  • Various virtual reality methods are examined on the internet. In this paper, 3D implementations on the internet are discussed using Java3D and GL4Java which are based on the Java. 3D shoppingmall, real time 3D renderings, and various objects are implemented using Java3D and GL4Java, respectively. Especially with Java3D, the file formats of VRML97, OBJ, and 3DS are implemented using Java3D loader, which shows that object implementation in Java3D is better than other methods. Also, the comparisons between Java3D and GL4Java are discussed.

  • Java is platform-independent and supports uniform solutions from mobile area (J2ME) to enterprise area (J2EE), so Java is a good development tool for the environment of heterogeneous machines and distributed applications. Java applications need access control module as a Java package. In this paper, we design and implement it. Therefore Java developers can reduce development time, and system managers easily do access control work. Proposed module is based on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) model and includes a Java package and administration tool.

  • The Jini system provides an infrastructure to facilitate a programmer to develop distributed systems. As one of the Jini services, JavaSpare has been used as a repository which is accessible publicly in the Java distributed environment. Although JavaSpace could give a useful method for saving and sharing java object, it would not be applicable to develop a distributed system requiring access securities for the objects because JavaSpare does not support secure access control. In this paper, we present a secure JavaSpare service based on Jini2.0 named SeureJS, which strengthens the security weakness of JavaSpare. The system consists of ObjectStore to store Java objects, AccessManager to control access of ObjectStore and KeyManager to manage public keys.

  • In this paper we propose a suite of metrics $\pi_{java}$ Java/, for evaluating the complexity of Java Programs based on a suite of metrics $\pi_{java}$ c++/, which we previously presented for C++ programs. So far, a lot of metrics for C++ are proposed for C++ programs. But since the specific properties of Java programs are not explicitly considered in those metrics, it is hard to apply them to Java programs. Thus we aim to develop a metric suite that is applicable to Java Programs. At first, we decide if any properties are commonly possessed by both C++ programs and Java programs, or not. For example, the multiple inheritance of the class in C++ is not implemented in Java. On the other hand, the features such as package and interface are newly implemented in Java, and therefore we cannot discuss the complexity of Java programs without considering these new features. Then we define a new suite of metrics $\pi_{java}$ Java/ for Java programs by deleting 3 metrics $\pi_{java}$/c++/, and then incorporating 3 metrics which are newly defined or modified for Java programs to $\pi_{java}$ c++/. Finally, we analytically evaluate the new metric with regard to Weyuker's measurement principles and also compare it with conventional metrics for Java.

  • Java is an interpreted language that can run on a variety of platforms, also Java has a number of useful features for network. Due to theses features of Java language, Java is used in various fields. In this paper, we will talk about how the malware that threaten the Java Security Manager of the Java Virtual Machine is using the vulnerability of the Java Virtual Machine. And for corresponding measures, this paper suggest vulnerability analysis method of Java system class by using Java Call Graph and Java Access Permission Checking Tree. By suggesting that, we want to lay groundwork for preventing Java security threats in advance.

  • Mutation analysis (or software mutation analysis) generates variants of a target program by injecting systematic code changes to the target program, and utilizes the variants to analyze the target program behaviors. Effective mutation analyses require adequate mutation operators that generate diverse variants for use in the analysis. However, the current mutation analysis tools for Java programs have limitations, since they support only limited types of mutation operators and do not support recent language features such as Java8. In this study, we present Mutagen4J, a new mutant generation tool for Java programs. Mutagen4J additionally supports mutation operators recently shown to generate various mutants and fully supports recent Java language features. The experimental results show that Mutagen4J generates useful mutants for analyses 2.3 times more than the existing Java mutation tools used for the study.

  • In this paper, Java Method approach for the integration of Web and Object-Relational DBMS is proposed. For the purpose, we extend to use Java language in programming user-defined function which is one of important characteristic of Object-Relational DBMS with object concept. Therefore we can retrieve not only database objects but also their associated Java methods to run in clients. Finally, to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed Java Method technique, we designed and implemented this Java method system based on three-tier client/server architecture using JDBC(Java Database Connectivity) and Java RMI(Remote Method Invocation).

  • The place where models of Indonesian templed and sculpture remain in best condition is in central Java. Central Java was a center of culture from the 8th century to the 9th century. After the mid-10th century, a dynasty moved from central Java to eastern Java, because of frequent volcanic explosions and illness. Eastern Java became the center of politics and culture until the 16th century, when Islamic culture gained superiority. The classical temples of Indonesia before the rise of Islam are called 'Candi', which we can divide into the western Java period (?~8th century), the central Java period (8th~10th century), the eastern Java period (10th~16th century).

  • The web is one of the most plentiful sources of images. The web has an immediate need for image processing technology in Java. This paper provides a practical introduction to statistical image processing using Java on the web. The paper describes how images are represented in Java and deals with four image processing operations based on basic statistical methods: point processing, spatial filtering, edge detection and image segmentation.

  • 본 연구에서는 OPC(OLE for Process Control)가 마이크로소프트의 COM(Component Object Model)과 DCOM(Distributed COM) 기술을 사용함으로써 윈도우즈 플랫폼에서 클라이언트 어플리케이션이 개발되어 져야 하는 제약을 해결하기 위하여 Java2OPC Gateway를 제안한다.
