ON THE CLASS OF COMPLEX DOUGLAS-KROPINA SPACES

  • In this paper, considering the class of complex Kropina metrics we obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions that these are generalized Berwald and complex Douglas metrics, respectively. Special attention is devoted to a class of complex Douglas-Kropina spaces, in complex dimension 2. Also, some examples of complex Douglas-Kropina metrics are pointed out. Finally, the complex Douglas-Kropina metrics are characterized through the theory of projectively related complex Finsler metrics.

  • 여러가지 전분에서 AL-complex의 형성에 lysolecithin의 첨가가 미치는 영향과 cyclodextrin의 첨가에 의한 CL-complex 형성효과를 AL-complex 형성과의 관계로 DSC를 이용하여 비교하였다. 옥수수, 밀, 쌀 전분은 모두 $100^{\circ}C$ 전후의 높은 온도에서 endothermic peak을 나타냈으며 2차 가열에서도 그대로 존재하여 AL-complex의 용융은 가역반응이고 3가지 전분에 상당량의 AL-complex가 존재함을 보여주었다. Lysolecithin의 첨가에 의해 AL-complex의 용융엔탈피는 증가하고 용융온도도 증가하는 경향을 보여 lysolecithin에 의한 AL-complex 형성효과가 뚜렷하였다. 형성된 AL-complex에 ${\beta}-CD$을 첨가하면 AL-complex의 peak가 감소하는 반면 $70^{\circ}C$ 근처에서 새로운 peak가 나타났으며 ${\beta}-CD$의 농도를 증가하였을 때 AL-complex의 peak가 비례하여 감소하였다. 이는 $lysolecithin-{\beta}-CD$ complex가 형성되어 lysolecithin이 ${\beta}-CD$으로 전이되었으며 동시에 amylose가 complex로부터 유리되었음을 시사하고 있다. 이를 증명하기 위하여 ${\beta}-CD$의 존재하에 AL-complex를 가열한 후 amylase를 착용시킨 결과 가수분해속도가 현저히 증가하여 AL-complex로부터 amylose가 유리됨을 알 수 있었다.

Isolation and Characterization of Mucinase Complex Secreted from Vibrio parahaemolyticus

  • Mucinase complex from V. parahaemolyticus ATCC 17802 was purified 6-fold with 0.4% yield by two sequential steps of Q-Sepharose and Superdex 200HR column chromatographies. Partially purified mucinase complex showed at least 8 times higher mucin-degrading activity than the culture filtrates. The mucinase complex also showed gelatin-and-casein-hydrolyzing activities, which demonstrates that the protein is a complex compound containing several proteases. The optimum pH and temperature of partially purified mucinase complex for mucin degradation was 8.0 and $35^{\circ}C$, respectively. The partially purified mucinase complex showed high cytotoxic activity on vero cells when examined by MTT assay and microscopic observations. Cytotoxicity was significantly increased in proportion to the concentration of the mucinase complex. Mouse experiments revealed that the jejunum, ileum. and large intestinal tissues were damaged by the injection of the mucinase complex. In particular, the reduction of the goblet cells in the large intestine was remarkable. Collectively, these data suggest that the mucinase complex partially purified from V. parahaemolyticus ATCC 17802 contributes to the adhesion and invasion of V. parahaemolyticus into the host intestinal tract.

  • Uncertainty appears not only in real quantities but also in complex quantities. Complex uncertain process is essentially a sequence of complex uncertain variables indexed by time. In order to describe complex uncertain process, a formal definition of complex uncertain distribution is given in this paper, as well as the concepts of independence and variance. In addition, some properties of complex uncertain integral are presented.

  • We study fibred Riemannian spaces with almost complex structures which are induced by the almost complex structure or the almost contact structure on the base and fibre. We show that if the total space is a complex space form, then the total space is locally Euclidean. Moreover, we deal with the fibred Riemannian space with various Kaehlerian structures.

  • 피부 각질층내의 아미노산 조성비율과 유사한 조성비로 amino acid complex을 제조하고, 제조된 amino acid complex가 피부에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 세포 생존율, TIMP-1 발현 증가율, 보습 및 각질량 변화를 측정하였다. 연구 결과 amino acid complex는 독성이 없는 안전한 물질로 우수한 보습력 및 보습유지효과와 ascorbic acid와 유사한 TIMP-1 발현량 증가로 주름 예방 및 개선에 효과를 가지고 있으며, 각질량 감소 및 감소유지효과로 자극이 있는 AHA 대체 물질로의 가능성을 보였다. 따라서, amino acid complex는 다기능을 가진 노화방지 화장료 기능성분으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.
