온라인 게임 및 아이템 거래의 범죄 연관성에 관한 실증 연구 (Analysis on the Relationship between Online Game-Item Trade and Cyber Crimes)

  • 2000년대 온라인 게임이 급격하게 성장하면서부터 온라인 게임 및 아이템 거래가 사이버 범죄 등을 발생시키는 주요 요인이라는 견해가 존재하였다. 그러나 정말로 온라인 게임 및 아이템 거래가 범죄 증가와 관련이 있는가에 대해서는 그동안 실증적 연구가 이루어지지 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 게임 및 아이템 거래가 범죄 증가와 실증적인 관계가 존재하는가를 검증하였다. 분석결과, 온라인 게임 및 아이템 거래는 사이버 범죄, 재산 범죄 증가와 통계적으로 유의미한 관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 온라인 게임 및 아이템 거래는 범죄 행위를 절대적으로 증가시키는 것은 아니며, 기존 범죄에 대한 새로운 대체 수단으로 활용되고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 즉 온라인 게임 및 아이템 거래는 기존의 비재산 범죄를 재산 범죄로 대체하는 역할을 하는 것으로서 추정된다.

안구운동 분석을 통한 의복의 시각적 평가의 객관화 (Methodology Development of Clothing Appearance by Eye Movement Analysis)

  • The main purpose of this research is to develop the methodology of objective evaluation of clothing appearance by eye movement analysis. The visual clothing items used in this study were skirt, one-piece, pants and shirt with the style variation of silhouette and details. By observing eye movement during visual evaluation of clothing, we can achieve the basic fixation data of eye movement. Moreover, we developed the Matlab program to extract the fixation coordinate and number of eye fixation on each part of the clothing item. As results, there were differences in the duration of fixation time for each item and the fixation time was not different by styles within a clothing item. However, we could find differences in the fixation time within a style, in other words, we could select the important parts of the clothing by observing the fixation time in a certain clothing item. It is also noted that time required in visual information processing differs depending on the item, and there was a region which contain more information independent with styles in the same item. By developing the objective method of visual evaluation that correspond to human's visual information processing, the results are expected to be applied in the retrieval program in internet shopping mall or in the development of contents for advertisement of clothing.

Measuring health activation among foreign students in South Korea: initial evaluation of the feasibility, dimensionality, and reliability of the Consumer Health Activation Index (CHAI)

  • Foreign students in South Korea face important challenges when they try to maintain their health. As a measure of their motivation to actively build skills for overcoming those challenges, we evaluated the 10-item Consumer Health Activation Index (CHAI), testing its feasibility, dimensionality, and reliability. There were no missing data, there was no floor effect, and for the total scores the ceiling effect was trivial (< 2%). Results of the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin test and Bartlett's test of sphericity indicated that the data were suitable for the detection of structure by factor analysis. The results of parallel analysis and the shape of the scree plot supported a two-factor solution. One factor had 3 items concerning "my doctor" and the other factor had the 7 remaining items. Reliability was high for the 10-item CHAI (alpha = 0.856), for the 3-item subscale (alpha = 0.838), and for the 7-item subscale (alpha = 0.857). Reliability could not be improved by deletion of any items. Use of the CHAI to gather data from these foreign students is feasible, and reliable results can be obtained whether one uses the total score from all 10 items or scores from the proposed 7-item and 3-item subscales.

영유아용 (만 2세~5세) 발달검사 개발을 위한 예비연구 (A Preliminary Study on the Development of a Developmental Test for Toddlers and Preschoolers)

  • This study aimed to develop a reliable and valid developmental test for toddlers and preschoolers. A trial form of the test with 230 items in 5 domains(cognitive, physical, language, social, and self-help) was constructed and administered to 200 children from 2 to 5-year-olds. Item analysis indicated that most items selected in cognitive, physical, and indicated domain were acceptable in terms of item response rate and item discrimination. However, some items in social and self-help domain did not show clear age trends in item response, but mostly were adequate in item discrimination. Based on item analysis, 112 items were selected for the final form : 24 items each for the cognitive, physical, and language domain; 20 items each for the social and self-help domain. Reliability indicated by internal consistency coefficients(KR-20) were high in all domains. Validity of the test was supported by inter-correlations among 5 domains(.61 to .93), and significant age differences in domain scores.

의학교육에서 컴퓨터바탕검사와 문항은행 데이터베이스 구축 (Computer-Based Testing and Construction of an Item Bank Database for Medical Education in Korea)

  • A number of medical schools in Korea have been using computer-based testing (CBT) for evaluating their students' scientific and/or clinical performance since the early 1990s. Introducing CBT to medical education would have several advantages: first, presenting figures and audio-video files of clinical content is simple with CBT, making it possible to evaluate medical students' competency with navigating more realistic clinical situations at minimum cost; second, CBT enables automatic item analysis and score reporting. To establish CBT, constructing an item bank with item parameters such as difficulty or discriminating parameters will be needed. To select more psychometrically sound items, analysis of the items according to item response theory is necessary. CBT has already been introduced in high stakes tests like the United States Medical Licensing Examination and the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination. The National Health Personnel Examination Board in Korea is also planning to introduce a CBT-based version of the National Medical Examination soon. Thus all medical schools in Korea will need to introduce CBT and construct item banks to prepare their students for their licensing examinations and to measure the students' competency more accurately.

문항반응이론을 적용한 융합적 사고 및 문제해결 역량진단 도구의 병렬 단축형 개발 : H 대학교를 중심으로 (Development of Parallel Short Forms of the Convergent Thinking and Problem Solving Inventory Utilizing Item Response Theory : A Case Study of Students in H University)

  • The study was conducted to develop two parallel short forms for the Convergent thinking and Problem solving questionnaires which are part of H University's core competency diagnostic tools, based on Multi-Item Response Theory. Item responses of 2,580 students were analyzed using Graded Response Model(GRM) to determine item difficulty and discrimination of each item. The research results are as follows. Two parrallel short tests were developed for the Convergent thinking questionnaire consisting of 12 items which were originally 17 items. Likewise, the Problem solving questionnaire, which originally consisted of 15 questions, was divided into two parallel short forms, each consisting of 9 items. The reliability of the shortened parallel tests was confirmed through internal consistency analysis, and their similarity to the original tests was established through correlation analysis. This study contributed to quality management of competency-based education and programs at H University by developing shortened tests. Based on the results, implications were presented as well as limitations and discussions.

화물품목의 중요도를 반영한 철도화물취급역의 효율성 평가 (Assessing the Efficiency of Freight Railroad Stations Reflecting Freight Item Importance Weights)

  • 본 논문에서는 다수의 성과지표를 동시에 고려하며 각 역의 운영조건을 반영하고 더불어 화물품목의 중요도를 반영하여 각 화물취급역의 성과를 평가하는 방안을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 187개 화물취급역에 대해서 품목별 '발송규모'와 '도착규모'를 성과지표로 사용하고 각 역의 '화물인력'과 '유치가능량'을 운영조건지 표로 사용하며 품목별 중요도를 확신영역 제약조건으로 반영하는 자료포락분석으로 효율성을 평가하였다. 이러한 결과는 철도경영자 또는 철도정책담당자의 경영전략이나 정책의사결정에 유용한 정보로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

일상적 생활 스트레스에 대한 아동의 대처행동 척도 개발 (Development of Daily Hassles Coping Scale for Children)

  • The purpose of this study was the development of a scale to assess daily hassles coping behaviors for school aged children. The subjects were 398 children consisted of 197 3rd grade an 201 6th grade. They were selected from elementary school in Seoul, InCheon, DaeJeon, GwangJu and Pusan(202 males and 196 females) A questionnaire as the methodological instrument composed of 65-item daily hassles coping scale, demographic questions, 27-item Children's Depression Inventory and 20-item Locus of Control Scale. Statistics such as mean, %, X2, Cramer's V, Cronbach's α, factor analysis and Person's γ was used for used data analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows; 1)55 items of the 65-item scale were selected through item discriminant method. The discriminant coeffcients of the items(Cramer's V) ranged from .35 to .68. 2)5 factors were extracted from the 1st and the 2nd factor analysis. The subscales labelled 'active' 'passive' 'aggressive' 'avoidant' and 'social support seeking' coping. The criterion validity of this scale was assessed by computing the correlation measures of Children's Depression Inventory and Locus of Control Scale with this scale. Most coefficients were significant(ranging from r=-.16 to r=.40,p<.01,p<.001), although their correlations were modest. 3)Finally, the internal consistency of this scale appeared to be at an acceptable level(Cronbach's α=.90)

학령기 아동의 의복행동 측정도구 개발에 관한 연구 -4, 5, 6학년 아동을 중심으로- (A Study on the Measurement of Clothing Behavior of Elementary School Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to develope a questionaire measuring clothing behavior of elementary school children. At first, after pretest, the clothing behavior questionaire consisted of 70 items which were devidad. into 7 subscales i.e. Clothing interest. Clothing satisfaction. Clothing management, Clothing sex-role. Clothing comfort. Clothing conformity. and Clothing independence. Each item was rated on a 3-point scale. Samples were 447 boys and girls (4 th, 5 th, 6 th grade) of three elementary schools in Seoul. Korea. The data were analyzed by item analysis and factor analysis. Factor analysis was useful in attempting to establish contruct validity. Item validity was examined based on the correlation coefficients and item discriminating power through the chi-square. Reliability was examined based on the Cronbach's Alpha Reliability Coefficient and test-retest method. With this analysis the subscales were reconstructed to following 6 factors. Clothing conformity items were not clustered by the factor analysis. 52 items of 6 factors selected by the analysis. The factors characteristics were as follows: 1. Clothing interest (10 items) 2. Clothing satisfaction (11 items) 3. Clothing management (8 items) 4. Clothing sex-role (12 items) 5. Clothing comfort (6 items) 6. Clothing independence (5 items)

경부통증대상자에 대한 경부장애지수의 Rasch분석 (Rasch Analysis to Neck disability Index with Neck Pain Subjects)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the functional category, the item structure and the model-data fit of the neck disability index (NDI) of neck pain subjects by performing a Rasch rating scale analysis. Methods: The data was obtained from the assessments of 71 college students (males: 27, females: 44) with neck pain. The data of the NDI was applied to the Rasch's rating scale model to estimate the difficulty of items, the goodness-of-fit of each item, the separation reliability and index, and the rating scale. Results: The 'sleep' item showed misfit and nine items were founds to be fits for self-reporting of disability due to neck pain. The most difficult item of the remaining 9 items was 'work' and the easiest item was 'headache'. The transformation formula score=(logit score+7.10)/(7.10+0.11)$\times$100. The 6 response levels of the NDI were validated according to the structure of the rating scale. The item and subject reliability of the separation reliability was 0.97 and 0.85, respectively. Conclusion: We proved that the NDI for self-reporting of disability of daily activities due to mild neck pain was valid and reliable. This study suggests that individuals with mild neck pain may be assessed by using the modified NDI that does not include the 'sleep' item in the 10 items of NDI.
