A Study on the KS standardization of functional corrugated fibreboard (기능성 골판지 포장재 KS규격표준화연구)

  • In order to keep a characteristic corrugated fibreboard of fruits and flowers, temperature and humidity change of corrugated fibreboard are analyzed. According to relative humidity rises at fixed temperature, bursting strength of corrugated fibreboard was fallen and double wall corrugated fibreboard appeared greatly the bursting strength decline rate than double faced corrugated fibreboard and edgewise compressive strength of paper more than humidity 80% in rapidly fall. A column crush test of paper became decrease in the high temperature and ordinary temperature strength did over humidity 70% rapidly fallen and strength decrease happened by low temperature 80% slowly fallen and later rapidly. According to ISO standard temperature humidity conditioning (23$\pm$2 , 50$\pm$2%) change, pulp composition difference as to the ring crush strength of a physical strength and generally compare to KS standard increased 5∼8% for the compressive strength, and wet strength reagent was increased 4% inside and out.

  • 지구 온난화, 천연 자원의 고갈, 처분 장소의 핍박 등 환경문제가 사회적인 문제로 대두되고 있다. 특히 건설분야에서 천연산 골재의 부족은 매우 심각한 상황에 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위해 재생골재의 재활용 등 많은 연구가 이루어져 1999년도에는 아스팔트 콘크리트용 재생골재(KS F 2572), 콘크리트용 재생골재(KS F 2573), 도로기층용 재생골재(KS F 2574)에 대한 규격을 제정함으로써 실용화의 단계에까지 이르고 있다 그러나 제철소의 제강 및 정련 공정상에서 발생하는 철강슬래그를 콘크리트용 골재로서 활용하기 위한 국내의 연구는 몇몇 연구자들에 의해서만 이루어지고 있어 초기 단계에 있다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본고에서는 콘크리트용 천연산 골재의 대체 재료로서 각종 철강슬래그의 적극적인 재활용을 도모하기 위해 최근 슬래그를 골재로서 사용하기 위해서 연구한 결과 및 실례를 수록한 문헌을 조사 검토하여 슬래그 골재의 특성에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

  • The revision was proposed for methods A-weighted sound pressure measurement for fans, blowers and compressors in order to apply newly developed measurement techniques to KS B 6361 established in 1987. This proposal includes modification of terminologies, revision of sound power methods for radiated sound from the body, inclusion of In-duct measurement method, and correction method for flow noise upon microphon.

  • KS-code(KS B 0896) for nondestructive ultrasonic testing judge the quality level by ratio of flaw size to plate thickness only. But stress distributions using finite element analysis show that location of the flaws are more important than the flaw size. So, KS-code should take into account of flaw location for judging the quality level of welded steel structures.

  • In order to analyze the difference of lenses production, we measured the refractive power and the thickness of their optical centers using ophthalmic lenses which were distributed at home country and abroad. The home products were manufactured to be next to foreign goods, but there were several cases to exceed acceptable limits and we need to reduce the deviation from measuring values in the same lenses. To get a beat on advanced countries, rearing technical expert, hard quality test and process control and standardization of lenses are essential to home lens industrials.

  • Purpose: To evaluate and analyze the quality of Korean prescription lenses according to international standards. Methods: We measured the refractive power, the thickness at optical center and the transmittance, and then made a comparative analysis them with foreign brand products according to international standards. Results: Most of Korean products had good qualities on the refractive power and transmittance, even if there was out of tolerance in a case of korean products. Conclusions: To ensure a higher preference of Korean products in the home and abroad marketplace, a high-powered quality control and marketing strategy are necessary to domestic lens manufacturers.
