We consider a wafer lot transfer/release planning problem from semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities to probing facilities with the objective of minimizing the deviation of workload and total tardiness of customers' orders. Due to the complexity of the considered problem, we propose a two-level hierarchical production planning method for the lot transfer problem between two parallel facilities to obtain an executable production plan and schedule. In the higher level, the solution for the reduced mathematical model with Lagrangian relaxation method can be regarded as a coarse good lot transfer/release plan with daily time bucket, and discrete-event simulation is performed to obtain detailed lot processing schedules at the machines with a priority-rule-based scheduling method and the lot transfer/release plan is evaluated in the lower level. To evaluate the performance of the suggested planning method, we provide computational tests on the problems obtained from a set of real data and additional test scenarios in which the several levels of variations are added in the customers' demands. Results of computational tests showed that the proposed lot transfer/planning architecture generates executable plans within acceptable computational time in the real factories and the total tardiness of orders can be reduced more effectively by using more sophisticated lot transfer methods, such as considering the due date and ready times of lots associated the same order with the mathematical formulation. The proposed method may be implemented for the problem of job assignment in back-end process such as the assignment of chips to be tested from assembly facilities to final test facilities. Also, the proposed method can be improved by considering the sequence dependent setup in the probing facilities.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the status and views on the dental team composition and works, the experience of a dental manpower shortage and opinions on the solution. The subjects were 313 dentists and dental hygienists. The mobile questionnaires were conducted on the status of dental team composition and works, the experience of a dental manpower shortage and opinions on the solution. There was no big difference between the current dental team composition and ideal composition ratio, and dentists answered that it would be more ideal to reduce dental hygiene and increase nurse assistant when the working dentist was 3~5. 85.6% of the dentists and 56.4% of the dental hygienists had difficulty in employing the dental auxiliary personnel. The difficulty level was 8 out of 10 points among dentists and 5.7 points among dental hygienists. 91.1% of the dentists and 95.5% of the dental hygienists agreed on the necessity of expanding the dental hygienist's work. The dental works were temporary crown making and setting, surgical operation assistance, and overall dental assistance. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to continuously make efforts to communicate with the dental personnel in Korea to solve a lot of problems such as the job assignment, the dental personnel policy and system, and the work environment.
This study aims to investigate the stress factors of students in Dental Hygiene Department who will soon take the national examination, corresponding countermeasures and relationship of internal and external personality. On the basis of the results from investigation, this study will identify the methods to effectively cope with stress and to take the national examination with more positive thinking for the students and faculty members in Dental Hygiene Department, who have to pass the difficult test, the national examination. The structured questionnaires were given to junior students in Dental Hygiene Department in three colleges, to identify the stress factors, methods to deal with stress and A/B personality types. For the stress factor by field, the M college showed significantly higher stress about curriculum and assignment than the C college. In the stress factor analysis by item, the lack of information on national examination in the test area, all items in learning environment, a quantity of assignment that doesn't help the preparation of national examination in the assignment area, and lack of information on employment in job area demonstrated the significant difference(p<0.05). For the methods of subjects to deal with stress, several subcategories of long-term and short-term adaptation had significance. In case of the methods to deal with stress by personality type, B type in the short-term adaptation method in M college and A type in the long-term adaptation method in C college were significantly higher(p<0.05). As for the correlation between the population sociological features and stress factors by personality type, health status had the high correlation with test in the test area. In other areas, the travel hours to school showed the significant correlation. The higher the records were, the longer the travel hours were and the better the health status was, the higher the long-term adaptation method scores were. Moreover, the personality of A type showed the higher scores in the long-term adaptation method than that of B type. The health status and personality type showed the significant correlation(p<0.05). In conclusion, it is required to prevent any situations b identify the personality type and stress reasons of the students in Dental Hygiene Department who will take the national examination soon. The additional requirement is the continuing interest and counseling of faculty members to help students to cope with stress with positive attitude.

The researchers entirely focused on meta-heuristic method for generalized assignment problem(GAP) that is known as NP-hard problem because of the optimal solution within polynomial time algorithm is unknown yet. On the other hand, this paper proposes a heuristic greedy algorithm with rules for finding solutions. Firstly, this paper reduces the weight matrix of original data to wij ≤ bi/l in order to n jobs(items) pack m machines(bins) with l = n/m. The maximum profit of each job was assigned to the machine for the reduced data. Secondly, the allocation was adjusted so that the sum of the weights assigned to each machine did not exceed the machine capacity. Finally, the k-opt swap optimization was performed to maximize the profit. The proposed algorithm is applied to 50 benchmarking data, and the best known solution for about 1/3 data is to solve the problem. The remaining 2/3 data showed comparable results to metaheuristic techniques. Therefore, the proposed algorithm shows the possibility that rules for finding solutions in polynomial time exist for GAP. Experiments demonstrate that it can be a P-problem from an NP-hard.

There are considerable concern on the methods for the efficient utilization of the test-resources as increasing of the number of the tests for functionality and performance verification of weapon systems. Furthermore, with an increase in the complexity of the resource assignment the decision support is required. Test resource allocation is basically the same problems as conventional NP-hard FJSP(Flexible Job Shop Problem), therefore empirical test resource allocation method that has been used in many decades is limited in the time performance. Although research has been conducted applying the genetic algorithm to the FJSP, it is limited in the test resource allocation domain in which more than one machine is necessary for a single operation. In this paper, a variable group genetic algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is expected to improve the test plan efficiency by automating and optimizing the existing manual based allocation. The simulation result shows that the algorithm could be applicable to the test plan.

Purpose: This study was done to use preceptorship in an ordered elective clinical nursing practice and to evaluate the effects on student nurses, nurses managers and preceptors. Method: The participants in this study were 208 students who were majors in the department of nursing, G college located in Inchon Metropolitan City, 54 nurse managers and 187 preceptors from 11 general hospitals. The instrument was a questionnaire which included general characteristics of participants, and 21 items to evaluate the ordered elective clinical nursing practice on a scale of 1 to 4. Data were collected from October 23 to November 7. 2004. Data analysis was done using SPSS WIN with the following statistics: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and ANOVA. Results and Conclusions: The results of data analysis were as follows: There were meaningful differences in the evaluation scores of the ordered elective clinical nursing practice with preceptors between students ($3.33{\pm}.39$) and nurse managers ($3.33{\pm}.28$) and preceptors ($3.23{\pm}.38$). Evaluation scores for the ordered elective clinical nursing practice with preceptors were categorized as follows: necessity and appropriateness, practice control and management, material for practice, practice report assignment and evaluation, practice ability improvement and connection with getting a job, and contribution to the hospitals.
This study began with the expectation that work spirituality according to self - sacrificing leadership of a company recognized by hotel employees could positively affect superior liking and innovation behavior. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; the exercise of authority and the self - sacrifice in reward distribution are very important in the social exchange relationship. And the experience of joy and meaning, which is a behavior that meets the values, showed that it fulfilled the sense of accomplishment that the employees realized as a value, and it increased the satisfaction of pursuing the value of the boss and participating in and contributing to the world. Moreover, the hotel employees were likely to favor the bosses when they gave up or refrained from their authority or delegated to their subordinates, or when their bosses delayed or gave up rewards that had to be distributed to them. Also, self-sacrifice on the supervisor's job assignment is considered as an essential part of inducing the innovative behavior of the subordinates, regarded as desirable behavior or qualities.
Traditional cost system is distorted due to the using unit-based measure. It is being criticized that it do a poor job of attributing the expenses of support resources to the production and sales of individual product. Activity Based Cost System expend the range of second-stage cost assignment drivers beyond the traditional measures of labor and machine times, units produced, and material quantities to allow for drivers that measure the amount of batch-level, product-sustaining, and facility-sustaining activities performed. It is a resources consumption model of organization, not just a more complex cost accounting of cost allocation system. This paper proposes a enterprise resource planning by activity based management. To effective performance system for company that want to be setting competitive levels, the information systems must support a fast moving, rapidly changing. Activity based management is a process of accumulating and tracing cost and performance da to a firm's activities and providing feedback of actual results against the planned cost to initiate corrective action where required. Therefore this system provides a highly powerful decision-making tool. To construct this system, we need Enterprise Resource Planning System. Since ERP is designed around the idea that rapid change and a degree of unhandled change is normal, it allows driving the customer's rapidly needs much deeper through the business cycle.
Objectives: This qualitative research was conducted to clearly find and clinically understand dental hygienists' work experience in order to lay the legal foundation for their work range and safe execution. Methods: From March 1 to April 30, 2019, seven study participants were selected and participated in-depth interviews. Phenomenological research methodology was applied for intensive analysis. Results: They performed jobs that required no professionalism, such as dental assistance, except for scaling. Dental hygienists, nurses' aids, and dental technicians performed the same jobs regardless of difficulty level and legal work range. Dental hygienists failed to accurately recognize their legal work range. Since there was the wide gap between their legal work range and actual work range, it was necessary to expand the work range in line with actual conditions. Conclusions: Given the results, it is necessary to conduct in-depth discussions within the dental circle to make dental hygienists' work execution in line with reality by improving and discussing a legal system for job assignment and expansion of workers. Therefore, it is required to form a plan for the many jobs dental hygienists executed in a clinical setting.
As knowledge has become the most important means of production for a company to survive in a "knowledge-based society", knowledge management has become the key issue in the corporate sector. Despite its growing significance, there are limited numbers of research that describe how companies actually develop, share and practice their knowledge. From this perspective, this study used a qualitative approach to explore on the actual process of knowledge management implementation. In-depth interviews with eleven senior managers, who were working at S global corporation, were conducted. The results show that there are differences between how the participants perceive and how they actually perform in managing knowledge. While the participants tend to conceptualize knowledge management as building a technical system, their performance has shown that knowledge has been developed and shared through active interaction among the members in the company. The factors that impede knowledge management were caused by the individualized job assignment and inapplicable exercises that result in obscuring information flow and utilizing inadequate and low quality of knowledge. The findings of this study imply that knowledge management is not a matter of formality but a paradigm that assures for the flow and share of knowledge.
