  • The MRP, OPT and JIT systems have the respective limitations to become the suitable production management systems of the future. Therefore it is highly requested to develop an integrated production management system by the hybridization of those production systems. Accordingly, this study has focused its hybrid model using MRP, JIT and OPT. There has been many efforts in comparing and analyzing the usefulness and the limitations of those production systems and applying the usefulness to the maximum which improving and supplementing the weakpoints of respective systems. In this respect, this study develop the hybrid simulation model, and this hybrid model are evaluated and compared with MRP(Push system) and JIT(Pull system) by using a simulation.

  • Recently, TPS is one of the hot issues which enterprises and manufacturing related people were greatly concerned. TPS is very representative of Japanese production system. And TPS have contributed to the advance of industrial engineering. This study highlights the limitation and unsolved problems of presented TPS, through understanding the basic principles and characteristics and application process of TPS. To be continuously developing and competitive system in the future, we suggest New JIT System to complement current TPS system. New JIT is a customer oriented system. For the customer satisfied quality management, renovate business process in production, development and sales area. It has hardware and software system. Hardware system is consists of TMS, TDS, TPS. Software system Is scientific SQC utilized TQM. For the advanced next generation manufacturing management system, we should develop New JIT system.

  • We have been recognize the adaptation of JIT(Just-in-Time) production system is necessary to improve the constitution of enterprises. But this system is not settled in our industrial environment owing to misunderstanding of JIT concepts and lack of participation all members of the oranization. This paper deals with systematic application of the JIT subsystems such as U-form layout, flexible workforces with multi- functional skilled workers and adjustment of standard operations procedures. And a successful productivity improvement case study of a small and medium sized industry was dealt.

  • CIM and JIT have been known as a suitable production system under various product with small quantity production environment which demands short delivery, high quality, and flexibility. CIM is the integrated system for both automated facilities and computer information processing technology and JIT is the system for an exhaustive waste elimination. This paper proposes the JIT-CIM system which combines the concepts and characteristics of JIT and CIM. The JIT-CIM system has been implemented under the strategy of management such as market-in, integration, recycling and resonable profit and which integrates the automation facilities and information processing technology on the basis of waste elimination concept and small lot pronciple of JIT.

  • There use many production management systems for increasing productivity, minimizing inventory, keeping due dates and maximizing use of resources. MRP, GT and JIT are popular among these systems. There use many production management systems for increasing productivity, minimizing inventory, keeping due dates and maximizing use of resources. MRP, GT and JIT are popular among these systems. In this study, we had designed mixed production system which integrated searching and grouping function of GT, purchasing function of JIT and based on MRP and developed related algorithms and applied systems. The developed system was based on appling renewed algorithms for existing MRP system. To test efficiency operated real-data but we have tested renewed algorithms using sample-data because of massive real-data.

  • Objectives This experiment is about Jojoongikgi-tang(JIT) exerts anti-inflammatory effects in BV2 microglial cells, and the effect of JIT on Nitric oxide(NO) production in lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated BV2 microglial cells were also demonstrated. Methods To investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of JIT, NO production, expression level of iNOS mRNA, PGE2 synthesis, expression COX-2 mRNA, cell viability, $TNF-{\alpha}$ mRNA expression were examined. Results The expression level of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS) was decreased by JIT, and the production of Prostaglandin E2(PGE2) and the expression of Cox-2 mRNA also were inhibited by JIT. Proinflammatory mediators, such as $TNF-{\alpha}$, $IL-1{\beta}$, IL-12, were inhibited by JIT in a dose-dependent manner. Conclusions JIT have anti-inflammatory effects in BV2 microglial cells and could be used in inflammatory disease.

  • Recently, the companies can't avoid the change toward the jobbing production from mass production because manufacturing types are changed from manufacturing-oriented to customer-oriented for the security of competitive power among the related companies. The jobbing production system usually has such problems as low productivity, high unit cost, much stocks, long manufacturing time and one-sided decision of delivery date compared with the mass production. In order to settle these problems in the jobbing production system, we introduced the JIT production system including 3 regulations & 6S activities and Kanban system etc. The effective operation of JIT production system makes the processes efficiently and reduces the unneeded stocks and maximizes the revenue of company.

  • This study aims at establishing JIT production management system to enable manage the resources input into from procurement through construction based on correct identification of the process, an analysis on the amount of input materials and information sharing. This study has focused on the process control and working process of rebar work in domestic apartment house construction where the overall scope of Process from the planning phase to the construction phase has been analyzed in this study. Also construction phase was selected for the application of a sample case. A basic model for JIT production was generated with these processes. Furthermore A questionnaire and the on-site survey with process, checklist and control data were prepared and performed for the application of JIT production management model into rebar work. The governing scopes of JIT production management system include process management, material management, yard loading and moving management and inventory control, and the operation of each control item

  • In an effort to become more competitive and cost efficient many companies have shifted from traditional job-shop production to production using group technology (GT) and cell manufacturing (CM). Cellular manufacturing is critical to implementing Just-in-Time (JIT) production which pointed out in the previous articles. and adopt the U-shaped cell which allows for entry at one end of the U and exist at the other. This paper looks at the availability of cellular manufacturing, by applying those concepts to the small and medium sized industry.
