모유수유 적응 측정 도구 개발 (Development of a Breast Feeding Adaptation Scale (BFAS))

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop a breast feeding adaptation scale (BFAS) to evaluate adaptation to breastfeeding for breastfeeding mothers and their infants and to test the validity and reliability of the instrument. Methods: The study was conducted as follows: application of the conceptual framework, identification of the content domains, items generation, and test of validity and reliability. In order to test validity and reliability, two panels of experts reviewed items and subcategories of the preliminary questionnaire and then data were collected from 329 mothers who were up to 4 weeks postpartum and breastfeeding. Descriptive statistics, t-test, factor analysis, and Cronbach's alpha were used to analyze the data. Results: The conceptual framework was based on the Roy adaptation model. The content domains were developed via literature review, review of instruments, and data acquired from the interviews of breastfeeding mothers and nurses. A total of 69 items belonging to 8 domains were generated. A reduction to 44 preliminary items was accomplished through content validity analysis. Factor analysis extracted 8 factors with a total of 27 items on a 5-point Likert scale. Content validity, construct validity, criterion validity, and reliability of the BFAS were established. Conclusion: The newly developed BFAS is a reliable and valid instrument with which the adaptation of breastfeeding mothers and their infants to the breastfeeding behavior can be evaluated.

안전인증 대상 위험 기계 및 기구 관련 재해 원인분석 (Cause Analysis of Accidents Associated with Dangerous Machines and Devices Subject to Safety Certification)

  • Intensity of accidents associated with dangerous machines and devices are (hereafter items), in general, high compared to other industrial accidents. This study focuses on cause analysis of accidents associated with items that are subject to safety certification. The method is based on automated analysis of abstracts of accidents written in descriptive format. The analysis results indicate that more than 50% of accidents associated with items are caused by technical reasons and nearly 50% of accidents were preventable. More effective prevention of industrial accidents would then be realized by safety certification at the stage of danger generation. Transition from the direct regulation on users to manufacturers is also needed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of industrial safety system in Korea.

한글 체크리스트로부터 테스트 케이스 자동 생성 방안 (An Automatic Test Case Generation Method from Checklist)

  • 본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템 테스트에 많이 사용되는 테스트 항목이 기술된 체크리스트를 기반으로 테스트 케이스를 자동으로 생성하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 체크리스트에는 테스트하고자 하는 항목이 정의되어 있다. 하지만 대부분의 테스트 케이스 생성 전략에서는 테스트 하고자하는 항목뿐만 아니라 다양한 변이 조건에서도 테스트하기를 권하고 있다. 제안하는 방법은 한글로 기술된 체크리스트를 분석하여 시스템 입출력과 연산 정보를 찾아낸다. 그리고 찾아낸 정보와 설정하는 테스트 케이스 생성 전략에 따라 테스트 케이스를 자동으로 생성한다. 이 방법은 테스트 케이스를 수동으로 생성할 때, 일으킬 수 있는 오류를 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 체크리스트에는 기술되지 않는 다양한 변이 테스트 케이스도 생성할 수 있다. 제안된 방법은 구현되고, 실제 의료기기용 임베디드 시스템의 체크리스트를 사용하여 실험을 진행한다. 실험에서는 체크리스트로부터 여러 커버리지에 적절한 테스트 케이스가 오류 없이 통계적으로 정확히 생성되었음을 확인할 수 있어서 제안된 방법의 유용성을 보여준다.

전문대학 신입생들의 대학선택 영향 요인 분석을 위한 측정도구 개발 (Development a Measurement Scale for Analysis on Factors Influencing College Choice of College Freshman's)

  • 본 연구는 전문대학을 선택하는 과정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 측정도구를 개발하고자 시행되었다. 이를 위해 연구모형과 초기문항을 설정하였고 내용타당도와 1차 예비조사과정을 거쳤다. 문항의 타당도와 신뢰도 분석을 위해 충북 제천 소재의 일개 전문대학 신입생 230명을 대상으로 2차 예비조사를 실시하였으며 문항분석과 문항 신뢰도 분석, 주성분 분석을 이용한 요인분석, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ 계수를 통한 도구의 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 분석결과 전체 변량의 68.37%를 설명하는 15요인(61문항)이 추출되었으며 속성에 따라 매체경로정보수집(4문항), 대학활동경로정보수집(3문항), 대학지원 및 환경(4문항), 교육관련(5문항), 의사결정영향인사(3문항), 교육품질(4문항), 교육서비스(5문항), 대학명성(3문항), 접근성(2문항), 개인상황(2문항), 매체광고(5문항), 대학프로모션(4문항), 온라인홍보(4문항), 인적홍보(3문항), 대학 이미지(10문항)로 분류되었다. 본 설문도구의 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$는 전체 0.916이었고 각 요인별로 0.694~0.878로 나타났다. 개발된 측정도구는 급격한 환경변화로 신입생 충원에 어려움이 많은 지방 전문대학의 정책적 전략 수립 시 필요한 기초자료 수집에 활용될 수 있을 것이라 생각된다.

연료비 이외의 항목도 발전시장의 변동비로 간주할 수 있는가? (Can Non-Fuel Costs be Considered as Variable Costs in Generation Market?)

  • 2005년 5개 발전사업자는 변동비 반영시장에 기존의 연료비 외에 연료사용 전후에 관련된 부대비용도 포함시킬 것을 건의하였다. 발전량과의 OLS 분석을 통해 관련을 검토한 결과 이 같은 변동비 희망항목이 발전량과 통계적으로 유의한 관계를 갖고 있다는 일반적인 성향을 발견할 수 없어서 변동비로 인정할만한 종합적인 근거는 취약하였다. 변동비 희망항목 중 몇몇 항목이 특정 발전설비에 대해 OLS 분석에서 통계적 유의성을 갖는 등 변동비가 될 수 있는 가능성을 보이고 있다. 그러나 비용산정의 시차, 재고관리와 이에 따른 회계처리 방법 등의 문제로 인하여 발전량과 유의적인 통계적 관계를 보이지 못할 수 있다. 따라서 변동비 희망항목에 대해서는 통일된 기준을 세우고 자료를 표준화하는 작업이 선행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

온라인 커뮤니티에서 자기표현욕구의 영향요인과 디지털 아이템 구매의도에 미치는 효과 (The Antecedents of Need for Self-Presentation and the Effect on Digital Item Purchase Intention in an Online Community)

  • Lots of virtual communities and online businesses presently derive their primary sources of revenues through advertising, but nevertheless are plagued with marginal profitability though they might possess a significant user base. In the light of the need for an efficacious business model, there have been recent insights of an online community in particular reaping profits through an innovative and lucrative revenue generation method that earns by selling digital items. There have been some obvious evidences (e.g., Cyworld, SecondLife, Habo Hotel, etc.) that online communities can be profitable through their unique business model of selling digital items. However, there is lack of understanding about the motivation of purchasing digital items. This study tries to identify the main motivators of digital item purchases based on social/individual identity theory and self-presentation theory. "Digital items", otherwise known as "virtual assets", may include online avatars, accessories for the avatars, decorative ornaments like furniture, digital wallpapers, skins, background music and virtual weapons used for Internet games. These digital items are employed by users for representation and articulation in the online space, especially to create and enhance their online profiles in web pages and games. Prices for digital items typically range from a few cents to a few dollars each. Based on the theoretical framework like social identity theory and self-presentation theory, we developed the research model and proposed seven hypotheses. An analysis of 225 members of Cyworld found that digital item purchase intention in virtual world is affected by both members' need for self-presentation and need for affiliation. We also found that the need for self-presentation is significantly increased by innovativeness of members, community group norm, and community involvement. We concluded that the need for self-presentation could be a key variable for profitable business model in online community service industry. However, neither individual self-efficacy nor the need for affiliation significantly influenced the need for self-presentation which triggers purchase intention of digital items. In term of the theoretical and practical contribution, this study can be a pioneering empirical research that investigates the purchase intention of digital items based on social identity theory and self-presentation theory in the online context. Also, the findings of our study are valuable and practical for practitioners in the market who wish to adopt or improve the business model of selling digital items in an online community. From the findings, it can be seen that innovativeness of users, community group norm, and community involvement are three significant factors that influence need for self-presentation of users which ultimately leads to their intentions to buy digital items. These findings put forth that virtual community providers and online businesses selling digital items should prioritize their efforts and focus on these three factors if they want to increase the sales of these digital items and generate greater revenues. This study provides important implications for academic researchers and practitioners to understand why the community members pay money for their digital items in virtual world and how the practitioners can increase the sales of digital items in an online community. A couple of limitations of the study and future research directions are also discussed.

임상간호사의 병원폭력에 대한 태도 측정도구 개발 (Development and Validation of the Hospital Violence Attitude Scale-18 (HVAS-18) for Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a Hospital Violence Attitude Scale-18 (HVAS-18) for clinical nurses. Methods: The HVAS-18 was developed and validated in 3 steps: Item generation through literature reviews and in-depth interviews, pilot study, and the validity and reliability tests using a test-retest technique. Forty-one items were initially extracted by 8 experts, and 18 items were finally developed by item and factor analysis. The final HVAS-18 was evaluated by 326 clinical nurses from seven general hospitals in three cities. The collected data were analyzed using factor analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Results: Five discrete factors emerged, which explained 64.0% of the total variance. Each five factor was labeled: Factor 1 (6 items) 'awareness'explained 18.2%; Factor 2 (4 items) 'response' explained 12.9%; Factor 3 (4 items) 'reaction' explained 12.9%; Factor 4 (2 items) 'result-nursing' explained 10.2%; and Factor 5 (2 items) 'result-violence offender' explained 9.6%. The internal consistency, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, was .87, and reliability of the sub-scales ranged from .72 to .83. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that HVAS-18 can be an useful, reliable, and valid instrument for measuring hospital violence attitude of clinical nurses.

AHP를 이용한 개량형 정보 표시 평가 항목의 중요도 선정에 관한 연구 (The Selection of Human factors Evaluation Criteria for Information Display on VDT using AHP)

  • In large scale complex system such as a nuclear power plant, it is important to select guidelines and/or checklist to evaluate the system performance, especially human performance for visual information while the number of evaluation items of the guidelines and checklist is voluminous. This paper presents the methodology and experiment for the relative weights or priority selection of evaluation items on the advanced information display of main control room in a nuclear power plant. To summarize this, 1) many human factors guidelines of Visual Display Terminal(VDT) displays are collected, 2) the collected guidelines are integrated and unified based on some rules in a way to avoid confusion or errors about work performances of operator groups, 3) using the unified guidelines, the more important items are defined when the advanced information indexes are applied by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). For employing the AHP, the decisions and response of many human factors evaluation specialists in this field are collected to get the priority order of the evaluation items of VDT. The result of this paper will be applied for the evaluation of the usability of next generation of nuclear power plant which is focused on the visual information display on VDT.

한국형 골관절염영향측정도구 개발 - 자료수집에서 1차 문항개발까지 - (Development of Korean Osteoarthritis Impact Measurement Scale(KAIMS) : from data collection to item development in the first study)

  • Purpose : The aim of this study was from data collection to item development in the first study before developing a valid and reliable instrument reflecting Korean's own language expression and culture. Methods : The fist survey was 140 osteoarthritis(OA) patients in 2 Cites was studied from November to December 2009. Open-ended questionnaire was decided 39 items from the first open survey. Questionnaire on the Korean Osteoarthritis Impact Measurement Scale(KAIMS) was recruited 2 professors and 5 physical therapists. Second survey was applied to 133 OA patients. Results : OA patients's average age${\pm}$standard deviation was $66.08{\pm}11.10$ years. The internal consistency reliability of 3 items. As estimated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient(${\alpha}$), was high(range, 0.86~0.96). 0.43~0.91 ${\alpha}$ coefficient for the internal consistency reliability of item-each scale was also high. However, item-discriminant validity on 3 items was low(${\alpha}$, 0.92~0.97). The construct validity by factor analysis was a little low. Conclusion : This study revealed that we confirmed a generation for 39 items on KAIMS reflecting Korean's own language expression and culture. Also, those of reliability were a little high. And, we will have to study the last instrument development (3rd study) by more subjects in the future.

수량적 연관규칙탐사를 위한 효율적인 고빈도항목열 생성기법 (Generating Large Items Efficiently For Mining Quantitative Association Rules)

  • 본 논문은 기존의 수량적 연관규칙탐사를 위한 고빈도항목열 생성방법이 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하는 효율적인 고빈도항목열 생성기법을 제안한다. 제안된 생성기법은 분할과정에서 최소분할지지율을 이용하여 분할간격을 유동적으로 결정하는 방법과 데이타의 집중도를 우선 순위로 하여 분할된 소간격을 병합하는 방법을 사용한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 기존의 방법보다 세밀한 고빈도항목열을 생성할 수 있는 것과 데이타들의 특성을 잃어버리지 않는 특징을 갖는다. 성능평가를 통하여 제안된 방법이 기존의 방법에 비해 보다 효율적인 고빈도항목열을 생성함을 보인다.
