  • In [1], the concept of generalized (${\theta}$, ${\phi}$)-derivations on rings was introduced. In this paper, we introduce the concept of generalized (${\theta}$, ${\phi}$)-derivations on Poisson Banach algebras and of generalizd (${\theta}$, ${\phi}$)-derivations on Jordan Banach algebras, and prove the Cauchy-Rassias stability of generalized (${\theta}$, ${\phi}$)-derivations on Poisson Banach algebras and of generalized (${\theta}$, ${\phi}$)-derivations on Jordan Banach algebras.

  • In this paper we obtain some results concerning Jordan derivations and Jordan left derivations mapping into the Jacobson radical. Our main result is the following : Let d be a Jordan derivation (resp. Jordan left derivation) of a complex Banach algebra A. If d$^2$(x) = 0 for all x $\in$ A, then we have d(A) ⊆ red(A)

  • This paper considers pseudo Jordan homomorphisms on module extensions of Banach algebras and triangular Banach algebras. We characterize pseudo Jordan homomorphisms on module extensions of Banach algebras and triangular Banach algebras. Moreover, we define pseudo derivations on the above stated Banach algebras and characterize this new notion on those algebras.

  • We show that if T is an $\varepsilon$-approximate Jordan functional such that T(a) = 0 implies $T(a^2) = 0 (a \in A)$ then T is continuous and $\Vert T \Vert \leq 1 + \varepsilon$. Also we prove that every $\varepsilon$-near Jordan mapping is an $g(\varepsilon)$-approximate Jordan mapping where $g(\varepsilon) \to 0$ as $\varepsilon \to 0$ and for every $\varepsilon > 0$ there is an integer m such that if T is an $\frac {\varepsilon}{m}$-approximate Jordan mapping on a finite dimensional Banach algebra then T is an $\varepsilon$-near Jordan mapping.

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove that the noncommutative version of the Singer-Wermer Conjecture is affirmative under certain conditions. Let A be a noncommutative Banach algebra. We show that if there exists a continuous linear Jordan derivation D : A ${\rightarrow}$ A such that [D(x), x]$D(x)^3{\in}$ rad(A) for all $x{\in}A$, then D(A) ${\subseteq}$ rad(A).

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove the following result: Let A be a noncom mutative Banach algebra. Suppose that there exist continuous linear Jordan derivations $D:A{\rightarrow}A$, $G:A{\rightarrow}A$ such that [$D^2(x)+G(x)$, $x^n$] lies in the Jacobson radical of A for all $x{\in}A$. Then $D(A){\subset}rad(A)$ and $G(A){\subset}rad(A)$.
