ash produced in each different country as by-product. It is importantly shown that the four countries, including USA have standardized to compose the total 70% of $SiO_2+Al_2O_3+Fe_2O_3$. The other countries have required to have the individual chemical composition, such as 45% $SiO_2$ in Japan. The loss on ignition is generally in the range of 5-6%, but the maximum 12% was allowed in some countries. This depends on the quality of fly ash. The moisture content is generally less than 3% in all countries except India allows up to 12% The pozzolanic activity (as the compression) has been standardized that the 28 days curing in compression was subjected in all countries but 91 days curing in compression was tested in Japan. It is shown that KS L 5405 is almost identical to JIS A 6201.

The environmental pollution problem the globally related to global warming arises. In the construction industry the cement mostly use material, generates the great quantity of CO₂ among the fired process and the global warming is more aggravated. In addition, the polysilicon that is the main raw material used in the solar power generation, produces 1 ton and the industrial by-product of 2 tons is generated. In this way, the arising sludge there is not method recycling and it is all discarded. Therefore, in this research, try to present as the fundamental research material for using the polysilicon sludge as the admixture of the cement in order to reduce the amount of the cement. The based on 'KS L ISO 679' was progressed mortar test. the liquidity, air flow rate, setting time, water absorption ratio, flexural and compression strength was measured. According to, appropriate replacement ratio of the polysilicon sludge tries to analyze.

The pharmacological activities of the acetonitrile (MeCN), hexane extracts and isolated pure terpenoidal compound Lupeol from the leaves of Teclea nobilis, Delile (TN), on inflammation induced by carrageenan an implantation of cotton pellets in rats; the nociceptive response using writhing and tail flick tests and the antipyretic activity in yeast-induced fever were examined in mice. Oral administration of TN extracts at doses of 150 and 300 mg/ks and lupeol 5 and 10 mg/kg showed a significant anti-inflammatory activity in rats. The extracts of TN and lupeol significantly decreased the number of contractions and stretchings induced by acetic acid and heat-induced pain in mice. The antipyretic effect of extracts and lupeol was also found to be significant. The behavioral observation of animals showed that the hexane extract and lupeol caused CNS depressant activity and did not produce any toxic or lethal effects in animals at various dose levels. The results suggest that the Teclea nobilis extracts and lupeol possesses anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic activities.

This research aims to present the corresponding dimensions of China men's clothes on the basis of size specification of Korea men's suits. The results of this study, with the cooperation of Sejung Company exporting men's clothes to Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province in China, are as follows: 1. Based on the drop standard of KS K 0050, the body types of Chinese men in their 20s were classified. A body types were 55.77%, Y body types were 32.16%, B body types were 11.55% and BB body types were 1.51%. 2. According to the criteria of ready-made dimensions of normal body type suggested in Korea Standards, and in consideration of the basic distribution reality of body dimensions, representative 5 sizes were selected. 3. Research jackets by different sizes were produced and went through wearing tests. The means of 1st wearing test were 3.86, 4.09, 4.09, 3.57, and 3.69. The mean of 2nd wearing test of 88-73-170 size was 4.32. 4. The corresponding size specification of China men's clothes based on those of Korea men's suits were presented here, showing product sizes and physical items in detail.
