In this research, first, the effect of Six Sigma activities and business performance will be checked based on case studies involving companies adopting Six Sigma and, secondly, the Six Sigma training effectiveness, Customer Satisfaction and Financial Performance, etc, will be evaluated to find out how related to Six Sigma Implementation. Finally, Six Sigma's Implementation Categories will be analyzed. The method used in this research was to select the research model and research hypothesis based on theoretical studies and the interesting aspects of the recent Six Sigma, along with case studies and research based on actual proof. Case studies and research based on actual proof showed that among 11 companies analyzed, a total of 11 companies obtained good results, and KIs were found to be factors of their success.

토양으로부터 분리한 Streptomyces 속 세균 KIS 13은 thiol 계통 단백질분해효소 활성을 특이적으로 저해하는 저분저량 저해물질을 생성하였다. 저해물질 생성은 세균체성장에 연관된 생성양상이 나타내었다. 배양액으로부토 butanol 추출, silicagel 60 column chromatography, Sephadex LH-2 gel-filtration chromatography, preparative HPLC 등의 과정을 통하여 단백질 분해효소 저해물질을 순수분리하였다. 이 저해물질은 Hammersten casein을 기질로 사용할때, papain에 대하여 non-competitive한 저해양상을 나타내었다.

본 연구는 비정상성과 관련된 기존의 연구들이 베타위험과 추가설명변수들 사이의 상관관계를 무시한 검증방법의 오류를 지적한다. 그 상관관계를 고려한 포트폴리오 구성방법을 선택한 후, 비정상성에 관한 좀 더 정밀한 검증을 실시하여 규모효과와 EP효과를 검토한다. 더 나아가 CAPM의 두 가지 주장, 즉, 베타위험의 유일성과 이 위험과 그 자산의 수익률간의 양의 상관관계를 갖는다는 두 가지 주장을 세밀히 검토하게 된다. 또한 이 모든 검증에서 등가중지수(Equal-Weighted Index: EWI)와 가치가중지수(Value-Weighted Index: VWI)의 적용에 대한 차이도 동시에 검토하였다. 1980년 1월부터 1993년 6월까지의 월별수익률과 한국신용평가주식회사의 주식수익률 데이터베이스(KIS-SMAT), 재무제표 데이터베이스(KIS-FAS)를 이용하여 검증한 결과, 한국중권시장에서는 규모효과만 존재하였고, EP효과가 존재한다는 증거는 얻지 못하였다. 또한 EWI와 VWI의 지수에 대한 차이는 아주 미미하였다. 특히 CAPM에서 주장하는 베타위험의 유일성과 베타위험과 그 자산의 수익률의 양의 상관관계에 대한 두 가지 사실에 대해서는 오히려 상반된 증거만을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study to find out key ingredients(KIs) of Six Sigma. Potential ingredients are selected from previous studies of success factors and ingredients of Six Sigma and TQM, and criteria of quality awards like MBNQA, EFQM, Deming and Korean National Quality Award(KNQA) are classified into 11 categories based on experts' opinion and affinity analysis. Irrelevant or ineffective potential ingredients are discarded by using factor analysis for the questionnaires answered by champions, MBBs and BBs of 90 Korean companies that have more than 3 years of experience in implementing Six Sigma. In addition, from the factor analysis, 3 factors are derived for each respectively except the managerial achievement category. Those 11 categories and 30 factors are defined as Six Sigma KIs.

Rutaecarpine is an alkaloid originally isolated from the unripe fruit of Evodia rutaecarpa. In addition to its traditional use in treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, rutaecarpine has recently been characterized to have anti-inflammatory activity through cyclooxygenase-2 inhibition. More recently, to develop rutaecarpine as an anti-inflammatory agent, total synthesis of rutaecarpine has successfully been established in our group. (omitted)

The technological innovation has been recognized critical factors of productivity of firms and key contribution of improvement of firm performance for a long time. Many researchers have investigated the relationship between R&D investment or patents as a proxy of innovation and productivity. But there were some problem such as lacking of data and ambiguity of innovation definition. So, previous literatures have some difficulty in reliability of analysis for using only survey data. And investigating the relationship R&D and other factors is very difficult. Therefore, this paper tries to investigate and analysis the relationship between innovation and performance of Korean manufacturing firms. Using KIS2002(Korean Innovation survey 2002) which was based on Oslo manual in 2002 and financial data of firms (KISINFO), I will intend to establish the reliability of multiple analysis. In detail, I will investigate whether the innovation input have effect on the innovation output, whether the innovation output have effect on productivity for heterogeneity and what factor of innovation environment have effect on the innovation itself.

a본 논문에서는 과학기술정책연구원에서 조사한 2016년 한국기술혁신조사(KIS 2016) 데이터를 이용하여 한국 제조기업의 혁신성과에 영향을 미치는 혁신저해요인에 관한 분석을 진행하였다. KIS 2016 데이터의 제조업 기업 수는 4000개였는데 이 중 혁신 설문에서 제시한 혁신 저해요인 중 아무것도 겪지 않았다고 답한 기업과 응답이 누락된 기업을 제외한 3159개 기업의 데이터를 활용하여 분석을 진행하였으며, 분석 방법으로는 로지스틱 회귀모형을 사용하였다. 자료를 바탕으로 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 그에 따라 혁신 저해요인으로 자금 문제, 기업 역량 요인, 필요 요인 총 세 가지 요인이 추출되었다. 이를 바탕으로 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과 자금 문제와 기업 역량 요인의 경우 혁신 제품의 시장 출시에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 필요 요인의 경우 음(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 기업의 혁신 성공에 있어서는 기술혁신의 필요성에 대한 인식 제고가 시급한 것으로 분석되었다.

This paper analyzes the determinants of firm's innovative activity, using Korean Innovation Survey (KIS) dataset. Especially, we focused on the role of external networks by partners(other firms or research institutions) in performing innovative activities. The product innovation, product improvement, and process innovation are used as proxies for innovative activity. The explanatory variables such as market concentration ratio, lagged profitability, foreign ownership, export ratio, firm's age, formal R&D activity, and industrial R&D intensity are also considered. With data from 1,124 firms for the two years (2000-2001), we estimated the logistic regression model. The finding is that the determinants of firm's innovative activities differ by type of innovations. We also found that the innovative behavior of SMEs differs from that of large firms. The result confirms that external networks have a strong positive effect on innovative activity. However, the network effects by partners vary across both firm size and type of innovations.
