1. Objectives Creutzfelt Jacob Disease is one of a group of neurodegenerative disorders causing spongiform encephalopathies due to a infection of prion or unconventional slow virus on central nerve system. The diagnosis of this disease is not easy and there is currently no cure. This article is to report our case about a female patient who was not diagnosed as CJD at the early period so that we treated her with Yangkyuksanhwa-tang(凉膈散火湯) and Jihwangbaekho-tang(地黃白虎湯). 2. Methods Magnetic resonance imaging(brain MRI), blood test and computer tomography were performed. The treatment for this patient was clinically based on Sasang Constitutional Medicine. 3. Results and Conclusions (1) Visual field defect, ataxia, myoclonus, sweating and dysuria were the main symptoms of the patient. (2) The pathological change in parenchyme was not revealed during the early periods by MR imaging. So the diagnosing CJD was not possible during the time in this case. (3) Jihwangbaekho-tang(地黃白虎湯) improved her myoclonus and sweating. Bur her mental disorder and the progress of the pathological change in the parenchyme was not able to be treated.

The growth of legal and illegal gambling industry in Korea has increased the gambling accessibility. Actually, the prevalence of gambling addiction in Korea is significantly higher than those in western countries. The problems related to gambling make negative consequences in the individual, familial and socio-economical aspect. Previous studies showed that the prevalence of problem gambling by college students was much higher than that by adolescence and adult due to the nature of psychosocial developmental stage. The purpose of this study is to explore the path of problem gambling among college students based on the Jacob's general theory of addiction. Participants are 366 male college students who have experienced on gambling behavior. The main results are as follows. First, the problem gambling prevalence of participants is 14%. Second, statistical analysis using structural equation modeling shows the significant pathway among psychological vulnerability, needs to escape and problem gambling. Instead, the physiological vulnerability is not significant on the path to problem gambling. On the basis of these findings, the implications for social welfare prevention and intervention to college students are discussed.

In this paper, we discuss the plethora of uses for the software package R, and focus specifically on its helpful applications in reliability data analyses. Examples are presented; including the R coding protocol, R code, and plots for various statistical as well as reliability analyses. We explore Kaplan-Meier estimates and maximum likelihood estimation for distributions including the Weibull. Finally, we discuss future applications of R, and usages of quantile regression in reliability.

A series of experiments have been carried out to investigate the effects of non-condensable gas on the direct contact film condensation of vapor mixture under an adiabatic wall condition. The average heat transfer coefficient of the direct contact condensation was obtained at the atmospheric pressure with four main parameters ; air-mass fraction, mixture velocity, film Reynolds number, and the degree of water film subcooling having an influence on the condensation heat transfer coefficient. With the analysis of 88 experiments, a correlation of the average Nusselt number for direct contact film condensation of steam/air mixture at an adiabatic vertical wall was proposed as functions of film Reynolds number, mixture Reynolds number, air mass fraction, and Jacob number. The average heat transfer coefficient for steam/air mixture condensation decreased significantly while air mass fraction increased. The average heat transfer coefficients also decreased as the Jacob number increased, and were scarcely affected by the film Reynolds number below a mixture Reynolds number of about 245,000.
