Recently, as the appearance and exterior design of the construction structure are highlighted, the irregularly shaped structures are increasing in a construction facility. Many softwares provide a quantity take-off function of 3D object under BIM environment, however, they are focused on the limited function based on the solid modeling method. Because the vast geometric information of the curved surface is difficult to extract in the 3D objects that consist of major changes in vertical section shape as the irregularly shaped structures, it is difficult to express a 3D object as a solid model. On the other hand, the irregularly shaped structures can be expressed in relatively free in the surface model because the surface model consists of points, lines and surfaces. Accordingly, the surface modeling method is suitable for the modeling of large irregularly shaped structures. This study suggests a quantity take-off algorithm for the irregularly shaped structures using the surface modeling approach that is beneficial in the design work of structures. Some case projects are used for verifying the accuracy of the proposed method.
Naturally occurring canine transmissible venereal tumors of genital organs in mature and regressive stages from 6 dogs were examined by transmission electron microscope. The tumor cells at the stage of maturation were comprised of large round and ovoid cells with prominent nuclei and nucleoli, a few spindle-shaped cells, and irregularly shaped cells. The mature round cells were characterized by the presence of a central ovoid to irregularly round nucleus with a large eccentric nucleolus, vesicular endoplasmic reticulum, round to oval swollen mitochondria with few cristae, Golgi's apparatus, and plasma membranes with numerous microvilli. As the tumor degenerated, the tumor cells were increased in the number of spindle-shaped, fibroblast-like and irregularly shaped cells, collagen bundles, and mainly lymphocytes, in contrast to those of the stage of maturation. Regressing tumor cells were characterized by the swelling and vacuolation of mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum, membrane-bound granules, lamellar complex, tubular structures, and dense bundles of collagen. It was suggested that transformation might occur in the course of tumor growth causing morphological change from the round to the fibroblast-like cells, and that there was the evidence of cell-mediated tumor cell lysis by lymphocyte infiltration.
The oval shaped pericardial cells are clustered along the lateral sides of the heart and irregularly connected with the heart. The cells are bounded by a basement membrane. The basement membranes of the connected two peicardial cells are irregularly linked each other there-fore funnels are formed. The multiple invaginations of the cell membrane are observed and septate junctions develope at the part of enterance of the cell membrane. The coated pits are appeared in the inner side of the invaginated cell membrane. The coated vesicles, tubular and spherical shaped vesicle, Golgi complex containing high electron densed material in the cisternae and mitochondria are observed in the cytoplasm and lysosomes are remarkably well developed. The whirled membrane structures in the multiformed complex bounded by single membrane are linked with low electron densed granules and spherical shaped small granules having high electron density with $0.03{\mu}m$ in diameter are located between the whirled membrane in a row and gradually secretes the granules and then they produced the multilamellar body. The lysosomal regions of cytoplasm of pericardial cell are appeared negative reaction to the acid phosphatase and according to the results of the electrophoresis, lipoproteins having acid phosphatase activity are contained. The axon is contacted with the pericardial cells.
The fine structures of the sperm morphology in the Myotis daubentonii ussuriensis were observed by transmission electron microscope. The results showed that the sperm head revealed bullet shaped, the width was showed a slender more than toward the posterior region to anterior region of nucleus. The sperm head was about $4.5{\mu}m$ in length, being about $2.0{\mu}m$ in width. The nuclear length was $4.3{\mu}m$, occupied most of the sperm head. The nucleus and acrosome were separated by the apical body. The neck region was composed the basal plate, capitulum and segmented columns. The segmented columns were about 12 to 14 in number and connected with the outer dense fibers of the middle piece. The mitochondria sheath were arranged like the thread of a screw, and the total number of mitochondrial gyres were 57. The satellite fibers were observed irregularly among the outer dense fibers in the middle piece. Except the middle piece they are not observed in the principal and end pieces of the tail. In general, the tail show axoneme composed of a 9+2 microtubular pattern, and microtubules of the end piece were arranged irregularly.
A dermal sarcoma was found in a freshwater, soft-shelled turtle Pelodiscus sinensis. The neoplasm consisted of proliferating fibrous tissue and extended from the dermis. The overlying epidermis was hyperplastic and partially folded. The deeper dermis and hypodermis contained three large, discrete necrotic foci of -10 mm diameter. Numerous eosinophilic granule cells and macro phages surrounded the necrotic areas. A mixed population of cells with nuclear pleomorphism was observed between the papillary layers of vessels. This area also had regions of different histological structures: (l) regularly arranged, spindle-shaped cells with compact nuclei in a fine-fibrillar matrix; (2) haphazardly arranged cells ($\leq$ 23 11m diameter) with ovoid, highly hypertrophic, faintly stained nuclei; and (3) cells (3.6-5.8 11m diameter) with irregularly shaped nuclei and marginal condensed chromatin in a myxomatous matrix. Some mitotic figures, binucleate cells, and multinucleate giant cells of up to 50 11m in length were also found. Flow cytometry of propidium iodide-stained cells yielded different histograms for the normal skin and the skin (primarily epidermis) and fibrous dermis of the tumor, indicating DNA heterogeneity in the dermal portion of the tumor. The ploidy indices for the dermal cells were 1.91 and 0.78, as compared to normal cells.
Tripitaka Koreana were made during Coryo Dynasty from 1236 to 1251 A.D. Buddhist scriptures were engraved on 81.340 wooden plates. Some plates were varnished with Rhus lacquer, but most of them were uncoated. Macroscopically, most of the plates appeared intact due to the storage in a well-ventilated wooden house. Because, they were irregularly used for printings with ink, it can be assumed that they were repeatedly exposed to ink-water and drying processes. The present were made to examine the changes of wood cell structures occurred during long-term aging deterioration processes in these dry archaeological wooden plates. Light, scanning and transmission electron microscopes were employed for this study. Wedge-shaped cracks and delamilations were found from the lumen side toward the compound middle lamellae and they progressed toward primary or secondary walls. A large amount of hypae in vessels and the degradation of vessel-ray pit walls by the fungal hyphae were observed. When compared to the recent wood, the birefringence of wood fibers was considerably lower or completly disappeared, suggesting the degradation of crystalline cellulose in these wood samples. The degradation of the cell wall could be also revealed the calculation of crystallinity with X-ray diffraction and the size of crystalline region was estimated.

The functionalized dendrimer containing 48 azobenzene was synthesized. Many isolated featureless domains were explicitly observed even at the air/water interface. Also, these monolayers were representatively observed, showing the change of surface pressure with irradiation time and wavelength. In AFM images, larger domains irregularly shaped structures on the top, while smaller ones were free from such defects. In the optical absorption spectra of the monolayer films by UV irradiation and heat treatment, only the photoiosmerization of the G4-48 Azo monolayers was observed, revealing a decrease of absorbance peaks without any change of the spectral shape. This suggests that the functional group and the symmetric chain affect optical behavior and morphological change.

The ultrastructure of the integumental epidermis of Korean planaria (Dugesia japonica) is studied by light microscope, scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. The planaria has mono-layered integumental epidermis in which most of cells exhibit irregularly columnar shape. The epidermal cells of the integument are classified into six types on the basis of cytochemical and ultrastructural characteristics. 1) Ciliated epithelial cells: These cells have cilia in their free surfaces. The axonemes of cilia exhibits fundamental 9+2 microtubular pattern. 2) Eosinophilic cells: These cells contain a few large eosinophilic granules. The core of eosinophilic granule is consisted of sparsely dispersed fibrillar structures in relatively electron-lucent ground material. 3) Mucous cells: These cells are filled with irregularly shaped, PAS-positive mucous granules which have an average size of $0.8\\times0.3 \\muM$. 4) Rhabdite-forming cells: These cells possess a few strongly-eosinophilic large rhabdite granules. The rhabdite granules are synthesized either in the rhabdite-forming cells which constitute integumental epidermis or in the corresponding cells which are developed in the parenchyma and later transferred to epidermal cells of integumental epidermis through basement membrane. 5) A-type of basophilic granule cells: These granule cells possess round or irregularly-shaped granules which are strongly stained with Alcian blue. These electron-dense granules have an average size of $1.5\\times1.0 \\muM$. This type of cells is derived from parenchymal tissue. 6) B-type of basophilic granule cells: These basophilic granule cells with PAS-positive granules, are found in the epidermis of lateral body wall. The granules, which are about $0.7\\times0.4 \\muM$ in size, occupying most part of this cell type are originated from the parenchyma.

This paper is concerned with the dynamics of hyperelastic solids and structures. We seek for a smart control actuation that produces a desired (prescribed) displacement field in the presence of transient imposed forces. In the literature, this problem is denoted as displacement tracking, or also as shape morphing problem. One talks about shape control, when the displacements to be tracked do vanish. In the present paper, it is assumed that the control actuation is provided by imposed eigenstrains, e.g., by the electric field in piezoelectric actuators, or by thermal actuators, or via analogous physical effects, such as magneto-striction or pre-stress. Structures with a controlled eigenstrain-type actuation belong to the class of smart structures. The action of the eigenstrains can be conveniently characterized by actuation stresses. Our theoretical derivations are performed in the framework of the theory of small incremental dynamic deformations superimposed upon a statically pre-deformed configuration of a hyperelastic solid or structure. We particularly ask for a distribution of incremental actuation stresses, such that the incremental displacements follow exactly a prescribed trajectory field, despite the imposed incremental forces are present. An exact solution of this problem is presented under the assumption that the actuation stresses can be tailored freely and applied everywhere within the body. Extending a Neumann-type solution strategy, it is shown that the actuation stresses due to the distributed control eigenstrains must satisfy certain quasi-static equilibrium conditions, where auxiliary body-forces and auxiliary surface tractions are to be taken into account. The latter auxiliary loading can be directly computed from the imposed forces and from the desired displacement field to be tracked. Hence, despite the problem is a dynamic one, a straightforward computation of proper actuator distributions can be obtained in the framework of quasi-static equilibrium conditions. Necessary conditions for the functioning of this concept are presented. Particularly, it must be required that the intermediate configuration is infinitesimally superstable. Previous results of our group for the case of shape control and displacement tracking in linear elastic structures are included as special cases. The high potential of the solution is demonstrated via Finite Element computations for an irregularly shaped four-corner plate in a state of plain strain.
