Landsat 8의 11개 band 중 band2(Blue), band3(Green), band4(Red), band5(Near Infrared)를 사용하여 실제로 측정된 지점자료와 인공위성자료간의 상관관계를 규명하였다.

This study is on how ohmic area etching affects the buffer breakdown voltage of AlGaN/GaN HEMT. The surface morphology of the ohmic metal can be improved by whole etching on the ohmic area. The buffer breakdown voltages of the samples with whole etching on the ohmic area were improved by the suppression of the metal spikes formed under the ohmic contact regions during high-temperature annealing. The samples with selective etching on the ohmic area were investigated for comparison. In addition, the buffer leakage currents were measured on the different radii of the wafer, and the uniformity of the buffer leakage currents on the wafer were investigated by PL mapping measurement.

A silver indium sulfide $(AgInS_{2})$ epilayer was grown by the hot wall epitaxy method, which has not been reported in the literature. The grown $AgInS_{2}$ epilayer has found to be a chalcopyrite structure and evaluated to be high quality crystal. From the photocurrent measurement in the temperature range from 30 K to 300 K, the two peaks of A and B were only observed, whereas the three peaks of A, B, and C were seen in the PC spectrum of 10 K. These peaks are ascribed to the band-ta-band transition. The valence band splitting of $AgInS_{2}$ was investigated by means of the photocurrent measurement. The crystal field splitting, $\Delta_{cr}$, and the spin orbit splitting, $\Delta_{so.}$ have been obtained to be 0.150 eV and 0.009 eV at 10 K, respectively. And, the energy band gap at room temperature has been determined to be 1.868 eV. Also, the temperature dependence of the energy band gap, $E_{g}(T)$, was determined.

We have observed the red and blue luminescence from porous silicon (PS) without any rapid thermal oxidation. Aged porous silicon specimens prepared in dilute HF concentration, especially for the short duration of etching, display the increase of the blue band. The measured luminescence decay time at room temperature exhibits a decay time of about 100 ps and shows appreciably faster decay time than that of 20 K. No photoluminescence (PL) peak maximum shift is observed for the blue PL band at 77 K. However, the red PL band shows the blue shift and displays yellow luminescence at 77 K. The origin of red luminescence has some properties related to Si crystallites, whereas blue luminescence seems to be associated other than Si crystallites.
The study was intended to know any relations between the rice tolerance to bensulfuron and varietal speciation in seed protein composition or any enzymatical allelies with or without chemical treatment. Rice varieties used were UCP-28, Chinsurah Boro II, Fukunohama, Fadehpur-2, IR 14252-13-2-2-5 as the tolerant group, and HP 93(3) FA, HP94(9) FA, Padilabou Alumbis, KH-17854, and IR 1846-2841-1 as the susceptible, respectively. Electrophoretic methods used were SDS-PAGE for seed protein, 7% PAGE for isozymes (acid phosphatase, peroxidase, malate dehydrogenase, and esterase from rice seedling) and variation in isoenzyme profiles (malate dehydrogenase, peroxidase, and esterase) as affected by different concentrations of bensulfuron(0, $10^{-6}$, $10^{-5}$ and $3{\times}10^{-5}M$) was also studied. The results are summarized as follows. -Among 16 bands separated in seed proteins, two different rice groups selected in terms of tolerance to bensulfuron were clustered in dissimilarity, which was based on relatively larger area in whole peaks and higher activities in N, O, P bands for the tolerant group. -Among isozymes obtained from rice seedlings without chemical treatments, the following specificities were obtained. The tolerant varieties had the relatively higher activity in D band out of 4 peroxidase bands. Malate dehydrogenase was separated into 3 bands and only tolerant varieties had A band and higher activities in Band C bands. Esterase was separated into 3-4 bands with higher activities in A and B bands for tolerant varieties. There were one major band accompanied by 2-3 minor bands for acid phosphatase in which only tolerant varieties had the B band. -The effect of Bensulfuron concentration on the isozyme activities showed that the activity of C band in peroxidase was not present in tolerant varieties which was contrary to the increased activities in susceptible varieties. However, D band was gradually disappeared only in susceptible varieties as the concentration of bensulfuron was increased. For malate dehydrogenase in the susceptible varieties, major bands D, E and F kept consistantly higher activities while minor bands A, B and C disappeared sensitively. Among 5 bands of esterase separated, D band was present only in the tolerant varieties while E band only in the susceptible. The activities in A, C, E bands were sharply decreased in the susceptible varieties as the concentration of bensulfuron was increased.

In this paper, a CPW band-pass filter with a rejection band is proposed for UWB(Ultra-Wideband) communication systems. The proposed filter has a band-pass characteristic of wide-band by inserting only a slot in $50{\Omega}$ transmission line. To obtain the band-rejection function at WLAN frequency band($5.15{\sim}5.725GHz$), the designed filter is combined with folded slot resonators on the ground plane of the CPW structure. The fabricated CPW band-pass filter shows a compact size of $15.35{\times}13.60mm$, a wide passband of 2.8 GHz to 9.8 GHz and the narrow stop-band of 5.15 GHz to 5.71 GHz for 3-dB bandwidth. Also, the measured group delay is less than 400 psec throughout the operation frequency band except the rejection band.

This paper describes physical meanings of various influences of cavity (or pillar) shape and filling factor of dielectric material on band structures in two-dimensional photonic crystals. Influences of circular and rectangular cross-sections of cavity (or pillar) arrays on photonic band structures are considered theoretically, and significant aspects of square and triangular lattices are compared. It is shown that both averaged dielectric constant of the photonic crystal and distribution profile of photon energy play important roles in designing optical properties. For the triangular lattice, especially, it is shown that cavity array with a rectangular cross-section breaks the band structure symmetry. So, we discuss this point from the band structure and address optical properties of lattice with a circular cross-section cavity.

This paper presents a CPW-fed antenna with three slots. The proposed antenna can operate at 1.9~2.1 GHz and 2.9~3.3 GHz which are generated by the two rectangular slots, and 4.5~11.6 GHz which is generated by the main patch. The semicircle-slot is used as a band-notched filter to stop at a desired band (5.150~5.825 GHz) limited by IEEE 802.11a or HIPERLAN/2 applications. The currents concentrate around corresponding slots at the desired band. The proposed antenna is very small in size, with overall dimensions of $27{\times}32{\times}1\;mm^3$ etched onto an FR4-printed circuit board (PCB).

In this paper, we show the design of a rotary joint transition for the X-band channel in a rotatable microwave communication system. The transition seems complicated to make a channel between two coaxial cables through a cylindrical waveguide. To make a broad-band performance in the X-band with low insertion loss and return loss given the constraint on the length and radius of this complicated-looking cylindrical structure, Genetic Algorithm optimization is adopted to check the validity of an intensive parametric study in the design. The structure is fabricated and tested to show how valid the design method is as well as good frequency responses.
