Review of Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Studies on Tuina Treatment of Children's Autism Spectrum Disorder (소아 자폐스펙트럼 장애의 추나 치료에 대한 중의학 임상 연구 고찰)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Tuina treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and to propose guidance to future studies or application in clinical setting. Methods The articles published from year 2000 to May 2021 by China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) were searched by setting up field as '中醫學', '中藥', '中西醫結合' and by setting up keyword as '小儿自閉症', '儿童自閉症', '自閉症譜系障碍', 'Autism', 'Autism spectrum disorder' that corresponds to participant and '推拿', '導引', '按摩', 'Tuina', 'massage'. Results Nine selected articles were analyzed and summarized by authors and year published, characteristics, diagnostic criteria, treatment methods and contents, treatment duration, evaluation criteria and results of the study. The articles were also reviewed by reported side effects, and evaluated the quality of the study according to Cochrane Handbook's Risk of Bias 2 (RoB 2) assessment of the Randomized Control Trial (RCT) articles. All studies used Tuina treatment to achieve effective results for pediatric autism spectrum disorder. Conclusion Pediatric Tuina treatment (TM) is a non-invasive treatment that does not stimulate patients with unstable ASD but increase patient adherence, and can be safely and simply operated. Therefore, pediatric Tuina treatment is worth utilizing as a clinical basis for further development of ASD treatment.

  • The Joint Video Exploration Team (JVET) has studied future video coding (FVC) technologies with a potential compression capacity that significantly exceeds that of the high-efficiency video coding (HEVC) standard. The joint exploration test model (JEM), a common platform for the exploration of FVC technologies in the JVET, employs quadtree plus binary tree block partitioning, which enhances the flexibility of coding unit partitioning. Despite significant improvement in coding efficiency for chrominance achieved by separating luminance and chrominance tree structures in I slices, this approach has intrinsic drawbacks that result in the redundancy of block partitioning data. In this paper, an adaptive tree structure correlating luminance and chrominance of single and dual trees is presented. Our proposed method resulted in an average reduction of -0.24% in the Y Bjontegaard Delta rate relative to the intracoding of JEM 6.0 common test conditions.

  • MPEG과 VCEG은 차세대 비디오 부호화 표준 기술 개발를 위한 JVET(Joint Video Exploration Team)을 구성하여 현재 비디오 표준화인 HEVC 대비 높은 부호화 효율을 목표로 연구를 진행하며 CfP(Call for Proposal) 단계를 진행 중이다. JVET의 공통 플랫폼인 JEM(Joint Exploration Test Model)은 HEVC의 quad-tree 기반 블록 분할 구조를 대신하여 더 많은 유연성을 제공하는 QTBT(Quad-tree plus binary-tree)가 적용되었다. QTBT는 화면 내 부호화 효율을 높이기 위한 하나의 방법으로 휘도와 색차 신호에 대해 분할된 블록 구조를 지원한다. 이러한 방법은 채널 간 블록 분할 모양이 동일하거나 비슷한 경우에 중복되는 블록 분할 신호가 발생할 수 있는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 화면 내 부호화에서 채널 간 유사도 비교를 이용하여 적응형 색차 블록 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법의 실험 결과로 JEM 6.0과 비교하여 CfE(Call for Evidence) 영상에서 평균 0.28%의 Y BD-rate 감소와 함께 평균 124.5%의 부호화 복잡도 증가를 확인하였다.

국제우주정거장 가압모듈 활용분야 및 전망 분석

  • 국제우주정거장 (International Space Station; ISS) 프로그램을 통하여 미국을 비롯한 15개 참여 국가들은 우주공간의 과학 연구 및 산업적 활용을 위한 전초기지를 만들어 나가고 있다. ISS에는 미세중력 (Microgravity) 환경을 이용하여 각종 실험을 수행하기 위한 공간으로 총 6개의 가압모듈 (Pressurized Module; PM)이 설치되었거나 설치될 예정이다. 현재 설치되어 있는 PM으로는 2001년 2월 ISS에 부착된 미국 NASA의 Destiny 실험모듈이 있으며, 향후 미국의 Centrifuge Accommodation Module (CAM), 일본의 Japanese Experiment Module- Pressurized Module (JEM-PM), 유럽연합의 Columbus Module, 러시아의 Research Module 등이 설치될 예정이다. Roll-to-Roll Manufacturing of Displays;Can it Become a Reality?

  • A basic assessment is presented of the technical, economic and strategic challenges expected for manufacturing displays in a roll-to-roll format. Two general pathways are considered; one that results in dramatic cost reductions but results in sacrificing product performance, and another which is an extension of the conventional FPD cost-reduction from increased substrate size. While Roll-to-Roll fabrication is fundamentally possible, feasibility experiments will be required to address the most significant technical challenge: achieving and managing acceptable yield. In all respects, the efforts to achieve RTR manufacturing will be assisted by overlapping interests in other application areas such as flex circuit, photovoltaics and large area lighting.

A Method to Determine the Wavelength of Electron Beam from LACBED Pattern (LACBED 패턴으로부터 전자빔의 파장 측정 방법)

  • The operating accelerating voltage in the electron microscopy may differ from the nominal voltage specified by the manufacture. Thus it is necessary, at least once, to determine the wavelength of electron beam for the nominal accelerating voltage. Particularly in QCBED technique, the wavelength of the incident electron beam on a specimen must be determined as accurately as possible. In this paper we present a simple method to determine accurately the wavelength of electrons from LACBED patterns of a known crystalline materials, which is analogous to a method based on Kikuchi patterns reported previously. This method is to utilize three diffraction lines not belonging to the same zone, which nearly intersect at the same point. For an application of the method, the wavelength of electrons for the 200 kv nominal acceleration voltage of JEM2010 is determined to be 0.002496(3) nm ($201.5{\pm}0.4$ kv) with an uncertainty of 0.12%.

  • Objectives: This study was performed to estimate domestic usage amount of insecticide for fruit cultivation to suggest job-exposure matrix(JEM) regarding farmers treating agricultural insecticide. Materials and Methods: The domestic usage amount of insecticide for fruit cultivation was investigated according to two research methods. The former method is to use agricultural pesticides published annually from Korea Crop Protection Association(KCPA) and the latter method is to apply cultivation area of fruit provided officially from Statistics Korea(SK). Results: It was found that its domestic usage amount has decreased gradually from the first sale to presence(2012). However, there is a significant difference of annual usage trend of insecticide for fruit cultivation between shipments and estimation. The annual usage trends of insecticide for fruit cultivation based on regional classification were different from those based on total aspect. Conclusions: The region which used insecticide for fruit cultivation the most in Korea was as follows: Gyeonsang-do, followed by Jeolla-do, Chungcheong-do, Jeju-do, Seoul/Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do. An averaged ratio of usage amounts of insecticide based on shipments and those based on estimation by cultivation area was $980{\pm}186%$, which means that usage amounts of insecticide estimated by shipments are ten times higher than those based on cultivation area.

Target Classification for Multi-Function Radar Using Kinematics Features (운동학적 특징을 이용한 다기능 레이다 표적 분류)

  • The target classification for ballistic target(BT) is one of the most critical issues of ballistic defence mode(BDM) in multi-function radar(MFR). Radar responds to the target according to the result of classifying BT and air breathing target(ABT) on BDM. Since the efficiency and accuracy of the classification is closely related to the capacity of the response to the ballistic missile offense, effective and accurate classification scheme is necessary. Generally, JEM(Jet Engine Modulation), HRR(High Range Resolution) and ISAR(Inverse Synthetic Array Radar) image are used for a target classification, which require specific radar waveform, data base and algorithms. In this paper, the classification method that is applicable to a MFR system in a real environment without specific waveform is proposed. The proposed classifier adopts kinematic data as a feature vector to save radar resources at the radar time and hardware point of view and is implemented by fuzzy logic of which simple implementation makes it possible to apply to the real environment. The performance of the proposed method is verified through measured data of the aircraft and simulated data of the ballistic missile.
