Recently attention has been focused on the effects of early intervention, or its lack, on both normal and preterm infants. Particularly numerous studies suggest that premature infants are not necessarily understimulated but instead are subjected to inappropriate stimulation. Developmental support and sensory stimulation have become clinical opportunities in which nursing practice can impact on the neurobehavioral outcome of premature infants. Developmental care has been widely accepted and implemented in neonatal intensive care units across the country. Increasingly, attention and concern in caring for low-birth-weight infants and premature infants has led clinicians in the field to explore the effects of a complex of interventions designed to create and maintain a developmentally supportive environment; to provide age-appropriate sensory input; and to protect the infant from inappropriate, excessive and stressful stimulation. The components of developmental care include modifications of the macro-environment to reduce NICU light and sound levels, care clustering, nonnutritive sucking, and containment strategies, such as flexed positioning or swaddling. Sensory stimulation of the premature infants is presented to standardize the modification of a developmental intervention based on physiologic and behavioral cues. The most appropriate type of stimuli are those that are sensitive to infant cues. Evaluation of infant physiological and behavioral responds to specific intervention stimuli may help to identify more appropriate interventions based on infants' cues. A critical question confronting the clinician is that of determining when the evidence supporting a change in practice is sufficient to justify making that change. There are acknowledged limitations in the current studies. Many of the studies examined had small sample sizes; used nonprobability sampling; and used a phase lag design, which introduces the possibility of threats to internal validity and limits the generalizability of the results. Although many issues regarding the effects of developmental interventions remain unresolved, the available research base documents significant benefits of developmental care for LBW infants in consistent outcomes, without significant adverse effects. Particularly, although the individual studies vary somewhat in the definition of specific outcomes measured, instrumentation used, time and method of data collection, and preparaion of the care providers, in all studies, infants receiving the full protocol of individualized developmentally supportive care had improvements in some aspect of four areas of infant functioning: level of respiratory or oxygen support, the establishment of oral feeding; length of hospital stay, and infant behavioral regulation. In summary, based on the available literature, individualized developmental intervention should be incorporated into standard practice in neonatal intensive care. And this implementation needs to be coupled with ongoing research to evaluate the impact of an individualized developmental care programs on the short- and long-tenn health outcomes of LBW infants.
As society has changed, the demand for improved health care has increased. To keep up with this type of social need, professional nursing care is seeking to efficiently satisfy the care needs of human beings. The goal of clinical nurse is to meet nursing care needs of patients. This study was designed to survey attitudes of nursing profession of clinical nurses. The following specific 5 objectives were investigated and the attitudes of clinical nurses were determined. 1. The social position of nursing as a profession. 2. Factors influencing the development of nursing. 3. The future of nursing. 4. Their work. 5. Job satisfaction. The subjects consisted of 120 nurses who are working at 5 general hospital over 150 beds Ill CHONG NAM. The nurses were surveyed by means of a questionnaire from May 24 to Jun 15, 1992. The tool used for this study was based on earlier work by Lee, Nam Hi(1978) and Kim, Myong Hee(1984). Computer was used for Data Analysis. Frequency and Percentage were used to examine the genera] characteristics of the subjects. ANOV A and t.test were used to test the relation in characteristics of the subjects and attitudes Loward nursing prfession. The finding of this study were as follows; 1. Social position of nursing as a profession; The response with the highest agreement was "The professional nursing organization is less power. ful than the other professional organization" 3.333 points, and the response with the lowest agreement was "Nursing get a big salary" 2.225 points. 2. Factors influencing the development of nursing; the response with the highest agreement was "Hospital environment should be improved" 4.267 points, and the response with the lowest agreement was "Nurses satisfaction with salary"2.175 points. 3. The future of nursing; the response with the highest agreement was "Along the deveiopmem of science technique will be elevated educational state and graduate to needed in nursing" 3.958 points, and showed generally positive response toward the future of nursing. 4. Their work; the response with the highest agreement was "Work loading due to nursing staff insufficient" 4. 308 points, the response with the lowest agreement was "Nurses are unkind to patient" 2.508 points. 5. The subject's view regarding job satisfaction;it showed that "Interpersonal nursing staffs" 3.508 points, showed generally unsatisfactory response toward job satisfaction. 6. The relationship between the subject's attitudes toward professional nursing and general characteristics showed a significant difference statistically in regard to the field of work(P<.05). 7. The relationship between general characteristics and the subject's attitudes toward factors influencing the development of nursing showed a significant difference statistically in regard to the age and the status of position(P<.05). The subject's attitude toward the future of nursing showed a significant difference statistically in regard to the age and the period of nursing career and the field of work(P<.05, P<.005). The subject's attitude toward the job satisfaction showed a significant difference statistically in regard to the age and the period of nursing career and the status of position and the field of work(P<.005).

The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting employment stress among Emergency Department students and reduce stress of employment. A questionnaire survey was administered to 276 students who experienced clinical practice among 4 emergency college students in Jeollabuk-do and Jeollanam-do at 4-year and 3-year colleges from September 10 to 15, 2017. Statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS 18.0 program and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. In the results, there were significantly negative correlations between clinical training stress and major satisfaction (r=-0.192, p=0.001), significantly positive correlations between career stress and clinical training stress (r=0.222, p<0.001), and significantly negative correlations between career stress and major satisfaction (r=-0.245, p<0.001). In the multi-regression analysis, the following was discovered: higher clinical training stress (${\beta}=0.157$, p=0.005), lower major satisfaction (${\beta}=-0.211$, p<0.001), and higher career stress. Junior students (${\beta}=0.237$, p<0.001) and senior students (${\beta}=0.288$, p<0.001) had the highest career stress. Subjects with medium-level financial status had high career stress (${\beta}=0.173$, p=0.012). Therefore, this study suggests that colleges should reduce clinical training stress among emergency medical technology students, and more job support centers should be opened and job management programs developed.

The regulation of the synthesis of alcohol-oxidase(E. C. 1. 1. 3. 13) was investigated in the methanol-utilizing yeasts during growth on different carbon sources. For this experiment, Pichia pastoris CBS 2612 and Pichia pastoris CBM 10 were cultured in mineral salt medium by changing its carbon sources. The production of alcohol-oxidase was varied by the carbon sources. For example, alcohol-oxidase was undetectable in all strains submitted to the test in the medium with glucose, but its production was rapidely increased when the carbon source was changed from glucose to methanol after 48hrs of incubation. Moreover, this enzyme was not synthesized during growth on the primary aliphatic alcohols alone(ethanol, propanol, butanol or pentanol) or on the mixed substrates(0.5% methanol+0.5% primary aliphatic alcohols). When cells were grown on the various carbon sources(glucose, xylose, lactose, glycerol, galactose, saccharose, sorbose, lactic acid or acetic acid), The alcohol-oxidase activity was detected a very little amounts. These carbon sources together with methnol yieled far better synthesis of alcohol-oxidase than in case of carbon sources alone. Especially, the alcohol-oxidase activity of the cells grown on sorbose, lactose or lactic acid together with methanol was far better or similar than that of cells grown on methanol alone. The apparent Km values for the methanol of Pichia pastoris CBS 2612 and Pichia pastoris CBM 10 enzymes were 1.92 and 210 mM, respectively. It is also active towards alcohols of shorter alkyl-chain length than $C_7$, insaturated alcohols(allylalcohol, crotyl-alcohol) and secondary alcohols (iso-amylacohol, iso-butylalcohol). The affinity of alcohol-oxidase for this alcohols decreased with the increasing length of the alkyl-chain.
Facial nerve is subject to injury at any point in the course from the cerebral cortex to the motor end plate in the face, so many etiologic varieties of facial paralysis may be encountered, including trauma, viral infection and the idiopathic. Authors have studied 39 cases of facial paralysis which had experienced of treatment in our department from March, 1996 to March, 1997 at Dong San Medical Center. The results obtained are as follows : 1) The highest age incidence showed 10 cases(24.6%) in 3rd decade 2) Among the total of 39 cases, male were 21 cases(53.8%) and female were 18cases(46.2%). 3) At the involved side, left side were 19 cases(48.7%) and right side were 18 cases(46.2%). 4) The causes of facial paralysis were; idiopathic (Bell's palsy) in 19 cases(48.7%) infectious in 6 cases(15.4%) neoplastic in 6 cases(15.4%) traumatic in 5 cases(12.9%) metabolic in 2 cases(5.1%) congenital in 1 cases(2.6%) 5) In time interval between onset of symptom and treated initial date, 26 cases(66.7%) in below 10 days and 8 cases(20.5%) in 11-20 days 6) Correlation of recovery rate according to the treated duration did not differ significantly 7)Result after treatment were satisfactory
Excavated textiles provide very important research data on the costume culture of the Joseon dynasty. In particular, dyed textiles are indispensable for textile conservation research and for restoration of remains as well as for general costume culture research. Unfortunately, a prolonged burial environment causes the colors to change and gradually fade after excavation. Therefore, it is very difficult to identify the original color. In this study, natural dyed samples of red, yellow, purple and blue were prepared and analyzed using HPLC-PDA. Dyes of colorants extracted from excavated textile remains were analyzed by HPLC. In addition, mordants were analyzed using (SEM-EDX) in order to estimate the original color. The 16~17th Century's three samples were analyzed, sample 1, and 2 from Eunjin Song's Song Mun-Chang excavated at the Songchon-dong in Daejeon, and sample 3 from Yeosan Song's Song, Hee-Jong excavated at the Mokdal-dong in Daejeon. From the HPLC results, alizarin, purpurin, and indigo were detected on sample 1, alizarin and purpurin on sample 2, ellagic acid and indigo on sample 3. Therefore they were dyed with madder and indigo (sample 1), madder (sample2), pomagranted and indigo (sample 3). Al mordant was identified on three samples.

Interaction of dietary Magnesium, Calcium and Polyunsaturated fatty acid(vegetable oils)on 3-Hydroxy-3-Methylglutaryl Co-A reductase activity was studied for a period of 30 days using isocalories and isonitrogenous as a basal diet . The subject rabbits were divided into 18 feeding groups. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The ratio of ${\alpha}_1-lipoprotein$ par lipalbumin is 0.34 for control group, 0.38 the highest group fed 0.1 Mg(II) 10ml plus perilla oil and basal diet, the lowest 0.25 group fed 0.1M Mg(II) 5ml plus sesame oil and basal diet. 2. The ratio ratio of ${\alpha}_2-lipoprotein$ per lipalbumin is 0.64 for control group. 0.95 as the highest for the group fed 0.1M Ca(II) 15ml plus sesame oil and basal diet, 0.1M Ca(II) 5ml plus perilla oil and basal diet. 3. The ratio of ${\beta}-lipoprotein$ per lipalbumin is 0.71 for control group, the highest 0.81 for the groups fed 0.1M Mg(II) 10ml plus sesame oil and basal diet, the lowest 0.37 for the group fed 0.1M Mg(II) 15ml plus soybean oil and basal diet. 4. In serum triglyceride, control group was 129.5mg%, the highest 155.4mg% for the group fed 0.1M Ca(II) 5ml plus sesame oil and basal diet, the lowest 85.7mg% for the group fed 0.1M Mg(II) 10ml plus soybean oil and basal diet. 5. In serum cholesterol, control group was 96.7mg%, the highest 152.5mg% for the group fed 0.1M Ca(II) 10ml plus sesame oil and basal diet, the lowest 80.5mg% for the group fed 0.1M Mg(II) 15ml plus soybean oil and basal diet. 6. In case of HMG-CoA reductase activity, control group was 0.95, the highest 0.98 for the group fed 0.1M Ca(II) plus soybean oil and basal diet. 7. Interaction between metal(II) ions and polyunsaturated fatty acid(vegetable oil) are soybean oil>sesame oil>perilla oil, for Mg(II). soybean oil>perilla oil>sesame oil, for Ca(II). Therefore, it is invetigated that the interaction between metal ion and polyunsaturated fatty acid is the higher, the cholesterol level is the lower, and HMG-CoA reductase activity is increased.

Level of nitrogenous compounds in dried shellfish related to the formation of flavors during processing and storage was investigated. Fresh samples of blue mussel, short-necked calm and pacific oyster showed relatively low levels of ATP, ADP and AMP, but high levels of iMP and inosine. Relatively high content of TMAO in fresh samples was markedly reduced in the samples broiled samples, but TMA content was rather elevated in the samples broiled, which was a lowered result of TMAO content. The degree of reduction of TMAO and enhancement of TMA contents was relatively small in the hot-air dried samples during storage periods. Glycinebetaine content in fresh samples was slightly decreased by boiling and broiling. Contrast to glycinebetaine content, hormaline and trigonelline contents were severely reduced by boiling and broiling. Twenty-nine kinds of amino acids and their derivatives were identified in the sample of blue mussel, short-necked calm. Among them, glycine, alanine, arginine, glutamic acid and lysine were major amino acids, but contents of these amino acids was greatly decreased in the samples after drying and boiling processes.
Nitrifier consortium entrapped in Ca and Ba-alginate beads were packed into two reactors and studied for removing ammonia-nitrogen in aquaculture system. The ammonia-nitrogen concentration of the influent was continually kept about 2 ppm. At the hydraulic residence time of 0.6 hours, ammonia-nitrogen removal amount of two reactors was about 52.6 and 51.0 g $NH_3-N/m^3/day$, respectively. The ability of adjusting to an impulsive leading which was happened according to variations of HRT was better at Ba-alginate reactor, but its discrepancy was not so large. At the respect of removing ammonium-nitrogen, two reactors showed the similar ability of treating recirculating water.

Kinetic properties of typsins purified from dark-fleshed fish (anchovy, mackerel, yellowfin tuna, and albacore) were examined and analyzed on $benzoyl-_{D,L}-arginine-p-nitroanilide\;(BAPNA)$. The values of Km' and $k_{cat}$ of the purified trypsins from the four dark-fleshed fish were found to be $49.3{\mu}M$ and $90.9\;min^{-1}$ for anchovy, $53.7{\mu}M$ and $61.2min-^{-1}$ for mackerel A, $96.5{\mu}M$ and $76.6min^{-1}$ for mackerel B, $62.8{\mu}M$ and $46.6min^{-1}$ for yellowfin tuna, and $98.3{\mu}M$ and $47.7min^{-1}$ for albacore, respectively. The values of $K_i$ on $tosyl-_L-lysine$ chloromethyl ketone (TLCK) were determined to be $20.90{\mu}M$ for anchovy trypsin, $2.86{\mu}M$ for mackerel trypsin A, $3.90{\mu}M$ for mackerel trypsin B, $0.96{\mu}M$ for yellowfin tuna trypsin, and $1.82{\mu}M$ for albacore trypsin. Thus yellowfin tuna trypsin was the most sensitive to TLCK among all trypsins. The activities and catalytic efficiency of the trypsins purified from the temperate zone fish, anchovy and mackerel, were higher than those of the trypsins purified from yellowfin tuna and albacore which migrate widely from the tropic zone to the temperate zone.
