Liver cirrhosis is caused by virus, alcohol, toxins, drugs and chronic hepatitis. Clinical symptoms of liver cirrhosis are severe fatigue, nausea, fever, dyspepsia, anorexia, RUQ pain, jaundice, ascites. We applied oriental medicines to patient who had chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis. Sodalgeonbitang-gamibang has been used to treat hepatitis and liver cirrhosis because of its beneficial effects. The patient symptoms began to improve after about one month of treatment. After medication we could find remarkable effect on clinical symptoms and blood test. So we hope that this clinical study is helpful in treat a patient with hepatic disease.

In this case, it is considered that the cause of the lower limb Flaccidity-syndrome is the peripheral neuropathy accompanied with inflammation and in oriental medicine, it is understood that the factors such as lung fluid consumption caused by heat-evil, wetness-heat evil cause the lower limb Flaccidity-syndrome. Because the peripheral neuropathy is regarded as a neuropathy with a series of inflammation reaction producing inflammatory neuropeptides such as substance P, prostaglandin ect., in western medicine, nonsteroidal antiinflammation drug;NASID, lidocaine, capsaicine are prescribed to control this neuropathy. In the view of treatment of the lower limb weakness, Wooseul-tangkami is used to remove the wetness-heat evil and we had a electronic acupuncture on the Yangmyung channel(陽明經) selected in The Yellow Emperor's of internal Medicine and also on Panggwang channel(膀胱經) considered as painful lesion. We experineced a case of the lower limb Flaccidity-syndrome diagnosed as the peripheral neuropathy the patient was treated by wooseul-tangkami, a acupuncture on Yangmyung channel and also Panggwang channel and had a significant improvement in gait ability and the range of motion.

The purpose of this study was to review literature on beef recipes, focusing on 20 recipe books published from the late 1800s to 1990s. A total of 119 beef dry-heat cooking were recorded. The most often used cooking were as follows: roasting 54 times, skewering 35 times, stir-frying18 times, pan-frying11 times and deep frying 1 time. The culinary book that the recipes was Hangukeumsik daegwan (1997). ribs, brisket, rump, bottom sirloin, sirloin and tenderloin were used but all beef cuts were marked as 'beef.' Thus, it impossible to figure out which beef cut was used in the recipe. Chili, green onion, egg, tofu and wheat flour were used together as, while soy sauce, salt, sugar, sesame oil, ground pepper, pear juice, honey, chopped green onion, chopped garlic, ginger juice, ground sesame used as. In addition, pine nuts or ground pine-nuts were often used for garnish.

Recently, the high frequency boost DC-DC converter has been widely used for the PCS system because of its small size and low cost. In this paper, the experimental results of the boost DC/DC converter using LLC series resonant converter are verified on the simulation based on the theoretical analysis and the lkW experimental prototype.

This paper describes the design and analysis of an integrated transformer magnetic core which comprises of two different power cores with PFC inductor and LLC resonant transformer magnetic cores. The equivalent magnetic circuit modeling approach is employed to analyze the variations in coupling coefficient and inductance in terms of air gaps under the operations of the respective power core. Simulation and experimental studies are performed with a fabricated prototype integrated core and their results are discussed.

The proteolytic enzyme extracted from Neungee [Sarcodon aspratus (Berk.) S. Ito] was purified by using Tris-acryl CM-cellulose column chromatography and chromatofocusing. The specific activity of the purified enzyme increased 15.8 times as compared with that of the crude enzyme. The enzyme was homogeneous on polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and stable at pH values ranging from 4.0 to 10.8. The enzyme activity remained unchanged when the mushroom and the purified enzyme were stored for 3 years and 6 months at 4°C, respectively. The enzyme was found to be an endogeneous protease.

The conventional three-level high frequency phase-shifted dc/dc converter has a disadvantage that a circulating current flows through transformer and switching devices during the freewheeling interval. Due In this circulating current and RMS current stress, conduction losses of transformer and switching devices increases. To alleviate these problems, we propose an improved three-level Zero Voltage and Zero Current Switching (ZVZCS) dc/dc converter using a tapped inductor, a snubber capacitor and two snubber diodes attached at the secondary side of transformer The proposed ZVZCS converter is verified on a 7kW, 30kHz experimental prototype.

A capacitor common connected LLC resonant converter with auxiliary switches for a wide output voltage control range is presented in this paper. The proposed converter can be controlled in two ways to achieve a wide output voltage control range of Vo-3Vo. The first control method is performed through pulse width modulation of the auxiliary switches and primary switching devices. The second control method is conducted through frequency modulation of the primary switching devices configured to operate in full-bridge switching modes, when the auxiliary switches are turned off. The feasibility of the proposed converter is verified by the experimental results of a 5 kW prototype.
